2361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can old trading strategies work again? on: March 20, 2023, 08:31:15 PM
Thinking about how trading strategies need to always be changed and how one strategy may not work for a long time, what do you do with the strategy that you are about to change. do you just forget about it completely once a new strategy starts working for you? or do you keep it in remembrance for the future. If you have experienced this before; has any old trading strategy that you decided to apply work for you?
Just retest it every time you think that something is changing. We can go back on it every time we replace it with a new one.

Is it possible that old strategies may work in the future again?
Yes, very possible. They may seem to look old but strategies are just there and they'll never be obsolete unless the market entirely changes but it seems not. That's why these old strategies if ever you've got one might still work and thus, you can't just forget about it when it has come to the point of time that it has helped you a lot from your trades.
2362  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is for the important things on: March 20, 2023, 07:59:27 PM
There are some things that are not really necessary to I just want to stay in a comfortable house, not really big and not really small, I want to have like two nice cars one for my wife and one for myself, am having a business am running already, I will want to expand it, I don’t need any branded drinks, to me it’s just waste of money and I don’t need gold, am not the type that values gold.
We all want to be secured with all of these possessions that we're hoping to have and that's the majority of things that everyone wants to have. But agree that it's all about how we're going to spend our money on these important things that will make us convenient and confident with tackling our daily lives. And for those people that are struggling in life, they may see the beauty of it if we're able to help them and show them that we've been there and a lot has changed because we're able to help them and soon that situation will also happen to them. They might be in a bad situation right now but it won't be the same forever and soon, they'll pass on the blessings to the others that they'll encounter and they'll remember all the good things happened to them so, it's just like passing all the good vibes and sharing it with others through helping if it's necessary to the right people.
2363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Low demands as bitcoin declined in price. on: March 20, 2023, 07:29:55 PM
I'm also confused about why OP is telling that the demand for bitcoin and its price is correlatively low because they're not. But I do agree with the latter part about what he said that it will be better no matter what happens. I'm not so sure if this is because after hitting $28k it didn't proceed too quickly to $29k which he might be thinking that it's going to happen so fast without any stopover. But let's come to that point that if it's looking low based on what he said then we're seeing that due to the major issues that these banks have shown lately, people are coming up with the idea that by having bitcoin, you have your own wealth with you wherever you are and there's no worry that it's gonna file bankruptcy since it's decentralized. Anyway, if by some little movements of bitcoin's price we're too discouraged to think that it's an actual decline, look where it has come from.
2364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arbitrum Token Initial Price Speculation on: March 20, 2023, 06:57:29 PM
Are those wallets and balances that have got 89k in ARB tokens something real? I've seen people posting their stuff and eligibility for this token and even if the token just goes $1, that's already a massive win for those people that will receive thousands of this token.
I guess those speculations about it starting with $1 is good enough and that's what you can get from the initial price of it once it's already in the market. Many will sure start to dump ARB once it's being launched and distributed all of the tokens for the eligible participants since many exchanges have already expressed their listing for this token.
Those are real since some hunters are using multiple wallet and yes, it is expected to dump right away as many will take their profits as much as possible, official listing price are not sure as well but if its a $1, that can still be a huge profit to many. I was not able to participate on their airdrop, maybe I can just wait for its price to normalize if I really see good opportunity here, there’s a good hype but I know it can be more risky if you will buy at the listing date.
Yeah, it s for sure a big profit for those that have taken a lot of it and I've just seen some updates of it that Binance is going to list it as well so that's for sure big liquidity is coming to this token. I'd probably just buy and profit from it while it's early but still, we need to keep researching.

