2481  Other / Meta / Re: ''Trusted New project'' section for Bitcointalk on: April 07, 2019, 06:46:39 AM
02 any person in the bitcointalk can review
Just by this alone is a flaw on the system. If anyone could review it then new projects would automatically be on the "Trusted New Project" section you are talking about. A lot of people will do fake reviews and shit just to stay in that section. And of course this would open up another avenue for people who wants to earn money by doing fake reviews, aside from people selling merits and post this thing would be the worst as they will be making shit up for other people to believe in that project. I do hope you understand that this is not a solution for any problem the forum is facing.
2482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TradingView tips and tricks on: April 06, 2019, 07:27:56 PM

I think the main problem here is the default chart of trading view uses a plain background followed by unpleasant candle colors which only uses a light red and green. Your customized chart with black and white candles are better but I am still not comfortable on seeing a white chart, it's too plain for me. So I guess it comes down to your own personal preference. The chart that I am used to has a gray background at the same time I use their brightest red and green candles, I also use borders for it.
2483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 06, 2019, 05:24:20 PM
Thank you for that comparative statistics Baofeng.

Still I do not like how Harden gets his points. The referees are getting softer when it is a Houston game and specially when Harden is playing.
Why is it that when it is Gianis that is playing they dont call that much even if he always going for a dunk. It is like 3 defenders going after him.
On the other side there is only one defender for Harden and he is the one moving forward just so to get a foul.
I think you can relate to it with Harden being an agile player, if you haven't notice it players who are quick tends to get many calls as referees always pay attention to what they are doing (or not doing) as they couldn't catch up on what is really happening. Seen a lot of examples where Harden got fouled just by someone hitting his beard or him just looking funny just by someone touching him all of them are bad calls and he is getting away with it for doing his part. For big men you don't get the same situation the most often time they get foul calls are when they are in the low post area and they'll only get called when they actually see a physical contact between the players while shooting.
2484  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-04]Blockchain Tech to Revolutionize Food Sector in Italy on: April 04, 2019, 08:35:31 PM
With the world running at a very high speed, it is estimated that by 2030, more than 70% of the existing jobs in Italy will no longer exist.

I just don't get the part on why the news article used this line first when its not about solving the job loss the country will face in the future. It's clearly about data transparency for their food products and it doesn't show any single hint about the job sector. To be perfectly honest  it might even be the cause for some to lose their jobs. If Italy is ready to do so then the cons may outweigh the pros of this project as clearly the food industry in Italy is big and a lot of jobs are on the line here.
2485  Economy / Economics / Re: what are hurdles for bitcoin based projects/investments on: April 04, 2019, 08:17:46 PM
The biggest hurdle might be you being unprepared on entering the crypto market. The biggest hurdle for any investor is the lack of knowledge when they first try to buy their first cryptocurrency because they think that cryptocurrencies is an easy way to earn money and all they need to do is to sit back and wait for it to grow. Now if the cryptocurrency is going down they don't have any kind of plan and of course their emotions will take over and do bad decisions for them. So for aspiring investors before you even try to buy your first crypto you must study first before entering the market.
2486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is the role of the government in the development of Bitcoin? on: April 04, 2019, 06:22:46 PM
For example, a government announces that it will accept Bitcoin in that country, so I'm sure the development of Bitcoin in that country will be very fast!

What do you think, the Government or the community who play an important role in the development of Bitcoin?!

It's not that easy as you think just by merely announcing that your country will support cryptocurrencies is way different if the government has really done anything to do with it. We have seen it in the past, a government will announce big project or give promises only to find out that there are actually no real developments backing it up. For the "development" to take place the government needs to really show the support physically by action and not only words coming out from their mouth.
2487  Economy / Speculation / Re: The good thing about having a bad market condition! on: April 04, 2019, 04:41:58 PM
If you are an investor or trader then you would absolutely love the bear market but if you are a consumer or a business owner then I don't think that the bear market will be your friend. Remember that the last bear market made a lot is businesses to pull out crypto payments as it was too volatile for them an its affecting their sales.  Also with this consumers or users are also affected as their BTC has less buying power compared to before and they are forced to hold it out in order for the prices to be acceptable again. So the bear market isn't really a good thing for some depending on how you looked at it.
2488  Other / Meta / Re: Lone Shark/ ChiBitCTy/ Limx Dev/ Am I unban material (The honeymoon guy) ?? on: April 04, 2019, 06:12:58 AM
Even if you aren't part of any signature campaign that time there is no excuse for the plagoarism you have done. A lot of newbies who aren't part of any sig campaigns are permabanned because of plagiarism why should the exempt or have another view towards you? Also if you think about it you still did plagiarism in order for you to earn money in the forum via airdrop which makes no difference in your line of reasoning. I don't know what's the extent of  theymos when he meant "case to case" but I don't think he will be accepting all the appeals he receives in the forum.
2489  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Idea - Ecommerce similar to Amazon.com + Shopify.com? on: April 03, 2019, 05:25:20 PM
I don't think that the large commissions is a problem that something can be fix by your idea. First off all the commissions handed down by the ecommerce platform is not always fixed most of the ti.e before even a reseller sales its items to the platform they will always enter into a negotiation first. So I really do think having an Amazon version 2.0 for you won't change anything. Another thing is you need to have loads of cash to even steal a market share and resellers from e-commerce giants. You need to have a better idea than this one.

I think the idea of just stealing from you is the market for cryptocurrency payments would be a start.

