RIP Sigt profits. Down to $4 per day with the recent crash. Still marginally ($0.1-$0.2/day) more profitable than other coins, but it's extra work dumping coins every few hrs, compared to auto sell to BTC on mining pool hub mining other coins.

meh shitcoins like that you mine for the 1st week , make a killing and move on, i ROI'd X5 1080ti in the last 7 days on SIGT Cheesy

but by the time they reach today's price and diff, your basically speculating on a better future price ;p

i have still one rig on it, for it's 1/2ing and end of PoW tho Cheesy  im ROI now so midas take the chances hehe

on these type of coins, do you put sell orders as you mine? when is SIGT going full on POS?
thanks

most of the time i put sells up if looks like people buying, if not very active i just fill buys
SIGT had 30 BTC in buys, has 4 right now, where does everyone think the buys went? ;p
they got filled by miners hehe.   (tho some was maybe pulled with Aug.1st coming as well)

SIGT will be full PoS in 2 months or less.  If it gets developed fully, theres some serious potential for a MOON ;p
i dont speculate much, but i have also missed MANY pumps due to it, HODLERS usually win in crypto Smiley

your post just shows that PoS isn't active yet and has nothing to do with solo mining :/    Huh

Denarius? Are you kidding me? I setup the wallet 3 weeks ago and it stopped working, cannot update it by some reason, so abandoned it. I have feeling that sp_ is fooling us Wink

Not that miners care about stuff like this but DNR is Carsen Klock's newest, soon to be abandoned scamcoin - as it is his signature move after years of not releasing coins or maybe doing so anonymously. Doubt it though, considering his massive ego.

He released dozens of shitcoins which he all abandoned after the initial pump...

But he certainly evolved from shit like Carsencoin [COCK]: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=720684.0

Please fix power issue on skunk, because cards work very hot without overclocking and eat too much power. What oc settings do you use for 1060/1070 cards? I did 100% Power and -500 mem and 1060s runs ~72c, 1070s from 70 to 84

That means the algo is either ASIC friendly and that it's highly optimized and using the cards to close to their full potential.

ya, dont blame SP, he just making money off people with more $$ than math skills hehe
His mods are LEGIT, but math may change that daily Cheesy
1825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: July 28, 2017, 10:35:03 PM
May I just remind you all that all Altcoins are down today, so is the buy order volume. Even Litecoin is down 11% today. It is the BTC fork driving prices down - people are moving funds to BTC today.

sounds good man Cheesy

keep the hype up, let the speculators take the risk while miners dump till 800 sat (current profit margins)

all i can say is TY haha

will miners lose long run? probably, but they dont care as they ROI'd and expanded on the speculator's dollar Cheesy

Atheists claim to be open minded and less prejudicial most of the times. No objection to that in general. You are more than welcome to comment however please do me a favor and answer one question for me?

Is it fuckin* too difficult to read the whitepaper before commenting?

read whitepaper:    you are a typical religion, you promise the world if people will just GIVE you money

*YAWN*,

Anyone  trying out this SIGT  "Skunk-raptor" algo?

Im always liking to try the 1080ti's on the new algos so tried it out

52.5 mh/s on Zotac at 100%TDP -i 25, +150core/ +400 mem
48mh/s seems more viable as far as efficecy goes, 70%ish tdp, the usual for 1080ti ;p

gigabytes max at 48mh/s for me, algos pretty intense on them, cheap bastards haha

dosent have an exchange yet, so i mined a few and will wait now, see where it goes

35 mhs on Strix Gaming os in stock.
Why? SP mod?

Ye Smiley

It has an exchange now, getting doggypiled on a bit more everyday tho, i mined a nice chunk on launch

^^^ agree

@miner14   keep in mind these are technically gamer cards, they weren't really built to run 24/7 at 100% load , thats asking for trouble 6 months+ down the road imo .  course if that dosent matter to you, disregard that, some people are balls to the wall on their cards haha

the great thing about the 1080ti is its such a beast limiting the power really dosent affect hash TOO bad, so the benefits are like 5 to the one bad part (less hash)

Nice Thread - yes I did just read all from the beginning - so thought I'd register, say hi, and tks.

One thing I was wondering, there are some posts concerned with efficiency (hash per watt),
is this because they are more interested in increasing immediate fiat returns?

For me personally I take the cards as far as possible with an eye on max mBTC return, even at lower "fiat returns"
Reason I do this is increasing BTC holdings is priority for me, Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Regards.

for me my farm is a business, and if i lower my costs i increase my profits, so efficiency is very important for me, it makes the difference in 100's of $$ a month in power bills :/

everyones situations different, i have enough revenue sources for BTC i dont worry about increasing my holdings personally, i am ever expanding with my coins (saves me come tax time too hehe)

The coin has already been traded and already mined, but published now. So now it is no longer profitable to extract.

ya these reposts are usually bag holders hoping to create FOMO to make value on their bags to dump

*yawn*
1838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: July 20, 2017, 11:27:58 PM
I can't understand from where are coming these huge amount of hashrate? XZC net hashrate grows very quickly. At the same time, profitability is very low, about 4 times lower than on most other altcoins.
So, this is a botnet, or what is it ??  Huh
77Gh net hashrate it's about 65K pcs gtx 1060 GPUs. Seriously??? and all these miners still mining this coin, while other altcoins offering 3x, 4x higher profit?? smells fishly

Two biggest pools have only ~ 23Gh hashrate! Where the rest net hashrate is sitting? Seems what the resh hashrate is HIGHLY centralised by SOLO miners (botnets)

dude who have server with power 65K GPU? I dont believe someone can get that even from google cloud, aws or azure  without not getting attention from them, it's possible if ASIC, but please someone who have knowledge in that subject please enlgihten us whether it can be ASIC or something else

This is quite alarming although I don't think an ASIC is possible since the algo is very memory intensive, I might be wrong though.

Dev would you be so kind to give your opinion about this matter? I thought the new algo where supposed to make it not profitable for botnets to mine zcoin anymore and im not aware of any asics for zcoin seems highly unlikely, so how can this be? What do you think about this enormous hashrate?

lol, botnets were ALWAYS a part of this coin, remember the private investors who made this possible ? they wanted "aws cloud mining" to be #1 from the start, noone was mad they need to please investors, it's understandable.

ASICs? um no. look at the code ya nub, way too mem intensive for a TODAY asic ;p

Looks like whitepapers and roadmaps are not needed anymore so why not?

yupp, just make it a new algo ;p

SP_ + new algo =  $$$$$       Cheesy
step 2? fuk step 2, the underpants gnomes taught us it is not nessicary!

noobs will FLOCK    Cheesy Cheesy
1840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Be a miner as a dayjob... on: July 20, 2017, 10:43:30 PM
It is entirely possible to do it as a day job, learning to manage several hundred gpu rigs solo takes a little while but worth it.  Gotta get the cooling systems dialed in and the setup that is stable.  It's fun to see the progress how systems improve as you build more facilities.

GPUs for most people have issues for finding them at the moment in large quantities as most don't have the relationships in place to acquire the equipment.  Might want to diversify a bit on the gpu selection as well, some nvidia some AMD.

Yuppp Smiley

this year i am officially filing with my gov as a "Crypto-Currency" miner, and it feels GREAT
i still WORK of course, 10+ rigs takes ALTEAST 2 hours a day to keep on top of the game, but i have FREEDOM, i work from home, i make my OWN money

it can be done boys, just keep on top of your farm and mining is easy really, its just off the bat thats hard sometimes Smiley