I see this too, but I know there are truths that are even scarier than that. Some MMO teams have exploited the ARB campaign before, some groups that I know of they released thousands of wallets that received the airdrop.
And not only from arb but I see in the arbitrum ecosystem there are also a lot of projects with airdrops.
Just a little calculation, I can see that they can earn millions of dollars after each airdrop event like this. Indeed, with the normal use of tasks, professional cheaters can absolutely earn huge amounts of money, indeed this is a way to earn a lot of money.
Well, they know how they're making money on it and no doubt with first, the developers are going to earn huge on this. And for those cheaters that do abuse airdrops like this, it's temporary that they'll earn quite big but soon, they'll be caught and might disqualified with the distribution. If, the team conducts another testing and checking of the eligible participants.
2365  Economy / Economics / Re: Scarcity of money on: March 20, 2023, 06:27:42 PM
When a country has a good economy then it means that there's sufficient money in circulation for their people. There's no actual scarcity of money for the entire world, there is even a bunch supply of money for most countries. What's scarce is the opportunities, resources, and land.
That's for sure that we've got limited for those things and that's making it hard for those people, especially in those countries that have limited opportunities as they barely survive every day. The resiliency of these people is greater than what can we think of because they've used to living like that even if it's the hardest.
And this is especially true if the rich which have a lot of fiat decide to change the form of their wealth and begin to buy real estate and other assets which are in short supply, this increases the demand for them and reduces its supply which increase their price, making even harder for the average person to acquire those assets, and with the economy being in such a bad shape I do not see this changing soon and it seems as if things are bound to get even worse.
That's what they really are doing since the age of time. They understand that if their wealth stays on fiat, it will be lessened made by inflation and that's why it's best to put it into more scarce assets like real estate properties.
They're wise and I guess we're also wise just like them by investing in bitcoin because we do get the same thoughts of having limited supply and there will be only a few of it that will be distributed globally and as of now, we're close to reaching that 21M supply but it will only be fulfilled a hundred years later which is for the few bitcoins that's remaining to be mined. Well, on this age, we have to look at those opportunities and whether we're not genius as them, we just need to understand the basics of it, scarcity and being the first to step on those opportunities are a great advantage for us.
2366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Anyone Think Luna Will Recover? on: March 20, 2023, 05:58:50 PM
of course not, because in my opinion there is no hope for Luna anymore, so if I were you, then I would not think about investing in Luna, because it is difficult to get profit from invest in Luna, since many investors have been disappointed with Luna and don't believe to invest in Luna again, therefore I'm sure that Luna won't be able to recover or maybe the percentage for Luna can recover by 0.1% (this is my opinion).
There are investors that want to play in a hot tub through reinvesting into these projects that have been already proved to be a scam and no signs of recovering.
Well, the thinking is that who knows if it recovers and then they hold thousands or millions of it. That's why it's like the thinking that they'll be getting a jackpot with these projects.
But IMHO, instead of getting into these projects like Luna or Lunc or UST, it's pretty much saving time if they just avoid and ignore projects that have already collapsed.
2367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can we return the stolen wallet? on: March 20, 2023, 05:21:42 PM
Hello guys long time not see, my wallet was got hacked. All my token was stolen to the hacker wallet
i dont know why but can i still secure it? i hope you guys can help me. Thanks you
and for hacker i hope you have some beautiful children that die from cancer
Sorry, you've lost it forever. Transactions in cryptocurrency wallets are irreversible and that's why if somebody hacks it, it's gone and you can't retrieve it anymore unless the hacker sends you back the wallet or the FBI arrests the hackers and finds the hacked funds in their wallets so they can release it back to their victims. Can you remember the activities that you've done prior to the hacking of your wallet? Because if you can remember what you've done, you can trace back that it's the reason for your being hacked. Did you enter some airdrops or wallet giveaways that have asked you to enter your private keys and seeds? Because if you do then you've been a victim of phishing forms that have been hidden in the form of airdrops and this is a common style of those hackers. So, think of where you've fallen and from there maybe you can have an idea that they're the cons.
2368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think that there are Dark secrets in every Successful Business on: March 20, 2023, 04:44:45 PM
Especially if corrupt officials own the casino business, he will surely seek the protection of corrupt officials of a higher rank with a record of paying bribes every month. So every casino owner will hide their dark secret from the public and keep it away as if their business is legal.
I am thinking of players on this one. It's not just all about the owners that are doing dark secrets within their business premises but also the players that have been using the gambling industry with whatever they're doing. And one of the activities that can be said of being a dark secret for players is money laundering. Although this isn't limited to them because even owners can do this. But generally speaking, this is one of the most known activities that one can do and hide from the public. But if it's being hidden from the public, it means that they're involved with some illegal activities inside and outside the casinos.
One thing certain about money is that, getting it is not easy, and for many, it is what rules their world, this is why we see alot of people out there desperate to make money, those who have the heart and mind have gone diabolical, while others have gone into illegal stuffs, this are two different ends of the same rope.
Gambling in itself is an industry filled with lots of crimes, this is one of the reasons why most of our fathers consider a gambler as a criminal in majority of our societies, and this is also the reason why gamblers are stigmatized in the society..

In an industry where majority are into one crime or the other, it is hard for those who play legit to not drone in the water, and if they eventually survive, their business always stand the test of time.
Yeah, that belief stays there and it will never be gone. That's why anything that can be thought connected to gambling and illegal activities are things that can't be changed and that's already in the minds of our fathers thinking that if we gamble, it's assumed that we're also doing the same thing even if we're not engaged with those. We can't blame them as the past generations have been acting like that and those activities really were happening so, that thinking is hard to erase even if we tell them that we're not like that and we're just simple gamblers that want to have fun and at least earn some and win some. Especially today with modern technology, gambling online is probably one of the things that the old generation don't want to engage with because effects of it are just the same on their thoughts.

