Just my personal opinion, I really think it has to do with the name, pevpot. I think a lot more people would play if they knew it was a lottery ran by the moneypot/bust-a-bit crew. There are always a ton of players at bustabit... maybe they can start promoting it at bustabit? |

I've just come across this, it's looks really good. I will be doing some bitcoin website work myself soon so I'll give some feedback on how useful I find it.
Yes, coinableS made a great tutorial here. Think about it for a sec........ anybody with just a little coding skills and these guides can set up website with a payment processor..... and the best thing is, no banks are involved!! Yes it's really easy to start up your own webstore thanks to bitcoin. Previously having to use 3rd party payment processors was a pain plus they charged expensive fees. You can buy a domain and hosting and have a store up and running the same day, if needed. Bitcoin will rule the future of eCommerce for this one feature alone. |

I have one question - is there anyone can put my bitcoin adress and lose all my money from balance ? Can you add login+password authorization?
No one can access your coins except you, unless you give someone your private key. My site works just the same as all the other faucetbox faucets out there, no password required. The worst thing that could happen is if someone puts in your address you might earn some extra coins. You cannot lose coins with faucets. |

How do you plan to integrate bitcoin into a plain html game? Are you going to pay users for playing, or are you taking deposits and storing them?
Either way you'll need to know more than just HTML and CSS. If you don't want to pay for a dedicated web server and run bitcoind you should look into using an API blockchain, or block.io

Oh damn. I have 90000000 satoshi in my spare xapo account. I'd use this to give it away if there was a way for users to add funds as well. Seems only fair to allow deposits if you can allow gambling. If the game is fair allowing deposits would be fair. Just make gambling fair and encrypt it. Or just release it and trust users. Or sell it.
You missed the point, this is not gambling script, this is faucet game script. Nope. Didn't miss it at all. I looked at it as a point of not losing the 90 mill all at once, but lasting longer. Yes, but you cant deposit to faucet game, you can only gamble with free claims. You can't deposit into faucet games yet. Years ago you couldn't play video games online. You couldn't record HD video with a phone. You couldn't stream video over a TV.  I designed it without deposit functions on purpose. There are plenty of games you can play where you can deposit your BTC and gamble. |

Hey coinables, did you know i (and everyone else) can get +EV on your dice game by selecting certain parameters of the bet?
It doesn't do much harm though, since it only works on a very small scale (the +EV bug is due to a rounding error). I won't write it here, but you can PM me if you want to know what's wrong.
Excuse me for my ignorance. What is "EV"? +EV basically means the gambler has the odds in their favor. I believe I've seen the same bug, but it's only on the far outskirts bets. Like 3% change to win or 97% chances... possibly an error with the PHP math where I should be using bcmath instead. |

Been under attacks again and switched back to basic script with antibot links temporarily. I dont believe it is because of FunCaptcha or 100% referral commission only, thats why I want to try antibot links. Looks like those weird referral claims without faucet claim stopped already (this script needs user faucet claim to be clicked twice, but referral commission is paid on first click). Everything went back to normal after leaving funcaptcha and switching to AreYouAHuman, which is the new default antibot for this script.  |

Does it matter if I launch bitcoin core, vs bitcoind.exe since I put server=1 in my conf? I've tried launching both, they both do the same thing. I even receive the exact same error if I close my node down, so I'm clearly have an issue connecting. Bitcoind.exe doesn't do anything, it opens a command window, but there's no text or anything going on to confirm it's working... is that normal? |

I think I might have been targeted because I was paying 100% referral commission, which is hard to find in faucets. I have now reduced mine to 20%, and changed captchas so it won't be worth it for them anymore.

Are you sure its not a flaw in the gambling? Yea I checked all the payouts, no large cashouts. They aren't playing at all actually, just collecting the default 300 satoshis and cashout immediately. |

Yea I saw that too... What is interesting is that every single account this person "referred" is also a multisig address. Typically I only see a few multisig addresses here and there, then all of a sudden every single person is "referred" by this guy and every single one also has a multisig address. No coincidence. So he is using multiple addresses it seems, are the ips the same, if not he is very clever on changing it. I could be wrong in my assumption though. Nope, the script I wrote only allows unique IP's, so it has to be a bot that changes it's IP and address for each claim thus racking up his balance in referral earnings from his fake bot referrals. |
