2381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM - PRE NOTICE on: October 06, 2017, 10:51:44 AM

BUMP

TL;DR --

The snapshot will take place on October 10th, at 10AM NZ local time (Cryptopia is a NZ exchange). The block height is 1657200

So as soon as you see block 1657201 confirmed in the SpreadCoin full node wallet is it safe to do whatever you want with SPR?

When will there be a wallet available for Helium?

I am personally going to wait until confirmation of snapshot completion / receiving my HLM on Cryptopia. However, in theory yes, as soon as block 1657201 comes through you should be ok to move your coins to where you please. If your coins are on Cryptopia, I imagine that you would receive your HLM fairly quickly.

can we move ours coins now to crypotpia or we need to wait the block number 1657200 before sending anything?

Move them well before that blockheight. Sometimes coins take a while coming out of Bittrex. Personally, I would send the coins ASAP or at the latest 1 whole day before the snapshot is scheduled just to be sure everything is all set. Any coins that haven't confirmed in your main wallet or Cryptopia by block 1657200 will not count towards HLM. Again, I would move them well before we got close to that block height to ensure they are safely on Cryptopia or in a local wallet.

i have the coin on my wallet not on bittrex i think i'll send them this week already not going to wait for monday and risk to lose the chance to get HLM

2383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: October 05, 2017, 09:13:16 AM
I suppose that in 2-3 years will survive only few of top-50 coins + some upcoming projects. To be sure in your investments choose BTC, ETH and LTC for sure Wink

yes but there will be more shitcoin that will come lol, i remember they said what you said many years ago and we still have plenty of shitcoin on coinmarketcap that are alive
2384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Trading Truly Profitable on: October 05, 2017, 09:12:31 AM
Well you can invest a little amount of money and hope that you can make profit. I heard that it will take time in order to make profit of altcoins. They will pump up the price and then you need to sell them. Thats how trading works i heard once that a guy had made 3 million dollars just with investing in altcoins. So its truly profitable.

altcoin trading is different from altcoin investment, with investment you have less risk and you can hope that your coin will go very high and do a good return, with trading there is a higher risk because you play against the market on a daily basis

no one bothered to answer this, but is the premine of 16M going to be depleted in the airdrop or not? with my math it say that in less than 4 years all the 16M coins for the airdrop will end

It is not yet decided how the final distribution will be. You can read about and vote for your preferred option here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2199926.0

this "On October 30th 25% of the unclaimed coins will be airdropped to BTX holders in proportion to the percentage that they own"

mean that if have have 200 btx i get 4k? what is the current amount of circulation of btx?
No, according to the second version of the distribution plan (hybrid plan), you will receive about 800 Btx if you have 200 Btx.

ah so it's the same as receiving 3% per week for an entire year, 200 with 3% per week is 4x in a year

there will be a miner for the new algo or this is another unfair launch?

just don't create condensation it's the same thing when you shot with the air compressor too close, you can create condensation and damage something on your MB

2391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coin to buy in October? on: October 03, 2017, 01:50:26 PM
With a new month comes a new thread. What do you think has good potential?

Most recently I think Sentry may lead the way this October. I want to hear your thoughts. Sentry allows you to create your own Blockchain, and many businesses will indeed use it!

Sentry is my best bet, monero is also promising.

Here are some to look out for:

- Sentry
- Ark
- Elixir
- Ethereum
- OmiseGo
- Qtum
- Verge

for me is bitcore, 12% airdrop reward per month is huge, you can do 200% in a year best pos together with rain, and then you have spreadcoin with HLM, for ico i don't know, they all look like scam to me lol
2392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it more wise to invest in Bitcoin or in Ethereum for the next 5 years? on: October 03, 2017, 01:49:07 PM
Is it more wise to invest in Bitcoin or in Ethereum for the next 5 years? What do you think an why?

