1521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING.. BEWARE OF ALL E COINS! (eBTC, ELIXIR, ECASH) BEWARE OF TROY! on: October 29, 2017, 09:18:32 PM
Thanks for the heads up OP Smiley
Ya, when this ICO craze started, people could invest in ideas and promises, but now they are all so hollow Sad
Over the years there has become literal TEAMS of "pro scammers", these guys know what works, and it's all rinse and repeat to them Sad
Now its PoW scam coins too, fricken shitty people everywhere
Be safe guys
1522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Checkout DisLedger's exciting new DLT running 500,000 transactions per second! on: October 29, 2017, 08:52:33 PM
sounds interesting, but i dont see anything more than someone hyping another ICO, money up front for your "great idea" here Sad
You get the sweet mother BTC, investors fight in the markets to make profits
Whats the POINT of even 100's of tx's a second? for a chain NOONE USES?
BTC itself needs tx's per second, but NO other chain has the volume to need it really, this included
total gimmick
1523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: October 29, 2017, 07:41:34 AM
How much does mh/s 1080? Huh

a 1080 does about 950 kh/s .  a 1070 actually does a little bit more, ranking in around 1.2-1.3. must be that mem, damn those 1070 are good miners! haha
in the future you can use this site for reference, its what i use, its run by the guy who brought us ccminer and yiimp so i think its good Cheesy
http://yiimp.eu/bench?algo=lyra2z&chip=0

1524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Expecting new Desktop in a week with GTX 1070. Worth it to mine? on: October 29, 2017, 12:19:17 AM
@OP  Cool man, welcome to mining Cheesy ya one card will only do so much, but if you were gonna pick a starter card a 1070 is a great choice
They use little power, and are great miners, use resources like whattomine+ the ANN board to profit hunt, or set and forget it to nicehash (they usually place 3-10th in daily profit, tho sometimes higher for 1070)
https://www.nicehash.com/profitability-calculator -- resource for mining on THEIR system calculations

Good Luck!
1525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] bitJob: Decentralized Student Marketplace for Online Jobs on: October 28, 2017, 07:23:37 PM
congratulations to successful for the crowdsale, what the progress information about this token, any news about when cam be listings on exchange

Hello!

Thank you for congratulations and support!
It is already listed on HitBTC and EtherDelta.
At the moment we are waiting for Trezor lottery results and bounty distribution. hope all of these will be finished next week
Cheers

Nice!   i eagerly await trading, tho for this one i kinda wanna HODL my tokens too haha, as they can actually be used Cheesy
Actually following the roadmap pretty close, that's a good sign!
Ill have to dig out my student number, i assume previous verifiable education can qualify one for jobs, or is it strictly a CURRENT student market?
Congrats on the successful ICO!
1526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitradio on: October 27, 2017, 09:17:50 PM
I believe BitRad.io is a great project but lacks exposure. I've been listening for almost a week already and no complaints at all.
I just wish they will find a way to integrate the radio in the wallet itself. To be able to stake, the wallet must always be open and connected to the internet.
It would be much better if they put the radio in it too and just let it play 24/7.

tbh man i think they have screwed the pooch as they say on this one Sad
Here's why:
They have collected 15 BTC for a project that over almost 6 months, has NOT changed at all. They already had the original site/system up before ICO
It got listed on like NO exchanges for months, why would it, they got BTC , THATS listed everywhere Sad
To this day theres really no updates or progress, tho i think a small "bigger" exchange finally picked it up Sad big woop Sad
scam at this point almost really
1527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASUS or GIGABYTE or GALAX FOR 1060 6G on: October 27, 2017, 09:14:06 PM
Hi,

What would be your preference for 1060 6GB - ASUS or GIGABYTE or GALAX.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Regards,

Rizwan

Personally i really like the gigabytes, they make some nice slim full clocked models, and never had a trouble finding local retailer  Smiley
ASUS i personally dont really like haha, i find they run hot, but i have only had blowers ones too  Tongue
Galax they don't sell in my country, always wanted to try some, but ebay prices are stupid Sad
1528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ESCARCE][ICO] E-scarce Token |Limited Supply💎| - Ethereum - |AIRDROP| on: October 26, 2017, 10:53:19 PM
sounds like an ok idea, but where would YOU consider a "reptuable cloud miner" ? Sad
Bitmain's hashnest comes to mind, but Bitmain is always doing crap like locking the BTC wallet there in favor for their coin
What if they closed doors to certain parts of the world?
Eobot is ok, but they host with bitmain too, and their prices are high
hashflare is prob on its last legs...

