2361  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children? on: November 07, 2016, 05:26:45 AM
You can start to save a piece of your incoming Bitcoin for your descendants. If I would have children, I would create a new address and put a peace of maybe 10%-20% of every Bitcoin earning and incoming to this address. So you have still a big part of yourself.

Well, if i have many bitcoins, i will save my bitcoins for my children and my grand child. But for now i don't have time for that. because i even dont have many bitcoins for myself.

10-20% is not bad enough. I believe even if it is just 1 percent, it is still the best way to invest for your future grandchildren because even if it is just a small percentage, it is on a regular basis and for a longer period of time. With more than 30% to save for grandchildren, I guess it is no longer reasonable though because you still have needs as well at the current time.
2362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: November 07, 2016, 05:23:28 AM
Do your research! if its a sports bet then use their statistics to determine what team is on advantage rather than just picking randomly without doing some searching. Most sports always have a site to access so you can see their rankings and eventually who's the most dominating the game.

This is true. In sports betting, you will have bigger chances of winning if you bet to teams that are way stronger than with the other teams. However, always be realistic as well that there are times that games may be fixed or the team that you are betting will not make it to the game. Just do your research and hope you become lucky.
2363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: November 07, 2016, 05:20:51 AM
That and people saying 0.01 is a big bet when at the real tables it really not at a real casino.
Well, if you think that amount is considered as big bet, I think you are not rich. That is just a small amount for the rich as they more like x100 of that amount even in a single bet and guess what, they can easily let go of the emotion if they lose with a big amount as we think.

Gambling is good as entertainment if you are rich, that's for sure.

Yes it is a good entertainment if you are able to keep on gambling and you have a lot of fund for it. But if you are a poor person and it seems that you are an addicted gambler then that is not going to be the best way to keep on gambling. But I think, when a person becomes richer his mindset is changing and it is more focusing into business and not gambling anymore.

That is true - if you became rich because of hard work, you will not gamble your hard earned money to casinos. People that are crazy only does that. However, rich people do gamble sometimes just for fun and not really about profit - they play only money that they can afford to lose and have limitation as to when to stop when they reached that limit.

The rich people will start gambling just for fun. But they will addict this gambling very quickly. Yes if they lose money means they can afford so many rich people will play gambling to make a big profit. But they will do calculated game. They won't play the blind game. If I am rich, i will play to double my investment.

Doubling your investment is as easy as playing on a 50% chance and winning that bet. However, it would be very hard if that bet will lose because you also lose your investment - unless you have many sessions and each session have like 1 btc each session and you have 10 sessions. In the first attempt, you lose and on second attempt you win, etc..
2364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: November 07, 2016, 05:18:44 AM
The main idea to gambling of course for profits even tough I do enjoy process that required knowledge, skills and luck, it's fun.
We can't avoid losses in gambling so just bet what I can afford to lose and set some amount just for gambling and when it gone, I quit.

Your concept is good like play with some money which you can afford to lose and come out when you lose. But you understood reason for gambling wrongly because it is not made to bring profits to gamblers instead for gambling houses makes profits and gamblers will get some fun with playing different games.

I agree with this that in the end it will always be the gambling casino sites that will profit because of the their house edge advantage. However, there are professional gamblers out there that really killing it - but that is because they have many systems in place that they execute. These are the pre-planned bets and have certain amount of target.
if we can only make our self being controlled of our certain plan i think we can good as pro too but since greediness always chasing our minds that's the problem so better to play to fulfill your lust and not to aim big earnings its always turned in the other side though.

Correct. If you let your emotions and green overpower to your gambling sessions, then you will have more chances of losing than winning. The reason is that, you get blinded to the fact that there is a house edge and it will eventually be at work against your winning streak.. A lot of gamblers, before they lose big, feels that they will always win and not lose.
2365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: November 07, 2016, 05:16:41 AM
Ive seen many as of late on bitvest and more and more seem to be joining.
Bitvest is online gambling service, right? So how can you tell that more girls are joining to play there?
You certainly can't be sure about who is playing just by looking at nicknames of people.

I recently learned that some semi-professional Poker players like to use female nicknames and avatar while plating online just get an edge over other players.
It is proven that male poker players exhibit more risky behavior around female players.
Exactly, you cannot tell or estimate the total number of girls playing in a certain site. We are in the anonymous work and gambling site do accept our bet without asking our identity or gender. You can only tell if you know a certain gamblers personally.

