241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Man bet his life savings on 1 spin of Roulette on: March 13, 2024, 05:36:11 AM
@taufik123. It is not very risky with 50/50 odds, however, the big risk for him is he used all of his money on 1 bet. If he bet on red and the roullette ball went on black, it will be a very shameful walk to the casino's exit door hehehehehe.

This story reminds me of the movie Indecent Proposal where the husband and the wife bet all of their money in the casino. They lose the money and the wife was forced to become the girlfriend of an old millionaire with the husband's permission. The husband was paid $1 million dollars and he was very thankful for this.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Michael Saylor and MicroStrategy sell BTC? on: March 13, 2024, 04:39:54 AM
On Michael Sailor Moon, I disagree. I speculate that it is not only profit for him. He is certainly doing this for his legacy and also why would he sell bitcoin if this is going to become something similar to gold? Uncle Larry and Aunt Cathie has been buying much of the bitcoin cousin Barry has been dumping.
Michael Saylor invested his money to Bitcoin for himself but here we are more talking about investment of MicroStrategy and Michael is their brand ambassador in Bitcoin market and communities.

Many people confuse between Michael Saylor and MicroStrategy investments in Bitcoin. Here is a portfolio tracker of MicroStrategy.

There was a news article that mentioned Blackrock has presently more bitcoin than Microstrategy. This is only the beginning of this race who creates a legacy. Will it be Michael Sailor Moon or the new mayor of bitcoin Larry Fink

Source https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2024/03/10/blackrocks-spot-etf-nears-200k-bitcoin-passing-michael-saylors-microstrategy/
In fact MicroStrategy bought 12,000 bitcoins on 11 March and reclaim their leading position from BlackRock.

I cannot argue about the most updated numbers and who presently has the higher number of bitcoin in their treasury. However, similar to what I have already mentioned, this is a race on who will be the king of bitcoin. Will it be the new mayor of bitcoin Larry Fink or will it be Michael Sailor Moon? I reckon Satoshi should send $1 of bitcoin to tell everyone that he still has control over his 1 million bitcoin wallet heehhe. Satoshi the real king who can dump 1 million coins to $10k.
243  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Uncle Gary and the SEC will never stop? Cease and desist against Shapeshift on: March 13, 2024, 03:49:41 AM
This is nothing but pure harassment already. SEC is digging into the past just to harass and make money from companies. It's good, however, that ShapeShift will settle this with a relatively small fine.

But I can't see the logic in issuing a cease-and-desist order against a company that has already left and ceased operating years ago. It seems moot to me. Why should you order a company to stop offering its services when it has already done it years prior? It seems pointless.

I very much agree on your pure harassment argument. Also, why is uncle Gary doing this? Does he not know that he will not be the SEC chairman on 2026? Does he also not know that these companies, exchanges and these other financial services in the cryptospace are what hires people that have retires from government service? This is very headshaking behavior from him unless he invested much of his money in Algorand which dumped and he sold in panic with -80% loss henehehee.

This is uncle Gary in class and promoting Algorand hehehehehehee.

244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 13, 2024, 02:55:40 AM
Rumors are circulating about Crawford facing Eubank Jr but I am not buying it. I am not sure what Crawford gets fighting Eubank Jr. and as mentioned by @Kemarit, both are working under Bomac. Or maybe both fighters have issues in the gym that they want to fight each other. But still, Crawford gets nothing fighting Eubank Jr unless he can dictate a catchweight.

Crawford's years are really wasted. Inoue if he wins in his next defense or if Usyk wins against Fury deserve to replace Crawford as the new pound for pound.

Yeah, I think that Crawford is still looking a dance partner for this year, no names have surface except, Canelo and then Spence for a rematch. So I'm also not buying him and Eubank Jr either in US or UK, there is no money in that fight.

I think Inoue's resume for his year might surpassed Crawford for the pound for pound. Specially if Inoue destroys Nery and dispatches him with another knockout reel. Hopefully though Crawford will still have a fight at least this year so that he won't have a ring rust on not making any money for year 2024.

He should fight Boots Ennis, I reckon unless he is doing a tactic similar to Canelo and avoid the best fighter in his division hehehe. I do not know the story, however, the IBF gave the welterweight championship to Boots Ennis after Bud Crawford fought Spence.

Bud should get his belt and unify the welterweight division again. But if he does not do this, the boxing promoters should let him fight for the vacant WBC and IBF super welterweight championships vs. Tim Tszyu who is WBO super welterweight champion.

