2441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin teaching approach on: May 03, 2022, 08:39:41 PM
I don't know what to expect from the students, any suggestions will be appreciated.
Then don't expect something in return, as least you have done your part and let those students understand what bitcoin is and let their imaginations run wild. You might hear questions that you might find interesting, and take note of the name of the students asking. Maybe in the future, those are the ones going to be crypto enthusiast and who knows, become CEO of crypto projects. Anyhow, good luck to you and hopefully it will really excite majority of them on the subject of bitcoin and crypto in general.
2442  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed rate hikes too small to have real long term impact for the markets on: May 03, 2022, 07:49:05 PM
Not sure about the stock, but it seems the market has been shaken and weed out of weak hands again as the price goes to $37k and there could be more selling off with regards to this news.

We all know that the market is really sensitive with this kind of news, although as you have said, it is small, but I guess it will still have impact on the market short term as we might see another all time lows in the coming weeks.
2443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may likely pull back to 35k on: May 03, 2022, 07:15:02 PM
In theory, a lower-than-expected drop could happen at $35k but the best resistance to retracement action doesn't extend as we close the April candle at $37k.  This is still a good price for round trip over $47k in May.  Market behavior is diversified by unhealthy sentiment.  We hardly see the start of a trend consolidation but rather a battle against the market reaction before the next bull run.
It will take more months or year to see another bull run, for now, bitcoin needs not break another level of dip to see upto how much it can bounce back and how fast ot can. The fact that BTC is able to recover anytime will only be possible of there are good news that will kick it’s price up, but with market current status and news around the world, with war and new implementation of making the fees higher in some countries makes crypto more into bear season. Once the market recover or if there os atleast a positive news that can uplift the price to not break a new level of dip.
Years, I doubt that this year we might see a good price. And it could be worst in 2023, maybe but that time, we might see the price is capitulation.

And that could be the signal that we might be seeing the end of the bearish market. But so far in 2022, like others said, we might see the price really going down hard, currently at $37k, but I'm not surprised if the price will have like $35k or less at the end of the month.
2444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk, Mark Cuban Discuss Using Dogecoin to Solve Twitter Spam Problem ! on: May 03, 2022, 12:44:24 PM
To solve the spam, maybe he will require and mandate KYC. But I'm not sure how Dogecoin will involved on this one.

Most probably, both just wanted to hype Dogecoin again obviously. Elon Musk obviously bought Twitter recently, we all know that. But I'm not sure what Mark Cuban is up to, he used to be hard nose on crypto and If I'm not mistaken, is against it like years ago.
2445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miami Heat vs Philadelphia 76ers - 2nd round (Let's discuss) on: May 03, 2022, 12:21:04 PM
Even though the 76ers lost, you have to give it to them. At one point they took a good lead from the Heat and started to get hot. However, the defense has tighten up and Harden can't carry the load of the team. So still the Heat will be the favorite to win in this series and could probably go up 2-0 in the next game as they have the momentum with no Joel Embiid for the 76ers.
2446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 03, 2022, 11:58:46 AM
^^ I don't know, not sure if we can compare though, the impact of the war though. Anyhow, I might agree that it's too hash to ban those players. I even read that Russians and Ukrainian women's players who used to be "friends" started to ignore each other in the Madrid Open. I guess everyone is really taking it hard, this war doesn't really bring out anything even in sports.
2447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto moving into world. Algo sponsor FIFA on: May 03, 2022, 11:19:58 AM
It's a win-win, if they can developed a blockchain, a customized one for FIFA using Algo then this could set a trend.

On the other hand, this is the biggest sporting event, so people around the world who might not heard about Algo or crypto in general might be curious and who knows, maybe just a small percentage of fans will be enough to bring crypto to the public, hence mass adoption.
2448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA _ Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks - 2nd round on: May 02, 2022, 10:08:51 PM
Might be better if we have a poll?

