1701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin have FUNDAMENTALS?!?! on: June 08, 2019, 06:25:29 AM

I am trying to share my research and discoveries with my fellow traders. Trading crypto is not hard when you understand how its cash flow works. How could you invest in a stock without knowing its cash flow and asset balances? I will post my personal bitcoin history tomorrow to let people know just how much I could have saved with knowledge of the price floor and speculation levels. It is a gross amount of money Sad lol

I think I am learning a thing or two with your post here. I am interested to know more on bitcoin fundamentals as it can be a good guide in investing with bitcoin. Now, looking at the current price of bitcoin, do you think it can still safe to enter the bitcoin mania or not anymore?

Indeed, crypto trading is easy if you have fully understand the cash flow and how it works because you'll be able to know the decision to make at a specific time. It is very important that a trader knows the fundamentals of trading for them to be able to be successful.
1702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered a Religion? on: June 08, 2019, 05:22:20 AM
Considering how many Bitcoin believers (maximalists) there are, with their specific beliefs of how cryptocurrency should behave, it's becoming more evident that Bitcoin is a religion. After all, this popular movement of decentralized finance has impacted our lives one way or the other. The world has its eyes on the direction of Bitcoin as a digital currency which determines the path forward of Blockchain technology.

According to Google, the term "Religion" means the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods. This becomes true especially when many Bitcoin followers believe that Satoshi is some sort of "god". Hence, if Satoshi would reveal himself to the public, many people will follow him.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh
I think that is a wrong perception. We want earn more bitcoin because it is money. Sathosi don't have any super power that can control the world, he just a bitcoin creator. The stronggest asset that have growing value is gold. Who create the gold? That is the only one God. Bitcoin is not a religion but it is a currency which unite many people in different country here.

Very well said, some people are having wrong perception about bitcoin to the point they wanted to relate it to become a religion. Satoshi is a human who was able to create a currency that helped many people but he is nothing compared to god thus bitcoin cannot be considered a religion.
1703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: June 08, 2019, 05:02:16 AM
Scammers are everywhere and i feel sad for bitcoin, We can't deny the fact that some people used bitcoin for their own benefits. Bitcoin is for everyone and it depends to the people if they use it for good or bad. People are very dangerous and all we can do to all scammers over there is pray for their changes.

I agree, bitcoin has more good than bad but because of scammers bitcoin become bad to most of the people. Scam is something that we cannot avoid because there is always someone who will scam people so we just have to be very careful and I think we just have to educate other people about bitcoin its true use and benefits for them tp filly understand it better.
1704  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Featured Gambling Site on: June 08, 2019, 04:45:06 AM
Just want to add up;

5.Fairness
6. Sites UI/UX

You forgot the things which are considered one of the most or even the most important things
to be considered first on a good gambling site.

Aside from that, the acquisition of gambling licenses for me is a plus.
It shows to the gambling community that they are serious in operating their business.
So you have peace of mind that you are dealing with legit site & the chance of running away your money is minimal.

But for my other top 3 important features -
1. the provable fairness
2. minimum deposit/withdrawal amount
3. fast customer support

It is good that the gambling site to have license so that gamblers will feel secure because they know that they are betting on a legit site. Also, for me it is very important to have fast customer support to assist gamblers like me who will be there to help if incase there are issues.
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: June 08, 2019, 12:53:37 AM
We live in a world where our online IDs are in the hands of the government and banks, and we rely on them to keep it secure. Blockchain IDs on the other hand, put you and you only in control. Therefore, you can store all your passwords and any other personal information on the blockchain, eliminating the need of passwords in everything. In the future, these ID services could be applied to government services, medicines and any other record keeping agency.

Blockchain system exist to combat greed and middlemen and to give individuals ultimate control of their identity and activity. In a blockchain future, we will see a world where our medical records are immediately available if we are in an accident; where online voting was possible; and where transparency was paramount and greed is disincentivized.
I do not know the relevance of blockchain in ID. But I think it may help a lot in different things today since we need right now is transparency. Blockchain technology will give us an adequate information on which, what and how a certain thing happen. If there is a blockchain technology, we can easily grab the data we need and it assure us that voting or election will not be corrupted by candidates.
Will just give a hope that using blockchain technology will help to have an effective voting system cause isn't tested yet. It is the use of blockchain to have certain limitations and we've never known how it works into the other areas aside from it is used into cryptocurrency.
I know we are into developing its system and quite to see more improvements and integrations in the future.

