Well my issue is that I have 100s of primecoin wallets and I want to parse them oh, 100 of one coin 1. you could use one wallet with multiple addresses but somehow you dont want this i suppose ? then i could write script for you but it wont be 4 free PM me if you are interested

try to run all coins-daemons at once in background and then make a bash script like this: #!/bin/bash cd some_directory echo "LTC:" ./litecoind getinfo | grep balance echo "BTC" ./bitcoind getinfo | grep balance etc ...

a brief analysis of the block rewards has been posted, as well as premine information and release schedule. to the questions posted thus far
1. I would like to have Mac/Linux Binaries ready upon launch, if possible. it depends on if anyone can step up and compile for each OS. if the community is ok with it, these would be paid positions, ie. the person who does it gets paid out of the bounty fund. 2. If you do not trust downloading the binary you may choose to wait 1 week after launch. 3. I am not aware of any security flaws in the code, but that doesn't mean that they don't exist. 4. I will not cave an upload the source to anyone other than the MAC and LINUX compilers. 5. The source will be uploaded to BitBucket when i feel the network is secure enough. 6. Rather than stripping the source, instead I'll release the sources to Salty Spitoon or any other moderator/hero member the userbase deems trustworthy for review prior to release. i would assume this may postpone the release a few days. beggers can't be choosers.
I can compile linux sources for you and test on few distributions. Send me PM if you are interested.

This is starting to suck really hard.
Two big errors.
1) Releasing binary only - Booo.... MAN we need to review the source! 2) No linux binary? - Booo.... If so, then that would essentially be a windows premine.
I hope you reconsider and do the right thing.
xibeijan is right ! if for some reason you dont want to release sources, at least build linux sources - i can help with that

From what I heard scrypt miners use the L3 cache of the GPU/CPU, not the RAM. Could it be possible that if enough memory has to be used the performance difference between GPUs and CPUs disappears? Also, an algo favoring lots of RAM could be interesting, if one exists.
exactly! I made somewhere point on this forum that there should be coin that uses for example 16GB of RAM so that we cant implement this in gpu ? Or more likely cant do ASICs hmmmm or meaby not Anyway coin that would require at least 8GB memory would be nice alternative Based od AES ? (i7 have hardware acceleration) ?

there is linux sources on github : https://github.com/maxxine/HoboNickels.git are the sources correct ? thundertoe, are those sources yours ?edit: the sources are not compilling and also this sources are suspicious i am back o using provided in first topic sources

it might be also cheat
I can no longer sync to the network either.
I am still showing 6 connections to the network though.
I wonder if having all the network on the pool caused an accidental fork.
Anyone find a new block through solo mining?
nope, solo isnt working either
Just take the pool down until dev does something!
Yep, only try to take down fow 20 mins, those 3 top people generating strange hashrate, meaby that is the case ?
sheinsha, could you shut down yur pool daemon for 20 mins ? meaby you are generating some kind of bad things in network due to strange Hash power of some users in your pool (see my post above)
yep same here
I think that this pool http://phs.minar.cc is cheating by admin or by some user inside that pool. Look at Current hash speed of a pool and speed hash of the NET, and also look on how UNLUCKY pool is i think that someone is cheating
good luck with the second coming... so should we just destroy our old wallets and coins?
yep, life i also have about 1k blocks mined
