2541  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: KYC challenges on: October 25, 2018, 05:10:57 PM
For Legal Purposes .............................. Yes
For People trying to Abuse your Bounty ... Yes
For collecting KYC just to sell it to others...No

KYC is something most countries are trying to require now as it is there way to combat the people who is using ICOs to do criminal activities, it is also there way to give their own citizens protection from some potential scams if they try to invest in the cryptocurrency market. You also need KYC in order to avoid people abusing your bounty with their multiple account registrations, this will ensure you that the person will only receive what you are willing to give to just one person.

Now on how you can effectively ask for KYC, you should have a team or department that is meant for verifying that the documents your customers are sending are legit, KYC will only work if what they are giving you are not false data as some users tend to send fake documents in order to participate and abuse your ICO.

Only dumb people will fall for this trick. Hackers really don't use blackmail anymore as if what they are saying what they are doing they already have contained much sensitive information by now like credit card information and even your private keys and not only your email address and its passwords. They don't even have any proof that they have hacked your pc's camera and didn't show any screenshots of the websites you are allegedly visiting, they are also vague on their email as they are keeping it safe making sure it is general as possible.
2543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: October 25, 2018, 11:11:43 AM
PSG - Napoli match was great to watch and I don't that result of game can be called as surprise. Napoli played really well, but di Maria saved the day for PSG. Now it's very interesting situation in this group before second round.
This is still a equal ball game for the three teams in Group C, Liverpool, Napoli, and PSG are still battling for the top 2 spots. PSG and Napoli will have their rematch in day # 4 and it could really make or break both teams. Napoli defeated Liverpool in their first match and PSG lost to Liverpool in their first matchup. They still yet to face Liverpool in their 2nd game but I think Napoli is in a much better position compared to PSG, yet this could change after the result in their 2nd match against one another, it will also depend on how they will matchup against Liverpool after.
2544  Economy / Reputation / Re: A call for Intellectual Romanticist attention on: October 25, 2018, 10:01:02 AM
He then said that even if I made the deal with him, he don't have the money to pay me because it not his project so I can't accuse him of scamming.

Is this correct?
Nope his reasoning is flawed like what ibminer said he is responsible and it doesn't matter if the project developers didn't game him money to pay, he is the one who made a transaction to you that is why you are personally dealing with Intellectual Romanticist not the developers itself. He is liable for your fees and he should pay it. Same thing goes to participants who was not paid by the bounty hunters, they are the ones who gets tagged by DT members as they are also responsible for ensuring that participants gets the pay they deserve for the campaign, and your situation is not exempted by it.
2545  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will the next big recession affect the BTC price? on: October 24, 2018, 08:04:55 PM
On one hand, a lot of people might want to sell their BTC and move back to traditional investments while they're low, especially if they got into BTC in the first place as a way of getting better return-on-investment vs already-peaked traditional investments.
This is really a big possibility, if the recession really hits us hard we will see traditional assets such as real-estate and stocks decline in value and it will be tempting to people especially the whales in the community to start taking advantage of the cheaper prices. Owning a piece of land at a cheaper price would be a great investment to anyone after we see the market starts to recover. The downside to this is we will see whales cashing out big from the cryptocurrency market thus affecting the prices negatively overall. For me this could just be a short-term problem as people coming from the traditional investments might do the same to the cryptocurrency market, and if they see these cryptos having an attractive price they might also buy and hold them until they can profit from it in the future.
2546  Other / Meta / Re: Can we establish a division for posters according to their quality? on: October 24, 2018, 07:23:35 PM
Right now, the people earning merit the fastest are the ones that are compiling and analyzing merit data.  :/

