1381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 09, 2023, 10:38:36 PM
Match between PSG and angers PSG has won all their recent matches except their match with Rc lens which the lost 3:1 to lens, currently PSG is on top of the French senior league with 44 points their rival team is in 20th position with 8 points an the have secured just one win and a draw in 6 matches to me this match is embedded with much goals to come because PSG is a concerning side and also a scoring side but the are bound to win this match.

Angers has been one of the weakest teams in Ligue 1 this season. He is now the last team in the points table and has won only two of the 7 matches. I can't remember the last time I saw Angers win a game. PSG on the other hand is a star-studded team. And the strongest team in Ligue 1. PSG will have no problem winning against Angers. And more importantly, we will see the trio of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe again after a long time. I predict PSG will win this match by at least 3 goals margin. I am definitely going to bet for PSG to win this match.

Babar Azam has reached half a century in Karachi as well. A captain's knock from Babar Azam helped Pakistan chase down the runs so far. Rizwan and Babar Azam are both batting well right now. There are only 89 runs needed with the next 84 deliveries, so killing the momentum would not be a good idea.  It would be absolutely wrong if they didn't win this match from here on.
It seems that Pakistan will win this match. 8 runs are required now with more than enough balls, i guess 18. This will be a pleasant win for them as after a tough test series they really needed a win and today is their day.
I guess this will give them a lot of confidence for the next matches and now i will recon that Pakistan may may more chances to win the series. I don't see New Zealand coming back and winning both of the remaining matches.
Pakistan performed well in the first match of this ODI series. While the New Zealand batsmen were completely defeated, Pakistan's batting managed to play with self-confidence. They needed this win. But it was the first match of the series so Pakistan grabbed the opportunity before New Zealand could properly understand it. Hope both will give good performance in next match. Hope the ‍score will be larger in the next match.
Pakistan did well. They have very much proved that they can actually perform well if they are supported by the Pakistan Cricket board. The Pakistani bowling lineup has performed really well in this match. They have kept the New Zealand batting lineup under pressure from the start. And that’s why New Zealand was unable to put on a big total on the board.
On the other hand, Pakistan also did well chasing the score. The pitch did look a lot more batting-friendly in the second innings. It was a good win for Pakistan.
Pakistan did well in both side Batting and bowling. Great start for ODI series from Pakistan. As always in today's match Babar Azam was seen in a good performance along with Mohammad Rizwan and managed to score well and the total run partnership created by Fakkar Zaman between Baba Azam and Mohammad Rizwan was able to win Pakistan.  I think Pakistan is sending a message through this match that they don't rely on just a few players anymore.
source

Except for Haris Rouf, every bowler in Pakistan bowled brilliantly today. They played very well. I would especially appreciate Naseem Shah's performance. I would say Naseem Shah is the main hero behind Pakistan's match win. He managed to take 5 wickets. Naseem Shah brought back talented batsmen like Conway, Phillips and Santner in the dressing room. Apart from the good performance of the bowlers, the performance of the batsmen was very responsible. Fakhar, Babar and Rizwan all played well. Pakistan will win the series if they can maintain this performance in the upcoming matches.

1384  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: January 09, 2023, 03:13:28 AM
I am not speaking about just Bitcoin. I am speaking about every cryptocurrency / token.  Regardless of crypto price fluctuations, many online and offline stores are ready to accept crypto as payment. So How will willing are you to spend crypto for your purchases?
You shouldn't mention Bitcoin if you want to discuss crypto. Because in crypto there are too many junk coins that appear in the market almost every month following every trend. The current crypto space is so cluttered that we are a little lazy to keep up with developments other than Bitcoin.
Furthermore, Bitcoin is not the same as other coins/tokens in the crypto space.

But bitcoin is also a part of cryptocurrency, and it is also a cryptocurrency, a top-tier coin. And all of them have the function of serving people, so there is no need to separate them when it comes to using them for daily expenses. Speaking of investments, bitcoin is the safest but not the most profitable. Although altcoins are rubbish, and messy, but if you know how to invest and invest in the right projects, they can also make you rich. We invest in bitcoins and altcoins to make money, so there is no reason for us to reject things that can generate profit for us.
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 08, 2023, 05:48:22 PM
Sampdoria vs Napoli is going to start in about 1 hour from now. This should be easy three points for Napoli. And they also have to be making sure that they win this match. They have already lost a match recently. I think this match is going to be a blessing for them because they will be able to return to winning ways again after the break.
So if they don't win this today, then they really have a crisis. After the game against Inter Milan, which they lost, they have to win against Sampdoria Genoa. Genoa have won their last 2 games and Napoli have lost 3 games in a row. If they lose today and AC Milan wins, it's only 2 points ahead for SSC Napoli. They were 11 points ahead, not so long ago.