Agreed! However, on the present situation, a 3 satoshi fee that you paid will take many years before this will be confirmed hehehehee. In any case, I increased the fee to be included on the next block. Also, thank you and see you next year hehehe.

@Rikafip. You were right on Anatomy of the fall for best original screenplay, I was very much in love with the Holdovers.

Dune 2 will be next year's best director, best picture and best adapted screenplay winners!
246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price history, ATHs and bottoms. on: March 12, 2024, 03:52:52 AM
I reckon presently that when the bearish people have been declaring that they are bullish and some of them declaring that they were bullish before everyone began to be bullish, we should certainly begin to be careful. There will be strange things that will start happening where everything will begin speculating more and buy on leverage more. These late pumpers will be the exit liquidity of the whales.

Also, other strange occurrences will be similar to this. If someone pays to play Michael Sailor Moon's there is no second best speech in the Las Vegas sphere, this might be the peak of bitcoin heheheh.

If the community around Solana memecoin dogwifhat ( WIF +2.50% ) gets its way, a picture of a Shiba Inu in a hat will soon grace the Las Vegas skyline for a week.

That's because a new initiative, unsurprisingly titled "sphere wif hat," seeks to raise $650,000 for one week of advertising the memecoin on Sphere, Las Vegas's recently-launched LED-outfitted spherical event venue.

247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines to launch non-blockchain CBDC in two years on: March 12, 2024, 02:15:33 AM
@franky1. I was speculating on what they might do. These centralized government agents who are controlled by the rulers who put these people in government in power. CBDC might be Mayer Amschel Rothschild's dream on controlling a country's money to control everything. In the developed countries, the people are more open to express themselves against CBDC, however, in 3rd world countries I reckon the people are more manipulated easily to follow what the government tells them. This might be why CBDCs are being tested beginning in 3rd world countries.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Michael Saylor and MicroStrategy sell BTC? on: March 12, 2024, 01:56:32 AM
Sooner or later Michael Saylor or MicroStrategy would sell its bitcoin because, in the end, the Company wants a piece of the profit tho I believe both Michael Saylor the company MicroStrategy gonna sell all of it, Maybe they gonna sell like a quarter or even a half of it but not all of it.

It's all for profit, so if they feel it's not enough, they won't sell it all, but if they need money or feel it's profitable enough, there's no reason not to sell it all. I don't rule out the possibility that they will sell out of bitcoin during the next bull season when bitcoin peaks and that will probably be the cause of another bear market. And then, they continue to buy back bitcoin during bear season at lower prices.

Don't be too naive to believe that they will never sell all their bitcoins, they are large organizations and have enough potential to manipulate the market more than we think.

On Michael Sailor Moon, I disagree. I speculate that it is not only profit for him. He is certainly doing this for his legacy and also why would he sell bitcoin if this is going to become something similar to gold? This might be very much similar to how international pharmaceutical companies use 3rd world countries as their testbed for new drugs being developed before they declare them as safe for the people of first world countries. This is not because these pharmaceutical companies think that the lives of people in 3rd world countries are lower. This might be because the rules and regulations in many 3rd world countries are not strict enough and it is easier for them release new untested medicines commercially.

The Oscar awards presentations for this year of 2024 has finished.

@Rikafip. It appears I was very much mistaken. Oppenheimer won all of the awards on the major categories where they were nominated. Best picture and best director go to go to Christopher Nolan and best actor goes to Cilian Murphy hehe.

251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: March 11, 2024, 01:38:10 AM
As expected, the lunatics at the Republican National Convention all dropped out one by one, with most endorsing Trump.

Sometimes I don't understand what runs through these people's minds.

I'd still advise betting against Trump winning the election. In case you do want him to win, well, think of it like this - if he wins, you get what you want, and if he loses, you earn some money from it Smiley

An election is not about who is the best person to lead a country and the people. Elections are very much similar to beauty pageants and popularity contests where personalities are more important than what good a person has done for his country.

Also, we can criticize these lunatics in the Republican National Convention for being stupid, however, the most stupid people in the world are the people who voted for them to be in power. If there is anyone that should be blamed, it is the voters.

I had a similar opinion before, however, it presently appears that he wants to create his legacy more than profit. I reckon that under his leadership over Microstrategy's bitcoin fund, there might be no selling of all of the bitcoin in their treasury. I speculate that he also wants to be someone who is written in investment history books as a financial genius. This also implies that we will hear more of his there is no second best speeches hehehehee.

