I do not think Dlisk is a good investment, could not even come up with a good name for the coin (try to ride on lisk hype). I don't know. I have been watching for a while and lost of familiar names I see. I think this one will be good. Of course I could be wrong, nobody's perfect. Even me. |

Im trying to buy. I just sent btc to poloniex but the network is fucking slow as shit with the mempool filled full of transactions.
Hopefully I'll be able to get some cheap but this did teach me a lesson. Always keep a btc or two on the exchanges to be able to take advantage of this.

Yeah I just googled it and saw what was happening. Moved a few btc to poloniex to try and get some cheap eth. Dao may be dead after this though. Good thing im not holding any.  |

Err.. If you don't already know.. DAO is being hacked as we speak..
Can someone explain how this attack is being done ? ( It is a bug in the DAO contract, NOT in Ethereum itself )
Will there be any of $250M left at the end of this.. ?
And what happens if all the money disappears... you can't reset (hard fork) Ethereum just because someone wrote some buggy code.. gonna be a tough call.

OMG. I just looked at the order book and noticed people are building 21 btc (so far) wall on 1000 sat. For now Im still good because my order is in the black but if some of the other big orders follow suit I'll be in the red forsure.  |

Your second transaction spends an output from your first transaction. It will not confirm until the first one does.
If you want both to confirm, all you can do is wait and periodically rebroadcast both transactions. Otherwise, you could create a Replace-By-Fee transaction for the first one which is basically just the same transaction but with a higher fee. This would invalidate the second transaction so you would then have to redo that one as well.
Alternatively you can wait for the network to "forget" the transactions and then resend them.
Couldn't you also try doing a double spend with a higher fee? That way the second spend actually gets processed and the first one never confirms? Or am I wrong? |
