1881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin gambling on: May 16, 2019, 12:10:04 AM
Well, if you're is lucky then you can gamble for a living but if you're not sure then better not to because you might loss everything. Gambling is something that you can only do for leisure time and if you have extra money because if you do it for a living it'll just give you a lot of stress when you're not winning. Regardless whether you use bitcoin to gamble or not nothing is safe from losses, once you enter gambling you have to be prepared to losses.
1882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont be dumb gamblers on: May 15, 2019, 11:40:28 PM
It's your friend fault then, randomly gamble on random gambling site from google and not searching or review first lol.

Talk to him, don't always trust whatever come from google result lol. It's not always safe, rip $200. There are so many online gambling, so be careful folks!

Correct, considering a lot of scams online nowadays, it's not advisable to gamble on any other sites without checking if it's legit or not. Maybe the friend is so trusting that he didn't think of anything else but to gamble only. It's surprising though that he can't remember the site when most of scammed people can't forget anything that ripped them off.  Shocked
1883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Merchants Now Accepting Bitcoin on: May 15, 2019, 03:33:37 PM
Wow, good to know that some big merchants have been accepting bitcoin as payment, it is really a big leap for bitcoin to be known to other consumers as well. With this move, people will be interested in bitcoin and I guess it will also be the time that other people will know what bitcoin really is and how it can help improve of lives.
1884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: May 15, 2019, 02:53:45 PM
Gambling can really be more profitable but of course nobody knows how long you can hold on that profit as the greed will take you in the long run.

That game is very tricky and really an addicting game, that you will just win by pure of luck and no need for you to study. If you don’t know how to control yourself, then expect to lose more money. Its better to enjoy the carnival, than to make serious playing on that place.

I agree, it is more of having control or discipline in your self not to be addicted to gambling because if you will let your greed take you then there only two possibilities, one is if you’re that lucky then you’ll win and have profits but second, if you not that lucky then you’ll lose more that what you intend to. Its ok to enter gambling just know your limits and have control of you mind to avoid major losses.
1885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: May 15, 2019, 01:52:43 PM
As for me, I spend around 2-3 hours I guess, it actually depends on the trend of the game, if i’m on a winning streak it would take almost 3 hours but if I started on a losing streak and I realize i’m not recovering anything then it would be an hour or less every day in the past but now i’m trying to control myself and do it only on my rest days about 2-3 days a week with maximum time spent of 1-2 hours. I tried to keep it under control now to minimize my losses.
1886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: May 15, 2019, 01:12:37 PM
To be honest, for me it is very hard to resist if you’re already addicted to gambling, for me there are very few times where I can resist not to gamble, I tried to divert my attention to something else but in the end still end up betting. It seems that something is saying I should bet on this and that maybe I’ll get lucky today and win, but now i’m really trying my best to resist it because I’ve lost quite a fortune already and the more I try to recover those losses the bigger it gets. I guess it just have to do with your determination of you really want to resist it or continue.
1887  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: May 15, 2019, 12:45:59 PM
Hello every body.I am a Newbie. I joined Crytopia about four months ago. I hold ont and dog Now I want to practice to trade .Please help me give some idea for Newbie as me, I should trade or not? I really want to receive the instruction of the go-ahead, thank a lots.  Kiss Kiss

I think you have first to spend some time learning more about trading, before making your first trades. This field is profitable only if you have the good skills to analyze the market, the charts, and to study the market. Without this knowledge, the risk of loss will be higher.

I agree, it is better for you to familiarize first how trading works and I believe there’s a lot of articles online that you can study on. Trading can be a good way to earn money but it has risk as well of losing most especially if you’re not familiar with how it’s supposed to be done. Also, it’s okay to start as early as you can so that you can practice and the more you’re expose to trading the better you’ll get.
1888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you think so please stop! on: May 15, 2019, 11:21:39 AM
Seriously though, if you see one, just scroll past it. You're just wasting your time getting your emotions getting negatively affected by it.

Correct! I think those people are just jealous that’s why they’re saying that, no matter what you do you can’t please everyone, there’s always someone who will say something bad about you or about what you’re doing, I think it’s better if you’ll use it a your motivation to be better even more and let them eat their words. Just do what you have to do and don’t let those negativity affects you.
1889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: May 15, 2019, 10:53:14 AM
I play different games mostly card games like tongits, and blackjack and but i’m super into slot machines - I don’t but I really find it very entertaining.  Cheesy I tried poker in the past since I have friends whose been playing poker but I really don’t understand how its done, in return I lost many times.
1890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: May 15, 2019, 08:44:46 AM
Whether we like it or not greed is in human’s nature, in their effort to earn money they choose to gamble because it’s where they can win big time without thinking that they can also lose more than what they have. We all have this mindset wherein we tend to always gamble even beyond our spending because of the hope that one day will win, not realizing that it already came to a point of being addicted to it.
1891  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be worthless? on: May 15, 2019, 06:18:09 AM
Bitcoin has been very successful for a couple of years now and I think it is impossible that it will become worthless unless if no one will not want it. Bitcoin had helped a lot of people already and it is very impossible that no one will not want now most especially bitcoin trend is very promising as of this time.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: May 15, 2019, 05:38:19 AM
I'll go with to earn money, most of the people I know gamble to earn money, they try there luck in gambling to improve their way of living. It's like thinking that gambling is the only way for them to improve when in fact, not most of them are lucky enough to win in gambling. But I think it still depend on who gambles whether they do it for fun, to earn money or to relieve stress.
1893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: May 15, 2019, 03:25:16 AM
A perfect solution does not exist because people will always find ways to cheat the system regardless of the level of security they have to break. Blockchain might not be the perfect solution but as it stand now I think it is the best solution for the security of our money and identities. Of course like everything else there is still some improvement and adjustments we need to make but right now it's definitely better than what the governments are using.

