1741  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you secretive about trading currency? on: June 01, 2019, 03:08:40 PM
Yes, very dangerous, people think we have a lot of money. Robbers are dangerous in my place, A lot of people got killed because of money. Some traders even hide their real idedntity in social media.

Exactly, robbers doesn’t care about anything but money. Well, yes it might be good not to let other people know that you’re trading at some point for your safety most especially that most people may think that your so rich because you are trading. I think you just have to tell someone that you really know and trust if that’s the case and be cautious still in providing information.
1742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason we need cryptocurrencies on: June 01, 2019, 02:44:23 PM
Cryptocurrency is indeed very useful to us and it gives us financial freedom, not only that it also provides convenience in our transactions unlike banks or governments wherein you have to follow complicated. However, in whatever we do either crypto or banks or governments, there’s always risk, we can’t really avoid that but I believe that bitcoin is worth the risk.
1743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly 35 million Blockchain wallet users at the end of March 2019 on: June 01, 2019, 02:02:19 AM
That's just an indication that cyptp have gone so far and has evolved and reached a lot of people. However, those wallets for sure aren't considered as 1:1 because some users are using multiple wallets for some reasons. 35 million is still a big number. It will surely go higher once the market reaches the bull run season because it will catch people's interest even more.

I agree, that could be true at some point but 35 million is still a big number even if we say divide it into two it’s still huge. Bitcoin however is gaining more and more popularity these days and I think it may go more than 35 million. With bitcoin price on an upward trend and also people are starting to get interest in bitcoin and with the upcoming bull run then we can expect a mass adoption.
1744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Disappear Day on: June 01, 2019, 01:06:41 AM
Well, I'm almost sure he only changed his identity and he is still around, watching what happen and discussing major issues with Gavin. He started great project which started to be self-sufficient and now he can be satisfied by looking on us, incognito Smiley.

I agree, maybe he just don’t want public attention like most people do, he wanted his privacy more that anything else that is why he is not coming out but I believe he is just looking, observing what is happening with bitcoin. Also I guess it doesn’t really matter if he will go on public because bitcoin has been doing great for many years now without him around and if incase he will come out I don’t believe it will have an affect on the price either.
1745  Economy / Speculation / Re: If history repeats itself, we could be in for a rally in June on: June 01, 2019, 12:38:01 AM
Bitcoin has been really surprising these days. It could possibly reach a better by June. The correction is done and the price is getting stable by $8k. Most speculators are having the same expectations. There would be huge dumps once the price goes up again but it will surely strike higher.

That’s is true, seeing the huge pump and increasing trend this month from $5k - $8k, I believe we can expect a better or a higher price this June. As well all know a lot is now adopting bitcoin thus increases it’s demand and with that, the price would also then go up. Their might be a few dumps along the way but bitcoin is bitcoin it has proven itself to always strike back again after it falls. I just hope June would really be another good month for bitcoin.
1746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using crypto to help the homeless - (for real - with pics!) on: May 31, 2019, 11:57:32 PM
It is very rare to see individuals helping others in their basic needs. It is such a wonderful sight seeing the good deeds. I somehow inspired to do the same thing as to promote humanity especially in our locals.

It is not easy life for the unfortunate people so even just one day letting them feel good then is something extraordinary for them.

However, there are some group of people doing this also to get more support by asking donations and then taking advantage by keeping the money donated from the people. So, if ever one may going to donate oemne should know if the charity for example.is legit and registered.

I agree, its is a very nice sight to see knowing that someone is lending their hand to the homeless and very rare too. This is a good way as well to let other people know that crypto isn’t full of crap, this is just one good way that crypto can provide to us using it and to other people as well. On the other note, I also agree that some group may not be legit and they just using the homeless to get money from people and it’s just sad to know that while others are really doing their best to help the needy yet others are using this excuse to get money and not really help.
1747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin grows, worlds money and big fishes. Is this connection obvious? on: May 31, 2019, 04:24:38 PM
I don't think you can not go far if you take any news you hear or read about cryptocurrency seriously because you would fall so easily for FUD and FOMO and make wrong decision. Bitcoin did not increase because of Donal trump supported or joined in(i still don't believe this)

Agree, not everything you read even if it is an article or news from other sources such be taken seriously. Try verifying any information or news you gather before believing it. OP can you share a link where you have read your post? Well, sure the market is composed of big fishes,  but there's no way to verify if ever Trump is mainly the reason why bitcoin is pumped. If you will read more articles, there had been a lot of news about crypto adaptation and positive news about crypto which is more probable cause of the increase in market demand.

