1801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Altcoins shall I swap my BCC bitcoin cash for? on: August 04, 2017, 01:02:19 AM
Which Alts are pumping now before the weekend?

dump it and buy SIGT Cheesy
Fix supply of PoW blocks, interesting idea, massive hype, serious community $$ behind it.
Lock it in your wallet for atleast 3 months, Save it after for PoS, or to dump on the moon
This one's gonna be GOOOD, 15BTC + in buys for a shitcoin? someone knows something we don't Cheesy
1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VRM] Verium PoWT | CPU mining | scrypt² | Scaling | New Roadmap Released on: August 03, 2017, 11:26:31 PM
Why such a price increase?

Good question. I also came to know about it, until yesterday i went to see the price was in the 0.00057000 satoshi and now out of curiosity i went to see the price and i see 0.00123000

Why has it increased so much in price?

holy crap, time to fire up the old wallet, I was waiting for this day Cheesy
I kinda knew it would come eventually tho, VRM has alot going for it, to the holders go the spoils today, Wow!
Keep on holding guys, mining will get dog piled so it will be hard for a few days, but if everyone was waiting , nows the time to reap the rewards in market!
1803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX Vega Rumored to Hash 70+ Mh/s on: August 03, 2017, 08:53:58 PM
This would instantly make mining way profitable again at $400 a card.

70 is more than double. 100 would be over triple. We will hear more news very soon and may be buying these things like nes-minis
Not necessarily. Think about it. If 100,000 of these things come online within the next month or so the Ethereum network hashrate will likely triple or even more than that as well. This means the mining difficulty with skyrocket and while you may then be mining at 2-3x the speed of what you were with your RX 570s, those will only be pulling in 1/3 or even less than they were before! You will pretty much need to get your hands on these right away if you ever want a return on your investment.

My problem is flexibility, AMD just dosent have enough algos it performs as well or better than Nvidia in, so the potential for ROI is WAY greater in this speculative market we are in.
Look at coins like Netko and SIGT, everyone (me included), ROI'd ANY amount of 1080ti's in last 3 months just mining those coins, while AMD has Dagger coins , which they chase the Epoch of , and what XMR? :/

Ill believe Vega at 70mh/s when i see it, plains and simple Cheesy and im sure it will be too late by then ;p
1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 03, 2017, 07:00:30 PM
@signatum

If I generate a paper wallet using http://paperwallet.signatum.io/, and mine some coins to the address in the paper wallet, how to import the private key and coins to a wallet, so I can send the coins to other address? I tried windows wallet, cannot find a *import private key* menu or button, please help.

i got the same problem/question.
Anyone can point us in the right direction?
thanks

Import your private key via the console. Help/debug window/console tab. Type help for a list of commands if you're not familiar with the console.

if you look back a page or two i wrote instructions to another user on how to import their paper wallet private key into their desktop QT wallet Smiley
They said it worked for them ,so i would say try that! Smiley

On another note, MAN i love this algo! my cards run SO cool, 50°!  1/2'ing soon, get your coins in now boys! Smiley SIGT FTW!
1805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PEERITY.IO | A Community-Building Social Platform [PEER] on: August 03, 2017, 03:10:30 AM
all these newbie shills and all i see is just another money grab :/
here's yet another throwing out 10 red flags, do your research guys, the shills are STRONG Cheesy
The idea has been done, it's like LBRY, an incentive network for creators and shit, but you are taking 5 mins to make a token so theres less work making an actual chain involved

Garbage, plain and simple
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DASERON Cybercurity Marketplace on: August 02, 2017, 08:11:46 PM
idk man, looks like just another ETH scam
its almost laugable really .  You talk about having a system noone can shut down, BUILT on an already borked chain that ONE dude can kill/roll back anytime
Ya, sounds legit Cheesy

No real presence except brand new accounts everywhere,
no escrow
no chance for a penny from me!

