1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: September 18, 2017, 10:02:20 PM
this coin is dead. loose 5 btc  Angry

like i have told people for a YEAR:
STOP thinking LBC is an "investment vehicle" LBC will NOT make you nubs rich trading it, its a token to be used on the platform, if it was an investment they would have SOLD it to you as such Cheesy
You bought a PoW coin (on a free market), when POW is getting slayed from too many profit miners and not enough liquidity, LBC hitting 5k was a GIVEN really with the current mining ecosystem
So how bout we blame the one who pushed the "buy" button, eh? Cheesy
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 18, 2017, 07:01:13 AM
This thread has really slowed down...

I'd like to try some new mods.

Interested in the Xevan miner

you and everyone else on the green team Cheesy
Sadly we need to wait for someone to open source ccminer code on XEVAN before SP can do his thing, so as of now, there is nothing Cheesy  funny how that goes, it would be SUPER profitable to write imo if someone did/could
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [NETKO][NETKO] PoW/PoS | NO PREMINE | BLAKE2S | 8.MARCH 2017 on: September 18, 2017, 12:52:13 AM
C'mon over to thecryptopool.com to mine you some NETKO coin

-o stratum+tcp://thecryptopool.com:5766 -u <YOUR WALLET ADDRESS> -p c=NETKO

All coins mine at 1% pool fee and payouts happen every 2 hours for balances over .001

Coins are being added every hour!

Happy mining!

lol you seem to have made this post before even testing a single block, PoW ended months ago on this coin.....
Damn noobs, they get so caught up in trying to get people to give them some pool fees, they dont even test or check the OP of coins they add Sad
Reminds me NOT to mine at your pool, asking for trouble you are with no proper testing imo

EDIT: ohhhh, i think i see what happened, you confused NEVA with Netko.  hahaa, fail ;p
1664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ugliest (but effective) GPU rig set-up on: September 18, 2017, 12:13:34 AM
Look at the date..that was more than 3 years ago...they have been dismantled..
But back then 10Mh was really ROCKING!
I run 8x Antminer S9's now...but these are the rigs that paid for themselves and the S9's..
The pics were on an old drive I just fired up to load the pics for old times sake.

ya it was quite ovbious when you mentioned the cards in there and i saw you were using Cgminer, damn, thats a oldie but a goodie man, thx for sharing Smiley
You decided to continue down the BTC route only? never got bigger badder GPUs over the years? i find Antminers hella unreliable and heaven forbid you need to RMA one :/

Happy Hashing! i used to have BTC ASICs too, but im all GPU now Smiley
1665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hashrates of GTX 1080 and Ti on: September 18, 2017, 12:05:46 AM
Could I learn the hashrate values for NVIDIA GTX1080 and NVIDIA GTX1080 TI ?

Ethereum and ZEC

I have been using AMD cards so far. But I decided to switch to NVIDIA.
Could I use Windows os with NVIDIA for mining ? Should I switch to Linux ?
, otherwise, SMoS or PiMpOS all the way man, quick and easy

Expensive too.. SMoS - $2 per rig - per month, across 25 rigs thats $50 per month! , PiMpOS - $30 per rig = $750.. I think not.

@ OP

Just windows Windows 10 x64, Turn all updates and aero shit off, Good to go.

ya i would agree that the scale up on PimP would cost too much, but honesty how can you sat TWO$ a MONTH per rig is expensive for SmoS? Cheesy
25 rigs would generate 1000's$ a month and 50$ is too much? you sir are greedy or spoiled haha
Windows is a headache, 80% of problems on this board are windows generated ;p
i use windows myself, but i am experienced enough to halt all the garbage on it
1666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 18, 2017, 12:00:08 AM
Havent done Zcash in a while but back then I was doing 770-780 and "IF" i'm lucky 790-800 but very rare this high.

