You guys ready for the big race of bitcoin ownership?
Who will win? El Salvador? Plebs? Blackrock? Russia? The Netherlands? Central African Republic? Ukraine?
They have waked up.
But they are not talking.
Why would you? At the poker table when you have the nuts...
Hueristic... help me here.
The smartest ones have realized they cant make paper out of it. That is deadly. The game has changed.
The dumb ones will still try ... and go broke to the smart ones.
Are you ready?
I don't think so. Me either really...
I want to add one thing to this hyperbullish thing I posted. I do NOT think blackrock is going to just buy and hold bitcoin, and obviously I do not trust them, as they seem to be a part of the weird corpo-communist world takeover that is invisible to most. But I also think they can't win. They CAN make things shitty in the meantime, though...

Yes.. You make a lot of good points. This is exactly what bitcoin was built for and surely, it is nice to see some BIGGER players coming to the table - and surely, your list is far from exhaustive, but it illustrates the points of quite disparate views and disparate approaches and even disparate resources. Sure, some of them could start to cooperate with one another, but they might not perceive it to be in their interest - but still we know that there are some who are creating alliances too.. and even within the alliances, they might not agree to the way forward to accumulate their "physical" cornz.. and even some of the players might end up either dominating the other or getting screwed by the weaker player...
We know also that some of them are going to be playing the "down before up" game (and speculate that they have it in the bag), but I am not going to concede that they are going to be successful in that.. even if we have BIGGER players in 2022 than we had in early 2016.. remember early 2016?.. so many of the then BIGGER players (relatively-speaking) seem to have been thinking that for sure they could keep king daddy below $500 on a nearly infinite timeline.. and we see how that played out for some of those cocky "down before UP" betters. hahahahaha We saw those kinds of "down before up" presumptions in this thread too (and other forums for bitcoin discussions).
My list is certainly not exhaustive. In fact, the African merchants? I left them off... Taiwanese wondering about the future? They are not on there... Germans realizing they are being fucked? Not on my list. Thing is everyone ends up on this list. Matter of time. Funny how the needy end up first. And the meek shall inherit the Earth.

Fuck you you shriveled up--- finished--- piece of shit. Oh, and congrats on all the success... you will be remembered as a minor player in the final chapter of debt slavery. Nice mark you made.

I cannot get the phrase "Whimsical Pants" out of my mind.

It's bigger than that. They left off Raspiblitz. Lightning is still a sleeper really... but there is no doubt is it growing, and that it works. The big commercial apps/nodes move a LOT of value around. The question will be how the little guys and the medium services start to really fill it out.

I was thinking maybe you could explain this to me... but it is a great interview segment...
Can't a dude just wear whimsical pants sometimes? https://youtu.be/QK8mJJJvaes

Yeah.. lighting is a failure. No way it can overcome all the issues it faces... No way enough nodes can get set up. No way enough channels ca.. Umm... Well...

The first fatal crash occurred in the early hours of July 7 in Riverside, California, when a Tesla Model Y on State Route 91 hit a motorcycle from behind, killing its rider. The second fatal motorcycle crash occurred on July 24, again at night, this time on I-15 outside Draper, Utah. In that case, a Tesla Model 3 was driving behind a motorcycle and hit it, killing the rider. https://arstechnica.com/cars/2022/08/tesla-faces-new-probes-into-motorbike-deaths-false-advertising/I don't understand how they allow these systems to operate when they are literally less safe than a drunk driver and they would not be able to pass a driving test in the first place. Totally agree. These thing should NOT be on the road before TONS of testing... crazy. That is two people who should not be dead, and Tesla should pay those families HUGE damages.

Can't wait. So I bought my wife a Coincards Gift with Monero recently... Man... it's hard when it keeps going up like this I really thing the "Bitcoin but private" thing is going to light up like a Cali wildfire. It will be interesting to see how Monero scales. I know there is a lot of hybrid Big Blocker ethos in Monero (which I am not a part of... SHOCKER!) and it will be interesting to see if it can remain highly decentralized as it moves into server class storage/connection territory. Good thing we are making the computation better and better, that is another scaling bottleneck.

BlackRock is partnering with Coinbase to increase the institutional adoption of bitcoin. It is not often that you live through the birth and scaling of a new multi-trillion dollar asset class. Apompliano
"Hurr durr let's turn Bitcorns into paper and fuck the whole thing up hurr durr" This is totally true. But there is this really weird game theory part that I wonder if they are not seeing. What happens when they make all their paper fakecorn and then people who have interests counter to theirs decides only to transact on the base layer, or even transparent federated layers? It could make the game stop thing look like the bunch of kids it was. Tough part is on the way we have to live through the nonsense.

BlackRock hops on bitcoin bandwagon with new Coinbase tie-up.After years of resisting, the world’s largest asset manager has finally taken the plunge into crypto in a substantial way. BlackRock, which oversees $10 trillion in assets, is partnering with publicly traded Coinbase to provide its institutional clients with access to cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin is the first digital asset being offered through the partnership, according to a blog post Coinbase, the most popular crypto exchange in the U.S., released on the matter today. BlackRock’s Aladdin investment management platform will offer connectivity to Coinbase Prime to offer crypto trading, custody, prime brokerage and reporting capabilities to shared clients.
“Common clients of Aladdin and Coinbase will be able to manage their bitcoin exposures alongside their public and private investments for a whole-portfolio view of risk,” BlackRock wrote in an announcement. Holy goodness. That either means we are the new rich elite, or that we are totally fucked. I am leaning towards fucked, but... (or should it read "but, fucked?")

In my honest opinion, Bitcoin Bottom is already in. And if it's not yet, then there will be so much blood bath. $30-$31k is a very critical spot to look at. That is the most depressing thing I have seen all week.