Girls do gamble and that's the reality, but they are just a small number compared to men in my estimate as well.

You are right. The number of girls who gambles compared to men is really that not big - factors to consider is that there are countries and cultures that prohibits women to gamble. But yes, it is true that there are women who gambles online. We can easily find them in online casino chatrooms - mostly are active are women to some of these online casinos.
Women gamble with friends and most of them have no idea that gambling can be done in the internet. We as men are curious and we love to experiment and that means we are more wiser than them. We love to try different games to try our luck because we want to have shortcut in success.

I would agree to this. Women really play with friends and it tends to be a big group of friends as each passing day. The reason is that these girls can be able to spread information like fire Smiley Based on experienced, as I am creating viral content in the web, it is always be girls that sparks and create the tidal wave of virility on the internet Smiley
2366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: November 07, 2016, 05:14:21 AM
if seen, most Answer here is "find a new hobby that can take a lot of your time". And I think that is the best way to stay away of gambling. Because if you've got a hobby that takes a lot of your time, you're not going to have time to gamble and little by little away.

Exactly, because anyone want to left the gambling, so better for them should chance the way of our routine life, also change our mode because we have decided to stay away from gambling, and gambling is a game and we always play it only when we want to spend our extra time and find enjoyment but our greedy take us in a wrong way, that's why we want to stay away, Otherwise everyone know that gambling is pure game for give us entertainment.

In anything we do, just like in gambling, and do it regularly, it will become a habit and once that habit is formed, we will be having a hard time in getting away with it unless we form a new habit in replace to gambling habits of ours. It could be gong to gym or learning new skills - anything that will just replace it is a good start.
2367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: November 07, 2016, 05:05:40 AM
If you had 0.01 or less I'd say you can try to gamble with it and although you'd probably lose it you won't lose much anyway. 1 BTC is another story. 1 BTC is a big money to waste it on gambling, but don't be fooled by various "investment programs" becuase most of them are scam and thus in most cases invesment is the same thing as gambling.

Having 1 BTC you can just hold it and that's the best and safest investment IMO.

For conservative investors, holding bitcoin is really the best way to invest to bitcoin. Gambling is just way to risky to do. The next best way to make that bitcoin grow is to trade it to other crypto currencies - just buy low sell high. This is not easy as this though, we need to learn proper trading before we will have profitable trades.
2368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 07, 2016, 05:03:02 AM
People find gambling so funny, because they hope to get rich with it!
but talking seriously only bookmakers and casinos are the only people that get a real advantage from gamble.
Some times a lucky one get a super jackpot.. but how many people lose before?

It will always be the casino that will gonna win at the end of the day because they have it set even before gamblers play. This is what we called house edge advantage. It is the reason why casino never goes broke and it thrives and even have many competitions in the market because this is a very profitable business.
2369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe that win in gambling is depending on your luck ? on: November 07, 2016, 05:00:53 AM
How sad the so many people believe it is about luck. Come on, there is not really such a thing as luck. It is just something you create to explain why you lose. Winning is obviously about nothing more than mathematical probability and the problem of losing is connected to attemts to overcome this probability and win.

Really there is no such thing as luck? And then every time you gamble you are wishing that you will be lucky so that you can win some good amount as you gamble? For me, I do believe that it is because of luck every time you are receiving unexpected winnings, then you just need to be thankful that you are winning or what you called 'lucky' by that time that can't be calculated by scientific and mathematical probabilities.

Gambling is really based on pure luck. However, professional gamblers built many systems to at least mitigate the losses and have some winning sessions. It involves a number of system in place and experienced. They bet on a pre-planned bets meaning: they bet according to plan no matter what ans stop according to plan no matter what - no emotions involved.
2370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 07, 2016, 04:57:39 AM
In my own opinion those methods or strategy can just help you to have idea how to play it.. but there is no assurance that you can make a good profit in those methods ..
It is just a guid how to play for me or to have idea.. i just using those methods in my own to try some technique to make profit..
There are two purpose in gambling which are to make money and to be entertain. Whatever your purpose you have to act accordingly for you to be safe. Actually it is just fine to lose money when you are having fun as that is just part of your entertainment expense but when you shift your purpose along the way that's when the real problem will come.
I don't know but in order to be entertained by  gambling you must win money, you can't be entertained when you are losing money. Either way you must win for you in order to be entertained. Also casinos are good at this as they always make you win some bets in order for you not to realize that you are losing big time. Well it is always in the gamblers mind if he is losing or not.
Well, that should be our goal but most of the time we lose, so with that are we not gonna enjoy gambling?

