1721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: January 27, 2018, 12:56:47 AM
This is very exciting news for me and greatly simplifies if my family and I eat at kfc because I can gladly make payment with bitcoin and hopefully can be another restaurant description in order to use bitcoin in making payment transactions using bitcoin.

So you are willing to pay more for KFC using bitcoin than your fiat currency?

Pretty sure that is Omise and not omisego.

1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The BEST Coins for 2018! My portfolio and MY INVESTMENT STRATEGIES on: January 26, 2018, 06:47:54 PM
My YouTube video that explains it : 2018 COIN PORTFOLIO and.... TRADING STRATEGIES

My Portfolio

42% ETH
24% OMG
10% DCR
10% WAX
12% DSH
1% XMR
1% Bitcoin

I think ethereum is a really good choice. And also I think it might be better if you increase your bitcoin percentage. In addition to these, maybe you can consider about stellar or litecoin. Good luck!

I dont personally like Bitcoin, lots of transaction problems. I will likely keep 1%. I have considered adding some litecoin to combat my bitcoin investment. I am doing more research and thinking of buying 3-6%.

1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YouTuber's using marketing schemes toward bitcoin on: January 25, 2018, 10:10:14 PM
It's normal that they'll look for opportunities. During Bitcoin surges it's extremely easy to earn a few bucks. But it's not the short term gain that matters but the long term one.
I made this mistake long ago when it was going up, I put in $1000 and got $100 in a day, withdrew immediately. I was sho happy, damn, 100$ for nothing! But it kept rising and rising I kept going in and out and eventually earned like $300 while I could have earned $1000 if I kept holding... Newbie mistake.

So do you think it would be cool to buy a course for $300 that says " buy low sell high"? That wouldnt be very helpful and that is what these youtubers are doing.

I think that the content of their videos is secondary to the fact that they are giving free BTC free advertising. You can't expect all youtubers to be smart and create videos that teach people things. Some will joke about it, some will treat it as a way to build the account for future monetizing, some will use it to scam. They know that when something is popular and googled every day by thousands of people, it can bring them views and those views will put the word bitcoin on the main page of youtube, making even more people watch it.

Bad publicity can be good. However they are just toxic in the area imo. I will not see this as good. So many better things to do, like create educational videos or opinions. This isn't good.
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitConnect Rest in peace ~ on: January 25, 2018, 05:47:23 PM
Was a pretty obvious scam. Now they have a class action lawsuit. Hopefully some people can get there money back, but when they dont hopefully they will learn a valuable lesson.
1732  Other / Meta / Re: How Do You Feel About This New System?? on: January 25, 2018, 05:45:04 PM

1734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YouTuber's using marketing schemes toward bitcoin on: January 25, 2018, 05:32:12 PM
You can't say that bitcoin hasn't already reached a lot of people already. Thing is when it will reach a lot of people and there are only 21 million what will happen? People that will have over 1 btc will be real rich.

I think you misread my post.

Youtube is the number one place for bullshitters to shill their holdings. You know they don't have as much money as they claim because they choose to put multiple ads in their videos. If they had as much money as they say, they wouldn't count on ad revenue. Also, once they post a video, a massive pump (depends on their audience) is created. It's frustrating.

Ad revenue doesnt make them non credible, unless they are just there to sell you bullshit like the guys I pointed out in my video. If you are legitimately teaching people about bitcoin and maybe actual strategies then the ad revenue can support you enough to create the free content which is cool.
1735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually understand Ethereum? on: January 25, 2018, 05:27:00 PM
Naturally, a person is just paying attention to profit. Sometimes do not pay attention to risks and what is used as material for investment. Without studying and getting to know more about the investment.

This is why so many people end up losing money. Someone needs to lose money for us to make money.
1736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: January 25, 2018, 05:26:09 PM
That is a really good new, next time I go there with my friends I will pay in Bitcoins.

1737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The BEST Coins for 2018! My portfolio and MY INVESTMENT STRATEGIES on: January 25, 2018, 05:24:39 PM
Thanks for your job. I agree with you in the most part. But I'm going to have a bit more Bitcoins in my portfolio. BTC still is very promising.

No problem with having more BTC, I just dont like the far future of it.

1739  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto Currency Youtubers on: January 25, 2018, 01:53:27 AM
This is so great! Crypto currency Youtubers? Truly, ICOs have successfully opened lots of opportunities for many people not just by buying and selling coins but also through stuff like these. Well, this kind of advertisement is very effective, I think so. Youtubers just have to be careful in the contentof their videos. ALso, I suggest that you should always start from introducing a coin and how to mine it and the process and more. Meaning videos must start from introduction to project developments.

Thanks for the suggestion Smiley I will certainly add that to my list, and I hope you enjoy my videos.
1740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you shouldnt be shorting on: January 25, 2018, 01:52:42 AM
If you dont understand marginal trading, check out my Medium Post: Understanding Marginal Trading.

I see a lot of people are interested in shorting, however I would advise against it. The market is acting irrational, and people are investing in obvious "shit coins". Shorting a coin that you think is over evaluated is not a good idea, because it can continue to be over evaluated, tons of people are investing in awful coins that have NO utility. So even if you are right, you are playing a dangerous game and when you factor in risk management it likely isn't a good idea. Thoughts?

Firstly marginal trading is already a very risky thing to do and i agree that every minute the BTC market can behave either up or down..... but i will suggest that if you want to short, do your homework well before you want to execute any move.

Yes of course Smiley I am going to wait a long time though before I marginal trade. The market needs to calm down a bit.
