Can the hash on the S5 be split 50/50 so it can be shared with two people ?
yes.. set up 2 pools with different usernames, then on the first pools password put --load-balanced. i think or you can try --balanced. or you can just send half the btc to his account? also keep in mind power costs money, so anything you do wont be 50/50 I think you are on to something with just one BTC address. Load balance makes more sense if you were wanting to do some as PPS and some as Solo or something like that. If you are mining and splitting costs just mine to one BTC and subtract costs, and divide it into your and his personal BTC address's weekly or so. We both actually work for a living and don't want to worry about who sent what when. Either way, when philip chimes in I suspect I will have the answer I need. If load balancing can be made to work which he suggested, that's what I will use.

You could try load balancing. But why not just split the payout manually? I'm not sure how accurate load balancing is on Antminer or even if it works. load balancing works on s-3's pretty well but certain pools will really fuck you . It is possible to lose due to errors. As for s-5's I am not sure. notice the workers named philipma1957.3 philipma1957.4 have high errors. I split them f2pool/cksolopool and I lost a ton of hash until I figured the issue out. So what did you figure out ? Really need to be able to split hash on the three S5's me and a buddy got.

Started out with 10000. Then after the first resync I had a wallet without errors with 25000. My IP was in red, so after another resync, now I have 250.
Guess I'm out.
How the hell did u start with 10k ?

Already registered for another site but in there now. So how do coins locked to a channels name get sent to a wallet when I install one to my crypto machine ?

Hey spots, sent you a PM last night. Don't know if you got it.

This doesn't seem to have anything to do with this guide but I suspect me and the person I'm working with might get more help here. Trying to compile bucks with gitian, made it past the install log but seems to have hiccuped with building. It was hinted it may be a missing package but f if we can figure it out. Am running in to this though if anyone has any ideas... using gitian but I doubt it's a gitian specific error. From the window where the command was issued to "begin"... If you guys look at rickys image which reveals the first letter of the address... you'll see he's getting multiple payments to diff addresses. That looks very much like the payout to multiple nodes he's consolidated to one wallet like I have done. I suspect he instead has a decent MN setup than anything else.
I mean maybe with me having a job in the real world and not caring so much about this profit or that profit from this coin I possibly missed something. But rickys image looks more like nothing more than some decent luck in the node system.

From your gitian-build folder Open and review var/build.log and var/install.log and paste the output, never gitian built anything from spots but fuckit im currently doing another coin so ill bite and help I really should have read more. Thats a compiler error, either packages missing (i doubt) or more likley bad code Well, thx for at least replying and trying. Hoping it's just missing package but the question then becomes which one. If it's bad code then I suppose I may as well give up. All I've been trying to do is test some code but that's easier said than done unfortunately. All I know is I'm just about at my wits end and have considered giving up... seems I can't really get the help I need even when offering a 2k bounty.

Did have luck in the past with help on errors, grant it I was trying to use ming, but if anyone can possibly help with this one I'd appreciate it. Using gitian, or trying to. Ty. Calling it a night but I sent ya a PM IGS offering up 2k BUCKS for your help, paid to you or given away if your prefer.
I will try to find you some links tonight. Btw, those changes are being tested right now before I give you a copy that might fuck something up. They are on Github right now I saw that, I'm still working on trying to do my own build using gitian which are better than they were. So making some headway. That being said, once I get working qt I can test said changes. But ya, from what was told to me my Udjin from DASH. Those changes should allow the masternode.conf to be parsed when using "masternode list-conf". Edit: I should add that the bounty is to be paid upon me getting up a successful system that lets me locally build my own d and qt files in the manner that you do using Mint should I not succeed with gitian by the time you post the info. Should you post the info and I have succeeded using gitian. I will still pay a bounty but in the amount of 1k BUCKS. I'm going to try to write up a mingw guide and set a new one up myself. I think the people who would need to use it will be using Windows. I've always had issues with it, but I'll work from a clean OS this weekend and try to write down the steps with updated links and versions Ya, linux d files I can do cleanly. But it's the windows qt files I'm working on that's giving me soo much trouble. So definately will be looking forward to all this if the gitian stuff I'm working on now doesn't pan out.

People, you need to realize since the chain will be rolled back to block 734000, all transactions after this block will be deleted. So how much balance you own till that block, only the exchange knows.
Once BIGcoin recovers, we need to chalk out a plan to recover the balance of users and we'll need support of exchange.
Well, we need to look at it like this then. All my coins were bought at c-cex. Whose to say what block I obtained em at, let alone if c-cex even keeps extensive logs for shit like that. Or still has any since the balance no longer shows there. However, of the ~284k coins I "have", lets say I get rolled to like ~100k then that means I am either owed ~184k BIGCOIN or BTC equivelant. The question then becomes, who the F coughs up whats owed ? But you did say 3 weeks max like 4.5 - 5 weeks ago.
|
|
|
I'm extremely sorry about this.
3 weeks maximum.
Hope whenever this is fixed it's still on c-cex because I got ~284k coins locked up there. What exactly is it that's supposed to be wrong right now ? Would really love to know wtf is goin on, I can't even find my balance in c-cex now... maybe it's late and I'm just blind but if I lose my coins I wont be very f'n happy ! I'd say were well past your 3 week max.
