1821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding how to properly evaluate coins/tokens on: January 19, 2018, 05:07:31 PM
Thanks for the link Tim, I have added it to a list of things to
check out later. Before I get into any sort of crpyto token
or coin I try a get a picture on what it is about, what the
project aims to achieve.

It is easy to get misled in search of information, there are
a lot of youtubers promoting particular crypto ICO's,tokens and
services and benefiting from that which is fine but promoting
scam tokens and sites while benefiting is not ok with me.

Generally speaking if anyone is "pumping" a particular token
or service with a referral link I dont follow, and in my book
anything else that person promotes isnt worth investigating.

But thanks for the link, i will view it later and edit my post here  Wink

Thanks I appreciate the kind post. Yes this is a HUGE problem on YouTube right now which is why I created my non biased channel. It is hard to find people that are not promoting shitty products/coins and sometimes it can be hard to even tell if they are being paid etc. Misleading information really hurts the community and new comers *cough bitconnect youtube promoters*

This is also a good practice, if someone is just promoting, they are a marketer not a cryptocurrency enthusiast.

I do heard about the coin discussed in the groups.
Will dig more. Thanks for the info.

No problem, Enjoy it Smiley
1823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and anonymity on: January 18, 2018, 03:35:02 PM
That’s bad news for people hoping to keep their Bitcoin purchases anonymous. But even when the exact transaction is kept hidden, it is still possible to make the link when the leak includes the amount and time of the purchase.

This is true which is why mixers are in place to try and jam this. I think for most this limited anonymous transaction is fine.
1824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: January 18, 2018, 03:32:57 PM
They're chasing McDonald. After all, they can not stay behind. The problem is that transaction fees will be more expensive than food.

Mcdonald doesnt accept bitcoin, and I dont think they even accept OMG if that is what you are thinking.
1825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding how to properly evaluate coins/tokens on: January 18, 2018, 03:32:22 PM
A coin must have clear fundamentals and have a clear value proposition. Does it solve any of the fundamental problems that current crypocurrencies face? If no, then no matter how high it goes, it will all be due a marketing/hype-job whose will be short lived and will leave everyone that doesn't dump on time bankrupt. This describes 99% of altcoins out there and this is the only valid analysis.

This is very true and is certainly a part of the evaluation process.
1826  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin takes HUGE dip, Regulation becomes a concern and bitconnect turns in on: January 18, 2018, 03:31:22 PM
Another red day in the market, which will allow first time investors a good way to join.
1827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market recovering? on: January 17, 2018, 06:54:59 PM
If you are going to buy in, I would buy at increments. If you are a first time investor it could be a good idea to buy in. If you are not, then I would wait for it to drop some more, the only reason you should buy in now would be to get your position lower but if you bought at the top then you aren't investing smart.
1828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: January 17, 2018, 06:53:38 PM
Do you guys think this is going to be huge for cryptocurrency or just a KFC marketing scheme?
I think it is. This is additional sales for them aside from the present costumers they have paying in fiat, i believe they know there are a lot of people holding crypto currencies and they may have thought it could mean additional sales if they include bitcoin in their payment forms since transactions are not too difficult for online orders.

So do you think these bitcoin holders dont have fiat? You can still use fiat, and is cheaper than using bitcoin as of right now with the current transaction problem. Which is a fault that bitcoin needs to face. So in reality they are just trying to jump on the train of "BITCOIN". There is no benefit to using bitcoin to buy KFC right now. Yes of course there are benefits of cryptocurrency, but with the current state of bitcoin there is not added value to buying KFC considering they dont offer discounts, so the transaction fees will kill you.
1829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is on super sale? on: January 17, 2018, 06:50:24 PM
TRON, it's about to explode now that the FUD has been cleared. If you are lucky you might still get a buy-in at $0.05!

I have a hard time believing Tron will ever make a comeback.
1830  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto Currency Youtubers on: January 17, 2018, 06:41:47 PM
can you tell me good youtubers.

Well you came to a good thread to find a YouTube channel that is unbiased.

New video will be released tonight, where I will share some trading strategies and my personal portfolio.
1831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually understand Ethereum? on: January 17, 2018, 04:22:48 PM
Ethereum is actually one of the most usefull projects. It is more than just a cryptocurrency. Bitcoin and most altcoins only function as cryptocurrencies. Ethereum's team describes it as the worlds smart computer. It has smart contracts and many other tokens are also based on Ethereum's platform.

It has so many uses.

You can perform credible transactions without any third party. You can create complex platforms and systems on top of Ethereum.

I agree, I am biased however though since I am extremely bullish on it. In 5 years, it will seem obvious to people that Ethereum was going to be successful. 2018 is going to be a powerhouse.
1832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: January 17, 2018, 04:22:05 PM
Do average person who prefers KFC knows about btc..

You can still buy KFC with fiat, and only use bitcoin online for a limited amount of time. Which makes me think it is just a marketing scheme.
1833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding how to properly evaluate coins/tokens on: January 17, 2018, 04:20:36 PM
Nice article man, It is a very hard topic to talk about as I believe there are not many metrics that can decide an actual precise value of a coin before it has hit the market.

Best way is to see it go on the exchange and see how it fairs.

Thanks I appreciate it Smiley If you have a Medium account dont forget to clap it. If you have any questions you can always PM me.

Excellent work bro. I admire such people who are ready to share their precious experience and knowledge with the whole world. Continue in the same spirit, develop your blog.

1836  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some people in the market control it? on: January 17, 2018, 04:38:20 AM
If someone owns a lot of bitcoin then yes they could manipulate the price. The twins have the most if I am not mistaken ( 1m coins ) so when the cap is reached they will have almost 5% which is sort of scary to think about.
1837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitconnect, which has been accused of running a Ponzi scheme, shuts down on: January 17, 2018, 04:36:41 AM
They are literally a ponzi scheme and I cant believe people actually fell for this. Extremely sad, I covered the story breifly in my YouTube video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE3IhsSrAOg&t=0s
1838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and anonymity on: January 17, 2018, 04:33:24 AM
As more people are getting into the space I think it is helpful to really understand bitcoin from a basic form. Let me know what you guys think.
1839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pokercoin.net – The Future of Poker! on: January 17, 2018, 04:24:18 AM
Why does a token need to exist, why cant it just accept bitcoin. We already have a lot of poker sites that accept bitcoin. If cryptocurrency gets adopted pokerstars will accept it, and then this platform will be dead.
1840  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it time to buy bitcoin? on: January 17, 2018, 03:49:37 AM
It is good in the sense that it is on a down climb so you are buying it at a lower price than the top, however we could see a few days of crashing coins. No one can really tell exactly when it will end. I would buy in at increments. So if you have $1000, buy in $500 then tomorrow $300 then the next day $200. That way if we do have a few days, you will be able to continue buying in.