The world’s most famous Bitcoin billionaire says the new Bitcoin ETFs from BlackRock and Fidelity have proven more successful than even he had imagined.

"We thought that maybe Bitcoin was a competitor to gold, but it has actually run up the leaderboard, and now it’s starting to nip at the heels of the S&P 500 Index ETFs,” MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor said during an interview at the Madeira Bitcoin conference.

Saylor said gold ETFs, which remain the largest commodity ETFs in the United States, will be surpassed by their Bitcoin counterparts in “not too long a time.”

@Kemarit. His message on social media only appears that Chris Eubanks has a Christmas wish hehehe. I reckon that he wants to fight someone with a big name, for a big purse before he can announce his  retirement. However, if he is not a champion, we can be quite certain that this would not be a very attractive offer for Bud Crawford. Chris Eubanks cannot offer money, cannot offer a championship, cannot offer a victory over a big name.

Also, on a rematch for Crawford and Spence, I disagree. I reckon after what we have witnessed from Spence, the fans do want a rematch. They want Bud Crawford vs. Boots Ennis!

@zasad@. On CZ's political connections, if he has them, they are not in America. It was Sam Bankman Fried who had the connections with the Democrats because of his donations and her mother who is rumored to be very close to Hillary Clinton.

Also, before the dump of FTT by CZ, Sam was also jeering CZ on social media because he did not any political connections in America. This was when Sam was invited in congress to speak about regulations and the cryptospace. It was also during this time when Sam was bad mouthing CZ in front of the regulators and other government officials.

The Justice Department was investigating his crypto exchange, Binance, for possible money laundering. And he suspected that Sam Bankman-Fried, the cofounder of another crypto exchange, FTX, had been spreading rumors about Binance with US regulators and the media.

“It’s just not a smart thing to do, to bad-mouth anybody. Especially a bigger competitor,” CZ told me recently.

255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 09, 2024, 08:28:00 AM
Never in a second thought Ngannou was going to be defeated in such a kindergarten manner by Anthony Joshua, even though i never really gave it to Joshua I had the conviction that peradventure he won he was going to feel it like he hit a rock for sure after the fight but the show was the opposite.

I had to repeated watch that Joshua's punch that knocked Ngannou off his feet as I was shock myself for someone that never expected things to go this way. I think Joshua seized the day and proved a better boxer dispelling all misgiving comparison  among fans. At least for now congrats champ...

I very much agree. I reckon that I should not be in shock on this , however, it appears that I have overestimated Francis Ngannou but I might also have more underestimation on the improvement of Anthony Joshua with his new boxing coach.

I was very excited on this Rocky Balboa storyline and this mistake made my brain ignore reality. I am ashamed for this. Francis should also return to MMA where he can win or he might declare his retirement hehehe.

On Anthony Joshua, who is speculated to be his next opponent? I want this to be Mike Tyson Fury. I wish the Arab royal family will put much investment on this fight which will certainly force Fury and Joshua to agree hehe.
256  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: March 09, 2024, 07:25:33 AM
Comedy news of the month!

It appears that Sam Bankman Fried is not only using sardines as currency in prison, he has also begun giving financial advice to prison guards hehehehe. I reckon on 2025 he might be the first CEO to create a startup in prison and his angel investors are the gangs and the guards.

--snip--

That news also mention the lawyer attempt to reduce his prison term from up to 110 years to only 5-6 years. It turns out the lawyer use autism as excuse (just like what CSW did) for appeal.

In a high-profile case that has garnered considerable attention, Sam Bankman-Fried, the disgraced CEO of the now-bankrupt FTX crypto exchange, is seeking a lighter sentence, citing his autism spectrum disorder.

Bankman-Fried’s lawyers argue that his condition makes him “uniquely vulnerable” in a prison environment and should result in a reduced sentence of five to six years instead of the maximum 110-year term recommended by sentencing guidelines.

Source: https://bitcoinist.com/sam-bankman-fried-cites-autism-disorder/.

Similar to what I have speculated before and what was implied by some of these news articles, it would not be shocking if Sam is sentenced on a much shorter time in prison or if he is pardoned after a short time in prison. There might be 2 strategies for Barbara Fried. Use her connections with the Democrats to help her son or if a Republican becomes a president on November, create a deal with the Democrats' political enemies to help her son.

