%99 of ICOs and altcoins are totally scam attempts and when you see a moderated thread announcing ICO or an alt coin launch and if you invest a penny then you are an idiot. when you see alot of people are posting in these threads thinking it must be legit, you are an idiot.
Don't you know there are troll armies experts for hire to post and keep a thread live and on top and posting positive comments only to lure you into sending your money as donation to them.

I dont know whether its a pump,but what i know is that Decred is the most under valued coin now.It seems lot have realized its potential.
my thoughts too. DCR has the potential as top 5-10 coin, so why not be there in price?  its unique no ICO, PoW, GREAT coin! the PoS ticket system rocks too, this is just the sleeping giant awaking! it WILL prob correct a bit, but long term, 0.05 is easy for DCR IMO |

i think your looking at LBC (LBRY Credits, the coins) , wrong. They are NOT an investment token, they are FOR THE PLATFORM. they were MEANT to be spread around so everyone could use LBRY, and therefore are highly inflationary. Why would anyone want to invest in a highly inflationary currency? :/ The Idea is gold, the team is a great buncha dudes, and i personally love the profit share part, but as an "investment" , dont do it. if they wanted you to invest they would have had an ICO ;p they said themselves they only even got it on exchanges for liquidity of the token for people who collect/earn/mine/w.e them |

depends how long you are on ETH is guess, but i would say its just the normal eb and flow of the markets with BTC's price right now. How will the per year 2.5% management fee be collected? If I have 10 BCAPs how will the 2.5% be charged? Is this taken from some sort of dividend that will be dispersed quarterly or yearly? Also, is the management fee from profits or from assets under management? It would seem it would only be charged on dividends...in that case what if no dividends? Does the 2.5% management fee only apply in profitable years? Would be nice to see a company put their money where their mouth is so to speak for once.
I like the idea of a fund entering the crypto space, but the reasons to do so don't seem to jive. Why not make it public in the traditional sense? Why just an ICO. Seems that Blockchain Capital (BC) needs an influx of money to invest(?)...and if BC is established shouldn't there be enough happy investors lined up to contribute more? Let's be honest, the goal is not to let the little guy enter the VC market, we all only do things to make money (which I'm totally for! Don't get me wrong). I'm just missing something here. The real WHY is something I don't see here. Almost feels like BC is piggybacking the success of ICOs to have an influx of cash to invest...

hmm, interesting thoughts actually. See an ICO allows them to create a token at a cost of next to nothing to give anon people. This ONE act alone can save them in court. Having the traditional VC route, EVERYTHING goes by the SEC, if people lose out, there will be hell to pay. Crypto ICOs offer lowest liability possible, as the legal requirements to "fulfill your obligations" to investors are nearly ZERO :/ |

ya man, maybe. BTC has the BRAND, THAT will be hard imo to match. But as more and more people come into crypto we find one of the biggest things we NEED is fast transactions, so imo, look to a coin that has fast transactions to someday "be the next Bitcoin" ;p XMR,DASH (tho i would cry if dash makes it) , maybe XEM for businesses, time will tell! |
