OKAY I've done some reading thanks to cryptapus and BitcoinNational and I'm nearly prepared to properly secure my UNO for long term storage. > At https://cryptap.us/uno/paperwallet.html , right click, 'save as..', save to USB drive. > Burn Tails to DVD > Restart computer through Tails OS. > Open cryptap.us program, generate 10 addresses with 10% of my holdings designated for each. > Save the public addresses and private keys to two encrypted flash drives using a strong but memorable passphrase. Store each drive hidden in different locations. > importprivkey 1 of the addresses in control panel of 0.10b encrypted wallet. Do I have that right? Did any of you do this? I have never used Tails so I'm not yet sure if it will be easy to access and open the wallet generator using that OS. I'm also not sure how to copy>paste the addresses into a document to be saved to the flash drive, is there some kind of wordpad-like program in Tails?Cryptap.us also says this "If you are familiar with PGP you can download this all-in-one HTML page and check that you have an authentic version from the author of this site by matching the SHA1 hash of this HTML with the SHA1 hash available in the signed version history document linked on the footer of this site." but that seems like something that is not necessary if I'm saving it directly from the site?Of course I will test with small amounts first, but I want to be sure I have this right before starting. A lot of people have been super ungrateful lately just because he made a really cool use-case of the testnet into a separate wallet. I for one, do not want to see HagbardCeline go anywhere or get discouraged to work on the coin due to assholes.
+1! Exactly, when the developers work for altruistic reasons, it is helpful if we appreciate their work. If HC wants to do a side program for testing, so be it. It is his time to spend. If you would like to partake / learn in the side project, be a part of it. If you have no interest, remember your mother when she said that if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all... in I have loved tweaking it over the past few weeks. IT IS a wow-whoah day isn't it? Triggers were hit and hit, then hit again until no more were set heh. I was helping eat the Un wall and then the value of BTC took a bit of a swan. However I remain extremely confident in both and consider now a great time to setup more buys. I am setting up a rather large mining rig and humming along for the ride. I'll be pulling an all day-nighter to get things reorganized as this one requires a large amount of wattage for my small home farm. On the subject of power, fuses, and breakers... .. on the other hand maybe we can use them as a tool to fund developement? Just give lots of Proto to Blazr2 and whenever you feel like donating to him you just put a buyorder at the Proto market up. This way donations for developement do not put sellpressure on the Uno market which would be an advantage. Just keep in mind: Proto shoud be free... Putting a higher price on it than 'free' is risky - but probably fun for pocketchange. Probably going to stay a tiny market floating on 10$ total buysupport.
I agree wholeheartdly that testnet coins should not be used as an independent market, but for actual development(tm). |

So as you guys know I put 20% of my net-worth in UNO at 0.009. Not a big deal but we just grazed the 0.007's. You think this will head down into the 0.007's or 0.006's or is $2.10 the approximate floor? There is less buy support than I'm used to seeing even at these low levels.
