Probably yes. OP has more for sale apart from the 5 sold.

Could bitcointalk implement a Litecoin donation address for the forum?
Nah, we're not Litecointalk.

|
|
Uh, gold/PM's are an acceptable commodity for the world since god knows how long ago, but I don't see wars stopping yet...

According to OP here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=177994.msg1890717#msg1890717We will send BTC when 780 BTC is reached. Yes, please just post to request OP to increase your stake here - he'll be happy to do so. Please proceed with the payment after ragingazn628 gives to go-ahead. Please post the amount you'll be sending before sending the coins or sign your tx with your btc address to prevent others claiming your payment

hi JohnK, i will be sending btc on monday onto the add in this thread, please confirm that i will be able to vet chips in eu. another thing: most of buyers aren't interested in chips per se but rather working miner. is there any eta for those? i would prefer that, if someone will provide pcb and assembly service, my stuff is sent to the person providing such a service. i assume service will be provided for a fee. there is no need to duplicate work needlessly... br
Please confirm with OP before sending the coins. I assume that he will require the total amount to be pledged successfully before initiating the sending process. There's talks of people who offer such services; please follow the thread closely.

I have received the email from OP and I'll verify it when I get home. I'm on mobile currently. Thanks.
I confirm I have received the following from OP : 1. A scan of my driver's license. 2. A picture of me holding and showing my driver's license.

was there an escrow for those blades?
Nope. I trust that you can trust friedcat enough in this case - his mining shares pay out more than this in 1 week. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
|
|
|
I confirm that I have obtained an escrow request for OP and scyth3. I will be providing an escrow contract shortly when I get to my safe.
|
|
|
When do you anticipate having the address in place with John K?
The escrow address is given above in the signed contract.
|
|
|
hehe was it seriously 0.002 you are crying about ?
Yes I guess. Honestly sending such a small tx will be taxed with huge fees; I tested this last time and ended up needing to pay 0.01 in fees alone for a 0.001 tx. It's the network defending against spamming tx's. A new 'customer service' subforum might be needed now with the recent threads like this.

As a rule of thumb, NEVER pay for escrow services. Tipping someone doing it voluntarily is something different. If someone wants to be paid (usually a small amount), don't you think they'd be happy to take your "escrowed" funds as an additional form of "payment"? I say escrow ONLY w/mods or users with an extensive blemish free-trade history. I've posted somewhere else, but I will volunteer my escrow services. Do your due-diligence on me before you take me up on it though ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I do require a fee for more substantial trades now (50+BTC) to deal with the extended risk. An escrow that requires no fees for bigger deals is either someone who's really good(as he is effectively looking at negative ROI with the risk) or someone who will run if any problems arises. (getting hacked etc)

by the forum rules is mandatory everyone makes 5 posts of "spam" to be allowed to post where we want.
Even so, we all tryed to say something "usefull". And all in the newbies section, of course.
So, we are not spammers nor scammers.
We are of the IT course, all with legitimate accounts, legitimate e-mails, everything correct.
No, spam is not allowed. I tend to delete such posts when I see them in the newbie subsection.

@ JohnK and fpgaminer I am willing to provide JohnK with my identity with the following proof: 1. A scan of my driver's license. 2. A picture of me holding and showing my driver's license. 3. And if needed I can record myself with my driver's license so no suspicion of photoshop etc. When I started this group buy I did not expect any drama at all. My #1 goal for this group buy right now is to redeem myself from the past. Again I did not scam anyone it was a misunderstanding but looking back at what has happened I do realized that I did make a mistake. So I would like to follow through with this group buy towards a path of redemption. When you are on the internet, apparently nothing you cannot hide anything ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Without further a due we will start sending BTC to the escrow's address when we hit ~600 BTC. JohnK let me know what and how I need to sign to get rid of any possible discrepancy. Thanks. Put me down for 5 BTC. I may increase that stake later.
added I'm in for 2.028 BTC. (26 chips) Please add me to the list.
added Confirmed. The ID and verification information can be sent to my personal email listed with my GPG key above (the.john.is.here -at- gmail) As for signing, I am not sure what you can sign here - if you have an OTC account with GPG, you can use that to sign your message here. I am signing to prove that I control this account currently. Before I send please confirm that you will NOT release my information unless there is any discrepancy from me. It will be fore YOUR eyes only. Confirmed. The information will be made public if problems arise from your end of the deal, included but not limited to the failure of sending chips, extended hiatus after the chips have been sent to you, and the general failure to withhold your part of obligations. Of course, I will delay the publicity of such documents unless there is absolute reason to do so as the release of such documents is irreversible.

Spammers and scammers should rot the in coldest spot in hell. *looks in spambox* Anyway, I'm quite sure that Maged is correct here. In case you didn't read, the forum policy specifically points out that spam is a bannable offense here anyway, and pointless posts are counted as spam.
