242  Other / Meta / Re: Hhampuz Ban Appeal on: February 24, 2019, 05:25:41 PM
This is going to hurt a lot of forum members who are in your signature campaigns. I have no idea why we are seeing the bans more than before. I have seen another legendary account with 10k+ posts got banned for 30 days and it was today.

Is there any changes in the banning system?

@Hhampuz, I hope this gets resolved very soon. And I also hope it will not hurt the running campaigns you have on the forum.
243  Other / Meta / Re: My account has been banned.... on: February 24, 2019, 12:02:26 PM
What sort of messages? Unsolicited spam PMs? If so, one might be enough to get you banned. Don't exactly see how this relates to the topic at hand.

Quote
You are banned from posting or sending personal messages
So I thought there are some limits of sending message.

No question about Unsolicited spam PMs by the way.

Retina, you really need to read and understand the forum rules.

25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed.[e]

25. If you get banned (temporarily or permanently) and create a new account to continue posting / sending PMs, it's considered ban evasion. The only exception is creating a thread in Meta about your ban.

How about this? JFF
245  Other / Meta / Re: My account has been banned.... on: February 24, 2019, 11:41:33 AM
It looks like it, because it the ban is only temporary.
Trying to understand that you wrote however I guess I did. This brings another question for me.

How many message (PM) considered to be ban worthy? Is there a limit or how do the mod decide it?
246  Other / Meta / Re: my 2011 bitcointalk Hero account hacked on: February 24, 2019, 11:28:58 AM

He signed a 2015 one, he obviously needs to get his account back. This forum cannot let this sort of injustice happening, it's really nonsense, considering it takes a minute to reset the password to his requested email. Theymos seriously needs to hire staff to get this done faster or if someone gets rejected, at least explain why and don't let the guy waiting infinitely.
I am not much regular in the board anymore because of some shit happened with my image in here however I do miss the community and love it. I thought this hack/lost account issue was started to take seriously but looking at this makes me feel bad.

Theymos is failing to satisfy his members I am afraid. Getting hacked or any accident is a normal thing for any kind of online accounts. Please do something for this types of incidence and give the accounts back to the members.

OP, Have you tried here:  Recovering hacked/lost accounts
247  Other / Meta / Re: A Hope for the Progress of this Forum on: February 24, 2019, 11:18:49 AM

I agree. If you ask me KYC today then I like to see the KYC of the satoshi first.

I would like to see theymos's first LOL

We have talked about KYC several times. KYC does not go with the concept of Bitcoin besides like The Pharmacist and other said, this is a forum not an investment bank LOL

Lol KYC is disclosed to forum staffs or admins only
Why would I trust staffs?
248  Other / Meta / Re: My account has been banned.... on: February 24, 2019, 11:10:50 AM
redsn0w It is your account am I right?
can you tell me why you created a new account? I think also this account is banned coming soon because of your multiple accounts and banned evasion.
NB:  You break new rules by creating a new account so sad man.

What are you talking about LOL
He created this account to deal with his real account ban.

Anyway, I think this must be an error. An account with 10471 posts certainly holds huge value for the forum. The original account also earned few merits as well.

Mods, admin should have a look into this issue.

By the way redsn0w, you may try here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0
249  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need opinion about "Multi Asset Security Token BTC Campaign" by newbie. on: February 21, 2019, 08:19:19 PM
So try to describe your honest opinion.
Why do you question my honesty? Did  I gave you an impression that this was a fake statement?

Work with newbies not against them. You never know the next newbie might be the next best forum member for the future.

I know it might be damage reputation OP if in case they are real. On the other hand they are not agree to talk about escrow fund. So I am bit confused about my feedback. May be I will remove feedback if I am wrong. Want to know community opinions.
This is what you get from me.

That's fucking absurd. Why the fuck Coolcryptovator is giving neg for this? Give the benefit of the of the doubt. You think it's going to help the forum? You never know may be the user indeed will pay. Giving this neg will surely harm the campaign if this was indeed intending to be a legit one.

This is what happen when you give DT power to some nobs.

251  Economy / Services / Re: [SIG] Multi Asset Security Token Signature Campaign [OPEN] on: February 21, 2019, 07:43:20 PM
To OP, I noticed that you've got neg tagged by not using escrow and it might be removed if you using trusted escrow.
If you need, you might refer to this thread and find a trusted escrow: Few Trusted Escrow Provider

I hope it will help you out that issue mate, good luck.

During the verification course BitBay’s specialist identified a suspected infringement regarding the actual state of the user’s registration on our platform, and thus we have doubts as to the source of the funds. Therefore, the procedures specified in the regulations on counteracting money laundering and financing of terrorism were implemented.

After check we can also confirm that contact via chat is available and of course if need help do not hesitate to contact us, but you can contact our security department only via email message.

What does that means for the user?
What happens with the fund that was transferred?
Does that mean that you can keep the fund?