+60 Core
+800 Mem

I also have the power at 115% because free electricity lol.
Fans at 95% because thats what they are designed to be at.

temps were around 60-68C

Several EVGA 1080ti FTW3

Mining Skein at Hashrefinery and Ahashpool seems the best thing right now for these cards.

there's no such thing as "free" electricity here, just because YOU aren't paying for it, i assure you SOMEONE IS Cheesy
95% fan your gonna burn one out pretty quick i give them 2 months, where did you see "thats what they are designed to be at" ? lol i would laugh to see ANY manufacturer recommend a 95% fan hahah damn, i never go over 80%, and my cards run 50°
1667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 profitability (November batch) UK on: September 17, 2017, 11:49:35 PM
If you have expensive electricity, don't buy any mining hardware.

Why? Ok, I pay 0.28€/kwh, which is pretty high... but if I could get a Antminer D3 device now, I would theoretically make a profit of approx. $4.000 in a month (all costs included).

But the question is for how long you would make this amount of profit, because of rising difficulty. I think this was the question of Pchahal - and I also would like to know...

the Dif is gonna EXPLODE.  Inno starts shipping their BOSS X11 miner, so if you are wondering how bitmain will raise the diff, keep in mind inno ships 38GH/s (OC) X11 miners starting in 2 days.
By november, its gonna be ugly imo, and even the other x11 alts are gonna get slayed as D3 hunters desperatly try make $$$
Do you ever wonder why people are selling preorders? Cheesy Cheesy

http://yiimp.ccminer.org/bench -- check there for most major algos speed stats on Nvidia for most cards Smiley
Windows is a headache, i only use it on rigs that have more use than strickly mining, otherwise, SMoS or PiMpOS all the way man, quick and easy
my 1080tis do 40mh/s+500mh/s DCR per card, +800 mem, core w.e ;p i RUN them closer to 38 for efficency tho when i DO mine ETH
Zcash efficiency is best at about 650-700 sol/s i find, anything above that your hash goes str8 to the powerman unless "free" power
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 17, 2017, 08:45:34 PM
do you use default algo switch time?
It seems that 90 sec is too low-half of the day it mines at "miner start and accelerates" rate.

ya i dont understand these profit switches, its like they have no idea how PPLNS works :/
Especially if you use a yimmp based pool (hashrefinery), you just start building some share, then it switches and you lose your share % in the time b4 a block is hit :/
I am not gonna use sniffdog, except for maybe benchmarks ;p its dece for that haha.  plus, OC, dosent really apply to profit switchers :/ mem hard, core hard, same OC? OK DEN! ;p noob miners making progs haha, they can code but have no idea how mining works ;p

1670  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: {WTS} 1080ti's (Canada/US) on: September 17, 2017, 04:52:09 PM
Would you consider shipping to SE Asia? I've paid a ore-prder for the same Zotac as you have but it's now 2+ weeks and the card is still not here, my supplier says they can't give me an ETA (fair game, I was warned at the time of placing the order). I could cancel it and buy yours right away.  By the way, how old is it and is warranty still valid?

the zotac is about 3 months old, yes the warranty i assume is 1-3 year so its still good for a while yet.  (zotacs usually pretty good)
To ship to ASIA i would need payment upfront, as it would require atleast 50$ to ship and i need to fill out some international shipping papers :/
hence i PREFER to ship in North America, but again, if paid upfront they will be in the mail next business day no prob, i can do that Smiley
1671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Solo mining LBRY <how to> on: September 17, 2017, 01:01:36 AM
I'll giveaway 100lbry for the first one who show me step by step how to solo mining this coin via PM
already have:
daemon and cli

Step one: write a stratum to handle GPU mining Cheesy
LBRY was not built with one , its handles CPU solo only, and solo CPU mining is LONG past :/
You could ask one of the pool operators to share their code, but likely none will be in a hurry to help drag hash away from their own pools :/
You COULD make a yiimp pool, and just keep the IP private tho Smiley tht would be a solo pool
Good Luck! Cheesy
1672  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: {WTS} 30x nVidia GTX 1070s for Sale (Canada/US) on: September 16, 2017, 11:41:01 PM
I will vouch for Animex having these cards, i remember when he bought them haha
he has also purchased a few cards off of me, and he's always a pleasure to deal with, never ANY trouble or excuses with payment

Good Luck on your sales man! Smiley

1674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [VFY] VERIF-Y: BLOCKCHAIN-BASED IDENTITY PLATFORM on: September 15, 2017, 11:55:37 PM
Where can I find the CEO's LinkedIn profile? Many of the team members don't have links to their LinkedIn profiles on your website.

