1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can crypto exchagnes regain users trust with PoR? on: December 05, 2022, 04:35:22 AM
Indeed, when viewed from the point of view of Proof of Reserves, it is to give more confidence to investors and their customers so that they believe that this exchange still has reserve funds.  This seems to be a very effective way of letting clients know more about the exchanges they trade on

How about new exchanges though? obviously they don't have the money to begin with since they are just starting on the business, what proof they should show us?

So for me this PoR is just good in papers for this exchanges, and we really don't know if this exchanges has the real funds anyone, they can play with it, I mean giving us false data, maybe it's not their real funds to begin with.

Yeah, I read though that Binance has started it, but they only show BTC only, and they say that next is all other assets.
How do they give us fake data? When they are all public, and you can check the assets they are holding. Blockchain technologies are supposed to be transparent and public, so if you don't trust them, does that mean that blockchains can be faked and scammed? I'm not defending them, but they're clearly trying to make things better and more transparent. We should support them rather than doubt and slander them.
1482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The goodness of long-term investing in cryptocurrency on: December 05, 2022, 04:05:23 AM
I would totally agree with you if you only talked about bitcoins and no other cryptocurrencies. However, if you said that altcoins are also suitable for long-term investment, I would disagree with your statement. Altcoins can also give us big profits, but they only last for a while or cannot sustain their growth. They are not like bitcoins that always recover from a drop. Many say that holding top altcoins will generate profits, but they still need to learn that, over time, the top altcoins will be replaced by newer altcoins.
Long-term investing is only true for bitcoin, not for altcoins.

Bet on India when the odds were close to 4 and almost won it, but the Indian bowlers and KL Rahul messed up with the last wicket. Such high odds in this match seriously surprised me.
When Bangladesh lost their 7th wicket the odds for Bangladesh winnings was 14 and i never thought in the wildest imagination that Bangladesh would win from that position. 51 runs partnership for the 10th wicket and winning the game was incredible.
I never imagined that Bangladesh would win this match after the ninth wicket fell for 136 runs. Despite the low target, the Indian bowlers were performing very well. Every bowler bowled well enough. And they were able to take the wicket of Bangladesh very quickly. But the Indian team is caught by Mehdi Miraj's extraordinary responsible batting. I would say they are very unlucky. Bangladesh, on the other hand, won thanks to the performance of their two all-rounders, Shakib and Miraj. The performance of Bangladesh's batsmen is still very bad. Shanto has been underperforming for a long time, yet is consistently given opportunities.
This is where it once again confirms that the bowling isn't that good with India. Team able to take the 9th wicket at 136 runs and unable to make an all out before 186 is the indication of poor bowling performance. In the match the batting is bad and now the bowling too hadn't given hands reaching close to victory.
We know that India's bowling is not good. Their batting line-up is one of the strongest in the world. But their batsmen were also unsuccessful in this match. But I would say that the main reason for India's defeat in this match was their team management. They cannot form their proper squad. We all know that Mirpur's pitch spin assistant. And Bangladesh's spinners bowled well. Shakib Al Hasan picked up 5 wickets. India should have dominated the spinners in this series. They have included Kuldeep Sen, Shardul Thakur and Washington Sundar. They should have kept experienced spinners in the squad.

To begin with, I have no idea how this match ended in the manner that it did. As you can see, this was very easy to predict which country should have been chased by Bangladesh quite easily. In terms of batting, India didn't do well at all when it came to this match. Despite this, they did a great job of keeping the match interesting throughout the game. As soon as the ninth wicket fell, I never imagined that Bangladesh would be able to win the game. The Bangladeshi team's performance at the end was really good thanks to Mehedi Miraz. Furthermore, he ensured that Bangladesh won the game at the end of the day. It truly was an exciting finish that kept you on the edge of your seat.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 04, 2022, 09:32:50 PM
No one was expecting decision like this from England and Ben Stokes, but they play a big gamble and most chances this will go in their favour specially after wicket of Babar Azam now Pakistani batting lineup is under pressure, and they will not play freely which will help English bowling on fifth day of this test match and this dead match is now going to end in a very entertaining way all praises to England and their management.
Imam-ul-Haq and Saud Shakeel has built a good partnership after losing the first two wickets too quickly. England bowlers got a little success by taking the two early wickets. Babar Azam and Shafique, both players got centuries in the first innings. Therefore Pakistan is really under pressure. But they have a good opportunity to win the match. Rizwan and Azhar Ali have to take the responsibilities in the second innings. Everything will depend on the first session of tomorrow. England bowlers will try to pick some quick wickets in the morning.
Do you think we will see any results of this match? Pakistan needed just 263 runs to win on the final day. It is not a big target if the Pakistani players can stay at the crease. I think Pakistan will win this match if they don't lose wickets in the first session tomorrow. Pakistan lost two wickets for just 25 runs and was in trouble. But Imam Ul Haque and SHakeel are now batting very responsibly. If these two players are able to prolong their partnership, I don't think Pakistan will have any problem to win this match. But batting on the last day and staying at the crease is very difficult.