Sad

1529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: {Rumor} 1070ti - Real? Thoughts? on: October 26, 2017, 05:58:13 PM
Newegg got them available for pre-order now:

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487387

I went ahead and ordered one to test with.  $469 isn't a great price, but if I can coax 550 Sol/s out of it, it would not be too bad.

yupp i snagged two FE's from Nvidia site this morning, 600$ CDN each, thats like the price of a higher end 1070! im in! Cheesy haha
I think they will do what a 1080 will on hash as they have that good 1070 memory Cheesy
Not shipping till Nov 2nd, that hurts, but its only a week Cheesy

*I have removed the "Rumor" from thread title and added Preorders on Now for Nov 2nd

1530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAMBO][ANN] LAMBOCOIN 🏆🏆🏆 DAILY GIVEAWAYS 🏆🏆🏆 on: October 26, 2017, 07:18:30 AM

lol thats great and all but all i see is that they launched a shitcoin that never really got off the ground, and have now had MONTHS of it being dead to mine the shit out of it alone, now their getting it listed to dump their bags . there's really no reason to give a shit, unless one HOLDS some Lambobags, which i do not personally Cheesy
Best luck to those who do tho! Cheesy
1531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: October 26, 2017, 01:56:10 AM
equihash still best option for 1080's right? or is some people still mining eth?

Or LyraRE2
Or Lyra2z
Or Xevan

As said before, the mining market is a lot more efficient now than it used to be, meaning that if one algo/coin tends to do better than another, hashpower flows to it and flattens it back to average. The "normalisation" is a lot quicker nowadays.

thats what happens Cheesy   one farm drops off and the diff goes down, but within three hours people had noticed and the hash and diff was x2 again (back to normal, even more)
Smartcash is still kinda a shitcoin, its only pumping cause cryptopia has the wallet in maintenance i think haha
Anyone see if  zcash nethash dropping? Cheesy im waiting on that ;p
maybe mine some DGB, pretty low
1532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: October 25, 2017, 06:29:17 AM
I hope to see working BTC gold mining tomorrow  Grin
november first is the date that has been spoked off as when  mining  will be posible(if you dont count 100k premined)
last i heard - they haven`t even wallet ready. but it was about 3-4 days ago

who know whats they have, they havent released any code open source for anyone to see Cheesy they could have nothing ;p
Either way it's just another premine scam to me, they just have big name sbehind it, so what, we see that everyday nowadays, end result is they just want your BTC and will give you another "better" token haha Cheesy
All i hope from this is a reduced zcash nethash rate/diff Cheesy
1533  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [4x mining rigs selling nvidia+ amd] on: October 24, 2017, 04:34:51 AM
ugh, hard to make a deal here man Sad
your selling them at about 10 months ROI by TODAYS prices/difficulty and revenue :/
-how long will 3gb cards last? not long, maybe a few months on DAG coins
-this is USED hardwear, probably ROI for you, the releases dates are so old on them Sad
- Vega's optimizations and talk of Vega 20 make 400 series garbage nowadays
- shipping would be SO hard with 4 rigs, you mention nothing of assembly before? help after?

ya, no thanks.
1534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: October 23, 2017, 12:36:38 PM
Been mining lbry for quite some time. A shame to see the price go so low with the potential it has. Luckily development is aparantly going steady, but it will off course take time.
And i get that since it is a plattform they dont want to much attention early, as this is an actual product and needs alot of development to be ready for public. But it would be nice with some pr so the coin value dont go too far down.

ya it's just PoW right now i think, all PoW coins are getting slayed a bit, people got bills, and i think alot of miners went a little all in this year not thinking ahead and are now dumping as fast as they get coins Sad
Lbry has built a blockchain from the ground up, it's super complicated and has required alot of work, things take time Smiley
When it's finished it will offer a healthy ecosystem for creators and profit hunters to both make money, and give creators back their freedom at same time, totally worth the wait imo.

1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: October 23, 2017, 12:53:10 AM
ya i dont think BTC gold price will carry but who knows, free market Cheesy
They are premining it so the diff will start high, and ya the confirms i hear it takes on new blocks are just insane, seems all part of a plan to create value before the miners even have their coins so they can get rich.
Fuck that shit lol
1538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold Price on: October 23, 2017, 12:42:20 AM
What do you guys think the price will be? Its name suggests that it will be expensive, yet its mining is GPU, so I expect it to be way cheaper than BTC itself.
I am not sure if it will be around the ETH price though. Some suggest that it will start off around 50 USD due to people selling as soon as they get it, but I am not sure.
Opinions, please?

i say it wont be more than 100$ Cheesy
I think that people/exchanges are getting tired of these fork coins, each claiming to be the real Bitcoin or better Bitcoin
I dont even know whats "better" anymore, im just sticking with the main chain Cheesy
1539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PAC Coins to eliminate air pollution on: October 22, 2017, 10:30:37 PM
It feels like the only thing you have thought about here is collecting money Sad
-No team info
-No coin info (is it a coin? a token?)
-Nothing but "collect money for X idea/save the world" plans, same old

Ya, right.   NEXT! lol
1540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTCG]BITCOIN GO on: October 22, 2017, 10:28:08 PM
kinda weird to list exchanges that its not on, looks scammy hahah
What Algos will this be? i like the idea of multi-algo + PoS
Any premine? should upload the code so we can see, or is it like the actual BTC gold, no open source code? Cheesy
