1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How blockchain can solve ticket fraud and secondary market issues on: January 13, 2020, 09:22:34 PM
I don't think that is true in any way. Ticket fraud almost always happens on external platforms not related to the use of an app. They are always encountered in social media websites where a lot of scams happens. There is no actual “ticket” being sold but just the illusion of the seller having it making the buyer pay for it first rather than to think it through. Even with technology involve you can't stop these scams from happening as long as they have other outlets of doing it.
1482  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why I Like BigOne exchange on: January 13, 2020, 07:12:34 PM
Isn't that supposed to be the opposite thing you want to see on an exchange? Them offering unknown projects rather the ones who have been more established in the industry? Yeah sure you might see some gems once in a while on one of their listings but how many times will you pick up a junk just to score one time? That is why scam projects and pump and dump prohects always target small exchanges  as they are easier to enter and also exit as security isn't really their number one priority as well.
1483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency VS Forex on: January 13, 2020, 05:48:12 PM
I think you are in the assumption of the same banks you are talking about controlling fuat currencies are also the one who have developex digital currencies which is really a mistake on your part. Modt digital assets we have seen are controlled and created by independent companies/projects not working for the banks or their governments they simlly are creating cryptocurrencies to be used or invested by their users. Aside from that the firex market is way different compared to the crypto market in terms of volatility as well as the way it is being analyzed they aren't exactly the two things you want to compare with.
1484  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Get free marketing help for your project! on: January 13, 2020, 04:52:33 PM
The article you provided isn'y really a “free” marketing lesson it is rather a promotion for the marketing service you provide. Simply the article is built to endorse what you are doing and what your plans are to promote their project it doesn't show you how. Some sections where you say the obvious like “illustrations are better in Instagram rather than Medium” isn't really something you say in a case study as everyone knows it as a fact. If you only said the truth that this is a promotion for your service I wouldn't have criticize it.
1485  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTCsurveys.com — Take Surveys & Earn Bitcoin on: January 13, 2020, 03:23:29 PM
I have a lot of questions in mind that I was hopeful when I visit the website it will be answered but unfortunately you have one of those websites where you need to register first before you can even see anything other than the register page. So one of my questions on top of my mind is even if your country is part of those 53 recognized by you if that survey is region-locked they won't be able to answer that survey? Other than that how many surveys do you usually have and how many are added every hour? I want to know if your website is different compared to other services like you.

Most surveys are country-specific or exclude countries, so the results vary. Unfortunately, the current survey landscape is that more surveys and higher-paying surveys are available to North America and European countries. Within the past couple of years, survey demand for users in both the Middle East and in North Africa has spiked, so users in those areas are seeing more surveys and higher payout rates.

I'm in the United States, and right now, I have 30 surveys available. They all take between 4 and 20 minutes, and they all pay out between 4,060 and 51,520 satoshis. It totally varies how much are added every hour, but my offer wall of surveys will probably be 80% different in another hour.

That's the sad thing about paid surveys thecompanies interested on doing research are only paying their consumers in North America as its their own market and big companies are also located there. Maybe it is also their way to be more accurate with their test population on allowing it in the North America where if a survey has a diverse population the results will vary. I think to counter this you as a service would also need to market your service to domestic countries you specified which will be good on all parties.
1486  Economy / Economics / Re: Global Wave of Debt Is Largest, Fastest in 50 Years on: January 12, 2020, 10:26:56 PM
Debt in the form of foreign direct investment used for government infrastructure projects, state-owned enterprise projects, and the private sector, is very dangerous for a country because of the potential for foreign exchange losses.

I think the most recent example for this is what China is doing to other countries on what they so call "debt trap". The Chinese government will loan out money to countries they know that wouldn't be able to pay so when they default to that loan they will control the assets they have as collateral. This is how countries like China are taking advantage of other countries who are short in money and they are just losing more when their real aim is to just have a stable economy.