better to invest in bitcoin, altcoin are very dangerous and do not offer the same stability, i can agree that ETH is a strong coin but it can still die if something go wrong because there is no real adoption and usage like bitcoin
2393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM - PRE NOTICE on: October 03, 2017, 05:38:12 AM
If you have your coins on Bittrex please move them to your local Spreadcoin wallet or to Cryptopia to be eligible to receive Helium. You need to have this done BEFORE 10AM NZ time on October 10th (9th of October for many people).

if i leave them in my wallet on 10 october, how can i receive helium by signing a msg or other way?
2394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: i need cheap and good GPU to buy on: October 02, 2017, 09:41:46 AM
hello guys i want to buy GPU to mining XMR and i can pay 200$ for one GPU which kind of GPU is good for me
if it were good i can buy 6 more  but this one for test
thank you guys for Answer  and i want hash rate for that GPU

1060 is not bad if you have a sp mod or maybe you can look at some good cpu second hand with that budget, but why monero? zcash is better
2395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: October 02, 2017, 09:40:17 AM
Oh, new scam project of Shitnatum dev, crovetic.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2120193.420

They say "no ico no premine" but under the cover 12 coins per block = 10 to miners, 2 to dev from EVERY block.
it is the same? i want to mine it but i couldnt because of wallet issue. i so unfortunately. always trying to mine or bourght any kind of trash.

It seems that last times any new coin ANN is possible scam, sad :-/

nothing new really we all now that all the coins here are scam just to feed your wallet lol, really people still believe that all this project are genuine? lmao, they must be new here, and investors don't really care about it they are just in for the profit
2396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: October 02, 2017, 09:38:14 AM
To start with and nova to be in good health.

nova do not accepted cryptonight coins, maybe we can try with coinexchange if they accept, it's a small exchange but not that bad and i think it's free to get listed there

Please change the link on website to the Github, stop people downloading the compromised wallet.

Removed mega links, updated with github code.

Hi All! Please do delete that file with the trojan I believe it was infected Do not download the wallet from the Mega link - Dev you need to delete this asap - I have tried and scanned the github version and it seems to be a non-infected wallet

https://github.com/OBAViJEST/rain/tree/master/release

I think you could be right. I am not sure if these are two different files, but: Mega link file - 17 threats on Virus Total, GitHub link - only 2.

I personally created those original links, and changed nothing...seems like an update to Windows Defender picks up something now.  Yet Github code is clean....which is what I built from...

Anyone have an idea as to what's going on..?

But you just quoted the post I made saying I removed them....  Grin

"This is a trojan!" *Checks Forum* 'Just disable your security! Tongue' RIP Rain wallet users.

Happened to me the other day. It scared the crap out of me when I couldn't find my wallet. Lol You don't have to disable all of your security.. just allow the one program.

i have the wallet posted on mega since 4 months and nothing happened to me the wallet it's clean i checked on virustotal, i think it was uploaded two times the seconds one was infected
2398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ssd for mining rig on: October 01, 2017, 08:14:22 AM
I see some ppl have 60 and some 120gb ssd, so my question is, is 60gb good or should i buy 120gb? I mean if i dont need 120 i will just go for 60.

i think 120gb is better give you more room for increase pagefile if you don't have enough mem for certain algorithm like sib
2399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best ALT coins to mine at the moment? on: September 30, 2017, 11:23:58 AM
Maybe those of you who know will keep this a secret ... Obviously mining ETH & Btc isn't really all that worth it anymore... what coins would you recommend that can be mined at the present moment which can be mined a lot ... I.E.: 0.5 in a day as opposed to 0.00025 . I don't really care about the cost of the coin today, because if its the right coin it'll jump up anyways   Grin

bitcore is the best one they have an airdrop of 12.55% per month, so you get 12% of reward on top of your earning each month
2400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 30, 2017, 08:14:39 AM
where to sell signatum?  im interesting to mining it

only novaexchange accept signatum trading now, you can sell there but the volume is trash i would suggest to wait a bit, you can not mine signatum anymore because it is in pos phase now no more pow