We always wanted to see a good underdog beating the top seed in this series. And Mavs is capable of that because of Luka. And now that they have improved this season and doesn't have players that under perform like KP, I think their chances are high and maybe they will force the Suns to adjust to their game. And so I'm hoping for the underdog to win - Dallas.
2449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trustable currency on: April 30, 2022, 11:24:35 AM
Guys, Can you really name the coins/tokens that you trust the most?
Just look at the top ten altcoins and you can deduce that they have the reputation, so I would say that you can trust them. Specially like ETH who have been the top altcoins and then some others like BNB, SOL, ADA and DOT. There could be others though not in the top 10, but investors would rather invest on projects that are really solid like the one that I mentioned above.

Let's hope that this is the beginning of Raducanu's return to the top of women's tennis   Grin
I was a little surprised by the news that she changed coaches again, only after a few months:
Source:   https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/61226768
I thought that it was discussed before, that's why I didn't post about Raducanu changing coach again for the N time.

It tells me in a way about her insecurity in a way.
Does anyone follow this sad story about a once great tennis champion who went bankrupt, broke the law and goes to jail?
A sad ending for the great tennis champion and role model for many young tennis players.

Source: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-61276378
I'm familiar with Boris Becker as has a great career as well. If I'm not mistaken, he was even hired as coach of Djokovic (correct me if I'm wrong). He has great battles with Ivan Lendl and other great tennis player in that era. So it's sad to see this kind of story about how he turn out to be after his tennis.
2451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 30, 2022, 10:08:56 AM
Grizzlies will be having the game of there life with GSW aggressiveness. I'm curious on far they can go against GSW.

We are going to find out soon, Grizzlies defeated the Warriors in the play-in, I think the Warriors here will be making their revenge. With a healthy Curry, Green, and Thompson, that's all that is needed to win the game. The good thing here is both teams could play small ball as they don't have long center.
Yeah, the numbers in the regular season is nothing in the playoffs as they are back to 0-0 and this is going to be a series. It's a healthy Warriors now, with a few upgrades from their last championship run, but the team remain the same with Curry, Green and Thompson and Iggy and Looney. And now they built a solid team with Wiggins, Poole, Payton, Lee, and Kuminga.
2452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where does your country stand ? on: April 29, 2022, 09:53:30 PM
Should i assume the accuracy of the data research that mentioned Australia as the best gambling country because I can't be sure of the prelocedures or means they arrived at this, possibly the rate amd numbers of gambling casinos and the involvement of the gamblers but the statistics couldn't be as accurate as expected all thesame, but i think this might still be a good directive by taking into consideration country's population, numbers of registered casinos, and as well as the rate of active gamblers on each casinos, why i said this is because i also as well sees my country to be one of the most active gambling country of which its not onnthe aboove mentioned list by OP
Isn't it obvious that will be the case then? There is also one thread about the number of slot machines they have, but I'm not sure about the statistics are far as online gambling though (fiat and crypto), but I will assume the numbers are also higher. A lot of surprises in the list, nevertheless, with the advent of pandemic, maybe the reason is that gamblers went online and there could be a set of gamblers who, because they are bored, just started to play online.
2453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is using 2fa safe in every way on: April 29, 2022, 09:23:00 PM
Using 2FA is a good layer of security and protection, but the thing is that the criminals can bypass this one as well. It seems that they are always one step of the game because they were able to get access to you account and unfortunately take all your hard earn coins. So I would say though, it's better than nothing, and you should protect your account with 2FA such as Yubikey.
2454  Economy / Speculation / Re: One more leg down on: April 29, 2022, 08:48:04 PM
Funny but true, and it just shows that btc prediction is more complicated than it sounds. As you have said, there's one famous model that predicts bitcoin to hit at least $100k this year but it didn't happen. And I don't think that we this is not the las time that we will hear this kind of terms, to somewhat 'misled', new comers in the market with such technicalities. I guess it's better if we stay away from this kind of crypto influencers specially in YT since obviously they really don't know what they are talking about. Just like you and me, they are making a wild and educate guesses.
2455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 29, 2022, 11:19:08 AM
I think it's time for Jazz players to move further as they tried 3 years with this team and nothing good came from it. Also , they should think very good that they had OT in their hands.
Not gonna like, Jazz is just another team with a lot of future but it seems that they don't have the perfect player to complement with each others.