I agree, there's always room for improvements and as far as blockchain technology is concern it has proven to have helped in securing our money and identities for years now. I think blockchain the best solution for now but we don't know yet in the coming years, maybe someone will create another technology better that blockchain.
1894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what we can buy with bitcoin ?? on: May 15, 2019, 02:14:50 AM
I think you can buy anything with bitcoin but not using the bitcoin currency though. I only know few online stores who accepts bitcoin currency as a payment but almost all only accepts fiat money, so if you want to buy something you convert it to fiat and buy something. Maybe in the future if all will adopt to bitcoin then we can use it to purchase anything.
1895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: May 15, 2019, 01:40:55 AM
Gambling losing streak,

I’m into gambling for about months now, and in my first game I was able to generate profit enough to be happy, I continued for the rest of my 4 weeks of playing, sometimes its breakeven but I know its ok.

My friend invited me to play with him in casino this time, I have enough money to play for so I decided to say yes. Bad luck comes to me this time, at first my loss was about $500, so I know it is still fine and decided to continue, but the moment we stopped I think its too late now since I’ve already loss $3000, a very bad day for me. I’ve lost the money I’ve worked hard for.

This is an eye opener situation for me, and I’ve realized that gambling was slowly eating my brain and my money. Now I’m broke but still kickin, this can be the proof that chasing your losses is not good at all and it should be avoided. Have the same experience with me? Don’t hesitate to share and give some thoughts for those who are suffering from sitution like this.  Sad
That's the mistake that every user does while they're new to the gambling. They don't analyze about the good and the negative effects. From the post it is clear that he have accompanied his friend, which is good. At the same time he should be clear about the games as well the winning probabilities and losing chances. Just because you won the first game can't expect the same to happen longer.

I agree, this is mostly the mistakes of gamblers, they tend to bet higher after winning the first game, they think it will be a winning streak but in the end it turns out to be a losing streak and they lose more that what they won. Also as a newbie it would be best if they bet with small amount or maybe observe first how the game goes instead on betting right away even without knowing how the game works. Gambling is not a joke that you can just bet and bet and rely on luck because that would mean you'll lose more that what you can afford.
1896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I spend the daily expense by playing gambling? on: May 15, 2019, 12:06:15 AM
That is how it should be in theory however we have seen many persons started gambling with extra money but soon after they were grabbed by addiction and they lost not only daily expenditure but much more than that.

That is why it is better to not gamble at all in the first place if you ask a question like can I soend daily expenses for gambling.

I agree, they got addicted most especially if they win big time, they think that if they continue gambling they can get positive returns all the time, some who are lucky enough may win but not all the time, most of them end up losing more that what they have in their pocket. Thus, it is not advisable to spend your daily expense just to gamble, it's better to bet only based on what you can afford.
1897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: May 14, 2019, 04:32:17 PM
It is more of skills rather that luck because if your skilled enough in playing poker then you'll know the decisions to make. Luck on the other hand, it's like playing with your instinct and not really thinking it is a good move or not. And it is true that the more you're exposed in playing poker the better you'll get because you'll be able to learn the pattern and come up with strategies along the way.
1898  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: May 14, 2019, 04:11:31 PM
I guess not, yes at some point those who take big risk can also get big profits but there are also small traders who were lucky enough to hit big time even with a small amount of investments. I really think it is not more of how much you invested on something, I guess it more of the strategy one use to turn things around regardless whether you invest big or small.
1899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rising, Scams Rising on: May 14, 2019, 03:30:59 PM
It's already given, when scammers notice that bitcoin price is getting higher then they will do everything in their capability to scam people. Scam is everywhere, scam is not only present for bitcoin even for other currencies. So we really have to be cautious all the time and don't trust on flowery words right away.
1900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: May 14, 2019, 12:59:33 PM
You broke means you gamble over your own limit, all gambler will say similar thing once they lost over their own limit. This is why it is very important for us to gamble what we can afford to lose only. Nothing you can do now except admit your own mistake and move on. Don't even think to recover again because you may get on deeper loses.

I agree, I guess this happens to almost all gamblers in an effort to get back the losses, I think they don't intend to gamble more than what they have they're just trying to recover the losses but still didn't have the luck instead they lose more. I think it is better to rest for a while from gambling instead of pushing in getting back those losses because you might lose again even more.