Pakistan is going to have a good chance of winning this match. In my opinion. Pakistan has a whole day to play and also have eight wickets in hand.
Pakistan is going to need 263 runs to win on the last day. We have to remember that one player of Pakistan is currently retired hurt.
So, Pakistan will have to be careful going for the win.

Yesterday i said that there was not going to be any outcome of this match, except for a draw, but right now a draw seems to be highly unlikely to happen.
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin worth $1.5B withdrawn from Coinbase in 48 hours on: December 04, 2022, 12:37:59 PM

coinbase shouldn't need to make news like this, because it will have a negative effect on centralized exchanges enough FTX and binance are making noise in the exchange world.

Coinbase does not publish this news, you need to know that we are using blockchain, which means everything is transparent and public, everyone can find it on the on-chain data. I don't see this as negative news, it shows that people have awakened and are more concerned about the safety of their property. Besides, this will also cause exchanges to try to improve their services if they still want to stay in business.
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the most Preferred Choice on: December 04, 2022, 12:20:22 PM
Bitcoin is good but not the best! We have many other technically advanced cryptocurrencies available in the market. They are cheaper, more anonymous and faster than bitcoin. The only thing bitcoin is good at is the global network of miners. People have invested millions of dollars to setup their mining operations across the world. They are the backbone of bitcoin and because of them bitcoin is the strongest cryptocurrency in the market if we look at its demand and supply.

That's why it is preferable in most of the cases where cryptocurrency is required. The liquidity of bitcoin is highest among its peers. That's what it is, really!

I agree with your statements.

The reason on why BTC is the preferred investment is due to its price on the market. With that kind of market cap and resource, its inflationary nature is to be preferred by either short/long-term investors in the market. But, given the fact that there are also some altcoins that show potential, diversifying your investments would be a better choice in order to maximize profits.

Like what they say, do not put all your eggs in one basket. Diversify and study the market in order to lessen the risk and maximize your profits.

Are you sure that diversifying your portfolio with altcoins will minimize your risk? Crypto market, bitcoin is considered the safest and the whole market depends on bitcoin, that means only when bitcoin grows can altcoins grow, if bitcoin dies, the market disappears.
Therefore, diversification with altcoins cannot be seen as risk mitigation, not putting your eggs in one basket is investing in other assets like gold or real estate.
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 04, 2022, 12:10:10 AM
I wonder what Simeone is thinking about doing after this break ends. Atletico Madrid have had a quite unsatisfying season so far. This is even worse than the previous season obviously because they haven't even qualified for last 16 round in the Champions League. They didn't have a very tough group for themselves in theory. But their performance was just so poor.

I'm not very positive about their La Liga performance either. Because they are very inconsistent here as well. They won only once considering their last five matches. They are just struggling with winning matches comfortably. But I don't think it is related to the quality of their lineup. Because they have a very powerful lineup actually. It must be related to the game plan they have been using for many years.

Atletico Madrid has lost and dropped points against very ordinary teams this season. They have not played well till now. And they have also been very inconsistent in their performances.
They have lost against Cadiz and probably won't win against Mallorca. You know, these are the points they have to secure.
Similarly, they have drawn against weaker opponents.

