241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best safe cloud mining site on: March 03, 2024, 06:28:43 PM
Maybe from the bots and that's why they're always sold as they're the quickest one to purchase them.
Or maybe Binance thing Cloud mining is not a thing again and not make binance profit in the long run
Probably.

I agree, still best to accumulate and avoid your interest with these cloud mining site. And with your desire to find one, you might even fall for a trap.
Scam sites is never going to end so stay safe everyone
True, they are there to exist and no matter how many times they've been figured out and exposed. They're like mushrooms that they should grow everywhere and will come out eventually.

Having an equipment or ASIC is the real thing in mining and that requires huge capital.

I know right today bitcoin miner had ton of of equipment and most of the miner is a company like genesis mining or Digital Group simply if we want to make profit from mining we need a huge capital
There are individuals too that have been mining from their homes. It's just the matter of having the capital and willingness to do. If it's doable in their area,  it's probably because they have cheaper electricity.
242  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seeds Bitcoin on: March 02, 2024, 08:08:08 PM
For starters it is normal to lose the seeds or recovery phrases but most of these wallets don't have any balance. I've got my own personal experience with that but with MEW and IIRC, there's a small amount that I wasn't able to retrieve anymore from them.

But as we stay here, we are learning every single day and once we create another one. We take note of what's with the warning about writing it because every wallet where we generate it, there's always the reminder that if we lose it, then we lose that wallet forever.

Little mistakes are fine but if you go big with losing it and you can no longer find it upon having some balances there, it is more hurtful if it's got Bitcoin.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 02, 2024, 10:04:46 AM
I didn't noticed that and the games are almost over, the last one that is in-game right now is 1.win and Aurora. I see that this is an online type of tournament. I thought that it's another LAN and those that have participated the past tournaments were also part of this.

I'd also avoid these BO2 games, they're terrible. You'll never know if these players are gonna make some experiments or they get serious with it. But I think the ones that are serious during this time can't even make it a whole 2-0 games although some already did.

It's just hard to comprehend these bo2 games.

Yes, it's only a online tournament. But it's good for to the teams that participated Games of the Future in Kazan, especially Xtreme Gaming who won the tournament but with only 1 day window for this DreamLeague.

Anyways, I was also planning to not bet on the BO2 games because I am bad at it over the years. I was still tempted to bet on Shopify Rebellion taking map 1 against Aurora but when it lost I am done with it. Maybe I'll try to look for the top teams losing the first map and then bet on the second map although odds could be low.
Well, the games now are no longer in a BO2 series and that's why this is now one of the good times to start betting for the matches that you pick for your favorite teams.

Meanwhile, MinD_ContRoL was kicked out of Tundra after issues with MoonMeander and Zai are becoming irreconcilable. I don't know what happens since Tundra is playing against Secret and Liquid later.
Yeah, he got kicked during the tournament and it's funny how this organization that used to be reputable before but not anymore today can take that.

As the GS2 is in for this DreamLeague, many were satisfied that they got out of the tournament early.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proven many times holders won't regret on: March 02, 2024, 08:09:47 AM
The same thing will happen when the next peak is in, many are going to buy at the top and will have to hold again for a certain period of time if they miss the entire run. But I think time after time, the market is getting better and as exact as Bitcoin, time of recovery is becoming lesser yet quicker.

It's true that Bitcoin don't disappoint the holders. I myself have been holding for so long and never did I have any single moment that I held but there were times that I've sold then I regret. And that's for sure the experience of the majority when we want to hold some more.

If you have faith and believe in Bitcoin, you'll not panic, you'll hold and you'll be patient at most times because this is the greatest asset we ever had on this era that we live on.
245  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase Support on: March 01, 2024, 04:18:03 PM
The glitch was reported by bunch of its users. Several articles have published the glitch quickly. Honestly, this problem isn't new.

The outage is mostly common done by the surge of their users as well and it's made look ordinary for seasons like this. They should have solved and addressed this issue long ago.

We're likely to see more of this once Bitcoin surges more. Like there will be halt in transactions and the main reason is the server of these platforms and exchanges can no longer carry the weight the volume of their users.

