I suspect that every month, thousands of people are switching over to cryptocurrency as a better alternative.

I don't think all shorting is bad. It depends on what you are holding. If you know clearly that the coin will go down quickly, you'd better dump it in a short term. So it all deoends.
Of course it depends on the exact situation, but in cryptocurrency even if you are profiting you are making a mistake. Kinda like how people read charts and make triangles, 20% that is likely skill while the other 80% is bs.
Hey, OP!
Thanks for sharing. It was a very interesting article.
Thanks I appreciate it If you have a medium account make sure to follow, or bookmark my articles for more! Holding those coins which can be dumped is not a best option, shorting of coins that don't have community support is best.
Which is why you should only be buying good coins, and make intelligent investments. You dont have to "hodl" which isnt even a good strategy. However you can hold it until something changes in the news, market, road map etc that would lead you to believe in a drop.

I liked omg but i invested in a new project similar to omg, im talking about everex, im sure it will follow the footpaths of omg.
Interesting, I have not heard of it but will look into it. Always good to have competition in the space.

Over the past few years, I have been following the development of the coin from the etherum, and I think that the coin from the etherum is very good and deserves to be a coin in a crypto currency that has a high price.
It is amazing to follow the development because it actually feels like you are apart of the team.

"With my luck, I'll be stuck in the drive thru behind the guy paying with BTC and waiting 10+ mins for the confirmation. :/ "
It is only online right now, so you would have to buy the chicken using bitpay and then have the chicken sent directly to you.
In essence if you have the bitpay debit card you can buy anything with bitcoin, so this doesnt really change anything.

KFC accepting Bitcoin is massive news as this will also increase the demand of Bitcoin and also widening the acceptance base. This piece of news is cheering to the bitcoin community.
Why do you think it will increase the demand of bitcoin? It is only regional, and not an effective way to purchase the actual food. Check out my video in the OP for more information.

Do you guys think this is going to be huge for cryptocurrency or just a KFC marketing scheme?

Great job, buddy. I am evaluating mine, but I see so many lazy people that just jump from telegram group to telegram group where another lazy people give their superficial suggestions. Such a waste of time.
Thanks, and yes I agree. A lot of people dont want to put in the work and then end up losing money and get upset. If you put in 5 hours of work with $1k in crypto, you could make 10k and then that 5 hours of work is now $1.8k an hour :p (Granted 10x is not guaranteed, just a fun little example )

I have been seeing more and more ICOs implement KYC. This is a good step in the right direction and I hope we see more and more steps!

I'm in OMG for the long term. But it's also a good mid-term investment right now, as 2018 has some great steps on the roadmap.
I love the future for OMG in 2018, I will be very surprised to see it. omg needs just plasma release date to be announced and will explode with at least 5x price in few days. and I expect this happening very very soon
Lol "at least 5x". I dont think you can speculate it being a 5X, however I think it will certainly be very good if the implementation goes well. A pretty good coin for including it in the portfolio, is being actively developed and has a good interest, so the price increase should not make you wait. I would have believed in this coin and left it for a long time.
I am glad that I decided to pull the trigger on the buy Is it already late to invest in OMG or it will grow more? I have a very hard FOMO about a lot of coins:(
I believe it will grow more personally, so I dont think it is too late. However you should do a lot of research yourself if you decide to invest. My Medium thread in the OP is a good place to start if you dont know much about the project.

To some extent I could understand as well realize the market of ethereum as well other digital currencies. Mostly I try to understand better about these through the speculations that gets circulated around, bases on which predictions on the price moves of markets were done.
I try and stay away at looking at prices, as they usually end in someone upset. You shouldn't sole your investment on plain speculations that come around. Formulating your own opinions is certainly a lot better and will leave you more comfortable.

I would take a close look at OMG and ADEX in Q1-Q2 of 2018. ( Not investing advice just an opinion. )

The financial aspect of it is surely the most popular thing driving it today. I am not worried with making fiat money, I am more interested in actually being able to use the coins. Really loving that states are trying to make signature smart contracts legal.

Just like making fiat money. Take surveys, invest, accept it for products/services etc

Tron doesnt look that good to me, and I would say ETC is the worst. Or bcash or bitcoingold.
Sad that it is still a coin in the billions, but bitconnect is actually the worst.

The market is so irrational anything can really happen. (Huge supporter of Ethereum )

I wrote a full article on how to evaluate coins/tokens: The Right Way to Evaluate a Cryptocurrency*If you enjoyed this, dont forget to give it a clap! How many of you actually take the time to evaluate coins you invest in? Or do you simply look at an "expert" and follow calls? I think the most important thing to do is to follow the questions in the Medium posts in order to accurately give the coin an evaluation. Thoughts?

Buying based on someone else's speculation. Not a good idea

Check out my "How to evaluate cryptocurrencies" video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLwHkIKhddw&t=0s You can find coins by going to any popular ICO tracker site, or just scroll through Coinmarketcap. ( Research the coin, dont just look at its price )
