Do we have any new pictures of the SP30 progress?

I don't think there will be new pictures. I don't know what else can we see since we saw it all except for the chips and chips on boards.

Waiting is always hard.

Roadstress,   <- (always address members in this manner as to not cause confusion. )

Please be more specific. Your question is just to broad. That's like asking Acer how many pieces of computer hardware they built and shipped. (Notice the name drop, and analogy)

We have built and shipped over 8 different models of miners to this date. With 8 different speeds from 80ghs and to 2400ghs, using three different ASIC's. Roadstress please be more specific.

When you received your first order ? When was your first order supposed to be shipped to the customer?

When you received your last order? When was your last order supposed to be shipped to the customer?

Somewhere in the beginning of October. Shipped within 4-6 weeks.
Last order via AMT was in the beginning of April. Shipped within 4 weeks.

What was the advertised hashrate and power consumption for your miners and what was the shipped hashrate and power consumption for the same miners? All of them since you said that you had 8 different speeds.

WEll, everyone have fun with their overpriced 20nm miners, i donīt think you will ever make it to ROI city.

The only one getting anything out of this is KNC, as they can now deploy 20nm on a large scale in their Data Center.

They will probably set up the chips at a lower clock speed and higher efficiency there, as i donīt really think that they have managed to build SUCH a shitty design on 20nm that it only gets 0.7W//GH.

If they had, well it is purely a waste of Silicon.

I bet Bitfury is laughing at them right now from atop of his mountain of 55nm miners on 0.78W/GH and 1/5th of the NRE.

Yup. Free mask set and better chips with better power consumption and better density for them at the cost of the customers. Great play KnC!

I hope they go down same as Avalon and BFL!

Misinformation at it's best. I count:

- 1x rPi power cable;
- 5x USB cables;
- 1x LAN cable;
- 4x power cables;
- 1x PSU cable

That makes it 12 cables. Only double than your stated 6 cables. Ok.

I did miscount (forgot psu/pi cables)

But some of those cables you just can't do without like the 4 pcie cables(could probably do with 2), psu cable, rPi power cable, and at least one cable from the controller to the miner. So there are really only 5 extra cables vs a single board miner.

Regardless you are the only one who cares about the extra cables.

It's the same as you were the only one that cared about SP-Tech Group Buys.
2326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 20, 2014, 07:59:48 AM

The act of inserting/removing cable connectors into ports degrades connection surfaces every time it’s done and should be minimized.

I have seen it all now...

5 mins to set it up

Wow 5 whole minutes?

Did you also notice that the 450GH machine is running at 500GH at about 1w/gh?

Yes whole 5 minutes because there are 100 cables. Good luck stacking them!

5 mins to set it up, 0 stackability, LOTS of wires aka spaghetti monster. Good luck with sales!

Are my posts bring deleted here? Because on the "sister" board usuing mch better software doesn't allow it and I see my posts there. Any time I talk about price and make sense about it, the post disappears.

Maybe mods delete offtopic posts?

This forum, in no way represents our clients, most don't have time to sit and read a thread filled with crap. And even when trying to steer the conversation to a potentially insightful or helpful approach it becomes ineffective, because the trolls go to work. So only if stays at a level of just crap, do trolls feel satisfied and ultimately keep their comments to themselves. Notice the trends if you read through it all or have the time.

Then why did you start advertising yourself here? I bet that most of your customers are from this forum.

To most of these trolls its just a game "war games" and what nut, and they don't care how it effects real people, their lives, businesses or clients.

Please answer a simple question: When were you supposed to deliver miners to your customers and at speed and power consumption have you promised for your miners?

AMT started writing here because it seemed appropriate to have some sort of presence at the time. It was a major mistake to do so.

Clients delivery dates changed based on the date of the order, or product ordered. Circumstances like this thread and trolls like yourself, ultimately indirectly assisted in some of our delays, other delays were cause by poor sourcing and just good old fashion trusting the wrong people.

