thx for the video. I will be totally changing look of simplemining in next month and i will move on with some features. Also nvidia is the thing that i wont do soon becasue i have already too much tasks. I want to change design first and then i will do the grouping feature.

Hmm, i tested newest clyamore 9 on my RX470 and i see performance decreese from 171 to 167 MH I will do more tests. OLD CLAYMORE 8.1NEW CLAYMORE 9What do you think guys about this ? Is it only numbers and real speed is the same or is it worse speed ?

Claymore ETH v9.0:
- added "-asm" option (AMD cards only) which enables assembler GPU kernels. In this mode some tuning is required even in ETH-only mode, use "-dcri" option or or "+/-" keys in runtime to set best speed. Currently only ETH-only and ETH-DCR modes are supported in assembler. Use "-asm 0" if you don't want to use new assembler kernels. If ASM mode is enabled, miner must show "GPU #x: algorithm ASM" at startup. - improved ETH mining speed in ASM mode for some cards, also a bit reduced power usage for some cards (fine-tuning is required via "-dcri" or "+/-" keys in runtime). NOTE 1: if GPU throttles, best "-dcri" value is different. NOTE 2: speed peak can be rather short, so change "-dcri" value slowly. - dramatically increased DCR mining speed in assembler mode (up to 70%). Be careful, power usage is higher too. - added "-gmap" option. - fixed DCR Nicehash support. - added "FINE-TUNING" section to Readme file. - A lot of minor improvements and bug fixes.
Hmm, i tested it on my RX470 and i see performance decreese from 171 to 167 MH I will do more tests. OLD CLAYMORE 8.1NEW CLAYMORE 9What do you think guys about this ? Is it only numbers and real speed is the same or is it worse speed ? I Wont implement this new miner until we solve this unknown .EDIT: OK i see that we need to make some ASM dcri tuning. But i cant implement this miner - it will cause in default settings lower hash speeds. Hmmmm. I would need to change everyone config to add -asm 0 to each config. I will think about this tomorrow.

Request for future update:
-Log when it auto restarts so I can check later to see when and how often
-Also notify by email when it issues an auto restart
In next firmware there will re SRR restart count that could be viewed vrom SRR TOOL ( it will go out as SSRv2 will be released, and this firmware will be 100% compatible with SSRv1) About email notification, i cant do this in SRR but i will do such thing in SMOS but it wont be fast

Good evening, I RMAed my biostart tb85 because I thought it was defective. On simplemining I could not get the card 0 (PCI 16 slot) to run over 8 hash. I tired this with multiple cards so I know those are fine. BUT the new board is now doing the same thing. All other slots are getting 25 hash with no problem and ran for over a week without any errors. With 5 cards it runs fine but as soon as I plug in the X16 slot that 6th card runs awful. Any help would be great!
Settings: -Stock BIOS -No overclocks -Power level 5 Also note:
On simple miner I cant get the core or mem clock on GPU 0 (X16 slot) to go over 300/600 even with stock clock and mem settings in place.
Can you test PCI-E Mode to Auto, gen1, gen2 and see if it will help ? Also i just tested MSI Z270-A PRO. It is working under my OS with 6 GPU. I had to make some adjustments and the newest image (RX) from simplemining.net page is working ok with this board Just wanted to let you know.

Guys, if your gpu is hanging, please use Powerstage set to 6 or even 7, see if it will help ?

Same here with my RX 470 cards. That's why I noted in my post about the MSI z170a board that PCIe speed settings should be left alone.
Hmmm, so its not my OS bug but bios ? hmmmm. OK then. Guyes tell me if Z170 MSI is working in my OS with 6 or 7 gpus ? If yes tell me what exactly Motherboard do you have ? Also is anybody testes my OS with Z270 ? I am getting one, i will arrive tomorrow and i will be testing it

http://imgur.com/dJWHuiII have a request about an issue I'm having. In the simple rig resetter tool, on my computers that are headless (without monitor or high res dummy plug) the resolution is too low to access the side of the program to set the parameters and save and install the auto restart stuff. I can't increase the resolution any higher than that default low one and I can't scroll to the side. could you somehow make the program in windows scroll able so I can scroll to the side like in a browser? Nope i cant do scrollable program. Try changing dpi in windows to lower meaby it will help?

Yep, new Beta updates (which you need to use yourself) : - first beta kernel update 4.11 - then beta amd driver 16.60 And the speeds are very close to windows. And i dont need to tell you how windows vs linux works in other maters OK, can anyone from you confirm that MSI Z170 or Z270 is working or not working ? Also how many gpus did anyone tested on those motherboards ? I am looking for 6GPU motherboard cheapest alternative and the MSI Z170 and Z270 are one my aim right now. But i need to confirm if they are working with SMOS without problems ? (becasue i had reports that there was problems

Im using SRR for couple weeks now, device is great and saves me lot of time so thumbs up! There is one thing that could be even more helpfull - when rig hangs the SRR works flawless but sometimes if only miner hangs not whole rig it still recieves packets and aint restarting - solution could be checking if miner is sending packets on custom set port unless someone has better idea.
Yes SSR is only resetting when whole operating system will froze and stops sending network packages. If miner froze then operating system is working so you could make some software for it. Anyway if you are using claymore there is already this function -wd 1 -r 1 and you need to have reboot script inside directory. In my SMOS its working ofcourse without any problem Rig is restarting as soon as at least 1 GPU hangs. But you need to use claymore and have -wd 1 -r 1 in parameters ofcourse.

So just to clear this g up.. the NEW KERNEL + AMD drivers are only for the Rx image? I'm running R image and just want to check before updating.
Keep up the good work Tytanick
Yes its only for RX OS. In 4 OS the update button should be unavailable - It is not available right ?

First things first. But auto switching causes too many problems and WONT be implemented any soon. I have already big list and i dont want to add and add more things to it Propably what i could implement is some informations from whattomine or other services. After my OS will have some more important functions i will think about this also. Right now i am still busy with those fcking cables for SRRv1 (once SSRv2 will be released i will have much more time because now i am helping my girfriend with those cables. It is masacre, each cable takes 7 minute to make it Anyway after that i will TRY TO IMPLEMENT this nice looking dashboard, see this below Example: https://simplemining.net/inspinia/Once i will migrate all functions to this, i will make grouping feature thich is right now most wanted. I was thinking many days about rig grouping function..... First i wanted to do this in very simple way but after few days i realised that i want to do this in better way. Anyway it needed more time to do and then i saw this beautifull dashboard which i told myself that i must have this !! Anyway you guys think its nice right ?

Hey, I started using this OS today. I like it so far i just ran into a few issues. First off all i upgraded to the beta which boots and works so far. I noticed however, that when i run the sgminer-gm5.5.5 on ethereum the commandline shows me mining speeds of upto 60mhs per card (i did not test this miner bevore i upgraded to beta tho, might be fine there i will try that out later), it finds no shares at all and then one of the cards gets shutdown cuz of idling. Also why can't i use ethermine.org for eth mining, I get constantly disconnected from the server? Apart from that nice work if i can get my cards to hash at my windows speeds ill likely stay on the os !
Better use claymore miner what are you mining ?

I cant get the agent to run under windows 10 , keep getting a message saying a windows service must be first installed or something.
I also dont see that unblock option like you have in your diagrams
thanks
Hi, Try running Tool with ADMIN PRIVILEGES, so right click on binary and "Run as administrator" Also dont run from zipped archive, unzip first on disk and then run it. If you still will have problems write on admin@simplemining.net - tell me your Tema Viewer login and pass so i could take a look.