Truly said.I will say it is side effects of merits instead of bringing overall quality it introduced us with few statisticians.
But this data that had been analyzed are helpful and the people who are posting the data have contributed much of their time just to create that post. From the collection of data (bpip.org, and merit.txt.xz), creating of graphs and charts, and translating the data all of which takes up a lot of time and all I can say is that they are both helpful and highly informative to all users that is why this kinds of posts deserves a lot of merits. If you want to have merits not from your regular posts then no one is stopping you to create your own data analysis as all the data is already made available for all of the members here, you'll be surprise on how hard it is to do what they are doing.
2547  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: October 24, 2018, 12:04:50 PM
For me focus on trading if you have opportunity to get an income with the current situation of yhe market just do it because some users are very scared to take a risk in trading right now but me still continue finding a good coin and earn profit even small amount i am satisfied with that. Also now i am using the trading site on my signature which helps me to increase my revenue due to their new feature which is nxy mining.
If you are actually reading the first post in this thread, OP didn't actually asked for an answer in his thread title. It is about a short comic that is relevant to our present situation where most of the people are carried by the hype yet they don't know what they are into. It's relevant because just like what you are doing,  instead of actually reading and understanding anything you are just trying to do a post in order to complete a post requirement. You must read the topic and the post below it next time for you to avoid spam and worthless shit.
2548  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rating of TOP 100 Sportsbooks on: October 24, 2018, 11:30:34 AM
In general, our site is primarily intended for European players. However, we also have a section with cryptocurrency sportsbooks, which is quite suitable for this forum.
I see that you also have a list as well for gambling sites that accepts cryptocurrencies. But I still have a question as I notice that NitrogenSports is included in your cryptocurrency list yet it didn't made the cut in your Top 100 overall list even though gambling sites lower its rank (MyBookie & Sportsbetting) got included in the Top 100 overall. Did you left out NitrogenSports or did you just forgot to include it in the list? Also another gambling site you might want to add in your cryptocurrency list which is already in your Top 100 is 1XBET, I remembered that they are also accepting several cryptocurrencies for both cashing in and cashing out methods. You can see it in their "payment methods" page in their website.
2549  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: recours mtgox on: October 23, 2018, 08:45:42 PM
You just missed the last day for filing your claim and I don't think you can do anything legally about that as they have given you appropriate amount of time (which I believe it started in August) in order for you to respond and comply for your own rehabilitation claim. The only fight you can have legally is when they have not communicated or notify you in any way about filing your claim which is highly unlikely as you yourself is an internet user and maybe even once you have seen an announcement about it. Also the only chance you have is if Mt. Gox personally extended their deadline for members who have forgotten to submit their claim.
2550  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rating of TOP 100 Sportsbooks on: October 23, 2018, 08:12:49 PM
Is this really what you called a "Top 100" list? The way I see your Top 100 is more like a normal list where you just put the names and links of their gambling sites with your referral code in it. The separate reviews you have created for each gambling site is more like a history lesson for me which does not count as your views to the gambling site. Most of the gambling sites you have listed are not even accepting cryptocurrencies in their website so I don't know why you are even sharing this to the forum.
2551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Scalability? on: October 23, 2018, 07:41:49 PM
You have done a great topic, however I personally think you are lacking a section about "what will happen to Bitcoin without it being scalable". If you choose to add one this is something you might want to add in your post. Some common issue we will have is of course blockchain will be clogged by thousands of unconfirmed transactions this transaction will of course be left unconfirmed for weeks (or even months) and to top it we will have higher and a much expensive network fees in order to achieve a acceptable confirmation time. Some members here think that scalability is only a feature for BTC to have forked coins but it is more than that and it is really helping the network.
2552  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-23]Japanese Government to Significantly Simplify Crypto Taxation on: October 23, 2018, 07:01:36 PM
The tax burden is set to continue to rise in developing countries, in no small part to service the rising public debt (but also to support a growing proportion of populations dependent on the welfare state).
From what I know Japan is already classified as a developed country and in fact it is one of the top 20 countries in terms of Human Development Index. A country's taxation problem is a little bit tricky, you drop the rates wrong you'll end up with a larger debt you raise the rates and you'll end up raising the prices of basic goods in your country both of which will affect the economy in a bad way.

