2341  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 18, 2016, 01:26:06 PM
In an online job, I would totally accept bitcoin as salary because I could keep it and watch the charts. At the time that I'm hired as someone online, I'm pretty sure I'm staying at home and can watch the price of bitcoin.

If I'm going to be paid in my day job with bitcoin, I don't think I would accept that. It's been a traditional thing that we get paid in fiat when it comes to real life. I don't think I would be able to exchange the bitcoin right away and there's also a chance that I get paid with the rate of a pump price and when I get home, I would only be able to sell it for a lower value.
2342  Economy / Digital goods / Re: PokemonGo Hatching Service [AutoBuy] | $1/km on: July 18, 2016, 10:37:21 AM
The problem here is also that people will be scared of you stealing their accounts. I think you should provide some form of reassurance that you won't steal people's accounts, however that may be, perhaps providing a collateral, or escrow of some sort?

This is basically a lazy phishing attempt with some details added in it. OP tried to make this look like an advertisement or something, but he only wants to get your password. It's really clever of him that he would also make 1$ for every one who bites this deal. Nevertheless, OP would just use a fake GPS to do this. PokemonGo is just starting so there's a big chance that they would ban people permanently who have abused this method.
2343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: July 18, 2016, 10:24:26 AM
No, gambling is not for kid, teaching kid gambling is going to ruin their morale and big chances they will be addicted Shocked

Knowing how to gamble wouldn't exactly ruin one's morale regardless of age. Kids might be able to understand the mechanics of the game but they wouldn't be able to understand that they are able to become so into it that it would affect their mental health. Gambling can be learned online and can be done online. TBH, Internet can change a person a lot, be it a kid or be it a grown-up. I suggest that the parents out there shouldn't let their kid stay on the Internet because they might stumble upon something about gambling and become really into it.
2344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: July 18, 2016, 08:08:23 AM
In my country (Philippines) online gambling is illegal. Gambling is highly not recommended for kids. I think some site was make some restriction for Kids, when there can found when register.

Since when did it become illegal in the Philippines? I know a lot of gamblers and they don't even use VPN to hide their identity to play online gambling. Although there are gambling sites where there's like a contract in the Terms & Conditions that you are above 18 years old or 21 years old depending on your country's jurisdiction. If you accept those terms, your government wouldn't have any say about suing them or something
2345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MOST COMMON MISTAKES OF A NEWBIE on: July 18, 2016, 06:22:05 AM
I've been using haspower cloud mining (i think it's that one) and I've made a slight profit, after a month or so after I've completely forgot about it. But I wouldn't recommend using cloud mining, too much of a scam sites.

Having income from Cloud Mining sites are so rare these days. I think you have invested in the site days after they have officially launched it. Good thing for you because most people who invested in cloud mining sites have realized that it's a scam after investing on it. All of them wants to get away from the site after realizing that.
2346  Economy / Reputation / Re: "The Pharmacist" need some madical assistance on: July 17, 2016, 11:59:36 AM
why this *....* now ignore this man from red trust?username: grim007
Omegasun  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1550020.0

You were selling an account, that's why you got the red trust from The Pharmacist. In the thread that you have brought up, grim007 and Omegasun didn't even place a bid. It's cool because you did some actual effort to find someone that posted in the Auction section who didn't get any red trust from The Pharmacist. Just consider The Pharmacist's red trust as a "trendy thing" in this forum and move on. A lot of users has it.
2347  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 17, 2016, 11:35:57 AM
Another campaign by Lutpin, everyone. Smiley

HeatLedger has just started their signature campaign. The payment is fixed/weekly which is quite rare nowadays. Here's the link to the signature campaign thread --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1552820. Pretty sure this campaign will run well as it is managed by Lutpin. You have to post atleast 20 times in a week to get paid.

