1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: OmiseGO on: January 25, 2018, 01:51:56 AM
Hello! I heard that OmiseGO signed a contract with McDonald's. Has anyone heard of this? If someone has information, please send the source. This news is very interesting, if so, then I will invest in a large one!

lol, i think thats like 6 month old info

Pretty sure that is Omise and not omisego.
1742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and anonymity on: January 25, 2018, 01:51:31 AM
I like anonymity but I know anonymity is not possible no matter how hard you try. There is only more or less anonymity.

Keeping yourself hidden online is very hard. I agree to some extent.
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually understand Ethereum? on: January 25, 2018, 01:50:55 AM
It sounds logic to read a lot of information before buying Ethereum. However, I don't have time to read everything, it is too much, so I just follow the market. You know what they say: the market is always right.

However if you just follow the market, you wont really have a good understanding of why things are the way that they are. Better to research, and less risky if you do. However if you just wanna dive into cryptocurrency and assume the most risk generally, then that is okay as well.
1744  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin takes HUGE dip, Regulation becomes a concern and bitconnect turns in on: January 25, 2018, 01:48:58 AM
2018 has been predicted to be good for the growth of bitcoin as well other altcoins. In reality nothing good has happened yet, only thing that has been taking place is red day. Quite often we can see the entire market getting indicated in red, another thing is that the fall too seems to be drastic which users haven't experienced in the past year.

We will certainly see a lot of ICO's that were funded fail in 2018-2019. I am just hoping more projects with actual utility will appear.

ICO's haven't gone crazy yet.. it was getting there but then the smackdowns.   If it is allowed to go full retard then bitcoin hits a few new moons

They have gone crazy in the sense that you can get $100m in funding without having a product.
1745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YouTuber's using marketing schemes toward bitcoin on: January 24, 2018, 09:39:19 PM
It's normal that they'll look for opportunities. During Bitcoin surges it's extremely easy to earn a few bucks. But it's not the short term gain that matters but the long term one.
I made this mistake long ago when it was going up, I put in $1000 and got $100 in a day, withdrew immediately. I was sho happy, damn, 100$ for nothing! But it kept rising and rising I kept going in and out and eventually earned like $300 while I could have earned $1000 if I kept holding... Newbie mistake.

So do you think it would be cool to buy a course for $300 that says " buy low sell high"? That wouldnt be very helpful and that is what these youtubers are doing.

You talk like this is something new. I'm sure at least 90% of content on youtube is created as a marketing scheme one way or another.

Correct, but were in cryptocurrency so it hits closer to home if you understand.

Youtube right now is really exaggerated when it comes to their ads and most of the videos on youtube are really shitlike when it comes to cryptocurrencies. Most of them are just really promoting their hyip token or coins just to gain attention from the mass and the newbies in the crypto world.

Which I think is not very helpful to the community of people that actually wanna learn.

I am very supportive of their scheme, by giving bitcoin and introducing bitcoin to the public, so that everyone can know how to use bitcoin to the public, and certainly every country has on youtuber's in all fields ..

This doesnt help bring more people into the space. It clogs them with misconceptions and will end up hurting the market.

1747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YouTuber's using marketing schemes toward bitcoin on: January 24, 2018, 06:47:38 PM
Scammers are everywhere and that is sad to say, schemes, fraud and fakes videos are also scattered in YouTube channel, so be careful in what to believe into.

When I was student also I used to search cooking video in YouTube especially baking, then I figure out that some video are made just for fun, some are real and most of them are fabricated.

When it come to business venture or related activities like bitcoin, or any bitcoin programs you have to check their background, vision, who are the persons involved, any achievement? History background in order to be sure, before joining them....

This is true, but some of these YouTubers have 100k followers and get 50k views+ per video so they seem credible to newcomers.

Tim, I'm glad that people are beginning to realize the barrage of junk cryptocurrency videos flooding youtube it's really quite annoying, especially those videos that have to do with lending coins. They pretend to send free bitcoin's to some random address in a bid to garrner followers and promote their product.

Thanks Smiley

<snip>
You have the right idea, don't get me wrong, there's absolutely nothing wrong with what you've done and I applaud the work you put into it (despite my brief amount of time watching it). There should be more people like you, and being the change you want to see is great, but your videos likely won't get exposed as much because you're just saying that they won't be able to do something and make money. People are stupid, they want to make money easily and they're going full-retard about it in most cases. It's not like I'm trying to say your efforts don't matter, but there is a specific kind of person who would watch your videos, and it's likely not the people you're trying to reach.

I certainly dont think many will watch it, but if 1 person sees it and doesnt buy the guide then I did my job.

indeed a lot of ways to make money in the online world one of them with vidio you tube, it never hurts us to do it to earn money, and that's a very good idea.