Gambling is a form of entertainment, therefore it's just right to enjoy gambling regardless of the outcome of our bets. Not all the time we will win so better accept whatever the outcome of your bets.
well most of the time we lose so if we are looking for safer way much better to place our money in types of game that we will really enjoy so no matter what will be the outcome it will be paid off because inside gambling reality is needed to be consider no safe ways but pure luck though.

You are correct mate that gambling is based on pure luck! You should only gamble for fun and entertainment and only gamble money that you can afford to lose. Unless, you want to invest all of your time to gambling and become a professional gambler. That is hard thing to do because you will be having many tests and it would be better if someone that will coach you.
2371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: November 07, 2016, 04:54:19 AM
for me to play gambling with smart way is dont be greedy
if we already get se profits better we leave it and come back next day
i think it will work because in my experience i always getting lose when play on longer run

But it's easy to take break after getting the winning streak in gambling that is quite difficult task to keep us clam down while betting, nobody want to stop during winning season in fact it make us more greedy and our mind encourage us to play more and more because that is our day.

That is true. If we don't have any pre-planned betting and don't have a system to stop at certain amount of profit or goal, then people tend to having hard time in stopping during winning steak. But if you have pre-planned betting system just like of professional gamblers, then you will automatically stop when you reach your goal and start a new session.
2372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: November 07, 2016, 04:46:32 AM
I keep on playing gambling over and over again because of my winnings on my favorite betting sites ,i think im addicted because i use to earn almost everyday and that keeps me coming back on playing and then when i lose some amounts stop for an hour and back to playing again .Many of us keeps coming back because of good earnings it pushes us to play again ,some are greedy .

Good to know that you always win mate. This is also the reason why I keep coming back, especially in sports betting because most of the time I always win. But I always limit myself and control my greed.

In sports betting, you better have chances of winning when you know the team and the players of that team as well as the coaching staff. If you know the team you are betting on and the team that you are betting against, then your chances of winning is high - of course there will be times when you lose but you will do well if you know well the teams.

2374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: November 07, 2016, 04:40:41 AM
For me it is not the same gambling is for fun and entertainment.. but trading is business for me and it is like on forex.. you can predict your own and set your own margin to make a profit you dont need to bet or something like in gambling because gambling you will lose there and you can not recover anything.. unlike in trading that you can recover some partial of loses.
But what are the similarities you are finding with gambling and trading and I believe you might got many situations in those you got feel of doing your trading in gambling way like throwing blind balls to book unexpected huge profits. But, both gambling and trading has mystery to unveil only we touch them. But, we should never go trading in gambling approach.

It's not possible to know with sure how much profit we will make with trading. Nobody can knows with 100% sure if that coin will increase its price in the future, maybe the prices can go down and you lose your investiment on this coin. I think that is a unpredictable job, it's not very dangerous like gambling, but it's not so safe like buy BTCs and hold it.

Trading is an investment so there is really no assurance on how much you can earn with it. And it depends on the fluctuation of the coin in the market and that is why trading is unpredictable job, I think it must not even considered as job because that is just a sideline, but well there are a lot of people depending on bitcoin trading and treat it as their job.
Along with fluctuations in price the price of bitcoin is also based on the intelligence of the traders if the trader is well expert then he can easily predict that what is going in any asset and what will go to happen in the future and know well that what action is required to take for the success.
You are right the expert traders earn money each time from trading no matter to which direction the price of bitcoin go they can earn from this as they know about the sequence of fluctuations and they earn even from smaller dumps and pumps which also occur when the price go down.
They make money because of their skills and whatever the price movement they make money because they master their prediction. As long as the price move it is money for them, this unpredictable job could be more profitable fro the expert but certainly not for all of us.

That is true - expert traders always prefers some volatility of the prices so that they can come in and out of the trade with their skills and knowledge, they can make most of their trades profitable. Of course, they will have some losing trades but they will be having more winning trades because of their pre-planned trades.
2375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: November 07, 2016, 04:37:59 AM
I don't think that it will disappear banks as banks are already have much works to do and their work is not only to store money for people but they are also maintaining the financial affairs for governments and for different organizations.

