I will give the review a go, it's a slow Monday here and I have little else to do.  Cheesy

Please PM the details.
702  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fruito / Classicdoubler SCAMMER on: January 04, 2016, 11:28:21 AM
I don't understand this. Who is Alaki and what does it have to do with the OP?
I am not a part of this matter and have nothing to do with the OP. Read the full post. I meant to say that he/she/it (fruito) denied / ignored an exchange deal when I asked to use escrow.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1309800.msg13407765#msg13407765

So good to see newer members have the presence of mind to use escrow. Reading your link, this is typical scammer behavior - they will balk at the mention of escrow or you will simply never hear from them again.
703  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P's scammed funds summary. Post your case here if you were scammed. on: January 04, 2016, 12:35:18 AM
Don't need a reward... but I put a nice pretty ~ in my trust settings... then added his account to the right of it...

Smart choice. Both threads on this subject just seem to attract trolls like flies to shit. It would be nice to follow the topic at hand without hearing stupid ideas every 3 posts.
704  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P's scammed funds summary. Post your case here if you were scammed. on: January 04, 2016, 12:28:03 AM
The Pharmacist, you'll sleep well because you got no skin in the game.
Way to ruin the lives of those who do, I hope you're proud of yourself Angry

What does it matter when iam only remove the red trust? Alot of people rated him negative. You would need to bring all of them to the point to remove the rating. I think that will be hard.

So it's too much trouble for the lynch mob to change their red trust to green, even if it means the victims would be reimbursed?
Is that what the trust system is for?

Quote
It's the escrow name that is burned.

You burn Master p, so now 'ZOMG it's burnt'?! Nothing is burnt. If the account is bought for 20BTC, it could escrow anything up to that without any problems.
Some people just like to watch the world burn Angry

Where the fuck did that 20BTC stem from, when all the fake figures I've seen were ~2 btc was supposedly paid for the account, which HAS been disproved?

He thinks that the account alone is some kind of turnkey escrow business and don't know how low rewarding the escrow work is when it comes to financial reward. So he thinks the business must be worth that much.

Anyone that gets coltlover on the bus off to retard school gets a 1 BTC reward from me.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HAM - HamRadioCoin - SHA 256 - Crypto on the radio! Official Thread on: January 03, 2016, 11:36:22 PM
Congratulations to crunk and good luck to Alex and Garmin moving forward.

I spoke with one of the developers via PM today and I believe I have reached the point where my ideas can no longer benefit the HAM community. I don't say this in a bad way at all, just that obviously we are moving in different directions. I will continue to focus on Bitcoin development which is my primary goal.

Thank you Garmin and Alex for the wild ride, it has certainly been fun and indeed I learned a lot here. Again I wish the new community the best and will certainly keep an eye on developments.
706  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Got a pywallet dump, now what? Please! on: January 03, 2016, 08:18:57 PM
This might be of help to you if you plan on using Electrum then: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transferring_coins_from_Bitcoin-Qt_to_Electrum

I haven't used Electrum in some time, I use my own reference implementation of bitcoin to cut down on footprint. QT is excessively bloated and I don't mind working in command line. I use a couple of shell/perl scripts for tasks I perform on a regular basis, i.e. sending coins and signing messages.
707  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P's scammed funds summary. Post your case here if you were scammed. on: January 03, 2016, 07:47:56 PM
I think I have another good idea:
Master p could auction his username, except for the lynch mob (most of them with no skin in the game) debasing the Master p value with negative trust. So what I'm thinking is guys, please remove the red trust, and leave green trust, so the name will be really valuable again. Master p will auction it off (it's almost like buying a turnkey escrow business), and he'll be able to pay  back everyone sooner.

What does everyone think? But please, no knee-jerk insults and whining for "justice" from the torches & pitchforks peanut gallery.
Only constructive suggestions from those with some skin in the game.

You already made r/buttcoin with yesterday's post: https://redd.it/3z780u  Trying to bat 1000 ?
708  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Got a pywallet dump, now what? Please! on: January 03, 2016, 07:22:17 PM
Well it depends on what wallet you intend to import your private keys into. Have you made a choice of wallet yet?

I agree that core is becoming a bloated mess, but beware that SPV wallets do not download the entire blockchain so you are left trusting the servers it connects to.
709  Economy / Reputation / Re: Spoetnik gave me -ve feedback for no reason on: January 03, 2016, 06:43:02 PM
Well he isn't in default trust so it really doesn't affect your score, the -ve feedback shows up under "untrusted feedbck" only.

It seems you have had a couple of successful trades with other members so by comparing his feedback vs. yours I doubt it would cause anyone not to want to do business with you based on that alone.
710  Economy / Reputation / Re: The worst scam going on RIGHT NOW on bitcointalk - Bcarefull!! on: January 03, 2016, 05:01:03 PM
Oh look another member butthurt because he gets neg-repped by a default trust member. Is that what this is?

I see a lot of feedback from non-trusted members regarding your activities too. So is this all some conspiracy to harm your reputation? I am afraid more information is required.