I really think they need a change of authority because I do not see the team heading anywhere. If they really want to keep the coach I will say that they should make a complete overhaul of the team. But I think it will be a better option to bring in a new coach.
1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 03, 2022, 09:02:36 PM
If I look at his contract at Werder Bremen, in fact Niclas Füllkrug is still under contract until 2025, so when he is 31 based on the existing contract, Niclas Füllkrug is still playing at Werder Bremen. But yes, with his good performance in this World Cup with two goals and one assist and even though Germany were knocked out, it looks like that is enough for another big club to have an interest in signing Niclas Füllkrug.
Also, if I consider his age, then at least Niclas Füllkrug is still in a productive age, I personally believe that at the end of this season or at least before the end of Niclas Füllkrug's contract at Werder Bremen it looks like Niclas Füllkrug is already playing for a new club.
Because usually, players who do well in events like this World Cup will at least become a higher attraction for big clubs to sign them.
Not only that, even Niclas Füllkrug is currently in the top row of top scorers in the Bundesliga, so that is enough to make me sure that sooner or later Niclas Füllkrug will leave Werder Bremen.
It's a shame Flick didn't see Niclas Füllkrug, in response to Der Panzer's need for their centre-forward position. he was always on the bench and Flick preferred to play Kai Havertz, or Muller as Der Panzer centre-forward. what can it be, Germany was eliminated in the group stage of the world cup Qatar. at least, Flick still has Youssufa Maukoko as an option for young players who can be featured as the main striker for the German national team

However, what is interesting is the performance of Niclas Füllkrug and he contributed 2 goals for Der Panzer. his slick appearance, became the spotlight for the clubs interested in signing him from Weder Bremen in the transfer market this winter. although Füllkrug, has a long contract until 2025 with Weder Bremen. even so, that did not dampen Bayern's interest in considering him as a backup option for Choupo-Moting's replacement, whose contract will expire soon after this season ends.

If the scenario is, Choupo-Moting finally leaves Bayern this summer. Füllkrug is the ideal replacement, to serve as a temporary option before Bavaria target a more ideal player as their centre-forward in the transfer market next summer. after all, to bring in Füllkrug from Weder Bremen. it won't drain a huge budget, as a dowry to bring him to Bavaria.

Choupo-Moting is currently performing well. And I don't know if Füllkrug will be able to replace his performance or do it more effectively.
I am aware that Füllkrug is performing well and making good promises.
It will be interesting to see whether he will be able to live up to the expectations when Bayern Munich brings him into the team. I highly doubt that.

I don't think Bayern Munich should spend money on him and I really think they should save some money and get a high-class striker that they really need at this particular moment.
Otherwise, they will not go far in the Champions League. Yes, they might win the Bundesliga title. But that is not the main concern right now, isn't it?
1489  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mark Mobius Prediction Bitcoin could hit $10k at 2023 on: December 03, 2022, 07:44:15 AM
Although we are having positive signals in the market such as related news on interest rates as well as the economic situation has improved slightly and that has sent bitcoin up slightly over the past few days but I believe we have not really bottomed in this bear season yet. We are still in crypto winter and the tragedy of FTX is not really over yet, as the parties involved in FTX have not been revealed nor have any final damages reported. I support his prediction and believe bitcoin will hit 10k during this bear season.
1490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is BTC to the Society? on: December 03, 2022, 07:30:43 AM
I just want to add an idea about this matter, in my observation and how many years I have been in the cryptocurrency industry, as far as I can see, in a short time this bitcoin will become a necessity in most countries.

Because of this time, whether we admit it or not, there are countless merchants and large companies around the world that accept bitcoin in their businesses, even in tourist spot locations, it is slowly being noticed. . Meaning, its importance is due to its usages and features and it is gradually being seen by the majority of people around the world.

I admit that bitcoin is getting more attention and acceptance in shops, companies, and even some countries that have already accepted it. It is a highly optimistic signal for bitcoin as well as the future of the crypto industry. But honestly, OP's question is asking about how vital bitcoin is to society, and currently, bitcoin is not something that has a significant impact on a country's economy. Bitcoin is not really there, bitcoin is on its way and we need to push it to get there faster, not the illusion that bitcoin has already done it.

Pakistan scored 181 runs in 51 overs by batting today. Pakistan has not lost any wicket so far. But I am waiting to see how Pakistan will play tomorrow. Now the thing to watch is if England can perform well in bowling then Pakistan will not be able to score so many runs in this match.
It is not about the bowling of either England or Pakistan, the pitch is a flat dead wicket and there is no purchase for the bowlers and hence England batsman were able to score freely and made huge runs including two double centuries and now it is the Pakistan batsman's turn to pile in the runs and if they play carefully the match will end up in a draw and some of the batsman will be improving their career averages  Cheesy.
A completely bad pitch. The bowlers are not doing any favors. We saw England's devastating batting. England scored 657 runs in their first innings. But Pakistani batsmen are also playing well. Despite collecting 181 runs, they have not lost any wicket yet. England's two openers Abdullah Shafique and Imam Ul Haque are batting very well. The two Pakistani openers are batting very carefully. There is no doubt that the match is going to be a draw unless there is a batting disaster.