1807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Lbry real profit? Is whattomine misleading? on: August 02, 2017, 07:22:13 PM
folks, who mining lbry, whattomine show profit more than in real?

i use whattomine's calculator, seems accurate to me Smiley
I have mined LBRY for over a year now, it's been generally top 5, and many days #1 on whattomine for Nvidia cards in daily profits during that whole time Cheesy
It's coming out of beta, so the price is rising nicely now as well, Never a better time to mine some LBC!
1808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 02, 2017, 06:16:00 PM
Website looks great, nice to see this project setting some simple goals, and making the deadline
No overhype, just a solid on time delivery. Ill keep mining/holding this one for sure, even tho damn it got tempting when it's sitting so on top profit for Nvidia Cheesy
http://signatum.io/ -- for those who wanna check it out

Good Job Devs! Keep it up Smiley
1809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: List the most undervalued coins/potential to pop off in HERE on: August 01, 2017, 10:11:36 PM
I would say LBC Smiley

its flown under the radar for a while, and although it's seen a nice rise over 48 hours or so, i still would say highly undervalued
It was 30k a month ago, so i think it will hit that again , maybe soon.
And weooo, once their profit share from hosting is full bore, damn, i think people will rush to get in on it!

Good Luck in your choices!
1810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][SEED]PoW Farm - Why rent temporary hashing power? Own it forever. on: August 01, 2017, 08:14:46 PM
Oh lord, im not sure you realize how many times the community has been ripped off by the idea of a community owned PoW farm :/
You also seem to have a random escrow, likely a personal friend, how is that a trusted 3rd party? :/
To take money from this forum, you need an escrow FROM this forum, or you midas have NO escrow to most of us

Anyways, i prob wont invest a penny, but ill watch it burn, as these ideas always do, good luck! Smiley
1811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: August 01, 2017, 04:51:52 PM
Holy smokes! If you are in the Slack channel you know what I am talking about  Wink

And you couldn't post it here, so everyone knows what you mean Smiley?

Prob talking about the bossman making it rain Cheesy
Best team ever, these guys havent dumped to market a single coin, but have GIVEN away to users MILLIONS Cheesy
The Kauffman (Their CEO), must just feel like Santa everyday hehe.
And the market price has held, even RISEN last day or 2, talk about community support, people ain't even dumping the FREE tokens Smiley

1812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 01, 2017, 05:51:18 AM
Please help.

I need to send my SIGT coin from my Paper Wallet to other Wallet, can anybody teach me how? most I found was bitcoin but this one is SIGT coin.

Thanks!

Use the SIGT wallet from the first page. You can also transfer it to Cryptopia, convert to other coins and then use another wallet.

My SIGT coin was already in my Paper Wallet as mentioned from the first page. My problem is how to retrieve my SIGT coin from it.

take your private key from when you made the paper wallet and download the QT wallet from the first page OP
once the wallet is loaded,  go into the "console" and there's a RPC command called "importprivkey"
Use that command and the variables needed to import your private key from paper wallet into the Qt wallet Smiley
i suggest using the rescan offered variable for upmost stability, but it may not be needed.
Good Luck! Smiley

1813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: July 31, 2017, 11:03:09 PM
Can someone help me understand whats going on with the additional fork (GUY), that's now reforking? WHY?

tbh, that coin has nothing to do with SIGT, and IMO, was just made to either:
1 - take hashrate off SIGT miners chain for more rewards for them SIGT mining
2 - just to piggyback off the popularity of SIGT

Why is it forking? cause they just cloned a coin they had no idea to read the codebase of likely

"GUY" is garbage, forget about it ;p
1814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: July 31, 2017, 06:59:11 PM
Sigt.suprnova.cc very much lag  Huh

I don't know, it looks like a trick to me! the miner keeps receiving work from the pool as if all is well but accounts are not credited with any coin. Who keeps what is mined suprnova??

for me it only seems to be the frontend, my miners are sending accepted shares no prob seems like.
There's an android app that uses the API, i find it works fine, maybe try that?
I noticed i missed an auto-payout, but that it came 20 mins later with extra coins on it, so seems to be fine, just a bit lagged :/

Waiting for 1/2ing! Cheesy
1815  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Biostar TB250-BTC PRO 12 GPU support 6 AMD 6 Nvidia on: July 30, 2017, 06:32:59 PM
Got my board today, looks great man, im excited to build this bad boy Cheesy

Thx again!

curious how it works out for you...let us know!

