1422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: OmiseGO on: March 23, 2018, 02:14:05 AM
I am holding some OMG for the long-term though not following the updates closely. The team and project are solid so have no worries.

If I am not mistaken the funds will be released to the developers in June. If this is correct then you will certainly want to make note of this.

I guess an announcement is to be made next weekend.

1424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The BEST Coins for 2018! My portfolio and MY INVESTMENT STRATEGIES on: March 21, 2018, 03:47:10 PM
IXT is targeting the huge market of insurance and reinsurance. Development is proceeding smoothly, and MVP (Minimum Viable Product) has already been completed.
As an insurance-related token that can be bought and sold, IXT is a step out, and I believe it will enter TOP 30 in the market capitalization rankings in a few years.
Current market capitalization is obviously cheap and it is not amusing to list it 50 times or more than 100 times.
IXledger, which is developing IXT, has collaborated with General Re, the main company of Berkshire Hathaway.
The headquarters of the company is located in London, the center of the global insurance market, and has expanded its offices to New York and Singapore.
On Asian tour of the other day, iXledger and Samsung have ageded to organize a series of blockchain events with the MIT Enterprise Forum of New York at the Samsung offices.
IXT is listed on Hitbtc, Qryptos, Yobit.

I have only IXT!!!

Lets stop with the shilling.
1425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: March 21, 2018, 03:46:17 PM
Even mcdo accept bitcoin and for now it's a bitcoin that many people already know.
So they know it and they will enter it in these ways to speed up their transactions.

Mcdonalds doesnt accept bitcoin, at least not that I know of.

1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding how to properly evaluate coins/tokens on: March 19, 2018, 02:53:39 AM
Thank you for your useful article. I'm looking into whitepapers of some ICOs and found out that there's much to understand an ICOs, about the dev team, company's location, company's reliability, their policies, how they introduce their own coin,... Evaluating coins is not easy, not through statistics on coinmarketcap only Huh

You can't find everything you just described on coinmarketcap so yeah it is hard.

1429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking News: Tether , a problem or just FUD... on: March 19, 2018, 02:52:33 AM
as soon as you receive the first profit, you will always learn more and in the end you will get a lot of experience

I am not sure what you are trying to say here in relation to my thread.
1430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS : Bank of America and JP Morgan Are banning CC purchases on: March 19, 2018, 02:52:03 AM
Is anyone concerned about this?

This is definitely a good move that is going to address security concerns with respect to stolen credit cards. In the case of stolen CC's being used to buy anonymous tokens like Monero, Dash or Verge, it would become almost impossible to track. Would like to see the other side of this move as well as we will be witnessing people who buy cryptos with CC complaining about the move as a setback.

Yeah I certainly dont see it as being a bad thing.
1431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHICH COIN WILL MAKE ME POOR, LOOKING FOR -1X! on: March 19, 2018, 02:51:28 AM
Some coins in my portfolio have fallen in price by 90 percent, but I try to be calm. I believe that these coins will grow again. They will not make me poor, because I will sell them in a few months. I'm patient, veeeeeeryyyyy patient)))

I am not sure what you have invested in, but most coins have dropped from their ATH.
1432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Twitter Scammers on: March 19, 2018, 02:50:50 AM
"send .02 BTC and get triple"

I think anyone who says things like that shouldn't be taken seriously... Doesn't matter if they have the "blue verification" or not, it's not real... Maybe that is a new niche people have found to make profit, to sell verified accounts to scammers. But come on, it's very easy to avoid such scammers, just don't send money to them and you will be fine, ignore these offers or report to Twitter.

There are more sofisticated scams on the internet and about those you really need to take extra precautions.

Not everyone is able to see the obv scam.
1433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here lives on crypto currency daily? on: March 19, 2018, 02:49:55 AM
I don't spend my bitcoin because I earn on it and use as investment in long-term trading. But if I traveled and would know exactly what is in the cities where I'll be, it will be possible to pay with cryptocurrency, I would do so.

Some places would make you pay taxes on purchases, but that is similar to me.
1434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually understand Ethereum? on: March 19, 2018, 02:48:23 AM
If you dont understand Ethereum, check out my free article Ethereum 101

Most people really dont understand Ethereum, which is going to be damaging to the market. I have heard friends and have seen posts even on here with people who are investing that dont even understand smart contracts, proof of stake etc

Did you know their are 2 Casper's?

When you invest in a coin, how much time do you spend researching it? I normally spend at least 3 hours learning everything I can from it before I attempt to make an investment of even $1. It is important to understand the coin from a general level, and if you can understand it from a technical level that is even better.
I think it is hard for me to do that. I only spend severl hours to make the research but I will make a change in the near future.

Well I wish you the best of luck, and if you check some of my threads I am sure you will find other helpful.

1437  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Boycott Coinmarketcap - allowing ponzi to advertise on: March 18, 2018, 04:05:26 PM
I have made a few threads about this, really annoying to see. I have not been using them at all since I am really only focused on a few coins.
1438  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Signature Advertisement Blindness on: March 18, 2018, 04:04:06 PM
Unless I misclick I don't click on any. I haven't actually seen any that give me any benefit rather than complete shills. I have advertised a few in my signature that has done very well, but they weren't ICO or coins. Cryptocurrency projects do very well in signature campaigns if a user can tell right away it might add value to them, regardless of the price.

1440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to deal with Crypto ads being banned on social media? on: March 18, 2018, 03:48:03 PM
Most coins that are good, you hear about by being in the cryptocurrency community. Not by flashy ads so I don't see this being a huge problem. It's nice to have advertisements because it does bring people into cryptocurrency, however, when people invest in scam coins it doesn't really help anything.