Its a bad way to make money if you sell someone complete crap. It is different if these courses had value, but they dont.
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you shouldnt be shorting on: January 24, 2018, 05:21:17 PM
The only coin I've ever got burned on shorting is ETH and that's because that market is completely irrational even compared to alts in general! Smiley

I certainly wouldn't short ETH. Think about a coin like Bitconnect, I wouldnt even recommend shorting it because look how long it took for people to actually figure out it was a scam and for it to crash. The market is insane right now.
1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: OmiseGO on: January 24, 2018, 05:19:55 PM
OMG has a good development stage in recent years thanks to the specific and precise development strategies of its leadership team. The market is going down pretty deep but OmiseGO is still pretty firm in this market when its value does not fall too much. In the next few months, OmiseGO will definitely grow as the market starts to recover and get more attention from the community and investors returning to the cryptocurrency market.
In spring, with the advent of capitalization, we will see a price of 80-100 dollars for OmiseGO

Well I sure hope we can reach that evaluation :p
1750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and anonymity on: January 24, 2018, 05:19:31 PM
I am sure that privacy will disappear very soon, there will be privacy in coins but you will not be able to deposit or withdraw from exchangers without identity verification.

This is what I am thinking as well.
1751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually understand Ethereum? on: January 24, 2018, 05:19:06 PM
I don't think I know much about ETH, and I don't even know how the ETH's smart contract is used, but I know that it's a bull market and that investing in ETH can make me profitable.
me either. For Ethereum professional technology I do not understand. Because that involves a field. And understand it very difficult. I think I know that Ethereum is enough. No need to learn the same professional stuff as a scholar.

There is never a greater time to understand it than now Smiley If you click the link in the OP you will find a Medium Post I wrote discussing Ethereum.
1752  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto Currency Youtubers on: January 24, 2018, 05:15:18 PM

This will be a good one, make sure to check it out!

How to save THOUSANDS by not investing in these marketing schemes
1753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YouTuber's using marketing schemes toward bitcoin on: January 24, 2018, 05:58:58 AM
Well, it is good to see someone who has the desire to balance the scale. We all know that any medium in the internet can be used for marketing strategies and even here in this forum we are always seeing advertisements and personal endorsements...these are the things we should learn to live up and this strategy will never go away as even the big sites are banking on ads as their main bread and butter. There will always be hypes...that is just part of the marketing technique making things excited and sellable. Now, having said these things, it is always imperative for anyone to do his own research of as they say DYOR -- do your own research -- and then decide based on the merits you think can be taken seriously. We have to learn to separate the grain from the chaff, as they are saying.

There is a difference between marketing a product or service that actually has value. There is no way these "make 100k a day" videos advertising a service actually are trying to be benefit the customer. I think it is very harmful to the cryptocurrency community sense they are targeting new members who may not have better judgement. Hopefully my video will bring some of this to light because it seems these people have a full steam ahead.
1754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / YouTuber's using marketing schemes toward bitcoin on: January 24, 2018, 05:31:15 AM
I am tired of seeing YouTuber's with "How to make $1000 with bitcoin in 10 seconds" so I created a video discussing some of the famous "experts" on YouTube.

Many YouTube cryptocurrency "experts" will try and sell you products using marketing tactics. With these huge subscriber platforms, comes great responsibility and so I am here to point out some obvious tactics!

YouTube Video: How to save THOUSANDS by not investing in these marketing schemes

My editing was poor but I think you will find the video entertaining if not informational!

What do you guys think about these YouTubers discussing bitcoin strategies? Crypto Oracle, Ryan Hildreth, and JR business.
1755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually understand Ethereum? on: January 24, 2018, 04:59:23 AM
Honestly i know their concepts and technology roughly and how its network could potentially impact the cryptocurrency industry, still technically how really solidity works and executing those contract are yet too much for me. I might just evaluating Ethereum based on its current usability, popularity on the market, maybe that's sufficient for just a simple trader.

That is certainly not a bad tactic, but the more you look into it the more it becomes fascinating and easier to evaluate.
1756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: January 24, 2018, 04:57:48 AM
What about the transaction charges and time to get even 1 confirmation, either all double spenders should attack KFC now or people are really dumb using bitcoin for food.  Sad

Right now it cant be a regular currency, still lots of things has to be evolved.

The money has to be sent through bitpay, so it wont confirm until it has at least 3.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding how to properly evaluate coins/tokens on: January 24, 2018, 04:57:07 AM
A must read for those beginners who wants to start investing in an ICO or a particular coin it is indeed that proper knowledge is important in evaluating a coin or token because I'm pretty sure many here depends their investment on how other people decide and only copied majority of investors without even knowing what's really behind that thing.

Thanks man! Smiley
1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The BEST Coins for 2018! My portfolio and MY INVESTMENT STRATEGIES on: January 24, 2018, 04:55:57 AM
I love this thread, you show people the way to get in crypto market!
1 vote for you! Good job bro!

Thanks man Smiley

His coins is not that good, the price of which he will get to be able to cash the money out make come or it might not. That's too much risk for the average trader.

Not sure what you are even trying to say, but you do know that " be able to cash the money out might come or it might not" is for every single coin and investment right?

My Portfolio in 2018:
XRP:80%
ETH:10%
XLM:10%

I dont personally like XRP, but good luck with it Smiley
1759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees are killing/have killed Bitcoin.... it is sad but true. on: January 23, 2018, 08:17:10 PM
This has been a problem with bitcoin for awhile, but I dont think it will be a sole reason it will fail.