While powerful corporations and individuals continue to "avoid" taxes, expect regular people to increasingly do the same. Fact.
This I agree some people purposely are avoiding taxes because they see that the rates is somehow unfair and they see their country personally is not growing, they somehow see that paying taxes will only benefit a few people that is why they don't pay the right amount. This could be avoidable if our politicians and government officials are not corrupt and won't accept bribes from this powerful companies, but that is not the case.
2553  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-23]Japanese Government to Significantly Simplify Crypto Taxation on: October 23, 2018, 05:58:43 PM
So 300 and something people paid taxes on crypto profits of over $1 million in Japan yet no one believes it's that low. How many people had that much to start with and how many would make such a large move back in to yen? Not very many at all.
331 investors is pretty low specially for a country where the cryptocurrency industry is highly monitored where they are handing out licenses for their crypto exchage. It would be impossible that only 331 people paid their taxes in Japan specially for a country who has a lot of investors. Other scenarios I see (which is highly unlikely) is that only 331 people profited from the market and everyone has experienced a loss that is why they didn't report anything . Their next move should probably be about them working together with their licensed exchanges where they need to give their customer's records for transparency, this should help them spot out who is not paying their obligations.
2554  Other / Meta / Re: Unused smerits shouldn't be destroyed but sent to merit sources after 1 month. on: October 22, 2018, 07:16:39 PM
Your idea is good but I don't think the members who are hoarding the merits will get the point you are looking for if we just sent their sMerits to the merit sources. Remember that we also need other members besides merits sources to show that they are also capable of sending sMerits to other people on their own as this will show that the sMerits being given by the merit sources does not stop to the people who primary receives it. Members especially the hoarders need to show that the merits they receive will cycle to worthy members especially the ones who are in the lower rank in order for them to be motivated on creating quality posts at the same time send the merits they earn to other worthy members.
2555  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Marketing, Media and Online Awareness Consultant looking for interesting project on: October 22, 2018, 05:58:47 PM
It would also be great if someone reputable here (or at least someone with proof) in the community would vouch for you as only promoting yourself without anyone commending you is really not believable for other members here. As harizen pointed out that the account, Miss Altcoin, is temporarily restricted which is a common thing that is happening to accounts that are hacked or has been into suspicious activities lately. I also sense that your Twitter followers are not all real as only a few of them reacts, re-tweets, and comment on your posts, they are not even going up to double digits which should at least be for a account that has over 100k followers.
2556  Economy / Economics / Re: CryptoCurrencies around the GLOBE on: October 22, 2018, 02:53:28 PM
No numbers and percentage but we're already millions and it keeps on growing everyday. And to spread about cryptocurrencies, you can keep on sharing good news with it and the bad news as well because every publicity is still publicity. Before spreading it, think of those times that people are sharing stories here that the people they shared crypto's to them blamed them for the sudden market crash. Well I guess this is a perfect time since its on dip.
To tell you honestly even without any media source pushing the tides from positive to negative or vice versa the cryptocurrency market or the whole industry will still grow, now that a lot of countries are pushing legislation and regulation we now know that the governments of these countries are preparing themselves with a world that has cryptocurrencies. With legislation this helps both the consumers and the businesses to set foot in the market where they once know is not safe to enter. Investors now will worry less about being scammed, traders will worry less that their ICO will dump, and miners will worry less about the chances of their operations being halted.
2557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: October 21, 2018, 04:07:42 PM
As things stands now Jon Snow seems to be the one who deserves the throne and he is the one who doesn’t even want the throne. He is King of North just because he wants to defeat the Night King and not because he wants power. He should be King.
He surely is the fan favorite to win the Iron Throne but remember this is Game of Thrones and the producers don't care on what characters we like. Remember that Daenerys don't know that Jon Snow is the true heir to the Iron Throne and a lot of shit could happen when she finds out that he is a threat in claiming the title of the ruler of the seven kingdoms, of course  a lot of things could go down and a lot twist and double-crossing could still happen and the spoilers are not yet confirmed we might be surprised on who will be the last one standing.
2558  Other / Meta / Re: Is there now a "Reason" section in the Ban message on: October 21, 2018, 02:34:33 PM
~snip~

Not a bad idea, I'm just not sure how many of them would know/understand the meaning of the word ' plagiarism.' Referring to people that usually get banned for it. Perhaps dumb it down to 'copy/pasting'?  Grin

However, I don't think it will stop them from trying to cheat, the worst case scenario is that they all use text spinning tools and become even harder to detect.
Maybe putting some examples or being straight forward should do the trick. Adding additional info below the warning should do the trick. Just by putting these two examples will make them understand :

- Copying and Pasting posts in the forum and parts of an article is not allowed without citing or quoting the original source
- Simply changing the words of another one's post is not allowed either

The two instances I gave above are the most common ways how members do plagiarism here in the forum. Reminding them that what they will do is not allowed should be enough to scare a lot of them off.
2559  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Holding unregulated crypto asset may attract punishment in India on: October 20, 2018, 06:14:59 PM
1. Cryptocurrencies cannot be use as payment method and is only meant for trading
2. Banks are prohibited to entertain cryptocurrency related transactions with their local exchanges
3. Attempting to screen cryptocurrencies and block unregulated ones

It looks like my suspicions are right after all, they are clearing the way in their market as India also plans to have their own state-issued cryptocurrency. The RBI is actually shaping the cryptocurrency scene in their country hoping for their own cryptocurrency to thrive in the market with no competition. But the way I see it is they are making their market less appealing to investors so I do hope their plan will backfire towards them.
2560  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advise for transferring money overseas to buy BTC from the US on: October 20, 2018, 05:20:11 PM
You won't be saving anything at all as using Moneygram and WesterUnion will kill you with their high fees and as a remittance businesses they won't be liable on anything if you get scammed with your transaction, you are better off with what they are suggesting you as alternative. Fees will depend on what country you are sending and it could go as high as 100$ or 10% of what you are sending. I really wish you could take advantage of their prices but the payment methods they are only accepting will not give you the deal you are hoping for.
