241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you seen gambling advertisements on TV? Opinion. on: February 24, 2024, 02:54:03 AM
Gambling ads is a usual case in my country. it is all over the internet or social media like Facebook, WhatsApp and also some few mobile app on mobile devices always show ads in almost all the app on mobile phone. There for  it is important to note that there is a chance that your kids might watch it.

In social media, you will only see gambling related content if you search or follow one of them since you will be automatically target by social media AI due to your interest for such content. I believe there’s a settings to avoid getting any post related to gambling once you turn it off.

Also the topic is all about gambling ads on TV and not social media. TV is different since you can’t control the ads for your children sake since it’s already predetermined for the day based on schedule. But this kind of ads usually available on sports games which is very easy to spot if you are a parents.

244  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coping with expectations on: February 23, 2024, 04:16:18 PM
How then do I mange the expectation of people on me such that i don't get into depression when I'm  unable to meet up with it.?

It's almost like everyone knows you're going to succeed but don't even care about what you're passing through while you're striving to make them proud.

You shouldn’t live base on expectations of other people because you will just feel pressured on your life choices most importantly when you experience failure which you will not bothered if you are free to do whatever you want.

You should remember that the majority of top rich people doesn’t do well on university but they manage to climb the wealth due to their passion. Sometimes people are not good on study because their skills is for actual work. You should find your passion and don’t live on someone expectation.

You should watch this Steve Jobs speech to Stanford because it tackles specifically to your situation. I hope it helped you to boost your confidence.

245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: February 23, 2024, 04:08:32 PM
Its more better sometimes to let go than chasing after losses, we are instead going to keep on falling for the same mistakes over time, we are to gamble and never feels bad on what it could have caused us financially because it's not a means of making money, instead we needed that money to be able to enjoy gambling, we should deal with our addiction while it's still at the earlier stage than when things already got out of hands.

Chasing loses is not always bad. I said this because there’s a time that the reason that you gamble for that day is to chase lose but you end up on profit due to luck for that day which you can’t win if you didn’t play. This is only advisable for those user that only play using small amount of money or any amount that they can afford to lose.

I believe most gambler here seek chasing loss or profit when gambling because that challenges gives real fun on gambling. It serves as purpose or goal on why people gambling and at the same time provides entertainment on the process of playing.
Do you really believe that pursuing losses makes gambling "real fun"?You seem to be associating enjoyment with the excitement of maybe making up lost ground, but what about the tension, the worry, the risk of addiction? What fun is that going to be?

Let's speak honestly. The goal and difficulty you state? They are smoke, mirrors, and illusions put in place to keep you guessing and hoping. However, hope is not a tactic. A wise gambler would know this. They play with strategies, not feelings, and they set boundaries. They know that gambling is a kind of amusement that comes with a price, and it should never be about chasing anything. And the value of your financial and mental well-being should never be more than that expense

Are you really gambling personally or you are just talking using textbook knowledge about gambling? Because you will understand what I’m talking about fun on thrill and risk if you are really playing personally. But if you are just posting using gambling knowledge that you can read online then it will be hard for you to complete the fun I’m talking.

I’m not telling that we should chase our loses but I’m just implying that there’s a fun on doing assuming that you are not using money that you can’t afford to lose. What do you think about gambling? Always win? There’s always a time that you will encounter tons of losses and the joy you will get when you recover from it is greater than winning on few bets. Simply you will never appreciate the joy of winning if you didn’t appreciate the sorrow of losing.

249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun and not a way of making money on: February 22, 2024, 03:35:47 PM
As in the title made by OP, that is true because I have played gambling in the casino several times just for fun, and it doesn't matter to me even if I lose because my goal is really just to have fun or just pass the time. Although sometimes, even though my motive is just like that, there is also a chance that I will also experience a win.

Gambling for fun doesn’t mean you will lose always. It seems that you frequently lose on your gambling which means that having on a casino cost you a lot but I understand it since I can still be happy even if I lose on gambling sometimes. It’s really more fun if you frequently win rather than losing because there’s always part of you that will cling to that lose money.

Quote
That's why my winnings always range from around $20 to $50. I get them in slot games and Baccarat when I'm lucky, but I really just want to have fun, and when I win like that, I stop.

Lucky 9 is a popular version of Bacarrat in my country which I really like because you will have an option to hit or stand for your own cards unlike the traditional bacarrat which you will just choose between player and dealer to bet.
       -   Moved on nalang kasi tapos na eh, learn a lesson ganun lang.

252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick profit is the only reason why we invest in Altcoins on: February 19, 2024, 10:22:18 AM
If you think there is any other reasons that makes investors put their money in altcoins feel free to share. I would love to know.

Aside for quick profit I think the gaining potential is the other main reason why people keep investing on altcoin despite volatility. Every crypto trader and investors always dream to experience same profitability of Bitcoin investment during early days that’s why many keep looking for that gem coin that can good that kind of profit opportunity even if the project is high risk.

Therefore it’s not about quick profit rather due to profit potential it can possibly give once the project become discovered which we already witnessed that tons of them become successful like BNB, ETH, Doge and many more that started from almost zero price.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / What game will you choose for one shot big bet? on: February 19, 2024, 10:16:15 AM
Hypothetically, if you are down with 90% of your bankroll and you want to recover all your losses using your 10% bankroll with one shot bet. What do you think  is the most logical game to do this kind of bet that will give you a x10 bet on one try?

This is hypothetical question which means answering a reasoning like you should save the money, stop gambling and etc. is not allowed because this is not real. The intention of the thread is determine what type of gambling game typically being chosen by players as last resort when they are losing badly.