The bank's tie with the government is the one that keeps it surviving and not just the money... That is why it will be difficult for bitcoin to make banks disappear, bitcoin could only substitute the money but not the other transactions that banks are holding...  Smiley

Surely it  will be hard for bitcoin to make the disappearance of banks in the scene. And you are right with it because of sovereign power of banks that they are connected and being controlled by the government. But it depends to the banks if they will allow bitcoins to enter the scene or make an adoption for the usage and services of bitcoin.

We should always remember that bitcoin is just an alternative for using fiat money online. There are people that doesn't prefer bitcoin as a form of online transaction and thus banks will always be there. This is also the same with bitcoins, there are people that prefers using bitcoin to some of their online transactions and thus they will only need bitcoin wallets however, they still have their bank accounts for other transactions that most need it.
Agree with you mate that bitcoin is an alternative currency that we can use in online transaction, Bank still there and much trusted to used in all transaction it may online or offline transaction and it is much usable for the big transaction that people made.

That is true mate! Wink Glad that we have the same outlook with regards to gambling. There are other people that always tend to complicate things - they go to extreme scenario like banks will going to disappear Smiley They don't stick with the very basic and just enjoy life and technology that makes life easier and comfortable
2376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: November 07, 2016, 04:35:24 AM
Don't gamble if you want to make money. Gambling should be done for the sake of getting entertained. Winning or losing is part of the game and if you loose your cash, it is the price you have to pay.
If by any chance you wish to make money, I suggest you deposit money or lend to a casino and get interest from them. Other than this, any strategy to beat the house in the long term is doomed to fail.

Try investing your money in a different way like trading, lending, etc. Rather than gamble your bitcoin just to lose it all in the long run. It's not advisable to gamble not if you just want to be entertained by the games in casinos.

That is correct! Gambling is not investing. Investing deals with calculated decision to reach your profit at the end of the day. In gambling, you can't easily control to reach your profit goal for the day unless you are very lucky enough and is a professional gambler. If you are just new to gambling, I would suggest that you just play for fun and entertainment and if it is no longer fun at all, better stop immediately!
2377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 07, 2016, 04:32:21 AM
It is wrong when the money you will use is important or reserve to use to any emergency situation on your life, you have to be a safe/practical gambler. Gamble what you can lose , always put some limit every time you bet so you will have control over the entire betting stage.
while gambling we have to keep in our mind that we do not have to put our money for investment in it but we have to put only that money in gambling which we will need to spend for entertainment.

That is true - gambling is definitely for entertainment only! If you want your money to be invested in gambling sector, I highly suggest to invest it to reputable online casino that accepts investors rather than playing or gambling these casinos. You better have chances of profiting when you invest to these reputable online casinos than playing there Smiley

I would say that they expert traders doesn't earn each time they trade. They will have some losing trades and winning trades but they will most likely have many winning trades because they are equip with the necessary knowledge and skills to do some good trades. They usually acquire these through study and experienced.
2379  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 07, 2016, 04:27:54 AM
i think bitcoin is much more good than gold because gold is much more stable and bitcoin increasing its price too much faster so buy bitcoin in big amount is very much good and profitable than gold .

This is especially true to people that only have small amount of money to invest, bitcoin is the way to go because you can but literally with a very small amount of money. You can buy and forget it for a couple of years and hopefully it will grow its price that time. Investing to both gold and bitcoin as well as to other investment vehicles, is a good way to go.
2380  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: November 07, 2016, 04:25:55 AM
I will use the 1 btc to buy myself a new nintendo 3ds, i think it costs 0.5 btc(current btc value) and the other 0.5 for cartridges like pokemon x and pokemon sun.

This is really a refreshing answer compared to others. Good job following what you want first and not just going with what others say. You gotta catch 'em all first! Before you have to get some more money!

It's just the right attitude to life. You must be able to enjoy it now, rather than wait for that to be good in the future.

It is always feels good just to enjoy life but I guess it is wise decision to at least invest for the future as well because life is not always having fun! There will always be up and down moments in life as what the song goes: what comes up must go down! At least when you invest for the future, you will have some fall back in down moments in your life.. just saying...