1488  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-01-04] New crisis in the Middle East: Good for bitcoin, bad for the world on: January 12, 2020, 07:46:11 PM
I can't notice a real correlation between crypto and geopolitical issue. Bitcoin is politically independent.

totally politically independent
to the extent that if it is banned in a certain country it doesn't affect it at all /sarcasm
there is always an influence , just do not overestimate the impact

Independent? If they are independent from politics why are the hodlers and businessmen are pushing for favorable laws when it comes to crypto? Why are they asking for help when it comes to scams and hacks happening in the industry? Why are ICOs, STOs, and other projects needs to be regulated and permitted in some countries before they can even offer it? They aren't independent whatsoever as Bitcoin and crypto in general won't have the success it wants which is mass adoption if our governments are not being on our favor. So really geopolitical issues can affect the crypto industry so as the other industries as it affects the demand and supply of everything it also affects the psychology behind the investors' minds.
1489  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ideas Needed for Easy and Passive Monthly Income * REWARD * on: January 12, 2020, 05:03:51 PM
If you are bored in the crypto market now what more "boringness" can other market bring to you? The crypto market is already the most volatile market we have and suggesting you to invest in other markets might not be suitable to you, investing in a casino's bankroll might not be ideal to you if you expect some kind of good return for your monthly investment. So maybe looking for another market might not be ideal for you at this moment and maybe just try to be successful in this one before you even venture out of it.
1490  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Report - ChipMixer.com on: January 12, 2020, 03:44:51 PM
Although, to be honest, not at all surprised by the actions of ChipMixer in this case. They have a pretty solid reputation for being fair and helpful. Excellent result for all concerned it would seem?
So the problem here is a problem during the operation of ChipMixer, right? And a lucky guy got some free money  Shocked Obviously, ChipMixer's solution is really cool, but will it happen in the future? I don't know much about this technique, but how does this error occur?

Well in cases such as this one where a service will be losing money I know they'll try to prevent it from happening in the future since scandals and accusations loke this are bad for their reputation. Simply no user wants to have a problem when it comes to mixing their crypto or not to have any problem at all when it comes to delays.
1491  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will Bitcoin cost this year? on: January 11, 2020, 09:53:55 PM
Last year? Don't you mean the year before that which is 2018? Because last 2019 we actually ended an 18 month long bear market and we managed to go up as high as 14,000$ before reaching that we went from 3,000$ to 8,000$ very quickly during that year and it had signaled the end of a bear market. The price  correction we are seeing now are a new signs of a bear market and even though we are now in the 8k mark I wouldn't say we are still ready or is it possible to go up that high today. Still things could change once we are near BTC's halving.
1492  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Report - ChipMixer.com on: January 11, 2020, 08:49:53 PM
It would really be much easier to convince the other members if you provided screenshots from the emails/conversation you have received from Chipmixer's customer support to remove some doubt to your scam accusation. Other than that I think they haven't “scammed” you in anyway but like you they are still figuring it out on what really happened with your transaction and identify on who's fault it is in the first place.
1493  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to start earning crypto? Bitcoin or altcoins? on: January 09, 2020, 09:16:55 PM
The question is do you have enough money to run and maintain operations if you plan on mining? Many people who have entered in the crypto industry doesn't opt out on mining since it has been harder to earn mined Bitcoin as well as the hardware for it are on a steep price and that is including gpus. So they tend to opt out on a much realistic approach and that is either trading or investing in hyips the latter is a bad idea since you aren't really investing in legitimate project but on a scam. If you really want to own crypto then this is a good way but you still need to learn how to trade before you enter the market. If you don't like risking the money then maybe doing some freelance work in exchange for crypto is a much ideal way for you.
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 09, 2020, 08:33:26 PM
Donald Cerrone denies feud with Conor McGregor, blames media for ‘digging for s**t’

“That’s just you media boys digging and shoveling for sh*t to bring up,” Cerrone told MMA Fighting. “That’s all that was. Conor hasn’t said anything bad about me so you’ve got to go get old sh*t out.”

