241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are having the difficult time, are you still a Bitcoin HODL? on: March 29, 2020, 01:32:07 PM
That's right, we are likely going to see one of the greatest economic recession ever in human history. The outcome or way forward of this outcome will depend largely on the success of curbing the spread of COVID 19. If things keep getting worst this will be one of the times to purchase bitcoins at a very low price but you would also have to note that it will be a very long term investment and not a short one.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I sold my 0.67 BTC!! on: March 29, 2020, 01:06:12 PM
ouch! sorry, the pangs of life had to squeeze your hands to let go of such a GEM but then again, man must feed and take care of his family too. That's the right decision you took @OP because i know New York is one the states with over half of the COVID 19 cases reported from the US. Things are going to get tough over there but I hope our scientists come with a remedy to curb this disease.
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: March 28, 2020, 03:34:45 PM
The panic sell is because people have been laid off work and need money to feed their household you know. That's why so many others are liquidating their assets and mind you not every country is giving its citizens money like what we see in Europe and USA.
244  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: March 27, 2020, 09:36:07 PM
It would really take a while if you look at how things are unfolding especially how things seem to get worst for some countries. Italy has now overtaken over the rank as it has now recorded the country with the highest death.  Things are also not looking too good with the US and I fear it could get worst in the next month. Let's pray they find a remedy to this disease as soon as possible.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Holders actually bought BTC during the crash? on: March 27, 2020, 09:15:17 PM
Absolutely, anybody who believes in bitcoin investment would definitely take advantage of this dump in the price of bitcoin to purchase more in order to double his profits once the crypto market bounces back again. I remember when I took half of my salary and bought bitcoin when it reduced to $5k. I am into profits already at this level but I am waiting till $10K then i can decide to start selling.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: March 27, 2020, 09:01:00 PM
Damn! never thought about this Undecided I need to buckle up during this recession and accumulate for myself bitcoins at its cheaper rate. it's never late until the life in us is take away. #HODL!
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Calling the Bitcoin community to help battle COVID-19 on: March 25, 2020, 12:21:59 PM
This is a great initiative and I would contribute my quota as well. Moreover this ain't any demanding task that everyone should have a problem with. Also, this would help expose the bitcoin community hence in a way contributing to its adoption in the long run. Don't see any reason why anybody would not like tot join.
248  Economy / Economics / Re: Start investing so you can quit your job and retire early. on: March 25, 2020, 11:58:26 AM
Investing at an early age will surely save you from unforeseen situations like that of COVID 19. Just imagine having to back from active work and you have no other investment to make you a good amount of money to take care of your family. How are you going to take care of the daily family needs? I have started saving some money towards the future and I am doing this basically for my kids just in case I depart earlier from this world.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: March 25, 2020, 11:52:44 AM
Decentralized exchanges surely have a good use case to present to the crypto community but one thing that i have realized among them is the slow performance on most of them. Investors and traders would still prefer to use Centralized exchanges if they can trade without any hitches on some of these decentralized exchanges. Ethershift is one of the upcoming exchanges which i think has a great future in the coming years.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Hardware wallet really secure enough? on: March 24, 2020, 01:44:04 PM
To the best of my knowledge, hardware wallets are the safest wallets to keep your cryptocurrencies safe. i once heard about this same issue with Trevor wallet but later on I got to understand that funds of users were not lost. However, i would like to suggest the use of Ledger or Ellipal wallet to you because I have been using them both and I can say for sure that they are really secured and have never suffered any attack by hackers.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for the dip days as an investor on: March 24, 2020, 01:21:43 PM
One strategy that I have been employing ever since i got into this industry is to diversify my portfolio with both volatile cryptocurrencies and stable coins as well. So that when the market takes a dump you can use stable coins like USDT to purchase more of any cryptocurrency to increase your profit in the future when the market rises.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to everyone today on: March 24, 2020, 01:10:53 PM
Remember the financial crisis in 2008 when banks stopped customers from withdrawing funds? Then drip feeding tiny amounts to customers via ATMs. This is going to happen again, this time it will be worse.

Take your financial freedom in your own hands, Buy crypto today
I wish this industry was well-developed enough to make such shorts but the reality is we are not. Ask yourself how many marketplaces or online stores out there accept bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as payment. Moreover with the recent dump in the value of cryptocurrencies I don't think anybody would prefer spending their cryptocurrencies right now. It's a sad situation but I don't think buying crypto is the solution we need.
253  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: March 23, 2020, 05:43:17 PM
Yeah, most countries did not really take the spread of the virus seriously and now it has overwhelmed them with the number of deaths that it has claimed especially in Italy and China. This has really slowed economic activities worldwide and frankly speaking i don't think the spread of the virus is going to go down any moment from now. Better to get some passive income earning source for the time being.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus crypto on: March 23, 2020, 05:27:10 PM
Hey, I was wondering, how will the crypto market react to the virus?
In this regard, I found the article about it, https://cryptogeek.info/en/blog/coronavirus-reveals-cryptocurrencies-are-crisis-resistant, it says, that crypto is well resisted to the crisis, what do you think? Is that true?
I don't think you need anybody to tell you that this is not true looking at how the entire crypto market cap dump over $100 billion USD when the spread of this COVID-19 went viral. Currently, stocks, commodities, and cryptocurrencies are still underperforming due to the slowed economic growth in major countries. So yeah, this virus really has hit all markets and not only the crypto market.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: March 23, 2020, 04:55:47 PM
I doubt any project would be willing to offer such a huge amount of money for bounties these days. Marketers would rather prefer spending $100K on marketing platforms and other advertisement platforms such as Cointelegraph, Coindesk to showcase their project other than leaving it in the bounty hunters.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are your safe haven now? on: March 22, 2020, 10:36:24 PM
Initially, bitcoin had been the coin that i hold for long term but for about a year i decided to try some altcoins as well and it has been great all these while. I have been holding BNB, ETH and LINk for quite sometime now and i know these projects are going to come out great in the near future to increase my profits.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How About Bitcointalk raise Money in BTC to Donate on fight against Coronavirus on: March 22, 2020, 10:08:00 PM
This would be a great initiative on the part of the crypto community. Also, we can take advantage of this to increase the exposure of bitcoin and the whole blockchain technology because i am sure people would be asking what crypto is and how it came into existence. Also, these donations are going to help the people who are in need of funds to take care of themselves in times like these.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another price rejection incoming on: March 21, 2020, 02:11:08 PM
@OP, don't fall for such rumours because they are just to cause fear and panic among crypto traders to sell cheap but if you have been in this industry long enough you would definitely not give much attention to this. Whatever thing that you hear make sure you are never selling all your holdings and you only sell when you are in need of money or when  you feel appropriate to.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best time to fill the bag? on: March 21, 2020, 01:19:20 PM
Yes, this is the best time to fill your bags at a very cheaper price with some good coins that are on the market. i always love to go with the thumb rule in here that say: buy when the market is in huge fear and sell when everybody is confident to buy.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl altcoins or..? on: March 21, 2020, 12:57:16 PM
Sell those coins whose projects seem dying and have no clear direction looking at the updates from the team just to cut down your loss. On the other hand, it would be good to buy more and hold until the project gets the needed exposure and marketing. That will surely bring in good profits in the future. I am currently holding unto my ETH, DIVI, DGB, and BNB for a while. At least till i see the marketcap restored to $300 billion I ain't selling none!