This does not sound good. Please update status.
254  Other / Serious discussion / Re: I've just received this scam email. on: February 21, 2019, 10:47:07 AM
I received this message here twice LOL:

Quote
Hi, this account has been hacked! Change the password right now!
You probably do not know me me and you really are probably wondering for what reason you're getting this particular email, is it right?
I'm ahacker who openedyour email boxand devices and gadgetsseveral months ago.
It will be a time wasting to try out to talk to me or alternatively find me, it's impossible, because I forwarded you this message from YOUR own account that I've hacked.
I've started malware software on the adult vids (porn) website and guess that you spent time on this site to have fun (you understand what I really mean).
While you have been paying attention to movies, your internet browser began functioning as a RDP (Remote Control) having a keylogger which gave me access to your display and camera.
Next step, my applicationgatheredall data.
You entered passcodes on the websites you visited, I intercepted all of them.
Without a doubt, you could possibly modify each of them, or possibly already modified them.
Even so it does not matter, my malware updates information every time.
What did I do?
I compiled a backup of the device. Of all files and personal contacts.
I formed a dual-screen record. The first part demonstrates the film you had been observing (you have the perfect preferences, wow...), and the 2nd part reveals the tape from your own web camera.
What exactly should you do?
Good, in my view, 1000 USD is a reasonable price for our very little riddle. You will do the deposit by bitcoins (if you do not know this, go searching “how to buy bitcoin” in Google).
My bitcoin wallet address:
1NwbnYRDJwcAXRwRsJMZRFs7Gt4psir5S9
(It is cAsE sensitive, so copy and paste it).
Important:
You will have 2 days to perform the payment. (I put an exclusive pixel in this letter, and at this moment I understand that you've read through this email).
To trackthe reading of a letterand the activityin it, I set upa Facebook pixel. Thanks to them. (The stuff thatis appliedfor the authorities should helpus.)

In the event I fail to get bitcoins, I'll immediately direct your videofile to each of your contacts, including family members, co-workers, etc?

There are several points which makes the email 100% scam attempts and the user does not even have any idea about me.

1.

This is a simple php function mail("someone@example.com","My subject",$msg);
Using this you can send email to anyone even it does not require a sender email.

Lie which I have not done for ages. This is a common interest for all male so scammers try it in general.

I am 100% cool with these emails by the way. There are no hackers LOL

So, would you care a Negative trusted member to fill the spot?

I made a dumb mistake that result me my first red tag from a DT which led me to have the 2nd one but this has been changed to Neutral recently. There was a claim to be my alt. May be you want to see this too.

The other two red tags came from two friends. Who are newly added to the DT network after the trust system changed. They both have personal problem with me (which I believe) because I suspected them to be involved with merit exchanging long ago.

These two red trust I believe came from retaliatory. One of the member in fact challenged me to shut me down at the beginning. May be reading some of the posts which was posted very early will give you the clear idea of the intention.

Anyway, I used to be a high poster but now a days I do not post much. May be I will be regular when I feel right inside. There are too many burden/too many explanation/too many judgements around when an account have red tag and who enjoy it?

By the way, all of my merits were/are earned. Self made Sr here. Even though I have red tag but still I was accepted by several bitcoin paying campaign managers because of my active participation in the forum.

If the negatives means not much to you and if you consider me to be a part of the Yolo campaign then I will add my information and will wear the signature and other stuffs which required for the campaign.

I can assure you one thing is that: You will not regret accepting me. I try my best to help the community with my skill sets.
256  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: February 20, 2019, 11:24:22 AM
UPDATE

Thank you CLOUDBET thank you BITCOINTALK!!! They paid me my whole 330 BTC!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! CASE IS RESOLVED!!

Swofty
Awesome! Finally the success. Good job cloudbet and congratulations Swofty.

I hope you learnt a lesson here: Do not risk this much money for any gambling site. It's beyond craziness and stupidity.
257  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: February 19, 2019, 12:09:25 PM
  • The account holder is NOT the person that he/she states it is, nor are they in the location they state.
This matters why exactly? You've said it yourself, if they're from a restricted country then you return the balance. The user has proven that the originating addresses are owned by them, and that is sufficient. Here we have it, yet another delay. Just send them their money to the addresses where it came from and ban/delete them permanently. This takes very little time.

I suggested the same in the scam accusations topic. It's time to take prompt action instead of all these drama. They have already taken enough time.

By the way cloudbet, I left a question for you there too. I hope you address it.

Archived for reference.
258  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet not responding for my 330 BTC withdrawal on: February 19, 2019, 12:05:19 PM
Morning all,

I have posted a statement on our meta thread that should help to answer some of the concerns raised by the community in regards to this case.

You can read the statement in full here

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

What is holding you to return the deposit? You can settle the winnings later

This entire explanation brings another point to me:
What if Swofty/someone from prohibited region lose all their bets? Would you investigate and when found the prohibited zone then you would return the balance?

I hope you will give an answer here.

Again, return the deposits of Swofty then suggest him to go whoever you like (Curacao Egaming or whatever). You have wasted to much time so far. This time is very unreasonable.

My question: is this topic relevant in the meta section of Russian forum?
Isn't it something you ask to the Russian local board members?

PS: Do you guys have a reputation section? If yes then I guess it's a reputation topic. Just used the google translator LOL
260  Other / Meta / Re: Asking to ban of gambling advertisement on this forum on: February 18, 2019, 06:51:39 PM
~
In this forum I believe we all are adult. So if I gamble then I am responsible for me. Gambling is an entertainment same as watching movies, sports etc.

DT members claim to protect people from scams.
DTs are not parents. They are here to keep the community standard in order. I get it that DT system is individuals are not 100% neutral, not non-biased however they are human too. I know a lot of DTs doing their job right or at least trying to do their best.

I see no problem to promote gambling sites in this forum unless they are not scamming their customers like recent cloudbet incidence. When we find any of them is trying to scam then we better stop endorsing them. Ruin their reputation so that the next person do not get scammed.