Here's the payrate:
Quote
Legendary Members: 0.040BTC per week
Hero Members: 0.036BTC per week
Senior Members: 0.032BTC per week
Full Members: 0.028BTC per week

Added! I would really appreciate it if someone would help me do the detailed information. Here's the pastebin link --> http://pastebin.com/8dd7YEeq Please inform me if I have made a mistake or if I missed something.
2348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: July 16, 2016, 08:47:22 AM
Without any doubt, bitcoin is used for illegal activities. There's no reason why not. Any currency can be used for illegal activities, be it dollars, euro, etc. As long as it's money, you have no idea where it came from. The penny that you're holding right now might be from a drug dealer, serial killer, etc.

In the dark net, bitcoin is widely used because of the anonymity privileges it has. They can transfer it to their bank accounts without having any trace that the bitcoin they have was acquired by doing illegal stuffs.
2349  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earn 0.5 btc on: July 16, 2016, 08:27:20 AM
he just needs to get the money, you give it to him,he deposits in some gambling site and do all in on 2x payout to get it fast Cheesy

But that's not 100% sure win, of course. The chances of you losing all that money is the same as when you're the one who placed the bet. Not sure why would you have to give it to your friend first if you yourself can place the bet.

Of course he is an addict,it is just stupid to rely on gambling at any point.

But it's also pretty stupid to rely on somebody else when you can do it yourself. People who are giving money so other people can give you profits are people who are too lazy to do the actual work by themselves. You should know that your "friend" can run away your 0.5BTC, right? You can't trust people nowadays specially in the bitcoin world unless you know that certain person in real life and even if he scam you, he can never get away from it in real life.
2350  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 16, 2016, 08:13:56 AM
I have received my payment from YoCoin so I'm changing their status on the table from PNYC to CFNP. Here's the pastebin --> http://pastebin.com/cq8rrpFi and here's the changes I've made since Mitchell's last update:

Code:
July 16, 2016 - Moved Yocoin from PNYC to CFNP, Changed Escrow status of Yocoin from Y to Y/N
July 15, 2016 - Changed the Escrow status of 777coin and Bitvest from N to Y/N, Moved ICOO, Added IDS Option
2351  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 15, 2016, 11:41:28 AM
OP. How does the LIR campaign fit into your list
?

I'm not the OP but since Mitchell and Shorena is pretty busy right now, I'll answer your question. Did you mean how does the LIR not fit into the list? It's because this list is only for signature campaigns that pay in BTC and LIR campaign pays, well, in LIR coin. Thus, they should be listed in the alt coin instead.

First off, as I'm acting as both, manager and escrow, the correct status would be Y/N (as the ICOO campaign), rather than the plain Y.

Done

Additionally, and this is something you'd have to check back with others (Mitchell preferably), IMO at current standings, we should give a warning about joining betcoin.ag (their account is in deep red trust, I think this is a reason to warn users about advertising their brand).

And done. Smiley
2352  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 15, 2016, 11:34:30 AM
777Coin and Bitvest shouldn't have the need of an red asterisk anymore.
I've secured enough funds to ensure payments for both campaigns for the next few rounds and I'll be making the payments on point.
Also, their escrow status should be changed to Y/N as a result, I've linked the post with signed messages above.

It's funny because when I was uploading in pastebin the final edit which includes what you have mentioned above, your message has appeared. Just a matter of seconds. Smiley If you have other concerns regarding the new table, please let me know so I can edit the table. Smiley
2353  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 15, 2016, 11:19:30 AM
I just checked the new signature campaign. They modified their payrate:

Quote
Campaign Payout
Legendary/Hero Members: 0.0005BTC per post
Senior Member: 0.0004BTC per post
Full Member: 0.0003BTC per post
Member: 0.0002BTC per post

Here's the new table --> http://pastebin.com/LJDgzmYa And also here's the updates that I did today just in case someone wants to do the complete version:
Code:
July 15, 2016 - Changed the Escrow status of 777coin and Bitvest from N to Y, Moved ICOO, Added IDS Option
2354  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earn 0.5 btc on: July 14, 2016, 01:10:53 PM
0.5 btc is quiet a high amount per month specially after we have seen good price increase in last couple of months.I thought i would get to know some ways to earn btc in this thread when i read the topic. The most common answer is i think signature campaign. But not possible to earn that much amount with signature campaign.
yeah, but it depends on what type of job do you choose.
If you do programming,0,5 btc is actually almost nothing after 1 month, but you can also earn more than 0,5 per month choosing good sig campaining.