Due to the fact that England has had enough runs on the board, they have lost quick wickets today. At least, that's what I believe to be the case. Currently, Pakistan is batting in the middle of the innings. However, nothing seems to be helping with the bowlers at the moment. In terms of the pitch, they are not getting any help from it. As a result, Pakistan's openers are playing according to their own wishes. I can see this test match being another draw. Do you remember when Pakistan did this against Australia and everyone hated them for it? Compared to the last time, I think the hatred is going to be much more intense this time around.

Well, that is a very attractive interest rate, but after everything that happened to Luna, FTX or lending platforms like Celsius Network and more recently BlockFi also stopped withdrawing and declared bankruptcy. I think no one is interested in depositing money on centralized exchanges for small profit risking almost 100% of our assets.

If you are part of a project, it is not wise to start your project at this point, you should choose a better time. If you are an investor, then take the previous incidents as a lesson and stay away from all centralized platforms.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra Luna Classic - realistic prediction? on: December 02, 2022, 09:51:51 AM
Terra luna classic has pumped in the last 24 hours to almost 0.0002.

This is good sign but not a big enough pump for me, I am not taking any more profit until 0.0003 at least.

What are the chances we have another pump like we did in September?

How many are still buying or holding terra luna classic?

Well, I'm surprised you still care about Lunc after all this trouble. With what FTX has done to the market recently, most people are starting to convert all their assets into bitcoin or they will convert to fiat, hardly anyone is interested in too many altcoins at the moment, especially shitcoins.

The fall of FTX overshadowed Lunc, I remember there was still a lot of topic talk about Lunc before, but now it's almost gone. Does Binance still support Lunc? and is their team still active? I hardly update anything about Lunc.
1494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or altcoin? on: December 01, 2022, 08:21:44 AM
... Sometimes I wonder how peor would choose altcoins over bitcoin, which is one clueless decision to make.
Those who choose altcoins over bitcoin are mostly newbies who want to get rich overnight, newbies always think that the price of bitcoin is too high and no longer able to bring them big profits, and then they look to altcoins. There is nothing wrong with that thinking but they are a bit flawed, they only think about profits without thinking about the risks incurred when investing in altcoins and when they finally lost all their money in altcoins, they realized that investing in bitcoin was the right thing to do.

I have never seen anyone after stealing other people's money and then saying that they intentionally stole everyone's money, all will always excuse themselves as a victim in all those mistakes and say sorry to others. I don't know who is the mastermind behind it all but we do know one thing that SBF runs FTX and he is the one with access to everyone's assets. He has to take responsibility as CEO of FTX, don't try to be innocent or pitiful, billions of dollars are stolen not just a few dollars.
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 01, 2022, 06:46:27 AM
No top strikers want to spend time on the bench, unless they get injured. As long as Benzema is in a good condition, he surely will be the main option as a CF. Sure, it may be one of the reasons why some strikers don't want to join Real Madrid soon. However, everyone knows that Benzema can play in several positions, which means he can play together with a new striker.
Benzema is still a best striker in Real Madrid with great skills and most experience. If he is healthy and ready for matches, Carlo Ancelotti will send him in. It is not depended on Benzema himself but Real Madrid and the coach actually need to have Benzema for their attacking.
It is definitely true that Real Madrid must prepare for Benzema retirement or just his less contribution because of ageing. Anyway, Benzema is still usable for Real Madrid in near future and with his attitude, I don't think he will have issues if in future, he will have a new position, as one of substitutions for Real Madrid.
When you are talking about a player like Mbappe, all teams in the world would be willing to listen to him and give him a chance to join. Real might be disappointed with him, and wanted him and couldn't get him so they could be looking for other players right now, but if Mbappe (well his agent) ever comes knocking the door, they will hear them out and if they can afford to get him (which is hard now) that means we are going to end up seeing him playing for Real, it's all about finances.
PSG kept him because they were willing to offer him insane amount, but if Real got an offer that is realistic then they would love to get him for sure.