I mean obviously this is caused by a surge of users buying Bitcoin. In other words, "buying high and selling low"  Grin

Seriously though, why don't more people just buy Bitcoin at any price, especially on an average day or even a day when Bitcoin is performing badly. They only seem to remember it after the rally is completed and there is no more money to gain. I don't think we're going to see a price much higher than $62K before it dips again.
It's more of a belief that they won't invest unless something is happening to Bitcoin. And it's possible that there were a lot of people from that batch that have bought at the peak on 2021 and just probably held, maybe a very few percentage.

It happens every cycle, they don't buy during the bear market and they are not excited. But when the bull run comes, you ask it and they'd come for it.

Well, typical FOMOing.
246  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitRoul.com , Roulette without zero ,earn 100 USD iif you break the Fairness on: March 01, 2024, 03:02:57 AM
I just stumbled on this roulette as it looks fun to look at. So if the challenge is done by someone, he'd win $100 and at first thought of mine if it is really breakable and designed to at least be broken by certain amount player? Reading the thread, cmiiw, there have been 3 winners already.
I believe there were more winners in the past when it originally launched. The challenge itself isn't particularly difficult to complete as long as you have a lot of luck on your side.
Okay, thanks.

And apart from that, you've got a bounty of $100 whoever finds some flaw on your roulette. Sounds good but if it's with these bugs and flaws, I'd increase the bounty because someone who might find a backdoor or hole might abuse that for more instead of reporting that with that amount of reward, just saying.
This is a small site with a small budget which is why I don't think op would increase the amount for the bounty unless absolutely necessary.
Yeah, he's starting small but I was wrong when I've termed it as bugs and not flaws.

To be clear : There is a bounty of 100 USD if you find a flaw on the Provably Fair method . (and not on the bugs of the site ) .

This provably fair is the most evoluted one you can find , you must use the email service to have it at its best .

So , Ok I know , 100 USD could be considered as low but lets start at this level
Right, thanks I was corrected by you as flaws and bugs are different. But if someday your casino grows and you've got enough budget, I know that you'll eventually to increase it for the sake of the experience and trust of your customers.

Another thing, whoever you are Andrej - congratulations!

248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Detrimental Impact of Sports Betting on Genuine Sports Coverage on: February 29, 2024, 07:15:09 AM
The connection that the sports has got to gambling was sink in to everyone's mind and that's why with these talks, whenever you see games, the first thing to think about is what might be the odds.

I think that these organizations need to be careful as there are too many children idolizing these players, clubs/teams and sports.

They should have a section that's dedicated only for the sports discussion on how the game went or will be. Because these kids might be exposed to gambling at a young age instead of dreaming of how to be one of their idols when they grow up.

Makes sense. When sports always bring up gambling, it makes people especially kids think that betting is a big part of enjoying the game. We might need a separate section in these shows just for talking about the sport without all the betting stuff. That way, kids can focus on the game and dream about being like their favorite players, instead of getting into gambling thoughts too early
If the leagues and organizations that are part of these sporting events are going to take care of their legacy, they have to make sure that they should think of the welfare of their younger audiences and fans. These kids are looking up to their idols but it's also pure business on them when they get sponsored by the casinos.

But on this internet age, even the young ones can gather access to the websites and pages that are only for adults.

I think one cannot separate gambling ads and sports discussion during a live podcast, it is that if one is to involve gambling in the discussion, one should limit the audience to the adult only entrants,
Yeah, maybe it's not possible but might be with the help of AI like filtering these ads and have that dedicated channel podcast that are fine for the kids. I don't know if that's possible but with technology nowadays, maybe there's a way.

251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Michael Saylor and MicroStrategy sell BTC? on: February 28, 2024, 10:40:36 PM
Whether he's going to sell $MSTR shares or actual Bitcoin, don't be gullible with his words and also with other known people that owns a company.

They'd come to an unknown time selling their stash for their own benefit. All of them have their reasons why they've been buying and just as us, they're there to make profit.

So, if he said that he's never going to buy, he's got that laser eyes and diamond hands. Possible that he's saying is true but I don't buy that, he's also like us that would like to have some profits.

But from the context of what Bitcoin is evolving to be, and from an investment perspective, Michael Saylor and definitely many other insitutions - financial or government - should HODL Bitcoin in their treasury as a fall-back/back-up, no? Cool

There's another asset that many institutions truly like to HODL for that purpose. It's called Gold. Saylor's HODL-motive, Gold-like investment strategy for Bitcoin is nothing new. MicroStrategy might sell some Bitcoin, but it will always HODL Bitcoin. The cat is out of the bag ser.
While technically that's true that he's got to hold it for and he's one of the guys with their companies, financial institutions that has shown interest.