Agree, blockchain can have a lot of uses in the future like the above mentioned but for now it is only limited to cryptocurrency. Blockchain is still being developed and improve to be better so I guess we can expect more in the future or in the coming years.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is anonymous betting a desired feature? on: June 07, 2019, 11:54:48 PM
I think if you want to be a serious sports bet provider, you should aim to be regulated, and it means that KYC/AML is inevitable. Of course, bettors want to be anonymous (including me) to get rid of the hassle when withdrawing money.

Other than abuse as mentioned by @Pmalek, anonymous casino prone to the government takedown, licensing, and other trust problems.

Yes it is true that most gamblers want to be anonymous but if you want to be a successful sportsbet provider I think it is best to be regulated to avoid any complications in the long run or even closure like directbet. Before you decide what to do make sure to know it's pros and cons do a lot of research and weigh which is better, besides it's not only anonymity is the factor a gambler will look at a betting site.
1707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be legally accepted in every country in the next 10 years? on: June 07, 2019, 11:36:22 PM
I think bitcoin will be accepted my most people in 10 years but i'm not sure if all in every country will because no matter how good the currency there will always some people against it but who knows maybe just maybe. Bitcoin has increased popularity and 10 years is still a long way to go so we really can't tell as of now.
1708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scrabble: "Bitcoin" already included in it's 6th edition on: June 07, 2019, 03:24:48 PM
It's surprising that Bitcoin is being recognized and noticed in different ways around the world.
It was just being adopted by merchants these days and it's now being recognized and added even in scrabble.
People will surely be more aware about cryptocurrency becsuse of this.

I agree, it could be another stepping stone for bitcoin, with this a lot will be aware of bitcoin and hopefully it will help them know a bit of bitcoin. Considering a lot companies have now recognized bitcoin, I believe it will have a good impact in the price once a lot of people invest on bitcoin.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling frustration and depression on: June 07, 2019, 03:06:56 PM
If you make gambling as a form of living then you are bound to experience the same fate. If you only take it as a hobby to kill time then you'd be better off. I also get disappointed/frustrated sometimes after a loss but not to a point where I lose sleep thinking about it.

I agree, if you only do it to kill time and only use your spare money then you shouldn't feel so much disappointment or frustration unlike those who make gambling for a living, it frustrates them because they gamble their hard earned money to have it doubled or more but instead lose and with that frustration they try to bet again in the hope they will recover them but some still lose which is even more frustrating, so I don't really think its good to do gambling for a living.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: June 06, 2019, 11:58:31 PM
Yesterday I watched a video about addiction on youtube: https://youtu.be/ao8L-0nSYzg. It was a real surprise to me that according to recent research people are addicted to drugs mainly because they can't bond well with people and are not able to live a satisfying life. The research shows that when an addicted person appears in a loving and caring environment, the addiction kind of disappears (even heroin addiction). I wonder what are your thoughts on this matter and whether you think you could say the same about gambling addiction.

Gambling addiction is different from drug addiction in terms of reasoning from someone who is into it. Addiction in gambling is because people are dissatisfied with what they already won in a gambling, and tend to lose it all even if they know they are not winning the game.

I agree, addiction is gambling is more on not being satisfied with their winnings and they tend to become greedy to win more and as a result lose everything. I don't think gamblers gamble because their lonely its just that they've found fun while doing it like myself, don't get me wrong, i'm not an addict but gambling is my favorite past time not because i'm lonely. However, it depends still on the gamblers because we all have different reasons why we gamble.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: June 06, 2019, 11:31:23 PM
For me gambling is both luck and strategy,
Most of the online gambling sites are just luck but if you are playing with a real opponents then you could use strategy,
No matter how good your strategy is if luck isn't on your side you would lose.

I think it depends on what game your playing, some games I think is more on luck but some games like poker for example you need to have a strategy to be able to win. I gambled couple of times already just for fun and based on my experience, I think it is more on luck rather that strategy.
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any casinos that have a 0% house edge? on: June 06, 2019, 02:26:14 PM
I doubt it, gambling sites owners are businessmen, meaning they are after profits and it is very impossible for them to set-up 0% house edge, I believe they set it up as high as possible to ensure profits. I heard some may have promotions but not to the point where they offer 0% house edge.
1713  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pinoy takot paren sa crypto-investing? on: June 06, 2019, 01:26:11 PM
Kahit alam naten good benefits ng Bitcoin pag dating sa kitaan. We cannot blame then if sabihin nila di pa sila ready msg invest or sumubok. One reason is budget maybe tight budget sila.