How much are you earning with coinroll, posting 1000 posts in 5 days?

I was told  "The (coinroll) campaign is 0.25 usd per post, and 0.0005 usd * total posts daily.
(i don't understand the "0.0005 usd * total posts daily" bit)
Looks like $50 per day. $250 for 1000 posts.
Will coinroll really pay that much?

Can we all do this?

So basically hermanhs09 has found his own way to earn 0.5 BTC in 7 days. It's spamming the boards and posting 1000 posts in 5 days. That's ~200 posts per day. Does he even sleep? 1400 posts in 7 days x 0.25 each + the daily bonus, he surely have 0.5 BTC per week. Let us see if Namworld (the campaign manager) would pay his senseless posts. It only takes him seconds/minutes to make a post. That's the problem with signature campaigns that doesn't have a maximum post limit, people just post any word that comes out of their mind and don't care what other people would say about the behaviour.
2355  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When right timing to join signature camp? on: July 14, 2016, 01:03:01 PM
I think one should start joining signature campaign once he understands most of the things about bitcoin. If you know nothing, then you can surely can't answer anything. You should also be familiar with the forum's rules and regulations so you wouldn't get a negative trust from any DT members.

If you're a newbie but you do have all the things that I have mentioned above, then you can start joining signature campaign right away. It's just that, it's really rare to find a signature campaign that accepts Newbies, Jr. Members, and Members. Some people had to wait until Full Member before they were able to join a signature campaign. Nevertheless, you can always look for a new opening in the Services board and see if there's a free space for your rank. Good luck!
2356  Economy / Services / Re: Pokemon Go Trainer for hire in London! 0.1 BTC per hour! Catch 'em all! on: July 14, 2016, 12:59:17 PM
0.1 BTC per hour? You've got to be kidding. Anyone who has a phone can go outside and catch Pokemons. If the fair rate for playing PokemonGo is 0.1 BTC per hour then I might as well ditch my day job and just do PokemonGo instead. Most people earn 10$-15$/per hour in first world countries, and you charge ~65$/per hour to play PokemonGo?

And also, after a month or two, the prices/value of pokemon would reduce. People are only paying money for PokemonGo because it's still new and they want to be the first one to be powerful in the game.
2357  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Deep web bitcoin accounts on: July 14, 2016, 12:49:21 PM
I think it's a scam just like everybody else says in here. Why would someone sell a bitcoin wallet in exchange for a lower value? Bitcoin is anonymous and they can just send it to a new wallet and withdraw the money to their local bank. If they want to remain anonymous even after withdrawing the money, then they can just make other people do it.

I do understand why some people are selling Paypal accounts for a lower value, but not bitcoins (I've never seen one, though.) I guess if you purchase a "bitcoin wallet" with BTC balance in it, the seller might just send you a malware/virus and steal all your passwords. It's deep web after all, you can't trust anyone.
2358  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan needed on: July 14, 2016, 12:37:29 PM
Ok thanks but how do I get a message that is signed, I don't think I have any signed message or is a message with a signature?

If you're using blockchain --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1467458.0 If you're using a different wallet, then this might help --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345. I do get the feel that you're going to use your account as a collateral that's why you're asking how to sign a message. Your account is not even worth 20$ and collateral should have a value higher than the loaned amount.
2359  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2016, 12:14:54 PM
I did lose some Bitcoins because of gambling but I didn't lose any Bitcoins because of my carelessness. I might be really clumsy with things in real life but when it comes to handling my bitcoin wallet, I'm really really cautious. And also, I rarely do transactions here in the bitcoin world.
2360  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MOST COMMON MISTAKES OF A NEWBIE on: July 14, 2016, 11:18:56 AM
I think one of the not-so-common mistakes of a newbie is to buy an account in here for the sole purpose of signature campaign. Some people are referred to this forum because of the signature campaign. They thought it would be easy so they bought a high member account upfront without knowing the rules and regulation of the forum. It's very likely that he would get banned before he gets his ROI.