But for the sake of not being gullible, they'd really going to sell some in the future and that will surely going to affect the market once they do it.

All companies has there yearly or annual revenue report which means the board need breeding about where and how money is going and coming. He might be the CEO of the company but with obligations to let people know there profits and there share and even with this, there will be some faction in that company that wouldn't like this buying of bitcoin, Michael Saylor tellimg us he is not going to sell and continue to buy and then went ahead to validate that statement with 300k think people are that dumb, trust me may whales are familiar with his game, they will sell and live him be until SEC will come knocking on his door for doing one or two things that is against the descipline of financial system.

Who doesn't like profit, tell me. I might believe if it's coming from Bitcoin company but not from a software company that is profit base and not a non government organization, he really think people really care about his position in Bitcoin.
I agree.

He has to hold for the company and with his clients but the time of selling will come. It may not be as a whole for the $MSTR but there definitely going to be some huge profit taking that's about to come and they won't want to miss this cycle's moment.

254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao II on: February 27, 2024, 09:50:28 AM
There are confusions as to whether this exhibition fight is going to happen or not.
It's been announced long before the actual date and they've got their own commitments so it's truly hard to say if this is going to happen or not. With that, it's always been Floyd setting the condition about their share and I think that MP has been charged with millions for just saying his name as it violates the contract.

I am not sure with that but that's what I've read somewhere or it's just a bluff.

At first this was just a rumor but then I read some news that Pacquiao actually revealed that a negotiation is happening away from the media for this fight. But then Mayweather came out all of a sudden accusing the Pacquiao camp of revealing what was agreed in the contract to be kept secret until it is officially announced. So now it seems the negotiations are falling apart. We will hear in the coming days whether this will push through or not.
I think this was also part of the violation where MP has been charged with a lot of money. But, it's them that have to talk about it and they know that whether they fight or not, they'll still be part of the talks of the fans.

If it is for short term, think of it as something that many are worth it at this time because we are entering the bull season.

And with the miners going into Kaspa after ETHs changing of protocol and algorithm, it makes sense to see that it is moving up.

I think that its growth is not that too quick at all and it goes by the natural way since the last time when it has been seen by many folks who are looking to mine a new altcoin that goes by their needs.
257  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Microstrategy’s X account gets hacked, $400k stolen through phishing scam on: February 26, 2024, 07:38:08 AM
Yeah, several articles have published this incident and aside from cointelegraph. Here's with BNN Bloomberg.

Bitcoin-Holder MicroStrategy’s X Account Hacked: Security Firm

I remember it when the prominent people's Twitter account back then were hacked by a teenager. A lot have been victimized by their greed and not verifying first if the posted thing is for real or not even if the account is from a verified and official person.
258  Economy / Economics / Re: World fight over resources don't live in country where is a lot natural resource on: February 26, 2024, 05:36:34 AM
Since the old ages, this is what exactly is happening. Taking over territories for the resources that country has. But why will you discourage people living there if that's the place they can live?

Not everyone can easily adapt to new challenges and changes where they are going to live next. That's why even if there are places that are in poverty but has natural resources, they choose to stay there and live quietly and peacefully.

The world is vast and not every place that has these natural resources will be taken over by someone or some countries.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best safe cloud mining site on: February 25, 2024, 11:34:55 PM
This is what you mean: https://pool.binance.com/en/cloud

I've just checked it and it's always sold out. And it's the same with the other cloud mining if ever there's a legit one. The rest, they're all fake and likely scams.
Much better to buy Bitcoin and DCA with it. But there are folks that think that this is passive and not going to give them much profit, they're wrong if that's what they think.

It's simple yet the most profitable by just doing nothing.

Yeah I don't know it always sold out maybe they they didn't have enough machine or the ASIC manufacturer had a huge backlog
Maybe from the bots and that's why they're always sold as they're the quickest one to purchase them.

But Yes like I have said earlier that nowadays it worth to buy bitcoin with dollar cost averaging or make scalping while the market is at the bull market like this rather than buy asic miner or invest in cloud mining site.
I agree, still best to accumulate and avoid your interest with these cloud mining site. And with your desire to find one, you might even fall for a trap.

beside that mining nowadays is hard for home miner like us if you want make a huge profitable we need a mining farm
Having an equipment or ASIC is the real thing in mining and that requires huge capital.
