If you got tokens for free, you might as well hold them and not sell them until they reach a substantial amount.

invest in cryptocurrency if you believe that the underlying blockchain technology will disrupt industries like the Internet has and eventually be adopted by the mainstream.
Blockchain and currency are different though. Lots of people that say they hate bitcoin, don't necessarily hate blockchain.

Choose some shitcoins and don't touch them for a year and probably you will suceed in making -1x ))) You are definitely a fan of Bitconnect, hold them till the end!
Do you have any other suggestions, in the top 100. I would be surprised if Bitconnect is still around in the top 100.

Verge is certainly not the best "privacy" coin. I would go with Moreno, Zcash. Dcred seems interesting too

Everyone has been pretty on the ball, if you sent it and its "unconfirmed" then the best thing would be it double spending.

So many misconceptions in this thread.
I understand you can go under regulation using coins/tokens etc, however, I am wondering why people are in need of a decentralized game. Pokerstars is huge, and people love it. SO why would people switch from it to a decentralized platform?
Tokens are basically worthless, so if a poker platform has an ico then it is essentially worthless. Why not make a decentralized platform that accepts ethereum directly?
The main advantage is that these blockchains are provably fair, which isn't a big deal in my eyes. Regulated sites work just fine in this aspect, and they pay out just fine. So what would the actual advantages be?

Watching this thread, I would be interested in investing in something like this, if it exists.
That being said, do you know any good crypto poker sites with microstakes tables, e.g $0.01/0.02. Looking to try my hand, but not looking to go bankrupt against the HUDS.
I think poker tokens are a terrible investment. I would recommend regulated sites only. I see, so you were creating this thread to prove that poker tokens tend to fail, as very few, if any have surpassed a $100k market cap? Either way, still interested in any micro-stakes poker sites that accept crypto if you know any No I am wondering if people know any that have raised $100k+ so I can look into them. The ones that I have seen raise money are all the same and aren't actually technically feasible yet. Right now they really are a fail.

And still verge bah holders will find a reason to not sell. RIP

they made some altcoin or tokens just to pump and dump it and make money, they didn't really make a token (eg pokercoin) to solve any problem that didn't even exist. that is why they are useless in nature and that is why the websites that are created for these are looking worse because the people who make these things put the least amount of thought in them to increase their efficiency. it has been like a factory creating something and that thing is new ICOs, they spend least amount of time, put the least amount of effort in and make as many tokens as possible to maximize the amount of money they get from gullible people.
I totally agree, and the whole idea of having "encrypted whole cards that are verified by the users" seems unreal.

Why is it beneficial to use a token to gamble, when it doesn't have high liquidity, and very violent. No one playing poker wants to take on speculation of the sites coin while playing in a tournament.
I understand playing poker or gambling using bitcoin. But why are people playing poker using (ex: Pokercoin )
What makes blockchains better? Provably fair, guaranteed payouts ( which already happen on any major site )
These blockchain sites look worse as well.

Can anyone list some poker cryptocurrency tokens that have had ICO's that have raised $100k+ and are listed on coinmarkecap.