2370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Amazing Crypto Trading Signal Channel on: March 20, 2023, 12:09:43 PM
I wouldn't go on your channel but it's a good idea if you're going to post here updates and picks that you've got. Since most of us like to stay in the forum and don't want to visit channels that we're not yet familiar with. It's best to give those predictions and signals that you've got on that stay in this thread. And from there, you'll get to show what you're up to, and everyone we'll see if you've got good accuracy and you're proving us wrong with what we're saying about trading signals. Because in reality, most of them are truly the same and do have one goal and aim from their community and members. If you know what I mean, you'll understand why everyone is thinking that it's just a useless thing to be part of any trading group if no informative posts are there and just mere predictions and shills.
2371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Hardcore crypto project that you trust like the Bible? on: March 20, 2023, 11:36:11 AM
Ambitions project that aims to solve major problem; - sometimes a problem that we may not even face in the near future...
Honestly, many of these projects that are trying to solve in reality, there's no need for them to solve it as there's no problem or there's already a solution on it that has been made by bitcoin.
There's no need for them to make a project that deals with those specific problems because what they did is just trying to make a profit out of it while they think that people are foolish enough to believe what they say.
Kind of harsh reality but that's it, if there are no investors that are only giving attention to those projects through marketing and good words at the beginning then there won't be new generation of projects that's no use at all.
2372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Share me your AI watchlist on: March 19, 2023, 10:55:06 PM
I've got a list in my head but still unsure if I'll buy any of them because it seems that this AI thing is on hype but then, I'm not so optimistic about it. I've got but I haven't done my research yet for each of them or if I did, they're just little efforts. And that's why I'm not going to give that list because if someone believes in it and it turns out that project turns into a dump, I might be blamed or someone's investment might get crapped out of that opinion. I do agree with some insights here that AI is still on the phase of being questionable if it'll be at its best together with blockchain and crypto.
2373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Strangest Bet You Have Ever Had? on: March 19, 2023, 10:20:08 PM
Here in our country, this still happens to this date. If you've heard or been aware of the spider fight? That's what of the strangest bet I guess that someone from other countries will hear from us.

I do not see spider fights or insect battles as strange because I often see them in my place.  I even sponsored one of my neighbors to buy a good one and raise it to pit against others but sadly my neighbor do poorly. LOL
Yeah, it's not strange for us but in other countries that probably have heard this for the first or second time, it's totally outrageous and strange for them.

I remember also the battle of beetles. Where we put bubble gum on each other's back while both of them lays equally and whoever flips the other end wins.

This thread has made me remember not just all of those strange bets but also what a colorful childhood I've got.
2374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the first success story on: March 19, 2023, 09:55:01 PM
The same story with many of the other forum members here. We've tackled like with friends and relatives and said that they should buy bitcoin but they ended up ignoring us.
And those few that have listened to us have been enjoying the ride and made profits along the way. It's not an easy market because it moves a lot so fast and newbies can't bear that type of roller coaster ride. But it's better for them to experience such rides so they will understand why we like bitcoin a lot as an asset and investment because that's how where things are being appreciated when it's got a bumpy road and we all know that it won't be always the same.

Just like cock fighting, this is what most of our fellow gambler countrymen are busy with and it has become a trend and I think it is still right now.
Bets could be more than a thousand bucks and I did it a long time ago I was like a noob betting on spiders that I don't even know if they've been into fights before.
2376  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anyone felt lost in pursuit of financial freedom ? on: March 19, 2023, 08:54:54 PM
when you actually make a lot of money, you'll find yourself in a position that is either stressful or boring.
Why so?
Someone who's got a lot of money got a lot of freedom and can do almost everything he'd want because of what he's got. I wouldn't find myself in a boring situation or stressful life when I make a lot of money. I know how to spend it well and I know how to put a part of it into investments.
That's the part which is more fun because you see what you've worked hard for and you don't want any penny of it to be spent that you won't enjoy. Sometimes there could be things that we'd spent on worthless, useless, and nonsense things but that's it. You just have to appreciate what you've got and find a way to spend it wisely.
2377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What role does tokenomics play in successful altcoins ? on: March 19, 2023, 08:19:20 PM
Of course, they do have a vital role in a project because that becomes one of the factors and basis of an investor's why we invest in it. Without such, do you think that an investor will be interested to throw money into it? I don't think that someone's gonna love to invest money with a project that don't have it. Although there are reckless investors that it won't matter to them whether they've got have or none of it because all they care about is the short term of lifespan of a project which can be seen through its hype and trend.

2380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth could perform better due to deflationary on: March 18, 2023, 09:47:50 PM
Can Ethereum surge past Bitcoin in this upcoming Bull Market? The supply has dropped a lot and it's no more inflationary, I think with this, Ethereum will make a new all-time high we have never seen before, do you think I am wrong?
If that's the reasoning then before that upgrade that Ethereum made, bitcoin is already known to be a deflationary cryptocurrency. In that case, if bitcoin surges, ETH goes with the flow, and yes possible that it can surge more than bitcoin but I'll hope more for bitcoin. But if bitcoin doesn't move at all then that means that altcoins including ETH will not move at all. That's why all of the altcoins including ETH are reliant on bitcoin's motion and even if there will be altcoins that will surge more than bitcoin, they're gonna do it temporarily. There can be an exception with ETH as it's at the top of the altcoins and very likely will stay there.
