It is
They are mining at full speed while you are waiting...
Sad but true

Although I have no reason to defend them, for the sake of credibility of this forum, Iosha, Do you have any proof that they actually mine with the machines their clientèle ordered? If not, let's stick to the facts. It's completely unnecessary to help them bring their business to the grave, looks like they're quite up to the task.

Hey AMT_ you chose to ignore us from day 1 of our cancellation and demand for refund, however the question remains:

Where's our money. I hope you did not use it to finance subsequent orders, for I think that constitutes a pyramid scheme, now doesn't it?

You have no proof that what AMT is doing constitutes a pyramid scheme, so let's stick to the facts.  Wink Wink Wink

Phinn, I think I said "I HOPE you didn't ...." therefore not actually implying that they are, I was merely asking  Grin

My post was tongue-in-cheek and not meant to diss your post in any way, bud. Apologies!

I have another theory that's not too far-fetched, considering the above.

I count about two dozens orders claimed by users on this forum. Double that amount, and it's not outside the realm of possibility that that's all the orders AMT had, thus mining away on their customer's rigs built using same's money.

Then again, I'm an idiot that desperately needs clinical help, even offering up a pic to prove it.

Your off base on this Phin, you need to examine your facts and think back some more on the series of events going way back...

Not exactly sure what you mean, bud, thus please enlighten me (not meant as a diss, bud).

I'm going by the list of orders claimed above to further my theory, for how was it possible for AMT to ship hundreds of miners (their words, not mine), and miss every single person on the list, most of which have posted on this thread?
2343  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 06, 2014, 05:10:26 PM
Phinnaeus,
Was that your post showing AMT btc address making 25 btc per day?
My memory is short but I am sure I saw some post with such info
10x

I'm not the one that posted it, but did quote it a couple times. The last time I did such, I research that address some more (if it's the same one your asking about), and learnt that others on this thread refuted the claim, ergo it wasn't AMT's bitcoin wallet address.

We might get lucky and see if there's any nodes around Haverford, PA, that's contributing to the network.

Apologies.

To put this reply in perspective, the mortgages weren't taken out to start/finance AMT, but rather taken out quite recently to keep AMT afloat per Joshua Zipkin's own words.

So, they're bankrupt? They spent all the pre-order funds, and more, and still haven't produced the miners that were sold. That means they're selling every miner at a loss. Not a very good business plan.

I'm surprised they still have the money that'll pay for shipping out the miners, let alone employees that are not getting paid minimum wage, thus payroll has to be near $5K USD a week, not counting matching the social security that's required to be deducted and any health insurance premiums that may also need paying. Oh, I forgot that an accountant would have to be paid to keep track of all the myriad expenses come tax time in nine days.

Remember, AMT IS an American company, thus must play by American rules, one of which is that taxes are accessed, thus proper bookkeeping MUST be kept. Speaking of such, I wonder how AMT is planning on documenting the miner they kindly gave me on their tax report sans any receipts. Surely, it's a write off that'll lower their liability unless, of course, Joshua Zipkin doesn't plan on paying any taxes. Recall, he's on record in stating on how to avoid VAT and pay assemblers under the table. Remember Al Capone?

I have a feeling that Josh Zipkin of Haverford, PA, is NOT going to get this lucky:

WTF is Honey Boo Boo ? Shocked

Ain't got a clue, but only if there were some sort of search engine thingy on the internet so that one could hunt it down. Sadly, it probably be years before such is created, let alone it probably be too expensive to use. May I suggest asking one of your Facebook or Twitter fans if any one of them ever heard of such an animal? I'm guessing it's related to a Honey Badger or Wolverine.

Back to that yet-to-be-developed-search-the-internet-thingy. If it is developed, I hope they call it Sextillion, for that's all the internet is good for anyway - SEX & Tillion-like products.

Sometime in the future, we hope people can send money over the internet thingy at very little or no cost. That would be grand! It could be called CoinNets or something similar.

Sent a few mBtc to Bitcoin100 on your behalf for making me laugh Grin

Thanks, bud. I was hoping that my post would bring a smile to others, not meant as a diss toward whom I quoted.

What is your agenda in repeatedly stating that Andreas is running a scam?

Whilst that is of course possible, it seems highly unlikely that one of the best known names in the bitcoin community would destroy their reputation for a relatively small sum.

Will you be posting a public apology after Andreas delivers the funds?

Today is Sunday, thus the USPS is closed, but I do believe that shipping via an M-Bag is the least expensive option.

7:24pm, deer appear and all is normal. At 7:29, a dim light appears. At 7:35, it gets brighter. 7:53, a weird shape appears on the camera.

The deer are lit up brightly, but how? The cameras are infrared and don't emit light. At 7:56, another sharper light appears, then it gets much closer, seemingly focused on the deer. It looks like headlights, but well off the ground and there is no road. It then flies away.

If you have been keeping up, you should easily recall that Josh stated that he and one the partners of AMT, namely, Jim Brown, both mortgaged their homes to JUST bring AMT to this stage, i.e. get all the miners ordered to date out da door.

Don't tell me you actually believe they took out mortgages just for these products.

Yes, we were that excited.

To put this reply in perspective, the mortgages weren't taken out to start/finance AMT, but rather taken out quite recently to keep AMT afloat per Joshua Zipkin's own words.

Also, in case Josh opts not to sign for it, or nobody's in the office, this http://www.chimicles.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/AMT-Bitcoin-Complaint-for-CT-website.pdf

That would be spawn of this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yatEoutYoww and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzt7oCFN3ek (I don't care what anyone says, they're all products of incest, inbreeding or bestiality one...) that this country thought needed to have their own tv show.

