1601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Margin trading victims and how to avoid losses on: June 21, 2019, 07:05:28 AM
The higher the leverage the higher the risk that is why it is better that you are well versed in trading when you enter leverage or margin trading. Margin is good because it can give you big profits if you trade correctly but if you failed and made a mistake then you could lose everything. You have to really keep an eye on the market to make sure your win and if you think the trend may go down then exit to avoid major losses
1602  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: June 21, 2019, 05:33:39 AM
Social media and other addictive Internet sites - people are constantly glued to them, even on their work, which decreases their productivity. Social media also cause depression in many people, because they not only procrastinate, but also constantly compare their life to others, which leads to dissatisfaction. Also social media are good at spreading lies and fakes, which can have negative effects on the economy - anti-vax panic, anti-GMO, political manipulation and so on.

I agree, young adults now are very addicted to social media that they don't care so much about study but they wanted to have their profile to have a lot of subscribers. Indeed social media can make a person to be unproductive in the sense that because of Facebook for example they will not do their work with quality. Also not all in social media can be trusted some new can be fake which can manipulate or stress people.
1603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading! The good the bad and the ugly on: June 21, 2019, 05:21:45 AM
Daily trading is very risky if you are not very familiar with it, this type of trading are being use by professionals traders. The big advantage of daily trading is that you can easily multiply your investment if you are doing it right.

You don't need to wait for few weeks, months and years to obtain your profit. That is the big advantage of daily trading but it's disadvantage is it's opposite, you can also loss your investment in a short period of time if you are doing it wrong. So it's better that you will study it first before engaging to this kind of trading.

Exactly, the good thing about trading is that you can easily exit even before the market closes to avoid losses or risk. Day trading can also be very profitable because of margin or leverage trading but make sure you do it right but if you don't do it right then it can also be very unprofitable. Before entering in day trading make sure you have enough knowledge about it because it is very risky.
1604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do traders make more money than holders? on: June 21, 2019, 03:21:44 AM
For me both are equal in terms of profits, yes trader can earn everyday little by little if the price is constantly increasing but may suffer loss if the price went down, as for holders they are not after short term gains they are after the long term profits which can be very big depending on the price, it is like one time big time.
1605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or not? on: June 21, 2019, 01:39:40 AM
I'm so sorry to hear that, well it’s normal to fail sometimes but don’t stop there, you can do better. Make sure to research about the coin your trading and see the history to check if it’s a good investment, don’t just invest on a coin without checking because you will really lose. Trading can give you profits but you have to chose the right coins to invest to.
1606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It’s very easy to trade Bitcoin on: June 21, 2019, 12:05:12 AM
I am not sure that Bitcoin is the best choice for trading. It is the best cryptocurrency to invest in and to hold it. For trading, it is advised to have at least 10-16 altcoins in a portfolio and work with them, combining and changing pairs.
Bitcoin is indeed very good to hold, but it does not mean that trading in bitcoin is an improper choice, because everything in the cryptocurrency market has different potential and if we are able to use it well then each coin has good potential for profit whether it is to be traded or only to be hold. So this is a choice, if you can do it why not.

I agree, for me bitcoin is very good for both day and long term trading, and of all the coins in the market I would trust bitcoin more than anything else because it is already proven by many and it has survived the longest already. Yes, all other coins have potential but for me bitcoin has greater potential from others.
1607  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analyst claim Bitcoin will easily surpass $15,000 if it gets $10,000 on: June 20, 2019, 11:43:44 PM
Bitcoin's price right now is increasing and it reached $9500 in just a few days so its not impossible that it will then reach $10k even before the end of June but $15k, i'm a little skeptical about it but who knows maybe it will really reach 15k and when that happens then I guess we can expect a bull run, fingers crossed.  Smiley
1608  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2019, 03:20:51 PM
No, Real wealth is knowledge, no amount of coins or money can give you that.
Yeah it's true. But, if you can't put your knowledge into good stuff then it doesn't matter to have much knowledge yet you don't know how to interpret it at real life ;^)