That’s right, it seems like they are implying that trump has a big influence in the market price right now when in fact he’s got nothing to do about it. Yes, trump is a very influential person but he the reason of bitcoin’s price, I don’t think so, there’s a lot of factors that can affect the market price and I don’t think having an influential person accept it or using it is one of them. Besides, I haven’t seen any articles confirming that trump is indeed supporting crypto now.
1748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Satoshi filed claim for Bitcoin Whitepaper on: May 31, 2019, 03:45:54 PM
But absolutely anyone can file a claim right? that's established. It means nothing.
And wow, we need to get rid of these kind of actors(CSW primarily) from this space, looks like a playground from the outside world.
Good luck adoption.

Indeed. And I wonder why people think that this is hot news. Anyone can claim it but we will never know who is the real.
And apart from that, is CSW claimed the copyrights why BSV is pumped and not BTC? He filed claims for BTC and not BSV. I truly believe that there are a lot of naive people in the market even after all this bear market.

Exactly, it’s weird that a lot of people find it very interesting, I think this happened because a lot of people is wondering who is the real Satoshi and been trying to find him thus a lot will also come out filing claims. Well, naive people are always there whether we like it or not, I was just wondering as well what is it for us or them to know who the real Satoshi is? I just don’t think it will have any affect on the price of BTC whether he comes out or not, just saying.
1749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: May 31, 2019, 04:51:40 AM
Every type of work is stressful.Trading is just work. When you run your own business and invest your own money,it's even more stessful, compared with having a "9 to 5" job, because the risk is way higher.
Stress is actually something good.It can help you optimise your performance and keep you in good shape.

I agree, it can be really stressful most especially with the current market and also not all predictions come out to be true or positive, try to take a break for a while and rethink of a better strategy because the one that you're currently using isn't working. Don't try to continue trading is your stressed because it will just worsen the situation.
1750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The BEST BOOKS to learn how to invest in crypto? on: May 31, 2019, 01:49:29 AM
I didn’t learn it from books in my case merely because I find it hard to find a good book about investing in crypto, what I did was research on the internet, there’s a lot of articles, tutorials and even youtube videos that you can choose from and can learn from. And it is way better rather than finding a book and use it to study.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From Janitor to Millionaire on: May 31, 2019, 12:15:27 AM
He is sure a lucky guy, I know his a kind hearted man that’s why he won, working as a janitor in your 50s is already hard good thing he will not be doing that anymore after his winning. I just hope everything will be well for them and spend his winning wisely.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: May 30, 2019, 11:45:22 PM
It does happen most of the time and I also hear that from others as well but most them didn’t quit, they still comeback to gambling. Once your already addicted to gambling that’s when its hard to stay out of it, if your losing and you think it is already affecting your finances then stop, control yourself not to go back again because you will lose everything if you continue.
1753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin usage and misaligned expectations on: May 30, 2019, 02:40:26 PM
I believe there are some people in the community who are in the standpoint that "Bitcoin isn't successful" unless they can use it for "almost-zero fee" coffee transactions. But is it truly a failure?

They should give us an example of any technology where they pay "almost-zero fee" transactions with other payment services out there, before they can say that about Bitcoin. Everything from Diners club to credit cards to PayPal has some kind of fee structure to pay for their expenses to run that system.

The Lightning Network is the closest we will ever come to a "almost-zero fee" transaction scenario, but it is still in it's development stage to sort out some teething problems. Crypto currencies will always need some remuneration or reward system that would need to be funded by someone else to fund the transaction volume on the network.  Tongue

I agree, I guess they just looking some lame reasons to say something bad about bitcoin. Well, whether we like it or not there's always someone who will not be happy with bitcoin's success, as for the exact reason, I don't know. Bitcoin has far more useful to most of us and those non-sense are harmless so long as bitcoin is doing good and the price is up then it'll be good for us, it's a shame to those who judge bitcoin badly.
1754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as an entertainment thing on: May 30, 2019, 12:52:09 PM
There are a lot of companies calling me at least every 2 days to ask me if i am into trading and if not why not and why i don't and so on..
Is there any kind of entertainment if doing online investments or trading?
Enlighten me!

Trading or investment is not for fun, enjoy the journey " YES" but for entertainment " NO ". We all have the same purposes about trading and need hard work to become success, there's no time for entertainment. Something wrong with your mindset, please fix it before too late.

Exactly! I suppose he is mistaking trading as gambling, trading can never be an entertainment thing because it is an investment though you got to enjoy it along the way if your really into trading. I was just wondering though about the person calling him asking about trading, I just find it odd for someone to call random people asking about trading that could be a scam. Anyways, trading can be a very good source of income most especially if you do it right, don't consider it for fun because it'll be a waste of time and money.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: May 30, 2019, 12:12:21 PM
To be honest most of us can't be successful person in the gambling simply because it depends on luck,so I am not successful in gambling because I lost more than I won in gambling, but gambling is not for success or failure just enjoy the adrenaline while you are at the betting time which is more worth than our money. Cheesy
if we calculate all our income and expenses to gamble .. I'm sure we'll be surprised, because maybe only 2 out of 10 people who benefit from gambling and I'm sure the other loses big ... because sometimes we are not aware, that the victory that we get not able to cover up the defeat in the past