Napoli vs Sampdoria is going on right now. Napoli is already leading by 1 goal. 45 minutes have been played in this match. I will say that Napoli seems to be quite confident and I believe they should be able to win this match.

Sampdoria is trying to create some momentum but they are not being able to be successful, especially while going to the final third of the field. I do not think they will be able to win, especially because they already have a red card. And there is a long time to go in this match.
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 08, 2023, 03:38:02 PM
Match between sampdoria and Napoli, it is much expected that Napoli will win because in the last 5 matches between Napoli and sampdoria, Napoli has secured winning in all be it home or away with them also Napoli as a team wouldn't want to jeopadize their position in the league. Sampdoria beat Sassuolo in the last match that helped them to climb a little but they are still in the relegation line for now, Napoli needs wining in this match to help them maintain their position in the league.
It's hard to think napoli to win the match against sampdotia if napoli keeps performing like when it was against intermilan. Im still seeing the match between lazio against empoli before seeing the match beteen napoli against sampdoria. It seems like that napoli is likely to win the match with small score. I guess the lose against intermilan has been giving pressure to the whole of players.
Napoli must win against sampdoria or it will be facing ac milan that was become even closer. Ac milan has won scudetto last season. that will be so bad if ac milan will do that again
Napoli needs to do something to prevent ac milan to win against it

Sampdoria vs Napoli is going to start in about 1 hour from now. This should be easy three points for Napoli. And they also have to be making sure that they win this match. They have already lost a match recently. I think this match is going to be a blessing for them because they will be able to return to winning ways again after the break.

A lot of people thought that they might not be able to perform as well as they were doing. But probably with this match. They will find their confidence and start winning consistently again. If they win this match, they will establish a seven points lead over the second team on the table, Juventus.
1387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 08, 2023, 02:37:05 PM
Naseem Shah proves himself in times of need . He can be a good batsman in emergency situations like this so he needs to be worked on.
Pakistan could have won the match but risk was higher as they didn't have wickets in hand.
Team Pakistan has many shining star which shine time by time. Wink
By the way if they practice and focus more so they can easily get more weak points. Which they can improve later by practice. A popular quotation we have read many times that is " Practice makes man perfect". So Pakistan team will improve itself soon I think so.
Yes, Practice makes man perfect. This quote suits everyone and in every activity. It is like Pakistan team is away from cricket for a long and now once again getting back after the break. No team were touring Pakistan which truly destroy its performance. Now slowly getting back on track and can expect good development in the coming tournaments.

Pakistan will have to fix the problems that are going on inside. If they do not fix the problems that they are facing in the cricket board, they are not going to be able to be successful in the long-term period. Pakistan does have some really good players on the team. But they will need to be carefully monitored and nurtured. Otherwise, they are also going to be lost in time.

First of all, Pakistan will need to learn how to be consistent. And the cricket board will also need to show more confidence in the players. If you do not give the players a chance to prove themselves, how can they prove themselves?
1388  Economy / Speculation / Re: How we know btc not going to 100$ ?? on: January 08, 2023, 12:54:16 PM
What guarantees we have btc not going very low like 100$ ??
Can btc go Even like 50$
Becouse everybody knows that Market Will crash hard soon very bearish out look now for btc
If today btc start falling what price is good to buy ?
It can fall to 1000$ or lower why not ? What's stop btc to fall down like 20$-50$ ?
I don't need to know because I never even believe that, Bitcoin will never fall to 100$ because if that would happen? then I rather expect this to become zero value and gone in the wind.

Have been trusting this coin for more than 5 years now and never that it fails me so if something bad like this will come then  maybe better to forget about it forever.

Indeed, I never thought of this either, I don't believe bitcoin can drop to $100 again, if that really happens it will be the end, and we should forget the pain there. I watch many people claiming that they are prepared and going to buy as much as possible when bitcoin dips to that level but I doubt all of them. When the price of bitcoin drops to $100, it's like bitcoin is on the way to death, we will panic extremely, and no one is in the mood to buy bitcoin.
1389  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: January 08, 2023, 12:33:42 PM
People has a different mind set not all the poor people is not interested about investing on bitcoin there are also poor people that wanted to invest into it but the budget is very few and not enough for investing, so they choose not to do investing.

