the trick is to find a coin with a good CPU:GPU ration on mining, XMR is NOT BAD, its GPU dominated but like 1:5 for CPU
but ZCOIN is like 1:3 for CPU, making it hella profitable

Sadly with prices being in range of new, and these cards maybe making 1$ a day nowadays, i think your being misleading saying the ROI is 20-30k AUD, as mining is a depreciating game, 1070's have been out 15 months, they are just not worth 75% new price after being ROI, not to me.
1070ti is in like 7 days, i would price for quick sale if you dont want to be holding this bag
i would maybe offer 275 USD per card, but then again shipping to Canada would be killer for them all, would take weeks, time is money...

Mining is still easily profitable, it's just like anything, you need to try to keep all your hardwear on the top of the tech ladder for best efficency and hashspeeds
I believe anyone under 0.2 c per kw/h is still making money, and rest assured most are ROI now on 10 series purchases, dammit we have had them 15 months haha
0.1USD kw/h and under, profits are still 70/30 if not better

Your not gonna decentralize a centralized system of peer review, random comment sections and things like yelp already have that market, most people have not even heard of crypto, getting them to switch from a known working system to yours will be hard.