Exactly, your knowledge will be useless if you don't put it into good stuff. Bitcoins price right now is gradually increasing and I think it will continue to increase hopefully $10k by the end of June, with this trend I can say that we can still get wealthy in bitcoin most especially those who were able to purchase it at a lower price.
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Promoting Gambling on: June 20, 2019, 06:19:10 AM
I myself is also part of the signature campaign which promotes gambling but I don't feel guilty regarding my comments on this forum because this is first and for most a forum wherein we can say our opinions regardless if it's negative or positive. Besides the opinions that we are giving are useful opinions to the benefits of our co-members here. I don't think being part of a signature campaign prohibits a member to say whatever they want to say, signature campaigns are like advertisement that we promote.
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler was being robbed on: June 20, 2019, 05:39:28 AM
If you gamble online - especially with crypto - on computers not protected well enough, hackers can steal from you too.
If you go to casinos I think that some allow you to deposit your winnings to your bank account. Or you can watch your back, or you can call for some more friends (or hire somebody) to watch your back.

There are plenty of ways to ensure you don't get robbed - online or offline - and there are plenty of ways to be careless.
So at the end, it's about everybody's preference where to play and how to keep himself (and his wealth) safe.

He should have deposited it in his bank account if that's the case instead of bringing the money by himself because a lot or robbers are just waiting outside checking if someone won big and well obviously to rob that person. Also it could be that an employee from inside has contact to those robbers and informed his friends that a specific person won big so the friends outside can easily target the person. For me, it is okay to go to casinos but just make sure to be careful, smart and observant of your surroundings.
1611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: June 20, 2019, 05:22:27 AM
can this world stop in gambling?
someone who like to gamble hard to escape from the gambling trap. almost like a drug addict. Even after they went bankrupt still struggling to gamble by borrowing money for gambling. Actually what do they expect?

Gambling will never end in this world until  the last human being is their on this planet gambling will exist, As from long long time ago itself gambling is their and due to this their were so many big epic history are created due to gambling addict.

Exactly, no matter how bad the effect of gambling to people, gambling will not end because it all boils down to the gambler who is not able to resist greed and can't control themselves to be addicted. So long as gambling sites or companies didn't break any rules or didn't do any cheating then they will not end. The mistake of most gamblers is that they trust gambling so much to earn money.
1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 19, 2019, 11:35:59 PM
If you know you don't have good self control in the first place, it's a good idea to just avoid gambling as a whole. Gambling's obviously not for everybody, and it can be extremely hard to stop especially once you've buried yourself in losses.

Greed can take over in trading too, especially with highly leveraged margin trades, which are essentially gambling with 100x leverage. Greed can ruin you almost anywhere.

I think gamblers think at first that they can control themselves not to be addicted to gambling that’s why they gamble but in reality they became addicted and sometimes they are in denial that they are addicted. Indeed gambling isn’t for everyone but a lot is still gambling to earn money.
1613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? on: June 19, 2019, 02:53:24 PM
I gamble because I want to have fun and at the same time gain profits. Gambling is a way for me to forget may problems for awhile, also it help me relax at some point and I don’t gamble more than what I can afford. I’m into gambling but I make it a point not to be addicted to gambling.
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Royal ramble in the casino on: June 19, 2019, 12:07:17 PM
Gambling can influence anyone and it can also trigger trouble to a greedy player.

I’m quietly playing on the side of the casino when I heard someone was shouting to another player, I’m shock because it happened on casinos so as expected everyone was panicking and most of the players leaves the table. I’m a kind of person that want’s to know every stories, so i ask the other player on that table and he said, the guy was loss everything that’s why he was mad.

Now I conclude that he’s so addict on gambling to become emotional like that, that was my unexpected experience on the casinos. I’m trying to look for a news about this but I think, its not open for the public as casinos are more private as much as possible. Have you experience this one also? Is it normal to have a scene like this?
Yes i think it is normal to a gambler. I also have experience getting mad in gambling because i also have lost a lot of money at the casino.