As I have said, the ML line for Dallas is very attractive as I was able to bet at 1.90. And so I will agree that the core players of the Jazz will have to disband, time to rebuild the team, although I have to blame their coach here as we wasn't able to bring the pieces together.
2456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Davis vs Romero: May 28 on: April 29, 2022, 10:26:35 AM
^ He has a good chance to score a knock out as long as his hands are not to get broken again as compare to his last fight that's why he didn't score a knockout.

But you have to give Romero some respect of bad mouthing the champion, big balls and hope he can back his trash talk in the ring and not just fight to survived and get his biggest paycheck.

That is usually the case though, up and coming fighters wanted to trash talk the champion in order to generate a fight. I think Floyd Mayweather thinks that Romero is special that's why he is willing to have him fight Tank Davis.

So we will see come fight not, yes he has the balls, but we are not sure if he can back it up and make the fight very entertaining at least.
2457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 29, 2022, 09:47:02 AM
^^ Those games are really interesting and it's going hard to predict.

I love the Suns vs Dallas, will be interesting how the Suns is going to stop Luka with Bridges and Jae Crowder having that task.

And then CP3 against Brunson, of course CP3 will have the advantage but I think Brunson will excel in this series.
2458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A month of WAR on: April 29, 2022, 09:02:58 AM
If the war does not end in the coming months, the consequences of this will be felt by many countries, to which Ukraine exported grain, sunflower oil and other products. The United States should have made a decision much earlier on the supply of heavy weapons, this would have saved a lot of lives, civilians. And perhaps the occupiers would not be able to move so far from east boarder.
It is not easy to make these type of decisions. I mean UK just recently said that if Russia ever tries their hands with Nuclear weapons, UK will be ready to respond to that with their own Nukes as well. Giving that decision is a hard thing because you are telling the world that "if Russia kills people and hurts the global world by creating inhabitable places, then we will do the same!" which is a shame, the invention of nukes is a big shame.

This is why I believe that we should only make these type of statements, and these type of heavy machinery help, only when we have to and not a minute sooner. USA just felt that there was no other way and this was their only option left.
The UN though is trying to mediate between the two warring countries. and hopefully it will turn out to be positive because we don't want it to escalate into a full blown war when Putin is talking about not hesitating using nuclear weapons in order to win. So it's a lose-lose situation from both side, EU now turning into a battle ground with many casualties from both side.
2459  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance is getting frustrating on: April 28, 2022, 11:46:08 PM
Well this is not the first time though that people are complaining against Binance.

But what can you do? I mean they are just complying with the mandated KYC because government and financial agencies around the world are forcing top exchanges to follow this because of strict AML law. So I guess everyone who have been trading in Binance have undergone this proceeding. But as you have said, if you don't want to and would rather go with other exchanges, then it's your choice.
2460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 28, 2022, 11:25:00 PM
Donaire should continue to work harder, if he have train hard in his previous fight, he has to double it as Inoue as a monster is a different animal.
There's no doubt that he's doing it. He's a responsible and dedicated one and that's for sure that he's doubling his work at his training now. The discipline that he's putting into his training is a must.
This is like his last match before he retires so basically, he's going to give his all in on this match if not then he can still continue with another one win before he announces retirement.
Yeah, for sure he had trained harder before, but Inoue is too much for him. But after his lost, Donaire has bounce back and then won a belt.

So if Donaire is thinking about retiring, then definitely he wanted to end it with a good note and hopefully he can beat the best boxers in their division. Because he has done that during his prime and it seems that he has gotten his second wind. So he will focus more and train hard for this Inoue, if he falls short again, maybe time for him to retire for good.