1714  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you?qq on: June 06, 2019, 12:42:24 PM
Just try to listen some music or watch movies (i recommended to see comedy movies ) that's make myself better  Grin

I've decided to stop trading at all. It's too bad for me

I think it depends some may find it stressful but some may find it very entertaining. As for me, I really think it is stressful because I think I already did research, read this and that but i'm still not that good, I was lucky for a couple of times but most of the time I lose so right now I stopped for a awhile and try to study trading again.

That's right it actually depends on the trader how he sees it, for me at first its hard and stressful because it seems like all my efforts are useless, I kept on losing, I always misunderstood the market to the point that I really want to quit but instead I still continue to study the market thoroughly and I made sure to as much as possible not do the same mistakes again, and little by little I was able to understand the market well and I can say I got better. If trading is stressful for you take a break and rethink of the things that you might have done wrong and still continue to study the market.
1715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Find Satoshi? on: June 06, 2019, 12:21:45 PM
Thats a big question to us, where is satoshi? I guess with just few hints we cant find him. Its been 9 years back then but no one can prove which person is that named satoshi. Maybe he's still alive but dont want to be public. Live a peaceful life with his family.

I agree, Satoshi has not been found for years now and I think he wanted it that way, it is very difficult to find the person who don't want to be found. I think he just want to live normally without any hassle so I guess let's just respect it. For me, we can't really find satoshi.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Psychological Technique - Play without Pressure on: June 06, 2019, 03:18:18 AM
I experienced playing games with great pressure when losing and want to recover what I lose and I also experienced without feeling pressure as my mind is already expecting losing of what I can afford to lose and not afraid to take risky moves or decision and later on I got and earn more than the money I started playing then I stopped.

This happens because you just play the gambling only to make money from it. If you play for your fun and to enjoy you would be relaxed and never be under pressure. This is the best way to be stressed free and have a great time as well.

I totally agree, it really depends on the gambler's intention of gambling, if it's to make money then obviously it will have pressure if your losing since your goal is to make profits but it it's only for fun and you only use your spare money then you'll not think about stress because it just a past time, if you win then good but if you lose then it's part of the game. Thus, I don't recommend gambling if you wanted to make money because your chance of getting is doubled or have profits is very slim.
1717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Bulls Near Exhaustion on: June 06, 2019, 12:01:12 AM
I think that Bitcoin (and alts) will see some heavy correction in the next week or so. This is based purely on a historic profile.

I wouldn't mind being wrong on this though :-)

Well, there's no perfect speculation since the market is highly volatile. However, most people believe that the historic price of bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency only repeats itself in the same manner. So, this might be correct.

I agree, if we base it on the history of bitcoin then there's nothing to be worried about since there's a possibility it will happen, though it might be sure but I thinks there a big chance for it to repeat itself. June just started so I think there's still time for bitcoin to rise up again before the month ends.
1718  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we still expect more from bitcon? on: June 05, 2019, 11:20:55 AM
It's hard to predict but if we'll check on the previous history of Bitcoin, we could see that Bitcoin could even exceed our expectations. It can reach even more because it has a capability to go beyond without any limit. There will be corrections but I believe that Bitcoin will still strike high.

I agree, we really can predict what's going to happen in the coming days though as we can see it dropped now to $7800 but maybe it will rise up again in the comings days, I guess it is still early to think that we cannot expect more from bitcoin. With its history as reference, the price may rise hopefully it will reach $10,000. We'll just have to wait and see.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country knows about cock fighting betting? on: June 05, 2019, 10:58:32 AM
We have it in our country but their a specific place to do it which is legal and they even have schedules like  every Sunday in our place. It is an all time favorite past time by most people especially older ones or like retirees.
1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: June 05, 2019, 08:13:24 AM
Have you been able to resist the addiction and not let gambling consume you?
Before it was hard for me but as long as you're getting dry with your life and you notice the negative effects and changes that happens to your life because of it, I was able to resist it.

It is really hard most especially to those who are really addicted to gambling, good thing to those who were able to stop before its too late because some would really push like more than their limits to the point that they're left with nothing and they only realize it after when its already to late. For a gambler to have better self control they need a lot of time and effort not to let their emotions to consume them.