I have met these cases, honestly, no one wants to be poor forever and the poor know that working alone is not enough to get out of poverty, they need to invest and take risks. But looking back at their circumstances, that doesn't allow them to do that. Even if you don't have enough to eat, how do you invest? We are not them, we are not in their position, so we cannot blame them when they do not innovate, and do not take risks to find opportunities for themselves. Some dreams will never come true.
That's right all poor people certainly don't want conditions like that to happen forever to them,
but it's not that easy to get out of the cycle of poverty,
Most people are either poor in knowledge or skills and they are also limited in such a way that makes it even more difficult

I am disappointed that some people criticize the poor like this or that, but they have never experienced what the poor have to go through. We are luckier than many people, and we should appreciate that, but that doesn't mean we have the right to disparage people who are poorer than us. If we can't help them, we shouldn't hurt them, they're poor, but they haven't raised their hand to ask for our help, and we haven't been able to help them, so we have no right to judge them here.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 07, 2023, 03:22:56 PM
The 32nd Match has started today in the Big Bash League. In today's match, Melbourne Renegades vs Hobart Hurricanes, these two teams came to the field to play. Hobart Hurricanes batted first and gave a target of 163 runs. Now Melbourne Renegades are batting. They scored 54 runs in 6.4 overs. And so far  Melbourne Renegades lost 3 wickets. Melbourne Renegades need 109 runs from 80 balls to win the match.

This is a high-scoring tournament. So, if a team brought on a score of 162, or even 170, I do not think that is going to be enough, especially batting first. Chasing seems to be the right approach in this tournament so far. Again, 162 is not a very easy total. But the Renegades made it look pretty easy. In the end, they eventually won the match easily. With six wickets and 11 balls left, it was a very comfortable win for them. this does take the Renegades to the fourth position on the table, but they have also played more matches compared to a lot of teams on the table.

1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [POLL] Will BNB crash? Will Binance go bankrupt? on: January 07, 2023, 09:24:28 AM
binance will never go bankrupt, even with all these fuds it still strong and unwavered, binance is like strong company that does everything to make the company even stronger, even right now their valuation is already tremendously high, moreover binance is quite carefuly with their investment funds, I don't see binance just throwing money at any project that seems promising unlike certain platform, I think for now until next decades binance is  still quite good exchange relatively safe enough from bankruptcy, even though their BNB might always have the chance of losing its value quite literally anytime, I think everyone should treat binance and bnb as different entity even though it has utilities within the exchange itself.

It is true that they are 2 different entities but created by the same company, if the parent company collapses none of them will survive. I also have faith in the solidity of Binance and it will be even stronger after the past Fuds. But you should not declare that it will never go bankrupt, that is not true because even bitcoin we cannot claim that it will never die. Do not put too much trust in 3rd parties, always have a backup plan when using them, anything can happen.
1393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people store their cryptocurrency on exchanges? on: January 07, 2023, 09:11:50 AM

The same point of view, those who still store their coins on exchanges so far are probably traders, and traders make up the majority of this market rather than holders. For a trader, other than centralized exchanges, they have almost no other choice, it is considered a must whether they like it or not.

OP, storing assets on cold wallets or non-custodial wallets can only be considered much more secure than exchanges, but by no means absolutely secure. Therefore, you should not be subjective and negligent in preserving your cold wallet.

Great point about traders. I didn't consider it from that perspective.

I plan to just keep my BTC offline on a cold wallet. I plan to hodl for at least 24 months anyway.

Has there ever been a hack of an offline cold wallet? I tried to look it up and don't think it has happened. Computers and laptops infected with malware is a different story.

After all, traders or not, centralized exchanges are very important to us, if we don't store assets on them, we use them daily. I guess you also buy bitcoin from a centralized exchange and then move to a cold wallet, and later if you want to sell bitcoin, the exchange is also what you need, so there is no need to hate it too much.

I also haven't heard of any cold wallet hacks kept entirely offline. But when using a cold wallet, in addition to protecting from hacker attacks, you should also pay attention to storing your seed phrase from problems in life such as loss, fire...
1394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people store their cryptocurrency on exchanges? on: January 06, 2023, 08:53:43 AM

So much trust in CEX. Binance was once hacked and they refunded the affected users.
Majority I suppose are traders that's why coins are on exchanges. It's easy to buy and sell when it's all there in the exchange while that market fluctuates, you wouldn't go to go deposit and withdraw every time the market shifts. I do this but for a few coins only, Binance has a mobile app, easy to access. If you are to keep your coins for a long term, a hardware wallet would be fine.

1395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LastPass data breach caused $53K in Bitcoin stolen, lawsuit alleges on: January 06, 2023, 08:38:29 AM
Link to news
https://cointelegraph.com/news/lastpass-data-breach-led-to-53k-in-bitcoin-stolen-lawsuit-alleges

This is only reported , the exact damage can be much more than this. If I am right, their security has been breached a number of times in the past as well. One more lesson from this incident is that we should not trust every third party tool especially if we deal with crypto. These tools might lack our data in future resulting in financial crypto loss.

This is not even worth mentioning! $53k was less than one Bitcoin at the moment theft happened. People are losing more funds daily in even more trivial hacks and scams. Wasn't worth to create a separate thread for a nothingburger like that.  Cool

The main issue here is not how much money is lost, it shows the risk when storing important data with 3rd party software or using online storage services. Not only for these password storage applications, but we also absolutely do not store private keys or important passwords on online storage platforms.