Ed Zabar
https://www.linkedin.com/in/edzabar

John Chaisson
https://www.linkedin.com/in/johncchaisson/

Chad Peiper, Ph.D.
https://www.linkedin.com/in/peiper/

I found 3 of these teams on google next please search  Grin
all teams equipped with Verif-y Inc profile so I can say this team looks professional, good project
You're right. I still think they should add the links to the website though.

Do you plan to have a Slack?

i also had trouble finding it without some google-fu, probably because the link the OP has for linkedin goes to facebook (as does the facebook link of course) lol oops!
Other than that, this dosent look too bad at first glance, gonna checkout the Whitepaper and website now, Good Luck! Smiley
1675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin survival on: September 15, 2017, 09:35:16 PM
I voted what i believe: 10% of altcoins now will succeed
SO many new coins are just clones of past successful ideas, the ETH ICOs are nothing short of scams, and every year more and more coins go the dev dump route. ETh is only alive cause Vitalik has no more ETH TO dump hehe
ETH will survive, LTC, LBC, some others in sure
1676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] SmartHoldem Decentralized Gaming Platform on: September 15, 2017, 09:31:58 PM
haha, what year is this?
Anyone who believes this RBGesus help them :/   there's a buncha people, not any links to them being REAL, no links to anything real, just links to a site YOU created :/
Newbie account, BS idea, ya not getting a penny from me, looks like a sad scam attempt to me
1677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CWIS] Crypto Wisdom Coin - Trade wisdom for coins on: September 15, 2017, 09:28:57 PM
Nice man, slowly moving forward on this one Smiley
I admit i didnt mine very much as i dont own Scrypt ASIC's anymore nowadays :/  Why No GPU algo ? Cheesy
Eh im not gonna bitch its your coin haha, i got a few from a rental, so im watching where it all goes
Good Luck!
1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: does anyone know if etheruem is going to switch to POS on: September 15, 2017, 09:26:01 PM
Some of the more later info i have seen on this is here: https://cryptocanucks.com/metropolis-hard-fork-whats-store-ethereum/
Metropolis is kinda here? or "soon", and PoS will be afew months i think yet, as i believe there was talk of a hybrid stage and such beforehand to ease all the poor miners in haha
Time will tell! they tend to delay it again and again ;p
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 15, 2017, 08:56:15 PM
Can someone share this "Sniffdog", i didn't find any threads related to it. How to setup and use it?

https://github.com/Sniffdog/Sniffdogminer/releases

The guy who created it posts on here but he didn't want to create a thread dedicated to it (like claymore, ccminer, etc) because spending time managing the thread would defeat the purpose of the program, which is to save time.

ive seen a few people testing this miner, but haven't tried it myself, gonna check it out tonight i think, see how the profits are.
I been lazy as hell with my Ti's since they Roi'd, so they have just still been sitting on solo skunk, doing 20% above whattomine still, on average, not bad.
Bored tho, gonna check out sniffdog, ill report my results for yall Smiley
1680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][GND] GND Coin - Paving a way to decentralization for miners on: September 14, 2017, 08:02:17 AM
Interesting! i have not been buying into ICO's lately, but this on i could actually USE the token, nice haha, might have to get some Smiley
I have watched GND build their hosting facility on here, spoken with them a few times about hosting, and with the attitude i get from speaking with them, theres no doubt this is one to watch Smiley

Being a Canadian myself, i really just need to find the time to ship my rigs down to your guys, maybe with this token sale the timing is better than ever Smiley

Good Luck! Smiley