This is true, based on what I noticed gamblers will tend to bet more once they won without really thinking that his win isn't equal to his losses if really calculate it, gamblers cannot actually see that for the fact that they don't calculate it and losses doesn't really matter after they win, all they think about is they won. Success in gambling is very low considering that gambling sites have house edges and gambling should not be an option in desperate times because it'll just make it worse.
1756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc has no value on: May 30, 2019, 11:31:47 AM
Actually it's us people who are using it are giving value on it, it's not about the physical thing or whatsoever, it's about it's usefulness.
Bitcoin is not physical but yet we give value to it, from cents now to thousands, that shows it's very valuable and it's very useful to people.
Maybe those who do not understand and does not believe in bitcoin will judge bitcoin as no value, but we who believe can debate on that and we will continue risking our money in bitcoin believing in the future, our money will increase its value.

Correct, many still don't know and understand bitcoin that is why it has no value for them but for those of us whose been using it for quite along time now and also benefited from it can testify that bitcoin is far more valuable that paper money. For me risking in bitcoin or cryptocurrency is worth it, I don't have regrets in investing, I just trust bitcoin so much that it will continue to increase its value.

This is what ignorance bring to people, they easily judge something like bitcoin without knowing what it is and what bitcoin can do. We can't really blame them, they haven't experience the good effects of bitcoin unlike us who's been using it for awhile. I also trust that bitcoin will continue to increase it's value, don't really care what others think about bitcoin but as for me so long as i'm doing good with my coins then i'm ok. Sorry if 'm being selfish but i'm just so fed up with all the non-sense that most people say about bitcoin and I tried to educate people about bitcoin but they all got something to say so can't do anything anymore, maybe they'll just realize soon the opportunity that they missed..
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018 on: May 30, 2019, 11:07:21 AM
If you really want to make money then find a decent job, or build your own business. Gambling can never be a source of income. The question is, how often do you gamble this year? Is there any fund which is intended only in gambling? Do you empty it and get on other funds? Do you quit when its time to quit? If you dont have discipline then most likely you will fail. 10 BTC is hige and its impossible that you didnt win with all that stuff.

Very well said! Gambling should only be for fun and not a full time job because we already know it is pure luck, no matter what you do the chance of winning is low and don't gamble most especially if you don't have the resources to do it. I think this is very common to most people who are desperate in having a better living, they tend to gamble in the hope to win and double the money but failed to realized the consequences of gambling and worst case is they get easily addicted to gambling. Self discipline on the other hand, is indeed very important because if you don't have discipline you'll become greedy and probably lose everything as a result.
1758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the time traveller’s “2019 BTC price” become true? on: May 30, 2019, 07:42:43 AM
Its a matter of what you believe ,you don't need a time traveler to predict the future for you and you don't need to go back in the past the opportunity is still here right now

Indeed, I don't really believe in time travels and him predicting that bitcoin will reach $100k, that's too good to be true.  Besides, it doesn't matter if you're only able to invest now because it is still an opportunity, it isn't too late for everything and given todays market market performance you can still get profit and catch up there's no need to go back to old times.
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things all gambling websites/apps/games should have? on: May 30, 2019, 06:57:05 AM
I'm curious to know what you all feel are the most important features of gambling websites/apps/games?

I think everyone was so busy that they didn't try to understand your question. I am mentioning some of the most important features every gambling website should have:

* Provably fair is a must.
For all of us, we need to have all our bets verifiable at their website through a provably fair page that gives genuine results after hashing it with the bet ID and seeds.

* Instant withdrawals.

* Respect privacy and shouldn't ask for KYC 'except in some affairs'.

* Dynamic website with least lags.

* Tournaments to allow users to play more and win even more in the competitions.

These are indeed very important things that a gambling sites should have but you also forgot to mention promotions or freebies as well to get not only the gamblers attention but also other people. Also it is also an edge if a gambling site will have a customer support that we can contact, chat 24/7 in case if we encounter issues while gambling and gambling should be appealing to the eye and fun for players to enjoy.
1760  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the market on: May 30, 2019, 05:36:37 AM
For some reason, I am having second thoughts about the stability of bitcoin being an instrument to global or mass adoption. The price of bitcoin has been fairly stable this year despite the small drop every couple of weeks. But have we seen more people joining in? Maybe something else needs to happen so people will be encouraged to start using bitcoin because stability does not seem to be working at this moment.

That’s true! A lot of people are still skeptical in investing into bitcoin maybe because of the non-stop controversy and the bad image of bitcoin being a scam. Though more and more people is drawn to bitcoin nowadays most especially because some big companies is starting to accept bitcoin, I know it already been long that we all been waiting for the bull run to happen but with the current market and demand of bitcoin it may take probably months or even year which I don't know for sure, in my end I still trust bitcoin and the bull run will eventually happen.