Talking about LastPass a bit more, I advise everyone to stay away from this application, in the past, they were very vulnerable to hackers, and although they did not cause any serious problems, it is clear that their service has issues.
1396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador will be the richest country in the world in 8 years? on: January 05, 2023, 06:09:43 AM
If the adoption of bitcoin in El Salvador continues without obstacles, there is a possibility that this could happen.
but el Salvador is still just adopting bitcoin, surely there are still many deficiencies that must be fixed in the government system.
el Salvador could prosper on bitcoins in eight years, but on condition that everything goes smoothly, especially from a social point of view,
if all the people have supported the adoption of bitcoin, there will definitely be significant progress.

I don't think so, relying on bitcoin alone to make El Salvador the richest country in the world is impossible, even if bitcoin hits $1 million per bitcoin. But if they continue to maintain and develop without any obstacles, then surely their country will have more significant development and improvement steps than when using USD. El Salvador has only accepted bitcoin for over a year, so it can be said that it is very early to conclude whether they fail or succeed, we need more time to evaluate.

Although some older people are reluctant to accept the new, that does not mean that cryptocurrencies are only for young people like you. You are underestimating the elderly, as long as they have a passion for finance, a passion for technology, anyone can participate in cryptocurrencies. Our world is colorful, don't think so simple.

I am a middle aged person, and the people I know are investing in bitcoin even bigger than me. Most people I know who are investing in bitcoin have no one under the age of 35.
1398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 04, 2023, 06:10:16 PM
I just watched CR7 presentation in a stadium full of fans, it was certainly a full stadium. To some extent, everyone understands that he would like to continue his career in Europe, but it so happened that he was fully appreciated as a football player in Asia. Now he is the highest paid football player and can enjoy life, maybe he wanted everything to end differently, but who knows, he is a legend anyway.
Time has passed very quickly, Ronaldo has given everything during his career in European football. Of course his fans really want him to continue his career in Europe, but since he was out of work after parting ways with Manchester United no club has shown any seriousness in bringing Ronaldo into their squad.
Now that Ronaldo has found a club that treats him very special, his presentation with Al Nassr was even more magnificent when he was presented as a Real Madrid player. Together with Al Nassr will make Ronaldo the highest-paid player that is difficult for other players to break at least in the next few years.

People that all is going to want unbelievable things from the player. Regardless of whether him being capable of that or not. Personally, I think a player is not bound to do that for anyone. And that is why I think Cristiano Ronaldo has made the right choice.

I think we also have to remember that the reason why Cristiano Ronaldo was very upset at Manchester United was because he was not being treated well in that club. But right now after the welcome that he received from his new club, he should be feeling a lot happier by watching the reception that he got. Let’s remember one thing Cristiano Ronaldo does not owe anything to anyone.

No absolutely not in my view, because if you are true cricket supporter you will not called him waste of time and you will not be bored watching test cricket match, in this format player abilities has been examined if they were classy player they will perform because most of the player failed to perform in this format, and it's the real format of Cricket, you mostly know that when cricket start the first and real format for cricket was test format, after the T20 and ODI format introduce in the cricket world.
Very few know the real cricket. The test format cricket shows who is the best cricketer. If have got difference scoring 220 runs in 20 overs and 300 runs in 90 overs. To stand against the bowler is different than go hit, if success it is run if not it is a wicket. Very few understand well and we should not indulge them to follow it.

@ZAINmalik75 It’s not about being an avid cricket fan or not. It’s about keeping up with the world. Which the ICC has obviously failed to do. And, tell me one thing, who are on Earth right now has a job or even a student who needs to get his studies done, are willing to sit there and watch it is too much for five whole days? No one.

The point I’m trying to make is that you can be a passionate cricket fan but at the same time, you need to value your precious time. I think that's my point of view, at least in regard to that test match.

In the upcoming fixtures, the two clubs who are now top of the standings with the only difference from goal productivity will have a more difficult match. Real Madrid will visit Villarreal, and Barcelona will also have their away match against Atletico Madrid. Villareal and Atletico Madrid are difficult clubs to beat, this will be a threat for these two teams.
In my opinion now it is Barcelona who are not benefiting more than Real madrid this week, because Atletico Madrid is one of the clubs that usually puts pressure on them in the top 3, regardless of the decline they are experiencing now, but still this will be a very serious threat for Barcelona.

It is true that Barcelona did have a very good chance of staying ahead of Real Madrid in terms of points after the game. However, they have not been able to accomplish that. At this point, I am very doubtful as to whether Barcelona will actually be able to hold on to the top spot at the end of the season.

My biggest problem with Barcelona is that they have lost a match that should not have been lost in the first place. I am almost certain that Barcelona is going to get down to the second position once again in the near future. Furthermore, I am very doubtful as to whether Barcelona will be able to win their next match or not.
