1621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont be dumb gamblers on: June 18, 2019, 09:04:55 AM
The fault was totally belongs to your friend why playing at the casinos which don't have reputation and when decide to play at the particular casinos it should not be done with rush because research is necessary to ensure playing at legit casinos and don't ever tempting for big bonus if the casinos which offering those bonus brand newbie of have no reputation because possibly they will attempts to scamming people

Exactly, bonus in casinos are random and if in case they decide to offer bonuses it's not that big so if a casino or a gambling site offers big bonus you should step back and think twice, is the bonus too good to be legit are what, if it is too good for a bonus then don't jump right to end because you will only loss money. Research should be done first before entering into something to make sure you don't put your money on something that is a scam.

I don't know about you... But ever since I got involved in Bitcoin

I have become Paranoid  Lips sealed

I don't trust many people and my saying is this: "Everything is a Scam until proven Otherwise"

This is a good practice in ensuring the safety of your investments but being too paranoid may only stress you out. It's okay to be cautious but not too much because it will only eat your brain, just saying. Anyways, the bigger the community adopting bitcoin a big change of increase in scam as well but as holders it is very important that we safeguard our own assets on our own instead of relying on someone else or in a system because nothing is perfect and scammers can still see loopholes.
1623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finders are scams! Epic roast... on: June 17, 2019, 03:50:23 PM
It's good that you have outsmarted those scammers and didn't fall in their trap. Hopefully all newbies are as smart as you so that scams like this will be reduced.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: June 17, 2019, 11:31:28 AM
I think there is no concrete definition of "Success in gambling" because nobody knows when a gambler becomes a successful gambler. Cheesy. Maybe if a gambler achieves something that a normal gambler can't achieve then somebody can say that the gambler is successful already.

I think it depends on how a person define success in gambling, it could be that a gambler is successful in terms of controlling himself not to be addicted to much to gambling, it could be that a gambler is successful because he was able to save his deposit and at the same time gain profits, or another could be that a gambler is successful because he is able to completely quit gambling addiction. There's a lot of reason to be successful it just depend on how we look at it. In terms of gambling some may find success some may not see any success but what's important is not to be greedy when it comes to gambling because it will not result to good outcome.
1625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any knows the mathematical formula to winning the lottery? on: June 16, 2019, 06:34:31 PM
Have you gambled lottery?
Why Mathematicians aren't riches now in gambling since they know and expert in equation solving finding the x value?
Equation solving in Mathematics are helpful to finds or pick the numbers, how did you know if it is even or odd numbers in right combination?
Is the binomial coefficient formula will really help you to find the right winning combination?

Share your thought here and let's discuss this. Cheesy

There's a lot of alleged formula about the lottery that is selling in the market in the past, but all of these were faked, it's hard to do a perfect combination to hit a jackpot, it's hard to formulate one, even a great computer cannot come out one, he can only come out a statistics but never the exact result.

That’s right, some are claiming it's a guaranteed win if they follow the formula but I haven't heard someone who really won buy using those alleged formulas, I heard some used them to see if it works but sad to say it's all bluff. No matter what formula you use it is not an assurance that you will win.
1626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: June 16, 2019, 06:19:00 PM
I think something excess is not good. Eating, drinking, especially working excessively will definitely cause disease. My advice, you have to make a work schedule and provide enough rest time.
It means it is all depends on us. And trading is not unhealthy, but our lifestyle is what make it unhealthy. If we make it balance with eat, rest and maybe do an exercise that only need not much time, we can be healthy.

Exactly, it all depends in us, if we don't take breaks, don't have balance or moderation in trading then it can be unhealthy. Trading is a good way to earn money but don't overdo it because it might cost your health or worst is life. Also it is good to take breaks from trading from time to time to avoid getting greedy and be carried away with emotions.
1627  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is margin trading worth checking out? on: June 16, 2019, 05:56:47 PM
For me, yes it is worth checking out and if you know how trading works and knows how the market is moving then you can go with margin trading to increase your winning capital but if you aren't sure yet about crypto trading then better don't enter in margin trading.
1628  Economy / Economics / Re: Supply and demand curve analysis, why Bitcoin does or does not change price. on: June 16, 2019, 04:33:51 PM
Basing things in charts couldn't predict the future of Bitcoin.
The market s unpredictable and sudden changes are occuring without our control.
There are whales who could manipulate the prices in one move and there will be dumpers who will do panic selling so no matter how we predict things, prices will still remain unpredictable.

Exactly, it is one bad side in bitcoin trading because whales have ways to manipulate the prices to the point that some traders and investors will do panic selling, yes we can see an increase now to $9k but we cannot assure that it will continue to do so, a lot of predictions has been out but we cannot be sure if it will really come true. We'll just have to wait what's going to happen hopefully the price will continue to go up.
1629  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: June 16, 2019, 04:20:15 PM
Bitcoin is Finite no matter how long it takes bitcoin will eventually ran out one day but before that happens a new cryptocurrency will probably emerge that will be able to replace bitcoin. it may not be as good as bitcoin but it will be the one who continue the Bitcoin legacy.
Amused with all the responses here, if you really think that bitcoin will eventually be replaced by another coin then no one in the right might out would invest in anything that will eventually run out  Tongue. Bitcoin is here to stay and nothing is going to replace it and it will not run out of coins, in the beginning some people lost their coins because they were not serious about storing the keys as it has no valuation and that is not the situation now.

bitcoin isnt the only coin that people are investing with because there were tons of coins out there and they are not as good as bitcoin but they can still be used for money making purposes in the form of trading or investing and yes bitcoin will soon run out of supply but that does not mean that bitcoin will eventually dissapeared in thin air . there will still be bitcoin that will circulate  . people will sell and buy bitcoins again and again and it will be a never ending cycle .