Real was ready to offer him 200 million in the last season if I remember correctly.
I do not know what else could be a "realistic" offer other than that.

In fact, the only thing that kept Mbappe in the PSG team was the huge amount of money that the team was giving the player. And obviously, the authority above other players is also quite enjoyable for him. He is not able to improve at his highest level, nor can he build a legacy if he remains at PSG. He will have money but he is not likely to have a legacy. But for a lot of people money is more relevant compared to legacy. Because a legacy is not going to provide for you when you are not a footballer anymore.
1497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 30, 2022, 11:03:34 PM
It is important that Poland don't concede any more goals, but Argentina don't seem to be showing any sign of not wanting to score more goals. Argentina have been good, the players more conscious the importance of every game, that first game loss has made them more serious. I like the way the players are showing dedication in trying to maintain that Poland score no goals, and the way the Argentina players put pressure to get the ball back whenever they loose it, Good character.
Poland lost, but this loss was pleasant compared to Mexico's victory. I mean Poland lost to qualify, while Mexico won to fail, these are two very different conditions. So in the end let's say congratulations to Argentina and Poland who both made it through to the last 16, and it looks like these two teams were predicted to qualify before the World Cup started and they did.

Tomorrow's match will be no less exciting, Belgium and Germany are expected to qualify while other teams have a point advantage over them. So it will be very exciting to look forward to whether these two teams will both qualify in the end or have to pick up their suitcases first.

I heard the commentator at one point during the Argentina vs Poland match mention that there weren't even any questions about where it was possible for Poland to go forward in their next round, depending on the Poland players receiving fewer yellow cards in the coming days. Another reason why Poland played so cautiously towards the end of the match against Argentina was due to the fact that they didn't want to risk conceding a goal at that point of the game.

Tomorrow, it is going to be a really exciting match between Germany and Belgium. This group is still very interesting and it is still not sure who is going to qualify.
1498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 30, 2022, 01:42:41 PM
Union Berlin have started a really disappointing run these days. But I think their supporters are still happy about the position they are at in the league standings now. Because they are only three points behind even the second-placed team right now. They can still regain their old form by focusing on their weaknesses lately.
It will be really difficult for them to take their position back from Bayern Munich for sure. Because Bayern Munich are back in their usual form again and they seem unstoppable for now.
Here I have to say they are now at their level because in start they were doing extraordinary which was not expected from them but now in last five matches they have only four points which mean things are coming on level, but good thing happened for them now we have very long break which mean they have good time for thinking about their future strategy which helps them for having good spot until end of this season which could be good for them because at the start most of the peoples were feeling they can give challenge at the top, but now they are looking for staying into top four which is surely not easy with this current form.
After break if we have good performance from Dortmund and few other clubs then surely we can expect more downfall from them because now Leipzig and Frankfurt already at their best and things could be not easy for them in coming weeks.
Even though Union Berlin's position has continued to decline from before being at the top of the standings, I personally still think that Union Berlin has indeed had an increase in performance from season to season. Because after all, the top position of the Bundesliga belongs to Bayern Munich and even though previously Bayern Munich was not at the top of the standings, that does not mean Bayern Munich will lose its dominance.
Therefore, I personally still don't believe that Union Berlin will return to the top four. In my opinion, teams like Freiburg, Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt this season are indeed very good.
Not only that, at this moment I will also doubt Dortmund for the top four and yes, if Dortmund alone can make me doubt, even more so with Union Berlin. Indeed, during the last two seasons Union Berlin has often had a good chance of finishing in the top four, but I think Union Berlin is still not strong enough at this moment to compete in the top four because of its declining performance.
With these considerations in mind, even though there is still a close gap to fight for the top four, I'm not sure about Union Berlin. Because I think, with Union Berlin being able to finish in fifth or sixth place in the final standings I think that's good enough for Union Berlin.

Union Berlin is not going to perform better from here on. I agree that they are at their level. At the start of the season, they were basically overachieving. And that also happened because Bayern Munich at the start of the season was not playing well. Now there is no chance that Bayern Munich is not going to be the winner.  I don’t think there is any team that is going to be able to give them any competition. Dortmund, Leipzig, Union Berlin none of them are actually as competitive as Bayern Munich.

This four points gap is going to be enough for Bayern Munich In my opinion.