Related somewhere in a short line to this guy - the one with the actual talent  Grin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uzae_SqbmDE

and as disturbing as it is, they're the sub level mainstream america (embarrassing as it is). I have no fear that they'll ever end up on this forum, but they'll end up in walmart as a second home...

In re. the first video link: If a person figures out how to market Bitcoin to its 1,140,595 viewers, they, and their family, would never have to work another day in their life, for they've uncovered the nirvana marketing secret.

Then again, it could be just as simple as convincing Honey Boo Boo to embrace Bitcoin, then discuss it to her viewership. But, Honey Boo Boo doesn't hold a candle to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3ROsVTKVDw with her 24,323,618 views.

I think that paying $1,000 USD via BTC to a hundred Honey Boo Boos (only $100,000 USD total would have to be outlaid), Bitcoin users would explode to tens of millions of active users, some of which losing said precious without any way to retrieve them.

Jeff Garzik, a programmer involved with Bitcoin, discusses "in layman's terms" its relevance and implication as a currency, but also how it can be expanded to the transfer of any digital asset.

Apologies to the moderators if this is not the right sub-section.

Thanks for the link, bud. Going to get a fresh cup of java and enjoy.
2357  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: April 06, 2014, 04:00:13 AM
Here are the calcs.
1114W load @ 110V.
90.5% efficient @ 100% load @ 110V.
Internal load of 1008W.

And on 230V
92% efficient
Internal load of 1008W.
External power draw of 1095W.

PSU is specifically designed for 24/7 use @ 50C. Therefore there is a significant thermal safety factor on max load alone - even forgetting the usual one.
Tldr, its k.

We ran a test this morning on our S2 and was pulling 5.2 amps at 208v for a total of 1082 watts. Hopefully the chips are being driven too hard by the cgminer driver and can be calmed down a bit.

This could really though a wrench in my plans for world domination via S2 miners...  Roll Eyes

I thought your plan was BFL Monarch  Roll Eyes.

Is Joshie related to you? rumor says you're family friend :/

James is not related to either Josh - BFL or AMT. Also, don't believe him to be a family friend of either. But, since he's a major part of HashTrade, it's possible that they put in a big order with AntMiner (perhaps AMT and Bitminer, also) to advance their farm, since supposedly deep pockets are behind the venture, having purchase millions of dollars worth of Monarchs from BFL if you recall the press release stating that BitPay was the payment provider.
2358  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 06, 2014, 03:27:14 AM
I think people are giving AMT a break because they have been a little more forthcoming as of late. That or they feel that everything there is to say has been gone over so many times that now it just feels like were talking to CLennel's hand. Wink

AMT
just because people are being nicer is no reason to go silent on us again. How about an update.

What is the status on the 6 board back plane?
What is the ETA on power supplies?
Do you have a plan on how you are going to deal with the MPP due to the further delays?

MPP..... lol.   the plan is to completely ignore it.  That's what they've done so far.  why change now?

To be fair to AMT and Joshua Zipkin, they did address the MPP issue, and the answer was there won't be any MPP.

If you have been keeping up, you should easily recall that Josh stated that he and one the partners of AMT, namely, Jim Brown, both mortgaged their homes to JUST bring AMT to this stage, i.e. get all the miners ordered to date out da door.

Question: Sales of what, thus profit from sales of what, will be used to produce said MPP?

Best Answer: The third principal, Alex Singer, will mortgage his home to build the MPP units.

As any 7 year Penn State business major grade can clearly see is that once the MPP aspect of AMT kicks in and is satisfied, then all the final profits will be used to pay off all three mortgages, with profit left over to be divided among the three principals of AMT to be used for their next venture - making license plates for the state of Pennsylvania.

Congrats, you figured out one of the guys that works in our office. Amazing job! you obviously have no fucking life. Also non of those domains are associated with Joshua, stop making shit up at this point. Do a simple whois check.

Keep it up, post more info about  Alex Singer, or Jake Cohen, or Jim Brown.. Get our Socials and phone numbers and come visit our houses you fucking stalkers.

And come see us in person. It'll never stop us from shipping miners you tard.

Amazing detective work for sure guy.. Give me your address so I can give you a donation.

Invading the personal privacy of our employees is crossing the line.

Jim Brown: Obviously Contrived
Alex Singer: Contrived - First name common, with Surname reminiscent of when Josh was in Nashville, TN.
Jake Cohen: Contrived - Cohen, a Jewish name, and Jake after one of Josh's cat's name.
RWmax: Max is the name of the other cat own by Josh. RWmax claimed on this forum that his real name is Max Goldstein, of which there is another Max Goldstein on this thread, of whom I believe is his real name. I contend that Josh Zipkin took the liberty and borrowed the name from one of AMT's real customers and gave RWmax a fake order number.
Alyssa Trusten: Very Obviously Contrived.
Hanna: No last name, and contrived, borrowed from some Jewish bible tale.

unless the moderators have been over active, this place has been far too quiet of late. nothing from amt, and not much from other daily posters. hmmmmm.

actually, the mods have deleted a couple of my posts.  didnt like my off topic posts, and then my comments about them finally showing up.

To be fair, they were fair when they deleted my posts, for for all it were warranted. If I truly felt such was not the case, I would have re-posted. Come to think of it, I did such once, but quickly realized what part need not be included, so I deleted said part posted it once again.

Thus, I give the mods a +(pick a number between 1 and 2).  Grin Considering the circumstance, they're giving this thread as much latitude as possible, even though they know what we know, you know?

Apologize for the triple posting, for I forgot that editing was not an option in this section, thus you can see that I was editing my reply to be more grammatically/structurally correct.
