You should only be holding if you believe in the technology.
1602  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought at 19k, now what? on: February 06, 2018, 05:22:38 AM
You shouldnt have bought it on credit. I would personally hold it but I am not your financial advisor.
1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually understand Ethereum? on: February 05, 2018, 07:16:00 PM
Ether is actually a very strong good currency. However, in my opinion, he is overrated today regarding Bitcoin. It is worth taking a closer look at the rest of the alternative coins

ETH is pretty expensive for its utility today, however I think it is undervalued in terms of its speculative future.
1604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: February 05, 2018, 07:14:52 PM
Check out my YouTube video where I dive more in depth : BREAKING NEWS KFC is now accepting Bitcoin, and Smart contracts might be legally binding!

Is this just a bucket of chicken, or a bucket of publicity stunts?

You will be able to buy a bucket of chicken in Select Canada KFC's. However you will have to order it online using Bitpay, and have it shipped to you.

Cost : Around $20 + $5 shipping + Taxes + Any other blockchain fees

What do you guys think about it?

Can you imagine the situation when clients come to KFC and buy their chicken for Bitcoins?  I am sorry, but still for me it is a bit ridiculous. Maybe the idea is not bad at all, but I doubt this scheme will be used widely.

If fees were cheap and you could go into the physical location then why dont you think it would work?
1605  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin takes HUGE dip, Regulation becomes a concern and bitconnect turns in on: February 05, 2018, 07:13:41 PM

True. Although I did say if 7.7k was broken, then we'd be in huge trouble.

Well it was broken.. but then jumped right back up. So I think things are fine for now.

Perfect reason to not try and read graphs :p

Indееd, in my оpiniоn, yоur pоrtfоliо is indееd еxcеllеnt.
But why nоt invеst in sоmе ICо prоjеcts? If thе mоnеy invеstеd in thе ICо prоjеct аccоunts fоr 20 pеrcеnt оf аll yоur mоnеy, yоu wоn't cаrе if it gоеs tо 0, but thе bеnеfits will bе substаntiаl.

I just haven't found any that I can see a long term utility.
1607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YouTuber's using marketing schemes toward bitcoin on: February 05, 2018, 07:12:19 PM

1608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking News: Tether , a problem or just FUD... on: February 05, 2018, 07:11:29 PM

Pretty interesting stuff. I wonder how this all will unravel.
1609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS : Bank of America and JP Morgan Are banning CC purchases on: February 05, 2018, 07:09:43 PM
Banks slitting their own throats. Watch them cry in a few years when crypto exchanges start cutting ties and refusing to deal with problem banks, and the banks lose customers every time it happens because we need our exchanges more than we need the banks.

It is a good thing that they are stopping CC payments. You can still use bank accounts and debit cards.
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: OmiseGO on: February 05, 2018, 07:07:52 PM
Omisego is one of my favourite coins in the market. I am following it ever since and its quietly coming on top coins list. It is one of the besy buy and forget coins so current time is right time to buy.

$10 is a great price point to get in for those who want to get involved.
1611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS : Bank of America and JP Morgan Are banning CC purchases on: February 03, 2018, 10:09:12 PM
This makes cryptocurrency more decantralized and nobody concern about this i guess. This is just easy attempts to finish bitcoin. There will be more like this. Just ignore them and look at your way.

How is this the bank trying to finish bitcoin? To my knowledge you can still use bank wires and debit cards. So it is really just to save the banks from having to pay out when users get hacked and the scammers use the cc to buy bitcoin which cant be charged back.

1613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Paypal on: February 03, 2018, 09:35:16 PM
Obviously the majority of us will say Bitcoin. However they are really two different things. Ive been banned from Paypal so I have no choice but to say Bitcoin, even though I would have said it :p
1614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS : Bank of America and JP Morgan Are banning CC purchases on: February 03, 2018, 09:20:37 PM
It's a good move. Too many people lost money they didn't have by speculating on Bitcoin in the last gold rush.

So you're supporting the babysitting policy. People can't handle their money, lets limit their options so they can be happy and never gain or lose anything. Mediocre, balanced society where there are no rich or poor but everyone has exactly the same is what we're aiming at, right?
People are irresponsible, let's be responsible for them, let's take their money and decide for them.

It's another proof that your money don't actually belong to you and that you should avoid banks at all cost. What next? They will monitor your CC purchases and block you from making "bad" decisions? Too much alcohol in your diet - transaction denied, buy another drink instead! Cigarettes? That's a big nono, transaction denied!

I do think people should be responsible with their money to some degree. We need better awareness with cryptocurrency, and actual sites that will educate the youth. ( This is just a humanity awareness )  However with Credit Cards, banks dont care if people mismanage personally. They care when someone gets hacked and then buys $1k, $2k (whatever it may be ) worth of cryptocurrency and they have to back it up. Although if someone buys what they can not afford it will hurt the bank as well. Which is why they will let debit cards continue. If you wanna buy $1k of bitcoin but really cant afford it, as long as you have the $1k available then you can buy it.
1615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: expect price stability on: February 03, 2018, 06:49:12 PM
"price stability in cryptocurrency" I dont think I have ever seen that before.
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: OmiseGO on: February 03, 2018, 06:45:21 PM
Just to check I wasn't being unfair because I do understand people can be swayed by negative or positive feedback I checked twitter and they have a hire advert which is how I recommended other devs and I scrolled down a fair way to find no replies to any interested candidates...it's a definite big red flag.

They have posted on Glassdoor before, and hired more people after the ICO. They dont have to be hiring all the time. If you are a good developer or a valuable asset, you can simply contact them and they could hire you that way. The just dont have a "hire me" button right now. I dont see it as a big deal, but maybe down the road it will be.
