Never seen anyone so excited about a coin that isn't even close to being on an exchange, has almost no technical merit (besides a new algo), and really doesn't seem like anything more then a shit coin.

I'll keep mining Equihash, good look on your millions you're going to make.

totally haha.   i admit i mined 30k when it launched, but i switched back to my regular coin 3 hours ago now, the doggypile has begun on this SIGT, ill wait for the pump now after it goes full PoS ;p

gotta take the chances when they launch, it's easy ROI's on expensive 1080ti's!   (i sold some already for 0.1BTC as it has had one pump already on its shitexchange,  i mined those up in 6 hours)

1842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: July 20, 2017, 07:26:17 PM

well and inflation ;p

it will be a WHILE to hit 50k satoshi with this inflation, cause its true, the margins put price at 800 satoshis or so right now, and miners WILL dump :/
compare DNR's block reward of THREE to SIGT reward of 2500, THATS where price rose on DNR ;p

DNR blocktime is 10% of SIGT's and SIGT's current hashrate per identical GPU is about 50% that of DNR. That puts 3 DNR unscientifically at about 125 SIGT, or 1:41. At the current price of DNR at $1.20, I guestimate 1 SIGT should be about $0.03.

o nice, i didnt know the exact numbers, that sounds bout right, thx!

it should also change once we pass the 30k block and reward drops one will hope Smiley

Hi!

I found this for exchange : https://coinsmarkets.com/trade-BTC-SIGT.htm

My hashrate for a KFA2 GTX 1060 3GB is about 12MH/s

Not official. Buy / sell at your own risk.
People there just giving their coins for free. Guess they will cry later.

Looking at how fast coins are coming in for me that actually is a very good price. At the current price there i would make little under 0.05 btc per day. compared to 0.008 on the bigger coins.
You think the current price is a good one? Just look at DNR coin price that based at new similar with Signatum algo, that's the price what we must orientate to. I believe that holding is a key to great profit.

More is always better, but keep in mind, mining profit is over 5x what i am supposed to get. This wont stay at that price long or hashrate goes up like crazy. 1 of these 2.

Mining profit was also very high on DNR up until about 2-3 days ago. Just never hit whattomine in time for the masses to figure out. I see SIGT is already much harder to mine just 2 days in.

Selling 10k at 0.00002 =  0.2BTC

1845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: July 19, 2017, 06:08:35 AM
i think it has something to do with OpenCL, my windows is fresh and never had AMD so never had opencl stuff on it :/

i get error -9999, which according to stackflow says it's :

"-9999   NVidia   clEnqueueNDRangeKernel   Illegal read or write to a buffer"

so idk what to do about that wait for CUDA miner i guess haha

then you need to reduce the intensity, i got the same error when i set intensity to 25 and later reduced it to 23 for gtx 1080 ti and 18 for amd rx480

What hashrate are you getting on the 1080ti?

28 MH/s at intensity 23, any value more than 23 crashes the miner but the GPU is running cool at 50 Degrees

Only getting 16Mh/s on my 1080's. I=23.

Check how many shaders you have in 1080 and use -X instead of -I (example: i tried -X 4000)

1080 has 2560 shaders. Tried -X 2560 and -X 4000, and no difference for either.

-i 23 seems best for me, 23mh/s, i got it working finally, damn OpenCL ;p
Thx for your help man, gonna try some tweaking now to get closer to that 28mh/s!

CPU usage is rough, over 1 GPU per rig gets hairy quick :/

Receiving errors on 2x 1080s and 2x 1070s

error clSetkKernal Arg after running

Below is the bat

sgminer.exe -k skunkhash  --gpu-platform 1 -o stratum+tcp://pool.onepool.online:6000 -u BTmqtfhwvZqGofQy9vrqt7tnDMTfwzdVGW -p x -I 8
pause

Any ideas?

ya i can't run this one either :/

just crashes, and if i try 5 cards takes whole rig down haha

Nvidia guys any tips for this algo till we get proper CUDA support? :/

OPEN your EYES, DAG EPOCH # 129 & the date was in june ?

it's 134 now & the date is 19th JULY that's PROOF & GUARANTEED !

nice haha, im not an ETH miner but YOU would know these things Cheesy    thx man for the confirm

1849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best GPU's For Mining? on: July 18, 2017, 08:07:37 PM
for the price of (1) 1080ti. you can buy

3 pcs. 106-100 6gb mining card running at 25mh/s  = 75mh/s

75mh/s > 36mh/s

pfft, that 106 card will have ZERO resale, and you will need TWO more slots for equal to 1080ti you say?  meaning  like 3x as many rigs in the end to build and maintain, put THAT into your cost lmao

ill stick with 1080ti, bought another today, a MSI FE, price is dropping nicely lately

1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NVIDIA GTX 1070 BIOS UNLOCKED! - Hashrate improvement. on: July 18, 2017, 07:54:51 PM
Need to show overclock settings on after burner and proof that it runs for more than 2 seconds at that speed..

cards prob at 95 degrees and 2500 core clock , bet it runs 5 seconds without crashing Grin

Honestly @ OP,  your screenshots SHOW your Bsing, WHY would someone who HAD a stable miner at that speed ONLY show 3 second no shares even accepted screenshots?