Most of our clients did not come from this forum, we can tell you that for sure. That's why if you look on that list which was created with our clients orders numbers, you wont see to many to begin with.  This forum helped to steer clients away from our company, and distract our company by having to justify ourselves to trolls like yourself.  But that was the point all along, at least from a trolling perspective.

Why hasn't AMT stopped writing here when it became unappropriated inappropriate to have a presence here?

Forum trolls have caused some delays? Please explain how is that possible.

You still haven't answered to my question. Have you shipped all orders up to date? When was the first promised shipping date?

I think SP knew that the $5100 price for September was way too high but they chose to milk their customers for what they could get.

AM did the same last year with their overpriced blades. They screwed their first customers very bad with their aggressive discounts on the future batches. People haven't forgot about their marketing with the so called "auction" for the blades. Move along!
2334  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Spondoolies-Tech SP30 - Specs: 6TH/s + 0.46W/GH on: June 20, 2014, 04:53:57 AM
Yes but the question is why? Normally group buys have cost savings associated with them. This doesn't.

Buying more units opposed to buying just a couple always gets you a lower price anywhere you shop. People will still have to pay for shipping probably so the discount will come only from buying more units. AM offers the same deal to customers who buy in bulk.

Quote
Of course because there are some cost savings. Shipping a pallet or two is much cheaper than 100 individual boxes. You shouldn't get an outrageous discount like 50% off for bulk buys since this is a preorder and it's not like they are trying to get rid of stock.

You know it better since AM is shipping big overweight spaghetti monsters.
2335  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: June 20, 2014, 04:08:44 AM
Haven't read AMT thread in a long time since the previous one was closed, thought not to ask in here but after 2 month of mailing & calling and yet to get any replies... here is the last place i can go... So did anyone receive their miners yet? When was it ya? Can i know your order number so i can know that it's still operating... mine was #1433

AMT, y u ignore my question...

Because he is busy trolling and drinking RedBull...
2336  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Spondoolies-Tech SP30 - Specs: 6TH/s + 0.46W/GH on: June 20, 2014, 04:07:58 AM

This thead seems a little bit strange...

@ROADSTRESS why you don't have this guy's "advantages", since you're running SP-Tech GBs from quite a long time??

Cheers!
-akw-

What is the difference between me and OP? None I say. Except maybe that OP really wants a cheaper SP30 and he is doing everything that he can to get one.

@Bicknellski jimmothy is always trying to find something to cry about SP-Tech and I get it. He has nothing else to do while he waits for his non-existing AM dividends, but here it's just a stupid argument and it only shows how bad intended can he be. The argument is moot here, but it seems that this is the best argument that he can point out against SP-Tech, unlike AM gen3 chips where there are plenty of arguments against it Smiley

Mine on!

Thank you roadstress . Of course you are paid by spoondolies!!! why you should tell anything else. You are really Independent! I invite you to our Office and you can proof our Miner as this did several other People already

I was here and independent long before you and Spondoolies! How about you send one demo miner to dogie or someone else and let them review the unit instead of inviting us there?

2339  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: H/w Hosting Directory & Reputation on: June 19, 2014, 03:55:05 PM
Thanks RoadStress, you beat me to it.

No problem. By the way I'm assuming that since we pay a price per kW we can change equipment as much as we want as long as we use the same power as we paid. Is that right?
Presumably, if you donīt do it every month just to annoy them Wink

We can setup terms to have 1-2 equipment changes in 12 months to avoid this.

Edit: jtoomim by the way please provide some kind of references because I don't feel that comfortable to send you miners at this point. We all know that there were a lot of scams and many trustworthy members vanished with hardware. It's nothing personal, but we are dealing with expensive equipment here.

Hi,

Yes, the terms and conditions indicate that if the hosted hashing option is accepted
then the two for one offer is no longer valid.

Thanks in advance,

Keith.

I just got this reply.  Unbelievable.

Bwahaha. So owned. So KnC secured them from pre-order money the mask for 20nm which will give them better density and better efficiency and better prices than the 28nm chips for they datorhalls. Now I get KnC's plan. Easy and 0 risk. So glad I refunded. Up yours Sam!