This might be headshaking for all of you, however, this is a mother who will do everything to help her son from spending all of his life in prison. In any case, if Sam is freed and creates another exchange, I will deposit some coins and show everyone the screenshot hehehehehee.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 08, 2024, 04:57:15 AM
No doubt that among boxers AJ is more popular than Ngannou Cheesy But in general, for people who are just spectators, give them google and they would found that Ngannou is way better than AJ, because he knockout people cold.

Similar to what I have argued before, this certainly is because of Francis Ngannou's shocking performance against Tyson Fury who is a big name in boxing. Before this, no one has heard of Francis Ngannou's name or has cared for him being a champion in MMA. Also, another reason for this support might be because Ngannou is the underdog for this fight hehehe. The supporters also like Ngannou's story about being a poor child working in the sandmines where he developed a very strong warrior's body hehehe.
Francis Ngannou story can be considered a Rocky story and it will eventually happen if he beats Joshua, some people are still underestimating Ngannou just because he only has one fight but it is different if you win against a regular heavyweight and loses but scores a knockdown against a boxer considered to be a lineal and one of the generations greatest boxer, I have seen the face-off and both fighters are very cordial, both fighters did not engage in any thrash talks and but I don't want to make a mistake that it's a friendly match I expect both fighters to go to for a knock out as this is a very important fight for both fighters, this is a survival fight for both fighters.

I very much agree on this Rocky Balboa storyline. This is also a very good distraction for the people by making them cheer for the underdog and make them dream that a victory for Francis Ngannou is also their victory. The Arab king has done a very good job by creating live action show for everyone hehehehe.

However, will Ngannou make the Rocky storyline a certainty or will the supporters be disappointed again? We cannot certainly know the outcome but we are very much certain that the small and fat Andy Ruiz knocked out Joshua heheh. What would happen if Ngannou connects with a superman punch?
258  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Tether Cryptocurrency Becoming ‘Preferred Choice’ Among Money Launderers on: March 08, 2024, 03:36:16 AM
@zasad@. Agreed! The dirty laundry also from the side of the banking system in America and how the American government only gave them a slap on the wrist. I speculate that it was only CZ that wanted to fight the case under American jurisdiction, however, his team might have expressed against this decision to save Binance and the cryptospace from another dump. This meme is real hehehehe.

A congressional investigation into the 2016 U.S. presidential election has unearthed evidence that major banks processed $2 trillion in transactions despite suspecting they were connected to illegal activity.

So-called suspicious activity reports, filed by banks with government regulators, indicate the banks were concerned the transactions would help suspected terrorists, drug dealers, corrupt foreign officials and other bad actors move trillions of dollars around the world, as well as perpetuate investment frauds. The private reports, which covered 1999 through 2017, were obtained by BuzzFeed News and shared with the nonprofit International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.

In its report, BuzzFeed said the documents show "how the giants of Western banking move trillions of dollars in suspicious transactions, enriching themselves and their shareholders while facilitating the work of terrorists, kleptocrats and drug kingpins."

Why are the people responsible not in jail like CZ? No political connections in America.

In any case, I reckon if Sam supported CZ with his political connections, CZ would not have caused the liquidity problem within FTX because of CZ's dump of all FTT in Binance's treasury.

I am only assuming that FTX's problem was only a liquidity problem because the creditors of FTX will be paid 100% of their money according to some articles.

Few days left for the fight guys, better get your popcorns and beverages ready on time.
If Ngannou manages to win in dominant fashion I expect to see boxing world changed forever, maybe they will start to respect MMA fighters a lot more.
I watched the faceoff and Ngannou looked cooler to me, but better watch press conference and judge for yourself: https://youtu.be/VJd7ey52ZaY

Odds on Sportsbet are very juicy on Ngannou, but I dont think this fight is going long distance:

Are you predicting that Ngannou will knockout Joshua? I reckon Anthony Joshua cannot knockout Ngannou heheheheeh.

@TopTort777. I disagree, Anthony Joshua is also very famous and more famous for boxing fans. This support is certainly because of Francis Ngannou's very shocking performance vs. Tyson Fury. These many fans have supported and predicted that Fury will win very quickly, however, we have witnessed something very different. Tyson Fury was the winner but it was considered an upset for the fans of Fury. Presently it appears that Ngannou is the underdog story in boxing where the many will easily support.