713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Team FLY : *NEW WALLET* v1.77 RELEASED 12/28/2015!! on: January 03, 2016, 03:35:29 PM
You begin a never ending discussion: Miners are greedy and sell for every last sat and litoshi of their mined coins, which is made by an equipment, what a normal user never reaches, because the MININGPOOLS are too big! You have to wait for years before u can experiment with prices!
Its also wrong to cry a scam for premined coins! There are much coins, which are premined and hold very strong on coinmarketcap! But the most important point you all forgot:
Its not a completely premine: Its a swap too! And YES...we bring this coin to a new life...and YES, we wanna be paid for our work!
Now the ugly truth in Bitcoin: 2% of the richest Bitcoiners hold over 95% of all Bitcoins! Now, I wanna hear ONLY ONE intelligent reason, why I should buy BITCOIN?

You all only see, what WE can earn, but u never see ur own opportunities. That is not businessthinking...You all, who cried right now, have also the opportunities to make a coin and bring money in cryptoworld! But you dont do that, because its easier to cry than to work! Its easier to FUD, than to bring a coin into life!
But its nice to see your faces on the table!

Greetz
Meta

You misunderstand me, not FUD and I have plenty of opportunities to earn without resorting to these schemes. Crypto happens to be my day job so don't tell me it is easier to cry than to work.

Anyway, everyone is free to do as they wish in this space. I wish you all the best of luck moving forward.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Team FLY : *NEW WALLET* v1.77 RELEASED 12/28/2015!! on: January 03, 2016, 02:37:33 PM
Team FLY..with respect.

I really dont see how launching a new coin through another swap with such a huge pre mine for you is going to help FLY or your credibility.
Pre mines are pretty much frowned upon in crypto and this might be the biggest one I have ever seen. Add to that the big stake percentages in special wallets you have given yourselves on top of being the top holders to start with.

Honestly, I am pretty disappointed in this move when you flat out declared that this was going to be your only coin.
I doubt you will get many buying into this. It just looks bad, like a really big cash grab.

I have to agree. Premines are a giant turnoff, I had this same discussion with hamradiocoin numerous times.

I am afraid this makes me rethink considering any work on FLY at all, even from my minimal hobby standpoint.  Undecided

EDIT: Same applies to instamines and "IPO" coins (like reddcoin). Most are scams from the start.
715  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-01-03] The final days of the Bitcoin Foundation? on: January 03, 2016, 02:31:46 PM
"The Bitcoin Foundation" just needs to dissolve already. I already argued this point with Bruce Fenton in a thread he made 2 weeks ago. No one at the foundation has any money management concepts at all - just take a look at the financials that were released, a concise summary is in r/buttcoin of all places: https://www.reddit.com/r/Buttcoin/comments/3z1n18/happy_new_year_presenting_the_long_overdue/

Paying that idiot Gavin $147k a year to foster dissent in the community isn't one of their shining moments either.

Gavin has a point to increase the blockchain size. Without increasing it, bitcoin will be dead.

You seem especially qualified to opine on this subject with posts like:
I use the Core Client, is it a full node? From the above comment, I do not have to open port 8333 to be full node? Does the full node require static IP?

This is false and has been discussed countless times - increasing blocksize right now is reckless as there are other far more crucial matters that need to be fixed first. You can follow the XT is already #rekt thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1162684.0

If you still carry that attitude after careful research I just have to assume you are redditarded and add you to my ignore list.

717  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fruito / Classicdoubler SCAMMER on: January 02, 2016, 10:22:24 PM
Wow, I dunno what to believe about this guy. I'm sorry I just don't have any more information.

~snip~

Hes saying I can confirm that password, yes I can. I posted it in the original post...I dunno if this is all true or just covering for all his accounts. I mean I was scammed either way, the btc is not coming back. so if fruito is actually innocent, I don't want him punished. But honestly I just don't believe this. what do you guys think?

That's why I am waiting to see what happens or what else I can uncover. suchmoon and shorena both posted in the other thread, and if there are any two better people at untangling scams on these forums I haven't met them yet. (EDIT: There is mexxer-2 my bad)

I will naturally change my personal feedback on fruito's account to neutral if this story is indeed true. But still requires further investigation.
718  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P's scammed funds summary. Post your case here if you were scammed. on: January 02, 2016, 09:49:09 PM
I was robbed of my virginity here but I've never taken a cent from anyone on this forum.  Except twice when I sold some MyCokeRewards codes to another user.  All that other trust feedback on my profile is bullshit!!

Doesn't really matter anyway since it is not from anyone in default trust, and is obvious retalitory feedback.

Anyway, no more off-topic posts for me. We can start a coltlover is smacktarded thread in off-topic for this. Arguing with idiots is pointless.

Looking at this project. Interested in knowing if there are any plans for it at this time other than abadonning it. I have a dev on my team that is willing to look at working with it. His first concern is the diff though. Also, we were Looking at the possibility of cross support with a new coinwe are developing that also supports dual algo. Just thought I would throw this out there and see if anyone is interestd or even responds. Thanks.

This sounds very interesting, Garmin had discussed adding merged mining at one time. Multi algo would be nice too however.

I agree that this coin won't be totally abandoned I am just a little bummed right now that Alex and Garmin have decided to give up so suddenly. My attempts to talk him out of it failed.

No wonder everybody hates bitcoiners & satoshi split, this really is a poisonous community.
Thanks for the warm welcome, now I don't feel sorry for you at all.
Master p, enjoy the money. They deserve everything they get.
Yes, you too, siameze.

You're welcome. Try thinking a little bit before posting retarded ideas and you might find the community a little less toxic next time.  Roll Eyes