https://www.bjpenn.com/mma-news/ufc/donald-cerrone-denies-feud-with-conor-mcgregor-blames-media-for-digging-for-st/

That's the media's way of over-exaggerating things to have some views in their website without it they won't earn anything and the bad thing about this is what lies they are spreading will become true when things will heat up on each one of them. However we all know that Connor McGregor is a loud-mouthed guy and he tends to mock his opponent and in the UFC things can heat up really fast especially when guys like Connor McGregor starts to talk trash so with or without the media's help McGregor is doing good on his own.
1495  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: GDPR Compliance in Europe is enough for users to trust with KYC info? on: January 09, 2020, 07:49:08 PM
Still, users in BITCOINTALK are not ready to trust our exchange. What can we as a start-up or any start-up do to make people trust us?

Basically you will literally start from nothing and hope for your first customers who "trust" you will give a good feedback in your service and hope that they will spread the word about you. Other than that time is really the thing that will only tell if you are to be trusted, if you keep up with a good clean record with your service then you will be a reputable service for them. Scandals and bad service is what you want to try to avoid especially as early as this time since this will just break your name. The compliance you have is a good start but it is really not everything for a service to be trusted you really need to dedicate a lot of time and patience for you to start having customers.
1496  Other / Meta / Re: Advertising exchange link on the post area. on: January 09, 2020, 06:53:28 PM
Since that user continuously adding same links on his/her most of post so it should consider as a advertisement. Hope moderators will take appropriate action.

Yeah this should be considered as advertising on a post since if you look at the posts he made on his own threads like this one you'll see that he really does not care about the topic he made but he cares more about promoting the website he is trying to show. Even that topic that are out of the topic he is trying to still promote the website. If he was only doing this kind of promotion on related topics and he does not do it blatantly then I think this can be allowable.

Can you give in some context behind the sample you have made? Does the pic have a story behind it or are there just random members you think that fit into each meme? I'm not into the forum politics that is why I don't know anything about this Roach guy and why the rest are huddled to him.

The Roach guy is claimed to be the biggest troll on bitcointalk by most of the guys with caps around, hence he is in the middle, if I understand this morden art.

He is the head-troll of the troll army, though I sometimes do enjoy things he writes, I can have an inner laugh with many moments, he doesn't wanna be funny or make me smile but some posts are just as crazy as it can get Cheesy

Oh.... I probably have not hanged around in the threads on where he is trolling but with how you described Roach I suddenly remember an old troll which was previously a merit source. I'm talking about digaran who was previously a good member but I think he suddenly lost it and got involved with a lot of beef which he replies uncontrollably. Although he have been inactive for a long time now he might be deserving in one of those spots.

1499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Pyramid Schemes are still Amongst Us on: January 09, 2020, 03:27:03 PM
Experience?  If you are looking for a way to fall into scam then looking for experience is one of the best ways to go. Experience like credentials, projects, accomplishments, and background history is something a scammer could easily fake and a lot of newbies can be fooled by this. Still looking at offers or earning potentials that are too good to be true is the best thing to spot a scam. Those high yield and fixed daily payments are something you need to see to identify it being a scam.
Maybe the author of the post under the team's experience meant her previous achievements. Maybe they have other projects that have been very successful and it would increase the confidence in such a team.

I don't think you understand what the OP is saying or you are reading the post correctly. He is basically saying to know a scam you must look at their experience to see if it is worth the shot which in any case isn't a good idea especially when you think about how scams fake their identity and credentials to fool a lot of people.
1500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Pyramid Schemes are still Amongst Us on: January 08, 2020, 08:20:39 PM
The most ideal approach to distinguish such schemes is to take a gander at the project's experience. Such projects will in general evade any perceived organizations or bureaus and have next to no undeniable foundation data, be very careful and limit your losses this new year, all the best.