Nice try, but i call BS, have a good day burning up your card to try scam less than a ETH lol
1852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: July 18, 2017, 07:46:46 PM
5 and a 1080

get me up to about 125 with cc miner 70% TDP and only tweak in ccminer is intensity

would you care to share your bat file line?
thanks

All I did was play with the intensity until it didn't crash when i started up the miner.

Otherwise it's just my credentials.

Edit - apparently i didn't check intensity on the c11, just running that 100% as is

ccminer-x64 -a c11 -o stratum+tcp://chc.suprnova.cc:5888 -u xxxxx.xxxxx  -p xxxx c=VTC,stats

IDK what the c=VTC means, but it came on the bat files and it runs fine with it so I never removed it. Stats seem to just give me updates in the miner, which is* nice

haha you should maybe READ the documentation  ;p
the password field can be used for arguments.  Stats is used to send your mining stats to a YIIMP based pool, it does nothing on supernova
same with C="COIN", thats the coin specific arguement.  if you mined that on zpool your would only get vertcoin or w.e the fuk VTC is Cheesy
again, does nothing on supernova, a simple "-p x" would suffice for you here

"We still plan to ship by June 2018 at the latest" !

So one has to wait a year for this miner possibly ?

yupp, and people who paid for a minebox (their last money grab) months ago are still getting the run around, months behind their last "latest by" delivery and nothing but promises made for their future...

but hey thats how robbing paul to deliver peter's machines works right? Cheesy

and yet people buy....

crypto is funny ahha
Is minerbox connected with the SIA team? I was under the impression that they are not affiliated

Minebox is not connected directly to SIA as far as I know but they do have a partnership with HP Enterprise.

? they used a HP NAS for the minebox..., but it was MY understanding they have NO official partnership with HP, do you have a source for that? :/

It's like when a coin uses Azure and says they have "partnership with Microsoft Azure" lol

Minebox had a booth in a recent HP Enterprise event in Vegas to my understanding, https://www.minebox.io/blog/minebox-hpe-discover-las-vegas/

interesting, i didnt see that, thx!
ya they may not have a DIRECT partnership, but it does seem HPE is well aware of the minebox and that "communication with HPE will continue and we are looking forward what the future is going to bring."
so thats something atleast.

i will take your "not me" as  "it has been done tho"  Cheesy

@Epsylon3:

Any plans of adding Xevan algo into the miner? That would be great since there are no miners for Nvidia at the moment.

no
How much AMD did pay you? )))

my guess was a small farm just bought his skills to make one for private mining Cheesy  prob small tho as nethash is pretty low on BSD imo

1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: July 15, 2017, 07:05:45 PM
Have 1080Ti Palit SJS and got about 730 sol/s on Win10 with 230W power consumption (1860 MHz/5650 MHz/925 mV Core/Memory/voltage). But somebody report about 770-800 Sol/s on equihash. What settings shoud be used?

you will only get 770-800 on the top of the line cards, zotacs and aurous i believe. PLus honestly, its not worth the power consumption, you should look for around 700 sol/s and 80% or less TDP, whatever settings work, noone has magic numbers for you, my zotac is at +0/+0 right now for 700 sol/s and 200 watts Grin
1858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: July 15, 2017, 04:48:57 PM
what else are you mining guys? im mining and holding skein for 2 weeks now..

me too, i'm holding to another day of crazy market, so if we sell DGB for 0,00001BTC it'll be terrific

Mainly mining eth for my AMD farm and holding. For my 1080ti farm, mining what's most proffitable and dumping into USD. But these few days I am holding the mined btc since they are relatively cheap compared to recent times. May acquire up to 2 btc before dumping mined coins again.

i have been holding my LBC, hoping to see ROI on my little ti farm (just 7 cards), when/if it hits 20k again inna month or 2
if it hits 10k ill dump maybe tho, not much else one CAN do to try stay in the money nowadays :/
i think its smart to hold your ETH, all my AMD has been liquidated or i would do the same
it WILL pump again one day for SURE imo
1859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: dstm's zcash cuda miner on: July 15, 2017, 04:32:24 AM
Scans clean with ESET, but dammit there's alot of new malware thats undetectable too... :/

no source you would share just for quick perusal eh? Sad

why the brand new account? you wrote a zcash miner but NEVER made an account here ever? :/
1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: July 14, 2017, 09:21:36 PM
I have 4 1080tis, one gigabyte and 3 zotac. I can adjust the fan speed to gigabyte but the zotacs won't adjust.

has anyone faced something similar? using afterburner  Huh

i think the zotac has an under 60 degrees override on fan, install that Zotac OC softwear and you can disable it, then use afterburner freely Smiley
but i think you HAVE to install that Zotac program to disable that fan control
