I don't think that this is the end of the altcoin because how can we tell if this is the end of altcoin if we don't have see any huge dumps in the market and news from the legit sources for confirming about the death or end of the altcoin. Altcoins are still kicking and moving up and maybe they are going down but it is normal and they will surely get back up again.

I have ledger wallet where it is a hardware wallet and it supports a lot of cryptocurrency so it is so easy to store different altcoins there and hold them for long term because ledger wallet is safe and it is easy to bring anywhere because of its small size and since it is a hardware wallet, it is offline and has a great encryption so it is very safe.
