Eto yung one of the main na reasons at mag bayad gamit ang ibang untrusted "payment gateway" which is nakukuha ang mpin ng gcash, parang may logger or parang phishing pero gumagana.
1423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Join Pi Network and be a part of the crypto revolution on: June 16, 2023, 11:55:13 PM
I don't know how people are selling Pi network coin, where team claimed still they didn’t launch their main net. Right now it can't be transfer in a wallet to other. It’s just hyped when a fake PI coin is listed in the several exchanges. Also i think still there are no real value of Pi Coin, it’s kinda scam project to me.
They see how much value they've got but there's no way to sell that. Those that have been into exchanges are not really the PI coins that these people are mining.
There's no way for one to sell it and even the PI developers themselves are just keep on giving false hope to the users that have thinking they'll be able to cash out and sell these tokens one day in the future.
1424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you tired of waiting for the jump? Pls Hodl on: June 16, 2023, 11:20:12 PM
I couldn't assure myself how long I could wait but there is one thing I was sure of, and that is to sell when I gain a profit. Because for me, waiting for too long is not good, and why we should have to wait for $100k when we already have the chance to sell them at $70k (as an example), and we are not wasting time and missed the opportunity? Holding is necessary but not all the time we should have to wait for the price that was even hard to reach. We also have to be smart as investment is not all about holding but also selling with a profit.
Everyone has their own targets of when we should sell. I agree to what you've said that if you can make profit on $70k then you don't have to wait any longer for $100k if you're not going to wait for it. While for the others, they'll take any potential opportunity that they see like selling on $70k and then buys back and then will wait again for further increases like if it will reach to $100k. For me, I'm not tired of holding and this is like the market that I like and willing to wait since my patience has already been ticked in by a few bear markets that we've experienced. But you do your own strategy and what makes you profitable and content for every sale or trade that you do.
1425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your honest review of the Demo account? on: June 16, 2023, 10:52:03 PM
There's not that much to think of demo accounts, they're good as testing features of the exchange where you're about to trade. And it's actually good marketing honestly. Because when someone new tries it out and he's winning into his demo account, that will make him encourage to deposit and later on do the trade. But we all know that the actual trading is entirely different from the typical that we know of. That's why those that have lesser knowledge in trading and are still new are likely the ones that are losing more.
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 16, 2023, 10:19:39 PM
many folks have said that he (Jokic) brought the playing style of Europe towards the NBA.
And the truth is that from other region are the ones that's dominating the NBA on its own land.
When I saw one article about how the Miami Heat was defeated twice by a European, it made me smile. Dirk Nowitzki and Nikola Jokic. Truly, the NBA today is changing, thanks to the Europeans that had been coming into the league. Who knows, maybe Doncic is next. Another player who plays differently from other players. No such thing as the "hops" or "speed" but he can definitely score inside by only using his brain and his strong body. Vice versa of Ja Morant who is relying upon his speed and hops.

Nikola Jokic changed the way we look at NBA and especially at the younger players who never saw how Magic, Bill, and Larry did it. It's almost like this, the Joker revived a strong big man, not like a "Shaq" big man but more of a versatile big man. And, I have no doubts Jokic will keep on passing more records from way back some of us were born.
It just seems that the NBA isn't marketing Jokic for some reason but it's good that these Europeans have made a lot of changes to NBA's basketball.
Whilst those teams aren't focused on having a big man that can do almost everything, shoot outside, assist, get free-throw shooting, rebounds. Almost everything.
The Nuggets is so blessed to have Joker and they've managed to take care of him until they've finally got their first ever NBA title.
1427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 16, 2023, 09:53:25 PM

Well, it's official.

Ja Morant has be suspended for 25 games: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/37863825/sources-grizzlies-ja-morant-suspended-25-games-nba

In my opinion, he got lucky. Many outlets spoke of a much higher punishment, even up to 1 season. The number which circulated the most was 30 games. So now it's "just" 25 games, seems like a good deal for him.