Answer with specific game and explain why.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make use of what you disliked because you can't stay away from it. on: February 19, 2024, 07:06:29 AM
You've already got your money and more already so why the need to block the account? You never know, you might want to check them out again someday, that's a likely scenario, but this happened to me on an online game, I told myself that I would quit that game but then the game made some announcements that have shown up in my timeline from time to time and then I got curious and wanted to check it and now I'm hooked on that game again. I admire your staunch discipline though, if you don't like the games they offer and the services that they have, you just quit, some people can't do that, they're too afraid to voice out their choice and instead just go on and be miserable by continuing to play there even though they don't want to anymore.

Because he didn’t like the casino while there’s always a temptation to keep coming back especially if he has no many choice available. I encounter this scenario before using local online casino that offers very poor service and games but I don’t have a choice since they are the only one accepting payment method that I preferred. I keep coming back on that casino due to convenience it can provide to me using my preferred payment method.

I think this is one of the scenario which user doesn’t want to remain his account open if he didn’t like the service so that he will not come back if ever he feels the desire to gamble.
255  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Aside from crypto ano pa pinagkakaabalahan nyo? (2) on: February 19, 2024, 06:44:22 AM

Or may balak kapa na magdiversify into the future proof assets?

256  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 18, 2024, 03:04:13 PM
Just another hacking incident that didn't cause panic among people. The last similar incident I recall was the Binance hack where no users were affected. I hope all casinos have this kind of assurance that whatever happens to the site will not impact the funds of its users. Unfortunately, only a few have very liquid operations; some may even use the hack as an excuse to steal funds from users. However, Duelbits has proven they are here to stay no matter what.

I will not be surprised that Duelbits doesn’t bother by this hack situation on their site since they are spending huge amount of money even bigger to hack amount for funding the signature campaign here in the forum. Duelbits is known for being professional on handling all issue with their operations including the cases here in the forum.

I believe only Duelbits and Stake are the only popular casino nowadays that experience big time hack but never affects their operations because of their good approach on dealing with the situation. Kudos to Duelbits management!
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling between the past and nowadays on: February 18, 2024, 02:53:54 PM
In your opinion, what are the factors that brought  change in the field of gambling? What is your outlook on it in the future?

The existence of crypto level up the gambling industry in general because anyone can play now easily online without the need to connect your debit or credit card to online casino just to make a deposit unlike before when only fiat casino available online which mastercard and visa is the only payment method to deposit funds.

Also the fact that casino is now widely available online in most country makes gambling level to the next level because anyone can play anytime they want using their device while sitting comfortably on their home.
258  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics Are down now it's time print money but not the old ways new ways on: February 18, 2024, 12:27:56 PM
I have already heard several times that in the USA this is what they do when printing cash dollars. They can transfer cash dollars to other countries without any problems, but they put up all sorts of obstacles to ensure that the cash returns to the United States. If large amounts of cash enter the United States, especially if it is imported by private individuals, then its origin and reason for import are carefully checked. If the slightest violations are detected, the dollars are confiscated, and a private person may end up in prison.
But it’s a little unclear to me why, if cash dollars are transferred to Ukraine as assistance to protect against Russian military aggression, then this should weaken the national currency of Ukraine? Most likely, the Ukrainian hryvnia will weaken if Ukraine does not receive assistance and this will affect its ability to provide a worthy rebuff to the aggressor.

AFAIK, the result will be the same even if they transfer the fiat out of their country because they will need to buy it back once other country started to convert it again to their own fiat currency. So doing unlimited print for a short period of time will just create inflation despite they will transfer it outside. That’s why they are forcing dollar to be use in global trade so that other country will absorb their fiat permanently but transferring it alone will just result to keep it coming back to them.

They need demand to USD outside their country in able to achieve unli print without inflicting interest to their own country. Too bad that Brics is already sharing the Dollar market globally so it will be very hard for them to this.

259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏀 ⛹🏾 🚀 Winning.pub 'AI Black Box' picks on: February 18, 2024, 10:36:24 AM

Utah Jazz - Golden State Warriors
Golden State Warriors -4 AH @ 2.32 at BetFury.io

This is the only pick that won out of 4 pick that you made. It’s starting to become less efficient now. I just hope that you will still come back for more tipster as this 2.0+ odds is indeed great once you get the sweet spot on picks.

I just notice the inactivity right after the result of this pick. Just continue this thread instead of creating new thread with different brand if ever the reason of being inactive is the efficiency. Hoping you are well.
Honestly a 25% success rate is less effective than even just picking at random. Why would they come back?
This doesn't seem like an experienced tipster or any form of intelligence such as AI in that matter. Probably OP was trying his luck to see what sticks but now they're gone for almost a week, so probably they won't be making a comeback.

Could OP have been too unlucky to actually lose 3/4 bets at their debut? Maybe. Shit happens. But it's probably just a fake it till you make it attempt that went wrong.

He has a good winning percentage on his earlier tipster that I follow. I made a comment on his last tipster poor performance but that doesn’t mean his overall performance is already bad because he still few bets made.

He can still recover his winning percentage ratio with a few successful calls. Besides having a win on a 2.0+ odds is not an easy feat to do. There’s always a time for a losing streak on every tipster. What matters is the recovery and consistency in the end. He is not active anymore but he might come back if find that his thread gain interest already.
260  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Fee Observer Thread in USD(sat/vB) on: February 18, 2024, 09:35:44 AM