Agree, even if all bitcoin will be mined it will still circulate in the market, in my understanding if we say bitcoin will disappear that means that no one will use and that countries prohibited the use of bitcoin but considering bitcoins popularity these days, I don't think no one will use and also with the price hit $9k, more investors will come out.
1630  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: June 16, 2019, 03:45:14 PM
Well it just hit 9k. I have no idea how high it can go this year though I'm not holding my breath. It'll have to reach back to 20k for me to at least consider selling.  Grin

That's right, it just hit $9k same as the predictions and we can't tell if it will continue to rise, was lucky to be able to buy btc when it dropped and $9k was already a good number but I jut hope it'll rise up to $20k. Regarding the trend it may somehow the same in 2017 at some point but I think we can't conclude yet, its just half way through
2019 so hopefully this yea will be a little better.
1632  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Very important tips in digital currency trading on: June 16, 2019, 03:08:06 PM
You posted on a wrong thread mate. It should be on the trading discussion section which is obviously stated in your topic. But anyways, the most difficult part of trading is controlling your emotions. All of your decisions are affected by what you feel and decisions is very critical in terms of trading.

Exactly, decision is the most critical because if you make a right decision then a big chance that you will win but if you happen to make a wrong move or decision, it can be very stressful depending on the damage that decision has made. Also I don't advise letting you feelings or emotion decide because it's not always right, make sure facts are your basis instead of intuition.
1633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: June 16, 2019, 02:52:30 PM
Just try to listen some music or watch movies (i recommended to see comedy movies ) that's make myself better  Grin

That’s right, music can somehow help your mind relax and when you are relax then you can think correctly. Movies can be good too in relieving stress it’s up to you what would you prefer. If trading is becoming stressful then take a break so that you will not make any mistakes. Just relax by listening to music or watching comedy movies.
1634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: failure to gain profit on: June 16, 2019, 10:46:05 AM
Cryptocurrency trading is very volatile that is why if done correctly and accurately then it can give you huge profits but along side with it, is also higher risk because the crypto market can be very unpredictable, you can't really tell when the price is gonna rise or fall down. I think the best thing you can do is review your trades previously for you to see if there are things that you need to work on and continue to study the market deeper for you to at least have clearer pattern despite the market being so unpredictable.
1635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Excessive confidence in cryptocurrency trading. on: June 16, 2019, 10:31:44 AM
Being confident with your trading style is okay but being overconfident is I think not advisable in cryptocurrency trading, the crypto market is very unpredictable that your strategy may not always work, you may need to make few changes of your strategy from time to time. Excessive confidence could only be a reason a trader may lose more.
1636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is better? Forex or crypto currency trading? on: June 15, 2019, 08:15:37 PM
Both can be good investments but in choosing which one is better depends on the investors, they are almost the same in the sense that it involves exchanges from one currency to another but the market is different, for crypto it is more volatile than forex trading thus it can give higher chances of profits but it is also unpredictable which made it riskier than forex trading. If you are a person that is a risk taker then go with crypto but if you aren’t much of a risk taker then better play it safe with forex trading.
1637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this the ideal time to buy Bitcoin? What do you think? on: June 15, 2019, 07:36:02 PM
The best time to buy bitcoin is when it’s at a lowest price for you to gain profits, today’s price of $8600 is a good amount to buy if you are going to wait for the bull run but that would mean it could be months or even years after buying it because we really can’t tell when its gonna happen but if you want short term then wait for the price to go down a bit before buying.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Theymos start gambling now? on: June 15, 2019, 07:06:22 PM
We don't know who really that is since we can't conclude that that is theymos, this forum's asmin that quickly. Names can be used by anyone especially on the internet. It is like a decentralization of usernames and you don't know which is which. To be honest, I am shocked at that huge amount wagered, though I don't think that is really him.

That’s right, it could be someone using the same name as the bitcointalk admin, I think theymos has no time to gamble because I think he is too busy doing a lot of things but if indeed it’s him then let it be besides it’s his coins his gambling with.
1639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be careful with fake exchanges on: June 15, 2019, 02:34:54 PM
In recent time so many scam exchanges are available in the market and investors are losing their projects by using those exchange. So before trade you need to careful about the exchange.

Indeed, scammers are widespread on the internet trying to create exchanges that is very similar to the legit one so that trader can’t find the difference. So trader should be very cautious when it comes with exchanges and make sure he is not routed to a fraud site.
1640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you lose your confidence as an investor? on: June 15, 2019, 11:52:16 AM
The sudden rise (from the very beginning of 2018) to fall (end of 2018 and still continuing), did you have the courage to hodl your coins and have your confidence intact just as before? Or did the extreme hustle of the bearish markets ended everything for you and even compelled you in such a way that you're now no more going to put anything in cryptocurrencies? Do you think this is an opportunity itself or is this going to end up hard in grave like most of the best ICO projects of whose tokens got dumped down to even 1/20th their ATH?

P.S.: This is just a poll, so don't take it as a measurement to decide whether to remain and/or invest in crypto or not.

I would be lying if I said that my confidence hasn't taken a big kick in the teeth but it is still intact. I have held throughout this bear market and will continue to do so because I do believe in crypto and that the market overall will recover. A lot of alt-coins will never return to past ATHs but that's in my opinion for the best.

That's right, every trader may lose confidence whenever the market price will go down it's normal I guess and everyone has been waiting for the bull run to happen they said it was last year then it didn't happen, and then another speculation is this year it will definitely happen but despite all these speculations we really can't be sure that it will really happen, in fact when we started June this year there was a drop to $7100 but good thing it went back to $8600 today, I just hope it will continue to rise in the coming days and hopefully the bull run we all been waiting for will really happen.