If he will learn something from the whole situation is a different story, der Grizzlies can only hope he does.
This will definitely harm Memphis to play without him in the first 30% of the season, at least they don't have to pay him for that time I guess.  Grin
No doubt that it's a better punishment than being suspended the entire season for the upcoming one. I even thought that it's doubled and up to 50 games but 25 sounds better and lesser. But we'll still go to see if he's learning his lesson and will be more careful with his actions since the eyes of the public are on him. He's now a living meme honestly and hopefully, he won't be triggered anymore with those guns and chicks on the side. He can do that privately and that's the solution for him to avoid controversies.
1428  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: June 16, 2023, 11:46:56 AM
If we only hold bitcoin in the wallet of course we can only profit when the price goes up, but if we use it for staking then we can get additional money, the market trend which is still red like today makes me prefer to use staking, and safer staking is on spot exchanges and activate all security systems.
There's no such as staking for Bitcoin. It's being done by the wallets and the exchanges but in reality, there's no algo for Bitcoin to be staked.
Those that are offering staking for Bitcoin, they're just borrowing it and allowing to lend it to any other service that they're tied up but it doesn't grow as much as we want to think just as the other staking coins because bitcoin is a proof of work and not a proof of stake consensus algo.
1429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop stressing kids with bitcoin on: June 16, 2023, 10:30:47 AM
We've got different thoughts and points of view regarding this topic and everyone has a point so, to each their own. Those that are teaching their kids, I think they know if they're pushing it that much and forcing it to teach to them. But I think that not all of them are forcing their kids to learn about it. I also understand that every parent must just let their kids enjoy their youth and if these kids are interested into knowing bitcoin, we can't be selfish to them if they are the ones insisting of being taught about bitcoin.
1430  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 400 Merchants Na Ang Tumatanggap ng Bitcoin Through Pouch on: June 16, 2023, 09:19:58 AM
Parang need pa mas lalo ng malakihang marketing ng Pouch. Kasi kapag usapang bitcoin at crypto sa bansa natin, ito ang kilala ng mga tao.
  • Coins.ph
  • Gcash/Gcrypto
  • Maya
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 15, 2023, 11:51:06 PM
Did his son not listed to the upcoming draft this new season?

Technically, as per NBA draft eligibility terms, Bronny James is not yet eligible to enter the NBA draft this year.

- a player must be at least 19 years of age during the calendar year in which the draft is held
(Bronny will turn 19 on October 6 while the upcoming NBA draft is just less than a week to go, June 22.

- at least one year should have elapsed since the player's graduation from high school
(Bronny is currently in the class of 2023 and his final year)

To summarize, Bronny James' eligibility in the NBA Draft will take place in the next year's draft (2024) for the season 2024-25.
Thanks mate, so it's gonna be like 2 more seasons(1 ended and 1 starting) right before Bronny can be drafted. 1 is this for the upcoming season and the second one is the time by his listing for becoming eligible for the draft.
That's what Lebron's wish then and for sure that he'll be patient to wait that before retirement and I wouldn't be surprise if more hate and bash will be thrown again to him by waiting for that plan to be executed.
1433  Other / Off-topic / Re: When will you be comfortable to start a home. on: June 15, 2023, 11:29:40 PM
So that everyone can share their opinion on this topic, ai will the question in two different ways. For the single people and people who already have life partners. For the people with life partners already, at what stage economically where you before you decided to settle down with a partner? Did you already have a stable source of income or your source of income was not very stable.
I'm not stable when I've married my wife but that doesn't mean that I've got no savings and investments. Despite of being unstable, I've made sure that I've got enough of those and even source of income even if they're just side hustles or from my small business.

Can you get married with an unstable source of income or you will wait till when you are very financially stable. Please share your personal answers.
That's what I've thought of before but how long I'll wait until I get stable because we've got different priorities. I don't want to be that old before I become stable and get married. So, what's important is that you're prepared mentally, financially and spiritually when you're about to tie the knot.
1434  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should use spare money to invest on: June 15, 2023, 10:53:00 PM
I agree with you. I never invest all my spare money. There should be a sum I put aside. Life is too unpredictable, and I want to be ready for different scenarios.
Well, that's why there's always the quote that we used to hear that only invest what you can afford to lose and that's the same as gambling.

