I know this fluctuates a lot but DAMN...

Nice drop from what it was last night.

Pool Speed 8,356 TH/s

Seems everyones taken to the hills with the NYC shit being tossed around lol

I'm thinking it's something else.  The NYC post was put on the website 6 days ago.  We didn't see any change in speed at all until yesterday.
Well yesterday I saw it at mid 9k's, just now it's back around 8.6k's

Still weird though with whats been "lost" the past two days... never seen movement like this before.

I'm kinda curious if the hash were losing has to do with all this NYC talk here.

9.3x PH as of this post.
1204  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: July 25, 2014, 06:22:39 AM
I reopened my account to use as a backup, enabled 2FA by scanning the QR code.

But it seems no matter how many times I log out an back in I'm not being asked for a code.

*scratches head*

If I understand your post correctly,

2FA is for changing the payout address, if set up, not for logging in.
Lol, either way 2FA is better served against login IMHO.

what can someone do to your login account if they can't change the payout address?
use their miners on your account?  don't seem too bad to me.
It's a preference, but to put a spin on it.

It's like sure, you can break in to my house... its ok because everything's bolted down so you can't steal anything.

It's the idea of just having someone "inside".

The Mihcael things just easier because I find myself sayin the name in my head and just don't know how to pronounce your forum name.

The Greek word ἐλευθερία (pronunciation: [elefθeˈria]), commonly transliterated in English as eleutheria or phonetically spelled eleftheria, is an ancient and modern Greek term for, and personification of, liberty. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eleutheria
So I'll call him liberty from now on then lol

If he does not mind...

 Grin
It's a hell of a lot easier than some greek shit lol

how is NYC going to do anything about a pool hosted in a different state
AFAIK, it seems Michael believes that it would spread from NY and I guess that's why he's looking at shutdown scenarios.

the only thing that guy can spread is hot air and bullshit
Might want to reword that if your talking about a NY rep and not Michael lol

That's easily mis-understood.

Edit: When I said Michael, I meant the pools owner.

You should probably just stick to calling me Eleuthria in order to avoid that confusion.  It even takes me a minute to realize it's referencing me (I have a strong disconnect between online and offline communication).

I still obviously have access to my phone, can I get this "code" if I never saved it from setup to which I do not recall ?

I don't believe there is any way to do it after the fact, other than removing the 2FA (most sites with 2FA should let you remove it by using the already enabled 2FA) and adding it again.  I generally take a screen grab of the QR code and save it to a TrueCrypt volume as my backup.
Ahh, so it's the QR code one would save... thx for that.
1213  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: *** GHash.IO mining pool official page *** on: July 24, 2014, 01:14:01 AM
Anyone else having issues with 2FA on Ghash? I've tried it multiple times trying to withdraw BTC.. But won't receive a text or phone call with my code.
No issues here.

Got a good contact email for them? I've tried emailing them before about certificate issues but never got a response.
I don't have an email for them but I use the Google 2FA app on all sites I'm able to so I don't have to wait for codes.

I actually just got a whole bunch, must have been a reception issue.

I didn't do the google auth because if you lose your phone are you shit out of luck? Or is that incorrect?
Not sure TBH with you but I don't think your SOL.

If you didn't save the token used to setup your 2FA and lose your phone, you are SOL.  If you're not, then that means they will remove 2FA, eliminating the security it provides.  Making exceptions just means your system is vulnerable to social engineering.

I've run my two btcgarden machines on the guild with no issues at 512, though they point at p2pool for now.

So I don't think they have the issue the dragons have
512 a piece ? Thats a hell of a jump from the stated 310 lol.

He's talking about difficulty setting...
I just woke up when I posted that lol but the dif makes more sense lol

Although worth noting they do run at 330ghs and stable when clocked to 330mhz. Power consumption goes up about 40 watts which isn't that awful for a 30gh gain.

but yes, with regards to the 512, I was talking about the diff setting for the pair together.
What was stock speed on yours when you set them up and let em run for a while ?