It's been a while since CjMapope received it but haven't heard from anyone that has tested this mobo and tell us their experience/review.
Deep In The Mines LLC, does this mobo support 12 AMD only GPUs or it should be 6 AMD and 6 Nvidia? or 12 Nvidia only?

at this point i have gotten the PSU, CPU, RAM and such ordered, got my risers all ready, and really am just waiting for some Rx Vegas to be in stock (should be 7 days or less i thinks) , to start ordering/building this bad boy Cheesy
SO ya, my build/review will be another 30 days or so probably sadly :/

I was tempted to send the board to isoneguy, but its too sweet of board to let another build hehe

1816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: July 30, 2017, 04:13:23 PM
I kinda forgot about this coin. Did anything change the last couple of months? I tested the beta. I hope it improved a lot.

all i can really say is give it a shot man Smiley

i was using it when they first made a windows client, it had not much content, many bugs, few crashes, but they are dedicated devs, almost a year later, 1000's of lines of code, hundreds of bug finds and squashes, the app has come a long way, and imo LOOKS GREAT!

What LBRY needs now is CREATORS. More Kick-ass content that everyone can buy to host and get in on profit-share (my fav part of lbry hehe)
1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: July 30, 2017, 06:14:57 AM
Mining question : I see a significant amount of mining power just looking at Miningpoolhub's stats page.

I am wondering what is true re: this ( IMHO ) mining "anomaly"...... the hashpower required to put numbers in the top 15 is fairly large....

Whichever equipment is being used to produce it, calculations suggest those committing such number to Zcoin could make significantly more income

mining a few other coins, nets, algos.

>> Are these miner speculating..... dedicated.... Have advantaged software for mining...?

This has been bothering me for awhile now..... I have a small "farm" and could not see profits, at this time, mining Zcoin unless I was speculating on the future....

Am I missing some info here??

All replies welcome....thanks  Smiley
total speculation, Zcoin undervalued by a long way, look at Zcash, monero, Dash, really it's the only coin offering zero knowledge with an audit able supply
Excellent summation of the potential of XZC, Angus.

Thank you for your replies so far, are most using the tpruvot ccminer at this time ( i mine nvidia ) or is there a better solution on the table (PM welcome if preferred) I really like this coin structure and algo Smiley

im mining for speculation mostly as well, tho for me if the price dosent take a huge climb, ill just hold till my "Znode" ROI's me hehe.
This coin's development is still young, and i personally think MTP will bring ALOT of attention to zcoin, the Miner competition is on now so it wont be long now Cheesy
I use ccminer too ya, there's nothing better i have found, and it's super stable

Nice to see an Established system finally doing an ICO, tho im not much of a gambler myself, all that means to me is maybe i should consider investing in OTHERS gambling hehe
Generous Sig campaign to accompany it, love that as well.
No doubt this will be successful, the roadmap looks clean and accomplishable, very nice.

Best of Luck, ill prob be throwing into this one for sure!

I just started to mine on SuprNova but I have no wallet. What are you all doing ?

Thanks

Hi, wallet is built-in into app or you can use Coinomi wallet for android.
Check this FAQ - https://lbry.io/faq?category=wallet

Thanks for your reply.

Thats what I found but I dont want a wallet on my phone and the app asked for my Credit card. Why no stand alone wallet for PC Windows ?

How about Linux ? Is it command line only ?

Thanks again.

IIRC, the CC verify is strickly for the rewards, and as a prevention of abuse method Smiley  you can use the app fine just wont get the free monies

i have been using it so long i dont even see that part of the app, as im already verified
