1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: October 16, 2017, 06:52:19 PM
anybody mining HSR? i been mining some to get for PoS as it seems the wallet/whitepaper supports it, but shit if i can find info on its protocol or APR or anything lol
Seems like with 1.6 as block reward, PoS would be super juicy
I sold all my smartcash, t'was a good pump there Cheesy should mine it again, but meh try another coin now, the joys of being ROI haha

1070ti soon! i will be grabbing some and will make a thread if not one already by that time Smiley

you should move this to the new dedicated piggy-back board Cheesy
you dont have a chain, or independent blocks, you solely depends on another project to make sure yours even RUNS day to day, your shittoken surely belongs on this board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=240.0
please move it to stop wasting the real altcoiners time here, thx! Cheesy

1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VRM] Verium PoWT | CPU mining | scrypt² | Scaling | New Roadmap Released on: October 16, 2017, 01:57:49 AM
ya mining Verium has always been pretty dece, and i tell ya it's brought back people building rigs from scratch for CPU mining coins, that in itself is pretty cool Smiley
Alts have taken a hit, all that means is they will rise again, VRM is still strong over how long its been out IMO.
So ill keep my laptops on it, collecting, stacking. One day ill trade them all in for PoS VRC hehe
1567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: October 15, 2017, 04:21:55 AM
I like zcion. . . good upside

IDK if it's better than mona right now but it's decent

Mining has caught up to Mona, its dropping in price now ;p
Hows she goes haha, back to zcoin or something for me likely
LBRY is nice and low right now tho too, hmmmm
1568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ScamCoin [SCAM] Super Clean And Marvelous on: October 14, 2017, 10:11:55 PM
Isn't there already a coin with this ticker? Cheesy thought i saw a scamcoin launched before haha
Should be easy as hell to get listed on major exchanges, shit is "legit"!
Eh, a shame it's scrypt PoW, GPU algo i might mine some for the shit of it
1569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoS][TOKC] TokyoCoin - New PoS Algorithm | FREE Airdrops on: October 14, 2017, 09:34:24 PM
Prob not gonna join this one myself, seems pretty worthless haha
What's the "new PoS algo" mentioned in the OP? i see no mention of it
I would read more the last 30+ pages but it's all one line freecoin beggers haha
1570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Goverment is not recommending to use digital currency such a bitcoin? on: October 14, 2017, 01:41:31 AM
i have always thought the big reason was that it lacks consumer protection being irreversable .
People are dumb, a government could never recommend a digital currency like BTC, people would get scammed like they do their credit cards and paypals, and expect the company or gov to just reverse it and make it go away Cheesy ya , not with BTC haha

1571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Ryzen hashrate? on: October 13, 2017, 02:34:41 AM
Picked up a Ryzen 3 1300x for my wifes build, damn this thing is powerful for the cost!
Does 400kh/s on Zcoin, 300ish on XMR, same performance as my 6th gen i-7 that cost x2, wow.
Gonna get a threadripper i think for next build, regret getting just a 3 this go around Sad
1572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: October 12, 2017, 09:28:27 PM
Are there any multi-algo auto switching tools / pools where you can keep the coins mined rather than auto- exchange to BTC? And without extortionate withdrawal fees?!
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=769239.0;topicseen

Has anybody tried this? is it any good?

i might try that miner today, at first glance it looks pretty old school, 1/2 the pools aren't alive anymore, but looks like they are updating it, might be something
i been mining a bit of MONA, getting in that daily profit ;p
Hsr is a PoS coin, so im stacking some of those too Cheesy
1573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Enigma Catalyst - Build Your Own Crypto Hedge Fund - Token Sale Sep 11 on: October 12, 2017, 08:10:29 AM
Looks like distribution is started.Did anyone get they tokens?  ???Thanks

i got that weird spammy/scammy email, but i logged into my ICO account and dont see any tokens there yet Cheesy
Anyone play with their Enigma engine yet? i been trying it out, trying to see how it works, im sure it will get more user friendly tho
Time will tell, best luck to all
1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: October 12, 2017, 07:47:00 AM
1080 rig mining ETH or ETC, i think about 18 month to return profit .
best is 470 4g.. about 10 month
SO tell me order coin mining with best profit at now? some website compair

noone really knows the best coin, there's calculators, but most profitable are generally smaller hashrate coins less people are mining, meaning it would kinda defeat the purpose if people told you ;p
Im mining zcoin, nice low power, some hcash, see where it goes, DGB while it's low, theres so many options right now haha
1575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: October 12, 2017, 07:45:16 AM
Which pool are you using for this coin ?

I'm using zpool.ca but I don't understand this pool.

My rig is diging for more than 6 hours and all my counters stay to 0 :

Bt hashrates are OK :

I gave a BTC address as asked in the zpool web page :

http://zpool.ca/

ccminer command line :

-a lyra2z -o stratum+tcp://lyra2z.mine.zpool.ca:4553#xnsub -u 3BuSaEnhrSgqh3unhBEjEGjLZNcBoFCXsN -p c=xzc

pretty simple really, zpool hasent hit a block for you to get your shares paid Sad
It's been days and at current hashrate it will be days more. They seemed to have started off strong, i was mining there myself, got some blocks, but as the block dragged out everyone (me included) seems to have slowly left Sad
They just need some hash and you will be paid your shares when a block is hit
1576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Quiet Office Miner on: October 12, 2017, 12:32:51 AM
A gpu mining rig is just a computer with video cards.  They really aren't much louder than any other computer unless you are using reference cards which I think sounds like small jet airplanes.

Most new boards can support 2 GPUs.  Why not just start with a computer and add cards?

Yupp, i would suggest this as well. to add that even if you had a x4 1080ti rig, if you were to keep it at say 50% power limit, fans wouldnt need to be more than 40%, and the thing would still darn near be silent, no more loud than an older workstation desktop haha
Most ASICs, are loud as shit, unless you mod them with fans and such, just the nature of them needing to be kept cool
1577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to tell if coin will be listed on big exchange? on: October 11, 2017, 11:56:20 PM
How do people evaluate whether a newer alt coin is likely to be listed on one of the major exchanges or is likely to remain restricted to the smaller and lesser used ones?

volume is a big factor for exchanges. Exchanges will add any coin if it brings them $$$ in fees, don't really matter if it's a shittoken, or an ICO scam really, if it brings in maker/taker fees, they will list it.
Sadly, it's no longer a sign of a "good" project to be listed on big exchange, it's only a sign of volume Cheesy
1578  Economy / Speculation / Re: Things we'll see in this discussion list in 2022 on: October 11, 2017, 08:00:00 AM
We will see things like: "i remember when it was 300$USD per coin!" -- and i actually do, it wasent that long ago haha
We may even get to see if John McCafee lives up to his "BTC 500k or ill eat my dick" comment Cheesy
Either way, WE will be the early adopters, the pioneers that made, or broke BTC for the future.
1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin do you Trust the MOST? on: October 11, 2017, 06:17:37 AM
I trust the only coin that's given me worry free 200+% growth continously for the last 5 years Smiley
and that is of course Mother BTC. 95% of alts are just someones way of trading your wonderful BTC for their created token.
Everyone just wants more BTC Cheesy
1580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 kinds of ICOs — Protect yourself on: October 11, 2017, 03:08:15 AM
Great thread man, should be pinned here haha
If Bitcointalk had a tip system i would tip you ;p
So many projects raised millions, have NOTHING, some just tax miners and make hands free money
Everyone wants to get rich, and it's easier to take it from the uninformed in crypto sadly Sad
Dont trust anything with Vitaliks face on it, thats one of my rules haha