Speaking about becoming rich in short term, I also noticed this tendency. And when these people finally gain new knowledge and skills, they understand that they won't become rich tomorrow.
And that's a real thing, there's a natural process for everything and it's hard to cope up with the reality when you're still far from even starting. Those that do understands the sad reality but are persevering their goals, they'll be the ones that someday will also be seen at the top and earn from their investments.
1435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 15, 2023, 10:22:33 PM
Westbrook is not the same Westbrook anymore, there is a huge chance that Jokic will take his place, eventually, because the latter has now change the system in the game of basketball just like what Stephen Curry did when the Golden State was still on the height of their careers and now,
True.
Jokic has brought NBA to another level and this is what's gonna be observed by other teams they'll look at the formula of what the Nuggets did for obtaining this year's title.

many folks have said that he (Jokic) brought the playing style of Europe towards the NBA.
And the truth is that from other region are the ones that's dominating the NBA on its own land.
1436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - how low will we go in 2023? on: June 15, 2023, 09:55:09 PM
How is everyone else feeling?
Just fine as I see that there's a quick recovery for Bitcoin.

The more FUD then more publicy we have then more FUD and this its gonna be endless until we take the rocket again.
This is the reality in this market, there will be unstoppable FUD that shall come from unexpected times. And you just can't be confident that nothing is gonna happen when everything is calm. You'll see news media outlets spreading FUD from individuals that have names in different markets just to manipulate the market.
1437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 15, 2023, 09:29:32 PM
I honestly do not expect Lakers to lose Lebron, he will stay there without a doubt, he won't move until his son is in the league, which will be another season if I am not wrong, if that were to ever happen then I am guessing that the only way he leaves is to go where his son is drafted and have one last season there.
Yeah, that's pretty much what Lebron is gonna do for this season. But wherever he's gonna be taken by his contract, be traded or the Lakers don't really have plans of trading him, he'll stay there for sure. And one thing is that this upcoming season for sure he's got a lot to say for having new superstar teammates unless the Lakers management isn't willing to cover that.

His son will be at college this year at USC so closer to his dad this season, and he will be staying at his home if I am not mistaken as well, which means that we are going to see him play as well as hoped for and probably drafted, so at least one more year of Lebron at Lakers without a doubt, why would he want to leave his son who will play at college level close to home, you need to consider these when rumors are flying, they picked his college based on where Lebron was playing.
Did his son not listed to the upcoming draft this new season?
1438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: June 15, 2023, 08:59:09 PM
I see ETH to become next blessing in disguise, I remember when it was around $100 people condemned it not to go anywhere within the space of a month interval ETH shuck the price in 500% increase
I even saw it when it was a lower and good thing that I've bought a few of it. That was one of the best decisions that I've ever had.

and today is about $1800 let's watch and see ETH will create unbreakable records, channel some useless coins you have to ETH and relax in future.
Well, it's gonna be more than the ATH that it has reached and that's why the price of it is expected to be higher. We don't know how high it will be but people who think that it's a good investment will buy it. And those that don't think it's not a good one will ignore it.
1439  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gambling is different from trading on: June 15, 2023, 12:24:48 PM
While on gambling, you have no control on the game play. Hence there's no way you can influence the result of the certain game because it's solely relying on luck unless you're playing a skill-based games like sports betting.
Depends on the gambling you game, many do get into luck based on its gameplay but there goes the rest that doesn't rely on it that much. And we could feel in luck based games if we're lucky enough but then not all times our feelings are right.

Anyway trading and gambling are both risky and that's their similarity.
That's right.
There's no escape on both of them for being risky, you choose what risk you'll take because for me I know what I'll choose.
1440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Be Badly Hurt if Binance Goes Down? on: June 15, 2023, 09:44:01 AM
Well, the round and table are now being turned in favor of Binance US'. We've seen the effect of it and that's what will happen every time there is a big-time exchange that's being played by SEC or if something wrong happens to them.
Just remember that whenever these incidents come, they're all gonna affect the market for a short period of time and then Bitcoin will still stand on its own not gonna notice those every bad news that has come.