I'm going to make a demo of the project. I think they are this would give a clearer idea to the points I mentioned. For the truth it is difficult to expose an idea only in text. Visually, it would be better. Grin
Not really, the thing is we have a e-commerce website who is accepting Bitcoin and its name is Overstock, have you seen it overtaking Amazon or Alibababa and getting their market shares? We all know the answer and its a big NO, accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment method will just look like an option for a lot of people and the thing is they will always go to the popular ones with wide selection instead of just going to a website who just accept cryptocurrencies. Like I said you need to be realistic here as your project seems to need a lot of capital.
2490  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC now above $5k, seem like its not just a pump? on: April 03, 2019, 04:17:14 PM
I got a strong feeling that we will be having a strong test in resistance when we reach the 5,200$ level a break in this level if broken will just confirm that we are really in a bull run. Remember that the last time we visited the 5,200$ level BTC instantly got down to the 4,000 and 3,000$ level. For Bitcoin this might its biggest test and the whole crypto market is depending on the next price increase for the long awaited bull run to happen.

2492  Economy / Reputation / Re: 2 Legendary (1 green trust) 1 senior seems to be compromised/hacked/sold on: April 02, 2019, 11:35:27 AM
The strange thing here is if this was a hacked or bought account all three account would have changed their email or password by which all of them have not shown in their profile. I know the evidence is big against the accounts but I don't see the reason why the alleged account farmer will still be using the same email address and the same password. So I think the only way to prove that this is being played by one person is one of then have a mistake on putting some of his credentials on another one of his accounts.
2493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to minimise the trading fee? on: April 02, 2019, 03:42:47 AM
With all the reputable exchanges being highly competitive you don't need to worry about their fees anymore as they are similar to each other. The only way to outweigh the cost in your trade is by having a substantial amount to trade in, meaning you should have bigger capital in which chances are you will also have a bigger gain depending on your trade. This works as all the people have done it in the stock market before as they realize that if your gain offsets the cost of the trading fees wouldn't even be noticeable for their part.
2494  Economy / Economics / Re: South Africa, leading world in crypto adoption, a high-potential crypto market? on: April 02, 2019, 02:29:02 AM

Saw the list and I am surprised that both South Korea and Japan isn't even in the top 10 of the list. That even a country who is known for not being friendly in cryptocurrencies, India, is part of the top 10 either the survey is entirely inaccurate or we are missing something here as I really didn't expect first adopter countries would be so far in the range especially Japan who is almost at the end of the list.
2495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 4-year cycle is it real? Probable end year rally for Bitcoin on: April 01, 2019, 05:39:20 PM
Considering that the bearish market started right after Bitcoin's all time high which is December we aren't exactly a year past it by now as we are about 4 months behind from your current prediction. 16 months in a bear market just confirms as that the 4 year cycle you are talking about is not true for the most part, although I am willing to test it out as this could just be an extended bear market and we might see BTC go up anytime soon as BTC unlike before is steadily going back up above in a good fashion.
2496  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ⚠⚠️⚠~Beware on active phishing Electrum websites~⚠⚠️⚠ (Collection list updated) on: April 01, 2019, 03:29:40 PM
People also need to be aware that older versions of Electrum's software has been hijacked by hackers now which will block your attempt to send BTC and fool you on trying to install a "newer" vesrion of Electrum which is also fake as its just a phishing software trying to steal your seeds and private keys. Electrum hacks are almost everywhere as its a popular desktop wallet and I think Electrum should keep up on their monitoring to avoid potential losses from their clients.
2497  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-31]U.S SEC Suspends Verdict on Bitcoin ETF Proposals to May 16 on: April 01, 2019, 06:30:06 AM
So what's still new with this news? Because I wasn't surprised at all that they announced another 45 days of extension for the proposal. Before the latest deadline they said last December that February was the “final deadline” for the announcement which never happened and it took them more than a month just to announce a brand new deadline. By the looks of it this thing won't be going anywhere anytime soon. They'll just find another reason to delay/extend it more.
2498  Other / Meta / Re: KYC now required on: April 01, 2019, 03:30:41 AM
Now I am really curious if some of the members here didn't get the April Fools' prank, got fooled and submitted their credit card information already. If theymos received a lot of this then we might know who the members who can easily be scammed in the forum. I did submit my KYC requirements and the verification process was fast, here is the additional requirement you are asking for the extended verification.

2499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Animated Series 'Bitcoin and Friends' Make Bitcoin Fun Again? on: March 31, 2019, 04:58:47 PM
If you are talking about "Fun" the only thing I could think off is having a huge gain from Bitcoin not unless this cartoon made it happen I don't think it can make Bitcoin fun again. Speaking off the cartoon itself I think that there is that poor-man's Arrow vibe showing to it and I guess it will pass to the general audience who are adults watching it, the only thing I can think off is that it will only be bearable for people who are already into Bitcoin or the cryptocurrency industry.

The only thing that made it funny was the semi-accurate depiction of Vitalik lol

I wonder if he'll come after the creators and sue them..
The cartoon is fun in a sense of the humor behind it, them showing a man buying drugs in on a ice cream truck shows subtle hints related to Bitcoin's early past even if the man didn't show he is buying the drugs with Bitcoin. But for the "fun" the OP is asking in his title I don't think it will reach to that level I am referring too as this is just merely a cartoon that I don't think personally can change the price of Bitcoin.