What do you mean it's normal? Are you saying it is normal to shout at someone if your losing? I don't agree if that so because a gambler knows that there are only two possibilities in gambling you either win or lose, if you lose then accept it its part of the game, I know it hurts and you will feel mad but no matter how mad you are to your opponent, shouting at them is not going to change the fact that you lose.
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: June 19, 2019, 11:35:32 AM
I don't get any success in the gambling games and my success rate is really low and I only facing the loss than the success. I don't think that we can have a big chance to win after we lose if we don't have a luck inside us. and if somehow we win the games, we are only attracted to spend more money without thinking that we might be lost in the next rounds. we cannot get a success from the gambling and if its true, maybe it's for a few people that could reach their success from the gambling.

Very few people might have a high success rate after say playing 100 times or more. Higher you play lower the chances of the success and higher the loss. So if you win in starting take the money and leave it unless you have extra to spare or play for fun.

That's right, that's how house edges in gambling works, the longer you play the bigger the chances of losing, that is why if you notice when you gamble you will win after few games but when you play longer you end up losing everytime. I think the only thing that I can say i was successful in gambling is in controlling myself not to be greedy and addicted to gambling.
1616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Justin Bieber VS Tom Cruise - UFC Fight on: June 19, 2019, 11:12:32 AM
I want someone to punch Justin Bieber in the face and that would be amazing if it is Tom Cruise. As far as I know, Tom Cruise makes his own stunts so I doubt that he would be new to this kind of stuff. It might not be fighting stunts but he lived with that terrifying stunts he made. I don't know why Justin suddenly want a match with Tom Cruise but I think he is outmatched, what do you think?

I know right! I don’t understand Justin as well, of all people he wants to fight with he chose Tom Cruise, maybe he is underestimating Tom Cruise considering that he isn’t that young anymore but if what they say it’s true that Tom Cruise is a wrestler and that he make his own stunts then Justin is just nothing for Tom Cruise. I think Justin just think highly of himself that’s why he want to challenge Tom Cruise. I can’t wait to see the fight if it will come true, I want to see Justin lose.  Smiley
1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 18, 2019, 11:53:54 PM
This only happens to people who are so desperate to make money without really working for it and such spirit is not good because at the end of the day if you invest all your money and the result turn negative the result will not be different from what we saw in the article you submitted above.

Exactly, that's what most people want to get big money without really working hard for it without thinking about the consequences. Also some are lucky after few games and then greed comes in after winning so they tend to gamble more to get more money but the end result is they will lose everything the won and they go back to having no money and worst case is they go home with debts.
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling turn an atheist to theist and superstitious? on: June 18, 2019, 04:01:18 PM
Gambling is a game that is most of the time base on luck and being lucky doesn’t means it’s because God want us to be lucky, same goes to people who aren’t lucky in gambling - is it fair to say that it’s God who made those people unlucky? I don’t think so. Gambling and religion are two different things and I don’t see any relation to them so wether the atheist will gamble they will not think of God because in the first place atheist don’t believe in God. If an atheist person will gamble and win they will not say thanks to god because normally they would think they are lucky so to answer your question I don’t think gambling has any impact to atheist players in becoming theist.
1619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is the best place to learn how to play Poker online? on: June 18, 2019, 03:21:19 PM
It will be better to use some android apps and try their. You will learn their about the rules and you can practise their for losing nothing. If I can recall correctly, I learned most of those game from this kind of app. It's free and easy to learn.

That’s right, there’s a lot of mobile apps or games for poker you just have to choose from any of them and you can practice playing using the application, it’s good for noobs for you to be able to familiarize how poker is done and while playing you can think of possible strategies. Also, it a good way to learn without losing any money, and if in case you’ve learned enough then you can try gambling if you want to gain profits while playing.
1620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to beat the household? on: June 18, 2019, 11:33:41 AM
Household means?

I really do not understand the question of him. Is he saying that beating the hodl fund on investing towards gambling or something other than that. Could some one explain it what it is?

I think OP meant house edges in casino's, house edge is a built in advantage that owners of the casinos set to their advantage to gain profits from gamblers without cheating. House edges are all the time very hard to beat and the longer you play the bigger chance a gambler will lose because of house edges.
