I know I bash Americans a lot ( Partly because it's just so funny seeing them riled Tongue ) but there are all kinds of adults who, honestly are quite often religious, that take this amazing pride in being stupid and wrong about something, it doesn't matter how completely wrong their belief is despite the amount of evidence piled up against them they somehow seem to think that it makes them look good to act like complete morons.

The only reason people point out the Americans a lot is because they're the ones who do a great job of being an example of this kind of behaviour.

. They believe the bible is literally true despite the evidence against them

. They think homosexuals are evil or there is something mentally wrong with them to be that way

. They think vaccinations cause brain damage

. They deny global warming exists

You get all kinds of stupid though from different countries, like I said, it's just Americans tend to exaggerate this stupidity to the extremes, the only other country I know that practices this kind of thing on such a massive scale is maybe Russia.
What are you talking about. The summer wasn't hot at all, therefore global warming doesn't exist.  Roll Eyes Cheesy
These things sometimes tend to be fun, but sometimes very sad.

For OP: Did Neil Armstrong really go to the moon?
Fixed.

Like I said, they actually take pride in believing this bullshit, but there you go, stupid people will be stupid, in a way they are actually living proof of evolution because they don't use their brains as much as other human beings do and refuse to adapt.

Many times ignorance comes from people living in poverty and not having had the chance to have an education.
It's not as easy as saying most humans are stupid and deserve to die. : /
Well since this is usually associated with the term 'stupid Americans' (obviously not all of them, but many examples can be found; no offence to anyone)..Do they not have access to (good) education?
Where I got my own education is a pretty bad place. Focused on history which is useless to me. So it doesn't necessarily come from that.
All one needs is internet to start expanding his views outside of his local community.

I've never even considered doubting the moon landing.

Starting to see a pattern here in what people like and dislike, I take it you guys complaining about the man-love jokes are Americans? Tongue
2344  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Student activists demand California teach sexual consent to kindergartners on: December 30, 2014, 07:05:32 AM
I love the people immediately jumping up and down saying we shouldn't be teaching them these things because they're children, but frankly it's precisely because they're children and they're young they should be taught this stuff because they don't know any better and when they grow up obviously they see other people going around acting like douchebags and think it's acceptable.

By shielding them from knowledge you're always going to end up exposing them to the very thing you're trying to protect them from because they won't even know what it is or how to combat it, by the way, I also think 12 year olds and above should get the vote.

I doubt they will have enough energy density to be viable. Something like Hydrogen powered cars would be more practical.

Hydrogen fuel cells are definitely a better idea, probably the best I've seen so far.

They seem to have a hard time perfecting it. I've heard maintenance is extreme and expensive.

I know some cities have run hydrogen powered buses for evalution and testing. I think many have been parked and are for sale.

It's just a matter of getting it all worked out, putting more time into it, like with most of these things, I'm sure a lot of technology out there was considered to expensive until someone took the time to tinker with it and come up with more efficient solutions.

I don't know why people are hating on the film really, were you really expecting something sophisticated and intricate to piss off a dictator? Tongue I actually enjoyed it, but then again I have a crude sense of humour, it also takes a lot of balls to make something like that you could actually get asssassinated for.
2348  Other / Off-topic / Re: did neil armstrong really went to moon? on: December 29, 2014, 01:47:27 PM
Of course we really went to be moon. The evidence is right there in your post: "to be ahead of Russia". Guess what: Russia did not like the USA being ahead, which is why they were monitoring US space launches very closely. The could see the launches on radar and triangulate the radio signals once they were out of radar range. If there was any evidence at all of fakery, the Russians would have been the first to call bullshit. Yet that has not happened.

There is no better evidence or peer review than a hated enemy acknowledging something you've done Wink

Like I said, it is the argument of fascists, what's alarming is we regularly see this logic applied when there are people out there who will actually organise and vote for self-governance, nobody thinks twice about the language that these mainstream politicians are using.
2350  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why is Africa stuck in the stone age? on: December 28, 2014, 08:52:32 PM
Quote
Fact is - you are unable to govern yourself

Those are the words of a fascist, fyi, I'm white and from the UK, people like you need to have a proper read up on history instead of blindly believing what priests, school teachers and politicians try to teach you. To me there is nothing more arrogant and patronising than somebody claiming that somebody else isn't allowed to self-govern or have their own opinions and therefore should be ruled over instead.

Let's be honest, would you put anything past a matriarch? They would gladly go around lobbing the heads off any males who didn't immediately bow down and worship them if they could get away with it Tongue
2352  Other / Off-topic / Re: *Another* missing plane. on: December 28, 2014, 09:18:38 AM
Tell that to the passengers of the Costa Concordia. You're 40x more likely to die on a ferry than on a plane:

Fucks sake >_<
2353  Other / Off-topic / Re: *Another* missing plane. on: December 28, 2014, 08:38:18 AM
I suppose, but the thing is, a sinking ship is a lot easier to escape from than being trapped in a metal box which is hurtling towards the ground, that's where my logic is going Tongue
2354  Other / Off-topic / Re: *Another* missing plane. on: December 28, 2014, 08:07:33 AM
This is happening far too often for it to be a coincidence, planes don't just randomly drop out of the sky, if I ever go to Japan I'm tempted to go there by boat to be honest if this keeps up.
2355  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why is there so much poverty in Brazil? on: December 27, 2014, 09:26:36 AM
Is it due to the semi fascist government misallocating resources or is it something else? obviously the drug laws do not help which create a problem when there shouldn't be one.

This is a complicated subject, but it is something that I would like hopefully some native Brazilians to tell me, other than my Brazilian family.

Thanks!
Most of country can't be rich as USA.
That's a nature.

BHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!

America rich Cheesy that's rich, you seriously think all that paper is worth something?

I think he means the standard of living on TV.

Some people really are just fooled and brainwashed :S it's quite sad sometimes, but other times it's mostly hilarious.

You wouldn't be a social conservative would you? I noticed they get particularly aggressive around here, they don't like us talking about homosexuals rights and free speech, they also tend to foam at the mouth quite a bit whenever we talk about economics. Wink
2358  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Max Keiser on this forum? on: December 27, 2014, 09:00:47 AM
No idea, he might have a secret account lol Cheesy I know Amir Taaki and Cody Wilson have their own accounts here apparently but that's about it.

I've never heard of those two, who are they?

Fellow Anarchists Wink They're working on projects like Dark Wallet and Cody Wilson invented the 3D printed gun.

It's Sony, even under the threat of nuclear war they'd still care more for their licensing and copyright laws.
